Parameter list and prompt restricted to 50 items

Is there a way to increase the restriction of the parameter list(LOV) to more than 50 items?

U can configure more than 50 values by changing the RecordsLimitForValueBrowser configuration setting in
C:\OracleBAM\BAM\web.config,. and after that restart all the BAM services and Microsoft IIS.

Reports 6.0 and Parameter Lists and Generate to File

I am using the run_product built in from Forms 6.0 and opening
up a report passing it several parameters via a parameter list.
Everything works great when previewing the report.
There is the option in the report preview under File -> Generate
to File. When I generate a report to file using any type of
format it appears that the report does not use the parameters
that I passed in originally from the form. It appears that it
looses all the parameters I passed in. This is most concerning
to me. Am I doing something wrong or is this a "feature" I
didn't know about? I really would like users to have this
ability.

Yes I guess this will work, but the option to generate to file
is extremely misleading if you ask me. This option should
generate the current report with the current parameters. This
is unacceptable as far as I am concerned and should be
considered a bug. Oracle needs to give us more control over
FORMS and REPORTS into all too many situations I have been
frustrated because I am not able to do something that I want to
do.
I feel in general REPORTS object is very limited compared to
crystal reports....

Open_form with parameter list and execute_query

In a 6i form WBPressed trigger creates the parameter list

How can I to recover and to use a parameter list in Report6i

I am working with Report6i and Forms6i.
I know how to create a parameter list and how to call Reports 6i with RUN_PRODUCT(...)
but I don't know how to recover the parameter list in Reports6i and how recover each parameter.

Hi Isidre,
You need to create user parameters in the report, one for each parameter value that you want to pass into the report. Make sure you set the data type and length for each user parameter, and also the default value if you don't pass in a value for that parameter.

Cannot remove report parameter list

I want to use a form to control all my report parameters and pass to report thru a run_product function.
However, I found that I cannot remove the default parameter list in report program. Every time the parameter list will prompt out. How can I remove the parameter list in report and it will never prompt out when I run that report?

You can hide the paramform by using an extra parameter in the paramlist you are filling in your form.
Use:
add_parameter(<parameter_list_id>, 'PARAMFORM', text_parameter, 'NO');

Ther are PARAMETER LIST DISCREPANCIES in the help file vs the NIDAQ.H header file for GPCTR_Read_Buffer...

PROBLEM: The function help file contains documentation for using GPCTR_Read_Buffer with 7 parmeters in the parameter list. The NADAQ.H Header file contains 8 parameters in the function declaration. Which is right? What is the correct parameter list and can an example be provided that shows how to use the function correctly? I am currently using DAQ ver 6.92 and a 6602 Counter Timer board in a buffered start/stop or ND_BUFFERED_TWO_SIGNAL_EDGE_SEPARATION_MSR application.

showed use of 8 parameters - in agreement with the header file and in disagreement with the on-line help file function documentation.

My iTunes Wish List won't let me remove items, how can I (or Apple) fix this?

I have a pretty full iTunes Wish List but when I want to remove a song/album, it says it will later but it never does, this is driving me nuts, I need some assistance without deleting my entire iTunes Library

I'm having exactly the same problem, also with 10.2.2 and OS 10.6.7. I've got about 40 items in the list and I have repeatedly tried to delete about half because the price went up but they won't go away.
Additionally, when I point at any one of the items, instead of a single delete circle (far right of the item), I get two, one larger than the other. Neither seems to make any difference. When I do delete the items, the total in my cart does not decrease and if I click out of wish list and back in, all the items I deleted return.
Sorry that's not help to you, but I hope that Apple notices and does something about this.

RUN_REPORT_OBJECT and parameter list

Has anyone been able to get parameters ( user parameters) passed successfully to a report using
RUN_REPORT_OBJECT?
In my case the parameter list is build correctly in an oracle form (checked via degugger),
the name of the user parameter is the same in the form and report,
but the user parameter does not display on the report.
I have used the name of the user parameter as the source for the report text item.

There is no way to clear the update notifications - unless you delete the apps completely from the iPad and from iTunes on your computer.
Obviously you want to continue to use the apps, so you either have to update the iPad and get the newer versions - or just ignore the update notifications. They will not go away.

What you've pasted the code here is absolutely correct.
You'll have to write the code in Forms builder.
You can either paste the same code in a procedure & call that procedure
from button's When-Button-Pressed trigger or paste the code in
your button's When-Button-Pressed trigger like this :

I've been trying to burn my projects in imovie to dvd's and i keep getting the forllowing error message "UNABLE TO PRPARE PROJECT FOR PUBLISHING"

Can you give more details? What exactly is the entire error message text? there should be an error number too. Are you trying to finalize this to an external disk?

I made an IMovie project and I can't now make a DVD of it. A window says there are problems and that they are shown in the User Parameter List. I am at a loss. Don't know what to do. HELP

I fixed the problem.. but it was very, very strange. I had a very long section for credits and set the line spacing to 1.0.. for some reason this caused it. I removed it, and it worked fine. I put it back, and I couldn't preview or play the video.
I don't know why that could cause that big of a problem, but it did..

After phone support from apple I ended up creating a new project and adding all 117 clips back in individually till I found out what clips flagged and would not allow me to export. I had 3 I deleted and replaced and everything works now 1hr after tedious work....
Where do Your material come from

• External hard disk
• USB-memory
And all are connected so that iMovie can find it ?
