OWB deploy system error
Hello,
I'm having issues deploying large mappings:
"ORA-04030: out of process memory when trying to allocate 4000 bytes (PLS non-lib hp,pdzdM80_Allocate_Block)"
I'm getting the same error when deploying via either XP Client or OMB*Plus on the server. This started to happen a couple of days ago on a brand new system. On the old system it is still a OK. I CAN get source code for the mapping (package) in question off of the old system and compile it on a new system using SQL*PLUS?!
What could be wrong with OWB install/ setup? Some notes on Metalink suggest that it is purely DB/ HOST issue, but then how come via SQL*PLUS deploy works?
Thanks in advance,
Alex.

Thank you for your response, I have figure out and I now successfully deploy, I deployed through Deployment Management. But when I go to database as a target and the table is create there but empty, (no data)
I have 2 questions:
1. When I deploy the mapping itself sucessfully, do I need to Execute the mapping ? I tried to right click / Execute then it saying something like this :
Starting Execution COLLEGE_YR_CODES_MAP
Starting Task COLLEGE_YR_CODES_MAP
RPE-1013-SQL_LOADER_ERROR SQL Loader reported error condition, number 3.
Completing Task COLLEGE_YR_CODES_MAP
Completing Execution COLLEGE_YR_CODES_MAP
(college_yr_codes_map is the mapping name, i map a flat file to a relational table)
2. I have to map multi flat files as source file to target as oracle table, do I need to create multi connector for each flat files.
Thank you very much for all the help I can get here.

Hello ,
am using shared variable from opc client in labview when am run a exe file at development system its working fine but when am running it in deployment system its not working am using same configuration file in opc server at development and deployment system error -1950679034 (0x8BBB0006) (Warning)First Root cause needs to be identified before any actions.
I would suggest first check if you can access the shared variable hosted in PC from RT using other ways like using SVE API (Logos and PS protocols, Datasocket etc..)
Check if antivirus or firewall is playing...
Check the same experiment with some other PC if you can.
You can also try creating another Shared Variable in RT and binding the same to the PC and try to access it...
Since you have did all the reinstallations already

Error in OWB deployment Scripts
My OWB deployment scripts (the SQL PACKAGES created post deployment) are having errors.
When my source table, target table are in the same warehouse target schema which is owned by the Runtime Repository, the deployment scripts are working fine. But if the source or target table is moved to a different schema then the deployment scripts are giving errors saying - "PL/SQL: ORA-00942: table or view does not exist".
Please let me know how to rectify this error when my source and/or target tables are in separate schema....
-arnabThe problem is solved. One more question I have, in the Expression Operator, we have two groups, the input group and the output group. But if there is a need to have some attibutes for storing temporary calculations as well, before assigning them to the attributes of the output group, then under which group should these be made? I am asking for something like a variable group where the attibutes for storing temporary calculations will be made and these attributes can be used by the output group for sending the values to the next transformation.
Please help ..

Help!
When trying to deploy a test system i got the following error:
Error Code:-17500
Unknown System Error in TestStand - Read Seq Files in Workspace.vi->TestStand - Find Dependent Files.vi->TestStand - Add File and Dependent Files.vi->TestStand - Add All TestStand User Files to File Info Array.vi->TestStand - Update File Info.vi->TestStand - Distribution Wizard GUI.vi->TestStand - Deployment Utility Splash Screen.vi
I then tried to re-deploy previously successfully deployed systems - same error. (I have done nothing to my teststand setup/installation/engine or deployment files since the last successful deployment)
I removed teststand & then re-installed it - i still got the same error. These files it is searching for do not exist on my pc.
Any ideas what has gone wrong/how to fix it?
cheers
FiI've just had exactly the same problem and after posting a message, have been forwarded to this thread. Luckily it looks as though we've found a solution, or a cause of the problem. One of my work colleagues (SercoSteve on discussion forums) suggested removing the Teststand 3.1\cfg directory, and replacing it with a default one from another machine, and this seems to have done the trick and made the deployment wizard be able to analyse the files and build. We are editing files in cfg so I've now got the task of replacing each file in this directory one by one to find which is causing the problem.
I'll add another post when I find out which one it is.

Error: Could not retrieve deployment system configuration
Hi,
when I'm trying to list deployed components in the deployment perspective of my NW Developer Studio (7.2), I get the following error. It seems that the NW server is not reachable, but I had a look at the management console on the server - everything is running.
Exception occurred during the 'List Components' operation.
Cause:Could not retrieve deployment system configuration for CE1. Please check if the system is running.
Exception:
com.sap.ide.eclipse.deployer.api.APIException: Could not retrieve deployment system configuration for CE1. Please check if the system is running.

at com.sap.deployment.ui.view.RepositoryJob.run(RepositoryJob.java:26)
at org.eclipse.core.internal.jobs.Worker.run(Worker.java:55)
In addition, I noticed that if I add the NW server in the developer studio (preferences > SAP Java AS), only on server instance is listed (SCS01). Normally (after NW installation), two instances have been listed there.
The error prevents to deploy anything from within the developer studio. Does anyone have a clue about that? Thanks in advance! The problem I faced was related but just slightly different - solution is below. This is really only an issue if your AS Java server is on a different server than your NWDS and a firewall is active.
Error when trying to publish ConverterWeb demo project from local dev machine CE 7.2 Netweaver Developer Studio to server CE 7.2 AS Java was:
Could not retrieve deployment system configuration for CE1. Please check if the system is running.
[ERROR: 7/10/10 10:58 PM /userOut/daView_category (eclipse.UserOutLocation)
Thread[Thread-22,5,main]]
Issue is a firewall problem. Solution is:
1) remove default SAP AS Java from NW Developer Studio (Windows -> Preferences -> SAP AS Java
2) shutdown NWDS
3) open ports 50113 (port for instance 1), 50013 (port for instance 0), 50004 (deploy port) and 5000 (http for NWASJAVA) on the AS Java server.
4) open NWDS
5) add SAP AS Java in NWDS (Windows -> Preferences -> SAP AS Java: host - 192.168.1.16, instance - 1, Domain - Default
6) add SAP AS Java in NWDS (Windows -> Preferences -> SAP AS Java: host - 192.168.1.16, instance - 0, Domain - Default
7) publish ear.
8) navigate to: http://192.168.1.16:50000/ConverterWeb/
obviously you'll need to replace the internal ip with the ip of your server.
I think this firewall info is somewhere in the docs.

File System error while restoring a backup from analysis server to another
Hi
I have restored an analysis database backup to from server 1 (sql server 2008) to server 2(sql 2008) and its working fine
and now am trying to restore another database from analysis server server 3 (sql 2005) to server 2 (sql 2008 )but its giving error that
File System error occured while opening the file G:\ProgramFiles\MSAS10.MSSQLSERVER\OLAP\Backup\Workordermodule.0.db\WomDW1.7.00 ..etcHi Maverick,
According to your description, you are experiencing the error when restoring the SSAS 2005 database on SSAS 2008 server, right?
In your scenario, how do you backup your SSAS 2005 database? Please ensure that you backup and restore steps are correct. Here is a blog which describe how to migrate a cube in SQL Server Analysis Services 2005 to SQL Server Analysis Services 2008 step by
step, please refer to the link below.
http://blogs.technet.com/b/mdegre/archive/2010/03/31/migrating-a-cube-in-sql-server-analysis-services-2005-to-sql-server-analysis-services-2008.aspx
Besides, you can import SQL 2005 AS database in SQL 2008 BIDS Project. Then fix AMO warnings and deploy that database on SQL 2008 Server.

Following error i am getting after i chnaged the Path in Config File from

C:\Deployment\Files\temp.txt
[Bulk Insert Task] Error: An error occurred with the following error message: "Cannot bulk load because the file "C:\Deployment\Files\temp.txt" could not be opened. Operating system error code 3(The system cannot find the path specified.).".I think i know whats going on. The Bulk Insert task runs by executing sql command (bulk insert) internally from the target sql server to load the file. This means that the SQL Server Agent of the target sql server should have permissions on the file you trying to load. This also means that you need to use UNC path instead to specify the file path (if the target server in on different machine)
Also from BOL (see section Usage Considerations - last bullet point)
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms141239.aspx
* Only members of the sysadmin fixed server role can run a package that contains a Bulk Insert task.
Make sure you take care of this as well.

How to include NI-SPY in the Deployment system
Hello,
I would like to include the NiSpy in the deployment system I'm making. I included all the files in the 'C:\Program Files\National Instruments\NI Spy' directory and the 'nispylog.dll' located in the 'c:\winNT\system32\' directory.
The program is running when called, however when I select the 'Start Capture' (blue arrow) I get the following error message: 'NI Spy could not enable capturing because no API is selected. Please select at least one API from the Spy menu and try again. If there are no APIs' listed under the Spy menu, reinstall the National instruments driver software to fix this problem''
Can you advice me how to solve this problem?
a) Which files are missing?
b) If I want to install Ni Spy alone, how to do that?
Thanks
RafiRafi -
NISpy has an installer and I would recommend using it instead of trying to figure out the files to install manually. The DriverCD that comes with TestStand contains the installer and it is typically located on disk2 at \components\visa\ni-spy\NISpy.msi. I suspect that various NI drivers also install support for their APIs, so using their installers would be appropriate.

System error when calling a servlet
Hi All
I have a servlet deployed in sap j2ee engine. The servlet actually reads a SOAP message , extracts a file attached with the SOAP message and forwards the file to a RFC. Now from a java class I am attaching a file with the SOAP message and calling the servlet. At that moment I am getting system error at com.sap.engine.services.httpserver.server.client.handle(client.java:95) (Thats what I saw in the server system log)...
My servlet extends JAXMServlet implements ReqRespListener.
and use public javax.xml.soap.SOAPMessage onMessage(javax.xml.soap.SOAPMessage sOAPMessage).
Any help would be great!
Regards
SunitI understand, so i have a doubt, why the webservice works on jDeveloper ??Not just JDeveloper even soapUI and Neatbeans have a way of working without a client certificate installed.
I do not know how they achieve it. I know that they work without a client DC.
Cheers,
PS: See this http://stackoverflow.com/questions/8887434/webservices-ssl-https, it offers a clue.
The java programs run unhindered when one-way authentication is being used. These products ship with a digital certificate that is in the path of most popular CAs.
Corollary, if the Web Server is configured for mutual authentication then you need to install and configure the client certificate in the tools.

Is this BI java portal?
Is the java portal a addon to Abap or having seperate SID?

OSD works on one but fails on subsequent systems error 0x800700002
SCCM 2012 OSD deployment error 0×80070002
In the last 5 days we are seeing this
error code 0×80070002 when we try to deploy systems.
If we start more than one system before letting the first task sequence
OS download the .wim file we see this error on all subsequent systems we
are trying to deploy. (Note the first system will deploy and complete
the task just fine)
We tried removing and re-adding the network access account and also
setting up a new one with the same results , nothing in the smsts log of
the failed system it just stops logging. Also tried to copy the .win
from the DP pkg share from the command prompt on the failed system and I
get this message: (process cannot access the file because it is being
used by another process).
if I try and copy the file from two desktop system though windows file
explorer they copy just fine as long as the task sequence has finished on the OSD deployments
if not you see process cannot access the file because it is being
used by another process.
Any ideas.
ThanksJeff:
Thanks for the reply all our DP's are physical boxes and have not been updated or touched in a month, this issue started last week, so if I PXE boot 2 system and run the a task sequence, both system start the task till one of them starts to download
the image wim, at that second the other will fail with the 0x800700002, if I go to the system that failed and open a cmd prompt and map to the DP's smspkgd$\pakage id and do a copy *.win to the c: of the failed system I see on the screen (process cannot access
the file because it is being
used by another process)
I have an open ticket with MS but we are having no luck. (one more thing the system that did not error out completes the task just fine) -
[OAM] Customize System Error Page
Hi all,
we have a protected resource with an already implemented custom login form. This login form is not the one in the war, but an external (an static HTML).
We also need to customize the System Error page (blue screen) that is thrown when an server error occurs. I am following the OAM documentation but it seems confusing with my scenario here. It says to open the oamcustompages.war, modify the servererror.jsp file and re-deploy it. But then, documentation establish to configure "customWar" in the context of the authentication screen. I can't do this because I would loose the login page (and this is mantained by an external development team so this is not an option).
The customer wants to modify the blue screen not only for changing the look and feel, but also for catching error and perhaps make redirections (at now, the instruction is to know how to change that page).
Any help?Hi Matt,
I think the page you are being redirected to is servererror.jsp, which is deployed within oam-server.ear, within its own ngsso-web.war application. You could deploy your own version of this. I assume you could also modify the ErrorPage setting in oam-config.xml to define your own page, though I have not tested this. This would be a customisation, so you would be responsible for the system behaviour when doing this.
Regards,
Colin

Why can't I sort in Open/Save dialog boxes?
