Partial allocation against sale order during allocation run

Hi Experts..
How to do allocation run for partial quantity against to the particular AFS sale order while doing allocation run process in J3AT.
Example :
I have sale order stock 10 qty. but I want to do allocation run for 5 qty. So that I can make partial delivery for this 5 qty alone. So please suggest me how to do partial allocation run.
Thanks in advance

Hi,
You can try TCode V.00
This transaction when executed will give you the list of all the sales documents blocked for delivery per sales organization. There are various other criteria which might be useful. This transaction will allow you to edit each sales document.
If this is not the one that you want, then perhaps you might have to develop one.
Thanks

  • Partial billing against sales order

    Hello gurus,
is there anyway to set up partial billing. By partial billing I mean if I have a sales order for 400 pieces of one item, can I make a billing document for 200 pieces of such item save it and then come back to do another billing document for the 200 remaining pieces? Can this be done through VF01? How can this be set up?
I looked for something similar in various threads but couldn't find an answer.
    Thank you for your help.

    Hi,
    Goto VTFL.Select you valid combination.
Click on item.Select yout item category there.Goto details.
Select the Pos/neg quantity field as "+".
Maintain the billing quantity as "A".
    Maintain VBRK/VBRP as "001".
    Save.
Goto VOV7 and select your item category.Details.
Select completion rule as "B" and billing relevance as "F".
    Save.

  • Partial Deliveries against Sales Order

    Dear Team,
Query1: How to see the salesorders list for whose more than one delivery happened in the system?.
Query2: How to see the list of invoices that were created with reference to sales Order?
    Regards,
    Varma

    Hi,
    Please check this criteria also
delivery will be split if the below fields are different
    Shipping point
    ship to party.
    Route.
    confirmed qty dates
Also if you have any custom splitting rules, please check your copy control setting in T code VTLA from order to delivery.
if you manually break the schedule lines, and if stock is available for the order quantity , then delivery split will not happend and whole ord quantity will be delivered, even if there are varying schedule lines for the line item.
    Hope this helps

  • Availability check of material against sales order

    Dear All,
Please let me know how to check the material availability against a sales order during despatch stage. We are following make-to-order scenario & do create order bom based on Customer requirement. in such case how to generate the list of material available against the sales order line item by entering the following parameters:

    2. sales order no.
    3. line item no.
    4. material group
    Please help me!!!

    Dear ,
When system perform ATP  for any Sales Order , it checks the Total Replishment Lead Time-MRP3 .The total replenishment lead time is the time needed before the product is completely available again, that is, after all BOM levels have been procured or produced. It is not calculated by the system, but defined in this field as the total of the in-house production time(s) and/or the planned delivery time(s) of the longest production path.
This time is necessary if, for materials produced in-house, the replenishment lead time is to be taken into consideration in the availability check.
In an availability check where the system takes the replenishment lead time into consideration, it only checks whether there are sufficient incoming quantities and stocks available to cover the requirements within the replenishment lead time. Outside the replenishment lead time, the system assumes that the material is available in sufficient quantity.
Therefore, in this situation, it is usually necessary to depict the product's total replenishment lead time with all BOM levels as the replenishment lead time.
Now , unless the Requirement Pass through MRP , you can not have BOM explosion  at the lowest level and system will give you the result based on the MRP Net Requirement Calculation till the lowest level of BOM as dependent as well as FERT.
At the Sales Order Stage it only checks the Availablility of FG with in RLT which can be proposed or committed but not confimred because BOM Lead Time for compoenets are differnet and it does not perform any requirement planning .
But , you can check after MRP run , you can check the Material Availabity in MD4C , CO46 , MD04 etc where it will also give you a clear report on the Requirement Date , Committed Date , Qty to be procurede , Qty to in Stock all of them .
Before MRP  if you want to check  the Order BOM , then you may have to go for Z-report based MARD , VBAK , MARC , STPO  etc .

  • Account Assignment Error When Posting GI Against Sales Order

    Hello SAP Experts,
We are currently experiencing a problem during goods issueance against sales order (VL02N). The system terminates the issueance and gives error:
"Account XXXXXX requires an assignment to a CO object".
We have tried maintaining the GL account in OKB9 and assign a default profit center there but i didn't work. The material master also contains the profit center. We were only able to post the transaction if we try to default the a cost center in FS00. However we dont want to assign a default cost center as cost centers differ by plant. We are wondering why it asks the cost center considering that it already contains the sales order assignment. We checked the field selection of the GL account, movement type and even the posting key and all showed that the cost center is not required. We are now in a dead end situation here. Please please help us.
    Thanks in advance!

    Hello Praveen,
Thank you for your immediate response.
What confuses me is the fact that it asks for a CO element when in fact it is already assigned to one (it is goods issuance against sales order). Do you know why is the system behaving that way?
    Thanks!.

  • Costing against Sales Order

    Hi,
We are manufacturing a FERT material with strategy 20 MTO Production. we create a sales order and against sales order we run MRP to generate a planned order, then we convert the planned order to production order. Our entire planning is based on sales order. When we release the production order the cost is getting calculated but when we view cost itemization the material cost is not getting planned or updated inspite of having proper BOM.
Pl any one guide us to solve the issue.

    Hi,
First Calculate the planning cost of that material with Costing Run : CK11n and check there material cost and other cost. If these cost exist in that then definatly u will get in production order. Again cross check component material master. ( In costing view : material origin must be Tick, in BOM and routing - costing relevance indicator must active.

  • Reg.Purchase order against sale order( E )

    Dear Experts
I configured PO against cost centre (K - Cost center and G/L A/c is created) and it is working. But I want to configure against sale order (E).what is the configuration required. Pls advise in details
    Thanks
    Rajakumar.K

    Dear Raja,
Third-party order processing (for direct-to-customer delivery/drop shipment) is triggered when a sales order containing a third-party item is created.
When this occurs, the system automatically generates a purchase requisition item of the category u201Cthird-partyu201D for each delivery schedule line of the sales order item.
This requisition item is converted into a purchase order (PO) item. Depending on the confirmation control key, the quantities/dates in the sales order are confirmed when the PO is created or an order acknowledgment is maintained.
If you create a third-party item without referencing a requisition generated from a sales order, this is not third-party order processing in the foregoing sense: a matching-up of the data between the SD sales order and the purchase order cannot be carried out in such cases!
    Sales Order
In the standard system, the sales order item for the third-party process has the item category TAS (this is found automatically if the item category group BANS has been set in the material master, or it can be changed manually). In the standard system, the schedule line category CS is found for the item category TAS. It is specified in Customizing for the schedule line category CS that a purchase requisition (type NB) with the item category '5' (third-party) and account assignment category 'X' is generated.
The number of the requisition that is generated can be displayed via the delivery schedule lines in procurement.
If a PO is generated from this requisition, it can be seen in the document flow for the SD sales order (Environment  Document flow).
    Purchase Requisition
The requisition is generated via the function module ME_REQUISITION_EXT. An important characteristic is that the field EBAN-ESTKZ (creation indicator) contains a 'V'. If a third-party requisition is created in dialog mode, this field does not contain the indicator u2018Vu2019 u2013 that is to say, this is not a third-party process in the sense defined. A source determination process is carried out at the time of creation. The purchase order units found during this process are adopted! The account assignment, containing the number, item, and schedule line of the sales order, cannot be changed in the requisition. The account assignment is the u2018pointeru2019 between the requisition and the SD order!! Since Release 4.6, the delivery address cannot be changed either. The address of the goods recipient (ship-to party) from the SD order is adopted as the delivery address (caution: this can be located both at header and item level in the SD order).
There is a requisition item for each delivery schedule line in the sales order!
    Purchase Order
Purchase order items generated from the above requisitions contain EKPO-STATU = 'V'. The delivery address comes directly from the sales order (see LMEPOF3T MEPO_ITEM_FILL_ADDR) and cannot be changed. Neither can the account assignment be changed; here too it is the 'pointeru2019 between the PO and the sales order. In the standard system, the account assignment category is 'X', with KZVBR = ' '. Since the account assignment is located at item level, you must not convert several third-party requisitions into a single PO item, otherwise the update of the sales order is liable to fail!
An 'actual' goods receipt does not take place with regard to a third-party item. The 'WEPOS' indicator is not set for the item categories 'S', but can be set manually. The posting of a GR results merely in a value update here. The entry of a vendor invoice can be made dependent on the prior entry of a GR. In the third-party process, this only makes sense if you wish to prevent the customer from receiving an invoice before having received the goods. A goods receipt should be recorded when the vendor reports the outward delivery.
At the time of saving, the document flow and confirmations are updated in the SD order. If problems should arise on the SD side due to changes (e.g. the customer has been blocked), an error message is issued here first!
In the case of third-party items generated without reference to a 'third-party requisition', i.e. the item category u2018Su2019 is merely entered manually, there can be no update between SD order and purchase order. Here, for example, the delivery address is not read from the sales order u2013 it must be entered manually (mandatory field).

  • Plant to plant subcontracting against sales order

    hi
         my scenario is like this
two plants A and B under one company code, its repair scenario in this sales order come in plant b ,in this repairing we have 5 process out of which one process has to be carried out in plant 1,so  for that  we will do subcontracting against that sales order with plant b. so how to handle subcontracting with plant a against sales order.
Edited by: AMIT RANE on Mar 4, 2009 7:55 AM

Purpose: - Subcontracting is also possible in conjunction with sales order  The subcontracting orders are account-assigned to a slaes order . Thus, the components are not transferred (using a transfer posting) to the "stock of material provided to vendor" but are directly withdrawn from the sales order stock the time of the goods receipt. The material manufactured is also posted to the SO
The cost of subcontracting is then debited to the SO.
Since the components are not transferred to the "stock of material provided to vendor", it is recommended that you use a transfer posting to transfer the provided components to a new storage location (for example, 9999). This enables you to obtain an overview of those stocks that are physically located at the subcontractor. This information is particularly important when you carry out a physical inventory of the Project stocks.
    Features: -
Withdrawal from Stock of Mat. Provided for Project: -
For components that are managed in Project stock, you can define whether the components are to be withdrawn directly from each Project or from the stock of material provided to vendor. You manage this via the dependent requirements indicator for individual customer requirements and collective requirements (MARC-SBDKZ).
You can maintain this indicator in the following places:
In the MRP view of the material master record (MRP 4)
In the explosion types for the BOM item (in Customizing for Production in the step Basic Data -> Bill of Material -> Item Data -> Define explosion types)
Configuring the explosion types has priority over the configuration in Inventory Management.
If the indicator is set at Collective requirements only (2), the materials are withdrawn from the stock of material provided to vendor. If this indicator is set any other way, the system withdraws materials from Project stock.
    Regarding Subcontracting Challan: -
Go to OMJJ, select the field "movement type" and press enter
Enter movement type "311" and double click on "Field selection (Enjoy)" under Dialog Structure on left side.
here "New Entries" and add field "LIFNR" (Vendor- plant as vendor )
Now in MIGO, at the time of transfer posting of components using movement type "311 E", specify the vendor code of the Subcontracting PO (i.e. Subcontractor)
Now create Subcontracting Challan in J1IF01 for material document of 311 E movement type.
Also check in SPRO > Logistics - General > Tax on Goods Movements > India > Business Transactions > Subcontracting > Maintain Movement Type Groups > here for Movement Type Group "0001", Movement Type "311 E" should be maintained.
Then do GR against PO and refer the Subcontracting Challan here.
And then do reconciliation in J1IFQ for the GR Document against Subcontracting Challan.
Also check in SPRO > Logistics - General > Tax on Goods Movements > India > Business Transactions > Subcontracting > Maintain Movement Type Groups > here for Movement Type Group "0002", Movement Type "543 E" should be maintained.
    Follow the below mentioned process;
    Process Steps: -
    1. OX09 - Create Storage Location as "9999" for Subcontractor Location
    2. MB1B - Do Transfer Posting of material from RM Warehouse to this Storage Location via movement type "311 E" (Instead of doing 541)
    3. Now go to J1IF01 - here use material document of movement type "311 E" and create Subcontracting challan. (If required)
Prerequisite: - In SPRO > Logistics - General > Tax on Goods Movements > India > Business Transactions > Subcontracting > Maintain Movement Type Groups > Here for Movement Type Group "0001" (For issues), maintain movement type "311 E" also along with 541.
Rest all; refer subcontracting challan during GR and then reconciliation and completion, etc... Will be same as usual.
Note: - At the time of GR, consume components from storage location "9999" (for 543 movement type)

  • Is qty shipped against Sales Order visible in ASCP workbench?

    Hi
Is it possible to view qty shipped against Sales Order in ASCP workbench either in collected data or plan output?
    Regards,
    Utkarsh

    Hi Utkarsh
There are a few scenarios which may happen if there is a shipped qty against a sales order line:
    1. Qty Shipped is within shipping tolerance - Sales order line will be closed and its no more an active demand for planning (assuming inventory/ invoicing interface etc are already run). While this SO line still may be collected in APS, its only used for forecast consumption purposes.
    2. Qty Shipped is outside shipping tolerance - Sales order line will be split automatically with shipped line being closed (with same behavior as above in #1) and new line with balance quantity.
Thus, planners WB doesn't need to show shipped quantity though I'm interested to learn the business objective for requesting this information in Planner's WB?
    Thanks

  • Partial delivery of sales order with some line items

    Hi all,
Please help me in the issue i want to create delivery against sales order partially for some line items of the sales order . Can any one suggest me the procedure how to do it through programing .
    Thanks in advance,

    Hi,
You have several methods of doing same.
    Method 1
Go to VL01N, and given your sales order number.
Without giving the line item, just press Enter
Now inside the delivery, you can delete unwanted line items, and you can adjust quantities under Item overview tab.
After that do picking and PGI.
    Method 2
    Go to VL10E,
Give your sales order number and execute.
Mark relevant schedule lines only and press execute,
then those line items with marked schedule lines will copied to the delivery document.
    Best regards,

  • TCODE for Process order creation against Sales order

    Hi gurus,
Pls tell me what is the TCODE for Process order creation against Sales order
Eg. CO07 is for production order from sales orde

Typically, in MTO scenario after the sales order is created you run MRP which will create planned order and then you convert that into production order using MD04.
Or if you have SD settings correctly directly from the release of Sales Order it will create planned order or production order.
    please check and revert back.

  • Change Tax Code after Partial Delivery for Sales Order

    Dear all,
The government in my country has changed the GST (Goods & Services Tax) in my country from 5% to 7%. In my system I have created a new 7% Tax Code and assigned it to Condition Type MWST with a new validity date.
For newly created Sales Order, my pricing procedure gets the correct 7% Tax Code for MWST based on Pricing Date that is later than the validity date I've set.
However, my problem lies with partially delivered/invoiced Sales Order when updating of prices are not allowed. One possibility I can think of is to allow Condition MWST to be maintained manually and change it during Billing process. But I'm looking for a solution without change the Configuration if possible.
Can anyone propose a good solution to my problem?
    Thank you.
    Regards,
    Wen Ho

    Hi
May be you can solve it this way without changing configuration.
Please take a look at item fields pricing date (sales a tab), service rendered (billing tab - special for taxes). Both fields influences prices and you can change them for instance if you want new tax to be considered you can put an updated date.
If it does not change prices goto Conditions tab and press the update button (option G copy prices and redetermine taxes could be the appropiatte).
As a suggestion please test carefully the scenario (taxes are involved) before making any change in Production documents).
I believe it will work fine. Please rewards points if usefull.
    Best regards
