PAC file support for Proxy Servers

When will AIR support PAC files for proxy servers?
In our network, we can't point to a PAC file because the AIR app simply ignores it, and we experience comms issues because of it. The workaround is to configure the network settings to point directly at the proxy, bypassing the PAC file.
This is a big problem as pointing directly at the proxy means a lot of manual configuration for each user that requires the use of the AIR app.
Any clues or suggestions?

Additional configurations (DHCP and DNS) are required when you use Automatically detect settings.

I noticed the the other fuji cameras from the HS/EXR range are supprted but the new HS50EXR has not been added as yet...can i hope that raw file support for the new Fuji HS50EXR camera will be added real soon?...please!

I suspect it might have been released a bit late for the next camera update version, it really depends on how soon Adobe get their hands on a camera.

Video: 3GPP formats (H.263), H.264/AVC, MPEG-4
Image: BMP, GIF, JPEG, PNG, WBMP
This phone runs on S40 FP1, and supports only Java applications (.jar and .jad format). It does not support .sis applications.

Parse JavaScript '.pac' file and get proxy details using C# code

Hi,
I have PAC file --> (A proxy auto-config (PAC) file defines how web browsers and other user agents can automatically choose the appropriate proxy server (access method) for a given URL (inbound request)).
This PAC file contains a JavaScript function “FindProxyForURL(url, host)”. This function returns a string with one or more access method specifications. These specifications cause the user agent to use a particular proxy server or to connect directly.
Eg:

From C# code i have to parse the above 'proxy.pac' file and get the proxy value that it returns based some condition specified in above method.

    HTTP Connection created in ECC is used for retrieving the SWC components of IR....but it cannot be used by PI for psoting the data to Proxy...
so in this need to provide the needed details at XI adapter level ...

Binary file support for web application in 10.3?

There is such paragraph in Release notes for Flash Player 10.3:
Binary file support
Add more power to your web application with direct byte access to binary data. Control and access data in new ways, such as adding support for new file and data types or manipulating sound data in real time to create new sound effects.
Does anyone know what do they mean by this exactly?

ACE best practice for proxy servers

Dear,
I would like to know which is the best practice scenario to load balance proxy servers:
1- Best practice to have transparent proxy or proxy setting on the web browser?
2- for transparent proxy: best practice to use ip wccp or route-map pointing to the ACE VIP?
3- What are the advantages and disadvantages of transparent proxy V/S web browser proxy setting.

Best practice :
VIP would be a catch all address.
To optimize the caching predictor hash url is used.
You can also use mac-sticky on interface so proper flow persistence is used within ACE
The mode is transparent so we preserve the destination ip address.

WSA S160 Support for Terminal Servers (How are terminal server connections handled?)

We have a terminal server environment with a mixture of computers and laptops. Currently we have multiple proxy servers and would like to considate down to one. Our current solution does not work well in a terminal server environment. We are looking for a way to integrate all equipment with one soluton and I was curious as to how the S160 handled users connecting via a terminal server.

Edadios thanks for the response. I was reading over this document (see attached), and it looks to me like the connection would be tracked via a cookie surrogate. My bigger concern is that we are looking to be able to track usage per user even though they are on a terminal server. Our current solution (Barracuda) is not able to perform this function. I am hoping to have a S160 on site this week to do some testing but was hoping to gather some intel in the forums prior to implementation.
The response helps clear up what protocols are in use but I am still wondering how terminal server connections are handled by the WSA and if they are truly handled and tracked per user instead of by the device they are connecing to.

Intermedia File Support for Photoshop PSD

We're running Oracle Intermedia and we would like to
integrate Photoshop File Support so that we can extract
thumbnails, sizes and other file properties. is this

We don't currently support PSD files, our image processing is based upon JAI and it is not supported there, and we don't know were a codec can be found for PSD (and the format seems to be non-public).
We do have a foreign image format that can support some non-supported formats, but we don't think it can be used here since PSD files have a variable sized header, and a line length word for scan lines (this is from old information... Get the WSDL-File used for proxy generation

Hello everybody!
I created a Web Service Proxy:
SE80 -> Select Package -> Enterprise Services -> Client Proxies -> New -> WSDL Source: Local File.
Everything worked out fine. I was able to create that Proxy.
Now I would like to look at the WSDL-File that has been used:
If I take a look at that Proxy by SE80 -> Select Package -> Enterprise Services -> Client Proxies -> [Select Proxy] -> Display in new Window -> Goto: The Menue Entry "Display WSDL Document" unfortunately is disabled.
I have not configured the integration builder.
Is there a possibility to get the WSDL-file that has been used for the generated proxy? Does anybody know, if the WSDL-file, that has been used for the proxy generation is archived somewhere in the system?

Raw file support for Canon S50

Apparently Aperture/Mac OS X does not support this format out of the box (but does support the S60 & S70).
1) Any way to trick it into understanding those files ?
2) If there is no way to solve (1), what is the best workflow for working with those files ?
Right now I import into Lightroom and then export as TIFF 16 bits followed by in import in Aperture. But they are no longer considered "RAW". If I export the files to DNG in Lightroom, Aperture only sees the thumbnail part and the photos have a ridiculously low resolution.
Any tips ?

Epson raw file support for Aperature

does aperature support epson raw file? .ERF?

I just purchased Aperture last night (at the new Apple Store on 5th Ave.).
I have been using the Epson R-D1 for a year and have a few thousand ERF (Epson Raw Files). Converting ERF to editable files in PS has been slow indeed. I was hoping Aperture would liberate me from this.
SORRY TO REPORT, "APERTURE" DOES NOT RECOGNIZE "ERF" FILES.
Regrettably, I did not do my homework. Fortunately, my son will be able to use Aperture with his Nikon D100.
I found this post in my search to see if anyone has had any better luck... if there are plug-ins, work arounds, Apple support, etc.
Anyone have suggestions?
