Pages in Reverse Order

I accidently scanned in 138 pages in reverse order! Is there any way to get this in correct order without laboriously moving the last page to first, etc. Or using Document menu and insert in dnew doc page by page?

You can use JavaScript to move the pages within the PDF. See the example in the Acrobat JS API Reference.

  • Printing pages in reverse order as a default for Mac os 10.6.3

    Help!
    Not sure what happened ...
    I'm trying to print document from all applications and as a default the driver is printing pages (E.G 20page doc)
    with page 1 first and the 2 on top, then 3 etc (pages face up as is ink jet fashion...) finally with page 20 on top ...
    No good, not what I want!
    I do know that I can open the Word print dialog box which does contain a setting Copies & Pages/Page Handling/Page Order with the options "automatic, normal, reverse" but every time I go into a new doc I have to do this every time.
    How do I set this as the default?
    Maybe this is not an Apple issue? I'm using an Epson TX810FW ...may have to take it up with them ...?
    Any help would be most gratefully appreciated!!
    F

    Set it up how you want it and then save it as a preset. You will probably find that once you've used it the print driver will default to it on subsequent printings.

  • PDF Pages wrongly in reverse order

    My Acrobat Pro Xl creates/saves PDFs with pages in reverse order -- page 1 is at the bottom, so you have to scroll down to it; the PDF opens with the last page on top. How do I make Acrobat Pro Xl create/save the PDF with the pages in the correct order?

  • PDF files print in reverse order per page

    Hi - I am trying to figure out if this is an adobe issue or a printing issue.  It is happening only on this user who is on Adobe 9.1 -everyone else is on 7.0 and they aren't having this issue.  So maybe it  is  a combo.
    When the user prints a PDF which was a powerpoint file (she did not creat it was sent via email) she selects 2 per page and hten selects doublesided - landscape and collates staples top left hand side.
    File prints doublesided and collates, but what would be slide one would be on the bottom of the page and what would be slide 2 would show at the top.  On the back of the 1st page  slide 3 is at the the bottom and slide 4 is at the top.  Staples at the bottom right.
    Printer settings seem ok......there is a selection for order and top to bottom is selected.  Reverse order is NOT selected.
    Are there any settings in Adobe that would cause this?  I have googled and though there are some similar questions no one has answered.
    specs:
    Windows XP Professional SP3
    Adobe 9.1 (latest updates)
    Canon IR C5185 (multifunction color)
    thanks in advance. Robin

    Hey,
    Please let me know what is your Reader version.
    Open Reader and go to Edit->Preferences->Accessibility and deselect 'Replace Document Colors' option.
    If this does not help, then try repairing Adobe Reader and then check.
    Let me know.

  • Scanned items show up in REVERSE order

    HP, please be more desriptive. I read previous posts and still cannot fix.
    When I scan a 5 page document, 1-5, it shows up on my MAC 10.9 in the order 5-1.
    One of your posts says in the "Copy" settings on the printer to change to "Collate On", then save default.
    I did this and it still shows up in the wrong order.
    I scan large documents everyday and need to have in correct order.
    Please help and be very specific!!!!
    Thank you,

    Hello tryii223,
    Welcome to the HP Forums!
    I understand when you scan a document, then scans are showing in reverse order. Just to clarify this issue, I need to ask you some question:
    I need to find out what type of printer do you have? Click here to find out: Model Number.
    How is this printer connected? Wireless or USB?
    Are you using the scanner glass or automatic document feeder? If you're using the automatic document feeder, are you placing these pages 1-5 or 5-1?
    Please verify this information and I will assist you further. Have a great night!

    Which method implementation of Pageable interface should return the page number ?w.r.t. your first question: don't return that number but return page n-1-i when page i is requested; your document will be printed in reverse order. Your class should implement the entire interface and wrap the original Pageable. (for that number n your class can consult the wrapped interface; read the API for the Pageable interface).

  • Commands to Print Word Document in Reverse Order and Only Evens or Odds

    I have an HP Photosmart printer that doesn’t have automatic duplex printing, so instead of manually printing the odds and then flipping the paper and printing the evens, I decided to write a script (I’m very new to script writing, so go easy on me):
    tell application "Microsoft Word"
    print out active document print out page type print odd pages only
    end tell
    display dialog "After the papers finish printing and after you place the papers back into the printer, rotated 180º, click OK." buttons {"OK"} ¬
    default button "OK" with icon note
    set the user_choice to the button returned of the result
    if the user_choice is "OK" then
    tell application "Microsoft Word"
    print out active document print out page type print even pages only
    end tell
    end if
    The only things that are working are the printing and the dialog box. The odd pages and even pages scripts don’t seem to work (though I read this passage from Guy Hart-Davis’s +AppleScript: A Beginner’s Guide+ http://books.google.com/books?id=9uBeokAwNLsC&lpg=PA303&ots=ICfmxTfG-W&dq=apple% 20script%20print%20odd%20number%20pages&pg=PA303#v=onepage&q&f=false) and I can’t find any command that will print my even pages in a reverse order. Any help would be so much appreciated.

    I believe I got the script to print the second round in reverse order, but I still can’t get it to print odd pages only and even pages only.
    tell application "Microsoft Word"
    print out active document
    end tell
    display dialog "After the papers finish printing and after you place the papers back into the printer, rotated 180º, click OK." buttons {"OK"} ¬
    default button "OK" with icon note
    set the user_choice to the button returned of the result
    if the user_choice is "OK" then
    tell application "Microsoft Word"
    print with properties {print reverse}
    end tell

  • Printing config sm to be set to print in reverse order. How to fix?

    OSX 10.6.3 and MS Word 12.23. When I go to print-to-disk a Word document (i.e. turn it into a PDF using Preview as the default display tool) I get a PDF whose pages are in reverse order. Fine for hard copy output, useless for PDF. Every Print pref or config setting I look for offers no help and, of course, as is completely normal, the Help menu offers nothing either.
    I have found an easy fix for a small document — do a "preview" of the document in the Print dialog then drag the pages manually to where they should be. But not every document I work with is small.
    Suggestions please.

    Oh John, thanks for trying to help. However, I'm not trying to print to any printer. I'm trying to "print-to-disk" i.e. save as a PDF to the desktop so I can later send it as an email attachment.
    And by the way, I forgot to mention for you and other kind folk in here — the Word print dialog box does contain a setting Copies & Pages/Page Handling/Page Order with the options "automatic, normal, reverse" but it makes no difference what I select, I still end up with "reverse".

  • Eprint reverse order for officejet

    Hi,
    Eprint always prints documents in reverse order. The eprint function is a very good feature, but getting the prints in the wrong order kind of defeats the hole idea. Why is eprint a desireable function? Because you won't have to wait for prints to finish when you arrive at your office. Well if I print a 150 page document and it comes out of the printer with the first page at the bottom of the stack and the last page on top of the stack, what use is this?
    I will have to sort the entire document manually. This has the feeling of a a bad joke. Come on HP engineers and programmers, can it really be that hard to fix this issue. I guess someone forgot that inkbased printers normally prints in reverse order, contrary to laserprinters.
    Other than that my new Officejet 8600 Plus works like a charm.

    Hi
    Reverse printing order in eprint can be solved the following way. Unfortunately this solution won't work for everyone only for Iphone and Ipad users and possibly other smartphones and pads.
    Go to App store in your Iphone and download HP eprint for home and biz. Once the app is installed you can open email attachments on the Iphone with the HP eprint app, and control printer settings from there. I've only tried it with duplex printing so far, but it works great.

  • Canon 2100 Series printing in reverse order

    I have a Canon 2100 series -- an MG 2120.  When I print things out, they come out in the tray in reverse order -- a six page document will thus have p. 6 on top when I take the stack out.  I cannot find a setting on my computer to make things print out in reverse order, so that page one will be on top and I won't have to manually put multipage documents in order.  Help?

    Hi oldwest,
    To change the order in which pages are printed, please follow the steps located at the link below:

  • [C] Trying to sort string into reverse order ... Blank. [SOLVED]

    Here are the pre-processors:
    #include <stdio.h>
    #include <string.h>
    Here are the global variables:
    char output[999];
    Here's the function to sort string to reverse order (I THINK THE PROBLEM IS HERE):
    char output[999];
    char *sort_reverse(const char *str)
    int i, j = 0;
    for (i = strlen(str); i > 0; i--)
    output[j] = str[i];
    j++;
    return output;
    And, function int main(void):
    int main(void)
    printf("Reverse of \"Hello\": %s\n", sort_reverse("Hello"));
    return 0;
    The output is:
    Reverse of "Hello":
    Why is that? how can i fix that?

    Instead of the global char output[999] wich is really big, you could allocate a perfectly sized array with calloc - like this in the sort_reverse function:
    char *output = calloc(strlen(input_string), sizeof(char));
    and in main program:
    char *reversed_string = sort_reverse("Whatever");
    printf("%s\n", reversed_string);
    //Remember to free reversed_string with
    free(reversed_string);
    //Since its allocated in the heap with calloc()
    Try check man-page for calloc, it will zero out the bytes aswell, then you wont have to worry about setting the last element to '\0'.
    NOTE: you have to iterate with "strlen(input_string) - 1" otherwise you will overwrite the needed '\0'
    EDIT:  As strlen excludes the '\0' in original string, then you have to make space for that by adding one to strlen return value so:
    char *output = calloc(strlen(input_string) + 1, sizeof(char));

  • C4380 prints 3x times and in reverse order

    I'm having some troubles with my HP C4380 all-in-one printer. It used to work well, both on two windows xp machines (one usb, the other wifi) and on linux (through wifi CUPS).
    Now, when i try to print a document (e.g. 2 pages) it starts to print it 3x times (e.g. it prints 6 pages) and in reverse order (so it's actually printing pages 2-2-2-1-1-1). I get this behavior both on wifi and on usb machines. I didn't try Linux but i think it worked last time.
    I tried to reinstall the drivers, but nothing changed.
