How to restrict authorization based on profit center in ke80 report

hi friends
we have a situation where we need to maintain the authorization based on profit center in ke80 report. The authorzation object K_PCA is not working. whenever we assign a particular profit center and then generate the profile, we still get the message no autjorization and when we check su53 it shows it needs '' asterisk. but we cant assign the asterisk as we have 5 subsidaries and there are using 5 different set of profit centers so assigning asterisk () would be comprimising on our security.
does anybody came across this situation and if yes how did they resolve this?
I need your suggestions on how to maintain this restriction.

The problem has beend solved. It turns out that this is a report writer issue. We raised the issue with SAP and they informed that 'For Report Painter/Writer every item is checked if you have the authori-zation or not. Only the items with authorization fullfilled will be displayed afterwards'.
Based on SAP answer we created different reports for each profit center/company code.
I would like to thank you all for your time and inputs.

I will require Transcation Code to view the report based on Profit center, presently we are using KE5Z T_Code but that report doen't conatin the line items which was derived the data from 1st line item
For Ex: Expenses Dr
To, Expenses Payable A/c Cr (Profit center derived from Expenses line)
these kind of derived line items profit center is not showing in KE5Z, Please let me know where can i get such kind of line items

How to create master data source for Profit center group in source system

Profit center group information is available in SAP(T-code:kch3). But, I want to have this information in BW too.
Can anyone tell me how to create a datasource for Profit center group? And which SAP table is able to feed master data for this information?

It looks lilke we need to use the FM like 'G_SET_LIST_SELECT' to get the Profit
Here ais note from the forums to get profit center group from table
From Table SETLEAF, Field SETCLASS = '0106'. Field SUBCLASS with controlling area. Profit center in Field VALFROM.
You will get Group name in Field SETNAME.

Line item actuals report for Profit center group

I am looking for a Line Item Actuals report for a Profit Center Group on the lines of KSB 1 report for Cost center /groups.
I tried report "KE5Z but only profit centers can be selected, not profit center groups.
Any help on this

Try out the following report
S_ALR_87013326 - Profit Center Group: Plan/Actual/Variance
Call up Actual line items, here we go you would get the profit center group reports in similar lines as KSB1.

Service accounts for the Workspace Database service permission Error while creating Tabular Mode from PowerPivot

Hi All,
Please help me out against this issue. I have spent so much (3 working days) time just figuring out what is the issue and its solution.
I am learning Tabular Mode and trying to create a mode based on PowerPivot model. I am getting following error message:
'The PowerPivot workbook could not be imported. The service account for the workspace database server does not have permission to read from the PowerPivot workbook.'
Here is my infrastructure:
1. SSAS in Tabular Mode is installed on my Windows 8 Laptop
2. PowerPivot is also in my laptop
3. There is only my account (as Admin of course) for SSAS
Here are my questions:
1. What is this error and how can I cope with that? A step by step explanation would be highly appreciated :-)
2. Do I need to change something in Windows settings or in SSAS?
3. I am confused about my workspace database server as well, Do I have to install SSAS twice; one for development and one for workspace?
Looking forward for the expert advise.

Hi
You need to check if you really the report Plant wise and if yes, then check if the Accounting Transactions are maintained at Plant Level in your source system i.e. in R3.
Ideally it should be Business area or Functional Area or Controlling area which are maintained in Accounting Transactions. You will also the relevant details for these Characterisitics + Profit Center in the NEW GL Accounting data sources.

Hi Georgiapat465, welcome to the HP Forums. If you want the Month To Date statistics of your Instant Ink usage, you can log into your account on hpconnected.com and go to the services tab, and then find Instant Ink there. That page will show you on screen your usage.

Anyone else getting a message that they have almost used all of their data for the month?

We just got a message saying that we have used 90% of our data for the month and we are only 10 days into the billing cycle. I looked at our account on line and it says that we aren't even close to using our total data for the month. When does all of the stupid stuff stop? When I switched to Verizon 10 years ago, they were great. Great customer service, great plans, etc. Now that has gone away. The 4G service is an absolute joke. Where I used to have great service, there literally is none, and the phone won't even switch to 3G if it is in a bad area. I travel through a major city every day and I am amazed at how crappy the service is.
Now I'm getting messages that aren't even correct??? I have a lot of lines on my account and I don't want to go elsewhere, especially since I live in the country and Verizon is the only way to get decent internet service, but this is getting rediculous. I guess listening to the customers doesn't matter anymore as long as they get their money.

I just signed up for FIOS and am not experiencing your problem (had enough other ones instead).
Go to mail preferences ~ click on a mail account ~ click on the advanced tab. The only settings that worked for me were: port 110 SSL OFF, authentication: Authenticated POP (APOP). If I remember correctly when I first set this up another window opened and I typed in my password and never had to do that again.

Once the certificate expires the program must find all the contract accounts for the business partners and change the account determination ID field on the CA to be taxable. I already did the code to verify if the certificate is expire but I don't know where to look for all the contract accounts of a business partner and not sure which field to change to make a contract account taxable I think is KOFIX_SD, any help will be really appreciated, thanks in advance.

Based on the Partner you can get the contract account data from FKKVKP and FKKVK table.

When you sign in to https://creative.adobe.com and check your account info (click the upper right), does it say you're still active? Sounds like something got borked in the CC app and/or PS CC.

When do I get credit for the month of service I had to purchase with my phone upgrade?

I have been a Verizon wireless customer for years. I upgraded my phone last month on 10/18 on the Verizon website. During checkout for my new phone, the cost for my plan for one month was added to the checkout total. I paid it assuming I would see a credit for this on my next month's bill, but I received my next month's bill with a billing date of 10/28/2013 and it was the normal monthly bill I always get. When I look at my bill online, it is also the normal monthly bill with no credits. When do I get credit back for the month I paid for during the phone purchase?

serenityn0w, congratulations on your recent upgrade to a new device. When ordering a new device online and charging it to your account; the cost of your calling plan is not included in this purchase. You are billed for the price of the device, accessories, and one time $30.00 upgrade fee.
Once you activate your device, you are moved to the plan that you selected online during your order transaction. Plan changes during your billing cycle, will create partial and prorated charges on your next bill.
Proration is an adjustment that is made to your bill when you make a change to your account in the middle of your billing cycle. When proration occurs, this is what you're going to see on your bill:
• A credit for the portion of your monthly access charge that was billed in advance on the previous number from today's date through the end of the current bill cycle.
• A charge for the portion of the monthly access for the new number from today's date through the end of the current bill cycle.
• A charge for the monthly access for the new number for the next month.
• The monthly allowances associated with your plan may also be prorated, and overage charges may occur.
