Ovi app re-download help!
Hi I recently purchased Labyrinth Touch from the Ovi Store. When i tried to download and install it, there was a connection issue and now it wants me to purchase again. Please can someone from Nokia help me by sending a link to download the app again or something like that, I have been trying for weeks to get some help from Nokia, I emailed Nokia twice, searched the internet and the Nokia support forums. So please help me, my Ovi username is vip3rza. Please help me i really want to keep using Ovi Store. Thanks in advance foamy13
Hi,
I also have downloaded some of their free games and aplication. But, due to failure of my memory card, I'd reformat it. Then, all of those form ovi aren't available for 2nd time download. I figure out that this is because of their "rules & regulation" terms. It's because, they don't want us to re-distribute the application or games download from them. There's good and bad about their terms. I hope that Ovi can come-up with some solution to this problem.

N8 Ovi Store unable to install app after downloade...
Hi all,
Ovi Store in my N8 unable to install app after downloaded. App are succefully downloaded but hang when start installing, i follow the prompt instruction in N8, which is click Smart Installer but prompt same installation process box & the box disappears after that without a successful installation.
App face above problem include Lyrics, Youtube Downloader, Different Tack.
My Nokia N8 firmware details :
Release : PR1.1
Software Version : 013.016
Product Code : 059D1F9
Ovi Store version : 2.06.00042
I'm not sure app at above are Qt app or not. Is it current firmware PR1.1 in N8 doesn't support Qt app yet? Anyboby has idea what's wrong for the Ovi Store?

Go to Solution.It can be solved by 5 steps :
1. Close Ovi Store and uninstall app using Application Manager.
2. Clear your browser cache data (Nokia browser>Options>Clear privacy data>All).
3. Go to file manager to clear installed app file (Menu>Application>Office>File Manager>Options>Find>Select Drive C or E depends where you install the app>Root folder>Type app name you want to remove>Delete founded file).
4. Restart your phone.
5. Open Ovi Store and install the app again.

How to download Ovi apps to computer and then transfer it to my phone?
I dont have data plan and I dont get wifi at my work. I need to download apps on my phone?
Please help me.My first experience with the OVI store: a few days ago.
Result? Shocked that the only option was to download to phone.
It's as if Nokia think we all have cheap data plans and internet on phones is as common as water.
On top of that they ignore decades worth of PC networks. The personal computer is the centre of the digital universe, Nokia. Not some esoteric device nobody has or finds useful. There should absolutely be an option to download to PC. It's so obvious!
The only reasons I can think for Nokia to insist on phone-only downloads is:
1) tracking you more effectively by identifying your phone and other personal data
2) reducing support costs on their staff (no more "how do I put this on my phone?" questions from those downloading to computer first)
It is truly bizarre the computer was ignored and not placed at the centre of their digital universe, but somehow this doesn't surprise me coming from Nokia.
If there is an easy way of extracting the setup file from already-installed applications, giving more details to those users stuck with this extremely restrictive problem would be very helpful. -
When I go to update my software using the app store download, it always asks for the previous user's ID, not mine (my IT guy at school's-I am a faculty with admin priviledges). I have signed in as me, have set the main preferences login user as me,and everywhere on the laptop I can use my apple ID except here. It always shows me a greyed out ID of my IT. How can I reset this to my ID? It doesn't give me an option to change the user ID, only a link to reset password. I reset it, but it did not change the problem. Can someone help me?
It's not an ID problem, it's an ownership problem.
When someone uses their personal Apple ID to buy and download content, the content is licensed to them and has their Apple ID engrained in it's DNA. It is an anti-piracy program. And when that personal Apple ID is used to setup a new Mac, it involves the Mac itself, the shipping OS and any pre-installed apps as well.
It's not the correct way to handle Macs that belong to a business or an institution. And had it been handled correctly they would not now be in this predictument needing a drastic remedy. -
i've an iphone 3.1.3. sometimes, i have problems opening all the apps i downloaded in the past 4 months. other apps would open but the recent ones will begin to boot and then close itself. once, it persisted for over a week. it staarted again this evening, pls help as am frustrated. NB- i checked for apps update but all my apps are up-to-date. CT
Try the usual steps: restart, reset, restore.

If restoring using a backup doesn't help, try restoring the iPhone to factory settings and try for a while with just the Apple-included apps, to make sure it's not an issue with a third-party app. If it still has problems, it may have a hardware problem and will need to be sent to Apple.

Just downloaded the new ios 7, and I can't seem to get any apps to download in the app store. It doesn't have the meter bar anymore and all it does is have a blue circle spin and spin for over 5 min. without nothing happening! Help!!!
Hi,
This is how App Store app shows now when an app is downloading. If you cannot download anything, go to Settings > iTunes & App Store, remove your Apple ID, and set it again. That should work.

My friend changed the language on my phone I then changed it back to english, and for some apps I download it is in a different language, i have tried restoring my phone and it is still doing this, know how to help? It only seems to happen for some apps and I have spent a long time trying to fix it.

I just enrolled in Creative Cloud and I can get the app installed on my desk but when I navigate from Home to Apps to download apps, it just goes around and around in blue circle (freezing). Im on a MAC.

How come I'm not asked for password for every app purchase, app auto downloads once I tap install, not good when my kids start buying apps because they are not asked for password, help!!

You would think they would set as default that Password was required - Imediatly . But they know there likely to get more purchases the way the default set it..

Every time I try to update an app or download from iTunes a message appears 'unknown error has occurred' can anyone help as to why this would happen and how to fix the problem? Thanks
Are you using a proxy or a VPN to connect to the internet? If you are, this is possibly the reason why. I suggest using anothe connection which is not a proxy.

Macbook pro two days old...bought logic from app store...logic has installed partly each time i open it up it wants to download rest of programme then stops half way thru and gets error message 'logic is unable to continue with download' help needed !

I would trot back into the Apple store and have them fix the problem (or call Applecare with a warranty issue). There is no sense in you wasting your time trying to troubleshoot things on a new computer.

Numerous new apps and downloads for existing apps have been frozen (after trying to install) for several days now......I have tried to delete or reinstall.....however....to no avail.......please help.....before I try the final solution......5 pounds of C-4.......DAMMIT JANET!!!!!!
So I reinstalled OS X Mavericks and that fixed the problem.

If your phone is in recovery mode, you've already lost ALL of the data on the phone. Your only choice now is to restore it from your most recent backup. You follow this by syncing your content back to your phone. Any data, on your phone, not backed up or in supported applications on your computer, is gone. iTunes content you can re-download for free.
