Passing a value in report

i have a stored procedure for the data set, this is my issue
i have debits and payments stored in one table, they only way to retrieve both types is to select either the voucher key or the receipt key. this is my sql where statement
WHERE
    (Pr_Voucher_Status_1."Voucher_number" = '66977' OR
    Pr_Voucher_Status_1."po_recpt_key" = '66977')
i dont want to pass a specific value. i would like it to retrieve all records is the voucher is = to the po.
i can retrieve the data if i use an or statement IF PARAMETER = FIELD THEN TRUE in the select expert and pass a paramter value through. I dont want to use either field for a parameter value, what i need to do is some how say in the stored procedure or a crystal selection to retreive all records.
i thought about passing an array, but cant use the formula in
the record selection.
i hope this is clear and someone can help. im stumped

Hi Sharon
You said you have both fields in one table.  Please do the following ::
--Write a SQL , use the table as alias i.e.
Select a.Voucher_Number, b.Po_recpt_Key from Pr_Voucher_Status_1 a , Pr_Voucher_Status_1 b where a. Voucher_number = b.Po_recept_key
--Now try to pull the data in crystal reports
Thanks

  • Unable to pass on value to report

    Hi,
    I have three pages: form, classic report and interactive report.
    I am trying to pass deptno value to deptno item created in classic report. On my form, under Actions, I am setting report's field value equal to form's field value. On clicking the Go button, the report appears but the field is blank.
    I have tried it with both classic and interactive reports, but getting the blank field.
    Can somebody suggest me the solution please?
    I am using apex.oracle.com.
    Thanks

    I have the same problem!!! =) Wondering if in APEX 4.0 there is a new way of using Item_values in a report.

    Can anyone help me in passing multiple values in prompts between reports in CRYSTAL REPORTS 2008  using opendoc or any method. I am able to pass single value from main report to second report. but not able to pass multiple values. Plz help me . Thanks in advance

    Hi Ramy,
    How you are passing your prompt values ? where you have created these prompts ? i.e. created these prompts in report level or stored procedure or Add command ?

  • Passing a value from Report A to B when B is in a different Subject Area

    I had posted a question previously on how to pass the Dept # from Report A to B when B i in a different Subject Area. The question was:
    Report A is a table on the Dashboard that shows Actual vs Budget results by Department. I want the user to click on the Department and be navigated to report B that shows the detail transactions that make up the Actual results. Report A and B are from different underlying subject areas. Thus when I navigate to report B, I see ALL departments, and not the one I clicked on in Report A to bring up Report B. How can I limit the results in Report B to be just the respective cell I clicked on in Report A?
    I got great advice from Nico on how to use the GO URL, but I can only get that to work if the 2 reports in question are from the same data model. In my case they are NOT.
    The GO URL seems to be working, as it does open up Report B when I click on the Department field in Report A, but it does not pass the Department number to Report B, even though reprot B has that field "as prompted".
    Can anyone definitively indicate whether what I'm trying to do is not possible in BI EE?

    Read this from Venkat... I think this will be helpful in understanding prompts, both the column prompts (Answers) type and the dashboard prompts. Very useful, I think.

  • Passing multiple values to report

    Hi,
    I have a parameter form. One of the field will have at least one value. When it have more than one value, the values will be separate by a comma and pass to the report. Please tell me how separate them and put them in quotation in the report query.
    EX: the values are: PO, DR
    There will be in the where condition as: where code in ('PO', 'DR');
    Thank you in advance.

    Hello,
    Forms does not allow user to select multiple values from a list item!
    The purpose of the LIST ITEM is to provide a list of values for data entry. Since data entry is for a single row of data, the LIST ITEM allows a single value to be selected. Selecting multiple values in the LIST ITEM for a single value item on a single record is not the function of a LIST ITEM.
    So, if you need to select multiple values from a field and pass them through a single parameter to report, i will present you two methods to achieve this!
    First Method is the text item Method:
    Stept 1:
    Create the text item with the values you need to send to reports.
    Step 2:
    Create 2 visual attributes.One visual attribute is for selected values and the other one is for deselected values
    Step 3:
    Create a parameter, in forms parameter layouts which will hold the selected value.This parameter will be used to set the report query clause.
    Step 4:
    Create a trriger for the item which you created at step 1. An example is when-mouse-click trriger.In the body of the trriger,if the item instance is clicked you will modify its visual attribute and the parameter created at step 3 will receive the item instance value.
    Step 5:
    In reports create a user lexical parameter(which is a large text parameter ex 2000).Ex. P_Clause.The value of this parameter is the value recrived for the form parameter you created at step 3. You report query will be like this: select * from table where &P_Clause!
    Second Method is the checkbox Method:
    Stept 1:
    Create a checkbox item near the text item with the values you need to send to reports.
    Step 2:
    Create a parameter, in forms parameter layouts which will hold the selected value.This parameter will be used to set the report query clause.
    Step 3:
    Before you call run_report_object proc, you will need to loop through records and build you parameter with the selected checkbox instances!
    Step 4:
    In reports create a user lexical parameter(which is a large text parameter ex 2000).Ex. P_Clause.The value of this parameter is the value recrived for the form parameter you created at step 3. You report query will be like this: select * from table where &P_Clause!
    Hope this helps.

    Alex

  • Passing Checkbox values to report

    Hi , I have created check box " Gender" :P2_gender
    when i pass it to IR in where clause like " where gender = :P2_gender"
    it is returning value if I check one value , but if I check both values in checkbox it is showing no records found..
    I dont know where I went wrong . I used to use Select list with same logic worked fine. But this is my first time using Check Box..

    I have SSRS parametarized report in that one data set have repeated values with query parameter . but while am mapping that query
    parameter to report parameter i need to pass distinct values. How can i resolve this

    Hi nancharaiah,
    If I understand correctly, you want to pass distinct values to report parameter. In Reporting Service, there are only three methods for parameter's Available Values:
    None
    Specify values
    Get values from a query
    If we utilize the third option that get values from a dataset query, then the all available values are from the returns of the dataset. So if we want to pass distinct values from a dataset, we need to make the dataset returns distinct values. The following
    sample is for your reference:
    Select distinct field_name  from table_name
    If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask.

  • SSAS report action to pass multi-value list of dimention key values to a SSRS report parameter

    This was originally posted on StackOverflow and suggested I try here as well.
    I want to create a report action in an SSAS OLAP cube that generates a list of formatted values to pass into an SSRS report parameter that accepts a multi-valued parameter list.  This would be applied at the
    cell level in the SSAS action.  I have found a solution that gets me most of the way:
    How to Pass Multiple Values from an SSAS Report Drill Through Action to an SSRS Multi-Value Parameter, but not quite.  The action does appear in Excel and works
    if I run the action from a cell that is at or below the dimension attribute I am generating the list for, in this case,
    Account Key.
    Below is a link to a screen capture (unable to embed it due to lack of reputation) showing the action and dimension structure in Excel.  The action works as long as I run it at the
    Account Key level or below.  I want to be able to run it at higher levels, such as
    Account Major and still have it generate all then related Account Key values for the SSRS report parameter.  Running it at the higher
    Account Major level does not trigger the report to run.
    Excel Action Screen Shot:
    http://i.stack.imgur.com/QCGSp.png
    Below is the MDX I am using to generate the value for the report parameter:
    UrlEscapeFragment(
    GENERATE(
    DESCENDANTS(
    [Account].[Account Key].CurrentMember,
    [Account].[Account Key].[Account Key]
    [Account].[Account Key].CURRENTMEMBER.Name,
    "&rp:Account="
    I am hoping that I can somehow modify the MDX above to make it return all the
    Account Keys for any attribute of the Account dimension when ran from any measure cell, not just when ran at self and children of
    Account Key in the pivot table.
    Also, if it helps, I can execute the following MDX query on the cube and get the results I am looking for.
    WITH MEMBER [Measures].[Account Key List] as
    GENERATE(
    DESCENDANTS([Account].[Account].CurrentMember, [Account].[Account].[Account]),
    [Account].[Account].CURRENTMEMBER.NAME,
    "&rp:Account=")
    SELECT {[Measures].[Account Key List]} on 0,
    ([Account].[Account Company Number].[Account Company Number],[Account].[Account Major].[Account Major]
    ) on 1
    FROM [Company 10 Action Demo]
    Below are partial results:
    10.116&rp:Account=10.116.010
    10.117&rp:Account=10.117.010&rp:Account=10.117.020
    10.120&rp:Account=10.120.005&rp:Account=10.120.006&rp:Account=10.120.010&rp:Account=10.120.020&rp:Account=10.120.030&rp:Account=10.120.040&rp:Account=10.120.050&rp:Account=10.120.060&rp:Account=10.120.380&rp:Account=10.120.999
    10.123
    Questions
    Any ideas what I might need to do to get Account Key to be returned for any attribute of the
    Account dimension?
    Would I possibly have to alter my Account dimension in the cube to get this to work?
    Thanks in advance.
    Edit 1 - Adventure Works Cube Version
    I was unable to get the suggested answer with the "Exists" function to work.  To better demonstrate this issue, I have recreated it using the Adventure Works Cube.
    I will focus on the Customer dimension, specifically the Customer and
    Education attributes.  I created a report action called Test Report Action.  Below is the XML created for it in the cube.
    <Action xsi:type="ReportAction" dwd:design-time-name="f35ad5ee-5167-4fb8-a0e0-0a74cc6e81c6">
    <ID>Report Action 1</ID>
    <Name>Test Report Action</Name>
    <TargetType>Cells</TargetType>
    <Target></Target>
    <Type>Report</Type>
    <ReportServer>SQLSERVER</ReportServer>
    <Path>ReportServer?/Test Report</Path>
    <ReportParameters>
    <ReportParameter>
    <Name>Test Customer Existing</Name>
    <Value>UrlEscapeFragment(
    GENERATE(
    EXISTING DESCENDANTS(
    [Customer].[Customer].CurrentMember,
    [Customer].[Customer].[Customer]
    [Customer].[Customer].CURRENTMEMBER.Name,
    "&amp;rp:Customer="
    )</Value>
    </ReportParameter>
    </ReportParameters>
    <ReportFormatParameters>
    <ReportFormatParameter>
    <Name>rs:Command</Name>
    <Value>Render</Value>
    </ReportFormatParameter>
    <ReportFormatParameter>
    <Name>rs:Renderer</Name>
    <Value>HTML5</Value>
    </ReportFormatParameter>
    </ReportFormatParameters>
    </Action>
    Below are the steps to re-create the issue.
    Connect to the cube in Excel
    Add dimension Customer -> More Fields -> Customer
    Add measure Internet Sales -> Internet Sales Amount
    Right-click Internet Sales Amount cell, select "Additional Actions" -> "Test Report Action" and see customer values created for URL
    When the action is ran at this point with Customer, I see the values created in the URL shown message box (since there is no SSRS report server at location specified).
    Now the part I'm unable to resolve
    Remove the Customer dimension and add Customer -> Demographic -> Education
    Right-click Internet Sales Amount cell, select "Additional Actions" -> "Test Report Action"
    Nothing happens. If I ran the action on the cell next to "Bachelors", I would want it to build up all the list of all the "Customers"  that make up the "Bachelors" in the
    Customer dimension as part of the report parameter.  If no attributes where used in the cube from the
    Customer dimension for that cell, then I would like it to return "All Customers", or something similar to show that all customers are included in the aggregations.
    I am not too MDX savvy, thus far.  I think I need to somehow join the
    Customers to Internet Sales Amount in the Generate function portion.  I have tried several different combinations of the
    Customer dimension and Internet Sales Amount, along with various functions to see if I could get this to work with no success.  I am hoping that someone more knowledgeable the me will have a solution.   If you need more details,
    please ask and I will provide them.

    Simon,
    Thanks for you help with this.  This morning I found a workaround.  Below describes what that is.
    What I ended up doing was getting a list of values from a degenerate dimension that I could use to pass to SSRS to get a list of transactions for a report.  Below is how I did this, in relation to the Adventure Works cube using the degenerate dimension
    Internet Order Details.
    WITH MEMBER [Measures].[Order Param List] AS
    GENERATE(
    EXISTS([Internet Sales Order Details].[Sales Order Number].[Sales Order Number].Members, ,
    "Internet Sales"),
    [Internet Sales Order Details].[Sales Order Number].CurrentMember.Name,
    "&rp:OrderNum=")
    SELECT {[Measures].[Order Param List], [Measures].[Internet Sales Amount]} ON 0
    ,([Date].[Calendar].[Date]) ON 1
    FROM [Adventure Works]
    This will get a list of Sales Order Number in a text string, separated by "&rp:OrderNum=" for each measure of
    Internet Sales. This would allow me to create an SSRS report to bring back detail information for each
    Sales Order Number. Below are some sample results.
    May 16, 2007 SO50493&rp:OrderNum=SO50494&rp:OrderNum=SO50495&rp:OrderNum=SO50496&rp:OrderNum=SO50497&rp:OrderNum=SO50498&rp:OrderNum=SO50499&rp:OrderNum=SO50500 $12,157.80
    May 17, 2007 SO50501&rp:OrderNum=SO50502&rp:OrderNum=SO50503&rp:OrderNum=SO50504&rp:OrderNum=SO50505&rp:OrderNum=SO50506&rp:OrderNum=SO50507&rp:OrderNum=SO50508 $13,231.62
    May 18, 2007 SO50509&rp:OrderNum=SO50510 $4,624.91
    With this, I can then create a Report Action in SSRS with a Parameter Value of
    UrlEscapeFragment(
    GENERATE(
    EXISTS([Internet Sales Order Details].[Sales Order Number].[Sales Order Number].Members, ,
    "Internet Sales"),
    [Internet Sales Order Details].[Sales Order Number].CurrentMember.Name,
    "&rp:OrderNum=")
    The way I was going about it before was flawed, as I was trying to get a list of the granular values from each dimension used to build the measure value and pass each one of those as separate parameters. I just needed to set something unique for each fact
    measure transaction that represents the value and uses that in a query parameter for the SSRS report.

  • How to pass a value from the report to a form ( BIT OF URGENT ).

    Hi,
    I had created a "Form on a Table with Report" on the report I had remove the edit link and set one of the column feilds that functionality. Now I want to know how to pass that value that is clicked ( having hyper link ) on to the form where it runs a SQL query and then displays the reuslts on the form.
    Illustrating with an example.
    I am having these following columns on the report ( these are the results for the join statement )
    JOBNUM JOBNAME DEPTNUMBER SAL EMPNO LNAME FNAME
    In the above JOBNUM is having Hyper link as I removed the edit image.
    Now this is area I am having problem. When the user clicked on the JOBNUM then on form it should display 20 other columns( pulled from 5 other tables ) which are related to that particualr JOBNUM.
    Anybody give me a solution in which area I have to include my SQL statement and how to pass that selected value to that SQL statement.
    Cheers,
    Krishna

    Hi Ron,
    I am doing exaclty what you have suggested me but no luck. I started changing the DEMO_CUSTOMERS application to my requirements.The report is working fine and on the report I have created a page attribute to the Hyper linked column and linked that to the page 2 and assign that attribute with #JOBNUM#.
    I am able to pass that value on to form when I click on the JOBNUM. But the problem is I am not able to pass that value into the SQL query so that my query pulls 20+ columns on to the Form ( which is second page ).
    Small clarification... On the form region it is said FORM NAME and type is HTML is that is the way the APEX was designed or does it need to say region type as FORM.
    Thanks for your help in advance.
    Cheers,
    Krishna.

  • Help Creating A Link In An IR Report Passing The Value From A Different Col

    Version 4.0.2.00.07
    Hello,
    I have an Interactive Report with a column that I need to create a link on but I need to pass the value of another column.
    This report shows the Features of a particular Release. There is a select list for the Release that is selected and executes the report.
    There is a column that indicates whether the Feature has a Commitment attached to it. If there is have that a link to another report that shows all the Commitments for that Feature by passing the FEATURE_ID which is also a column on the Feature report.
    Query:
    SELECT
          ,CASE WHEN ft.feature_id IN (SELECT cc.feature_id
                                       FROM customer_commitments cc
                                       WHERE ft.feature_id = cc.feature_id
                                      ) THEN 'Yes' ELSE 'No'
           END "Commitment Exists"
              ,ft.feature_id
    FROM ....If "Commitment Exists" has a 'Yes', the 'Yes' is a link that will pass the FEATURE_ID to another report that will show the Commitments for that Feature. If the "Commitment Exists" has a 'No' then no link.
    I was also wondering if the Commitment report could open in a seperate window and make it modal?
    I hope this is clear and someone could help me.
    Please let me know if it's not clear or more information is needed.
    Thanks,
    Joe

    To accomplish this I would build the link as part of the value. So if Yes the Yes itself would be a link, if No is simply text as today.
    It would look something like this:
    SELECT
          ,CASE WHEN ft.feature_id IN (SELECT cc.feature_id
                                       FROM customer_commitments cc
                                       WHERE ft.feature_id = cc.feature_id
           THEN
            '<a href="f?p=&APP_ID.:NEW_PAGE:&SESSION.::::Pn_FEATURE_ID:' || ft.feature_id || '">Yes</a>'
           ELSE
            'No'
           END "Commitment Exists"
              ,ft.feature_id
    FROM ....One problem with this approach is when you export the report (as a CSV for example). There are a few ways to handle this, one is to simply duplicate the column with clear text yes and no and set this column to be included on export and only visible on export. The other column, with the link, set it to no export.
    The other option is to add another condition on the REQUEST value.
    SELECT
          ,CASE WHEN ft.feature_id IN (SELECT cc.feature_id
                                       FROM customer_commitments cc
                                       WHERE ft.feature_id = cc.feature_id
           THEN
                  decode(:REQUEST, 'CSV', 'Yes'
                , '<a href="f?p=&APP_ID.:NEW_PAGE:&SESSION.::::Pn_FEATURE_ID:' || ft.feature_id || '">Yes</a>'
           ELSE
            'No'
           END "Commitment Exists"
              ,ft.feature_id
    FROM ....It seems that the link itself is getting replaced with a #. The link would look something like this:
    'f?p=&APP_ID.:NEW_PAGE:&SESSION.::::Pn_FEATURE_ID:' || ft.feature_id
    Hope this helps.
    Oh and of course, in order for the link to display you need to change the Display Type to "Standard Report Column" otherwise the HTML will be escaped.
    Thanks

  • Passing value from Report Column to Javascript

    Dear Apex wizards,
    I am a bit stuck right now with implementing a modal pop-up/iframe/javascript and this forum is my last hope to fix this issue.
    Anyway, will try to explain what I am trying to accomplish.
    What I need is: I want to have an SQL report, as a very first column I want to have an "ID" numbers from my table and I want this column to have a "Column Link" set in "Column Attributes" proper ties. The trick is, that when I click on the column link (when I run my report on Apex page) I need a JQuery modal window to pop-up where in IFrame will be another page and this page will use an "ID" from my column link URL to display data. So, basically I want to pass an "ID" value from my parent page to my child page which is displayed in iFrame of modal window.
    And here is what I have:
    1. I do have an SQL report:
    select SUBNET_ID,
           long2ip(NETWORK_ADDRESS),
           long2ip(SUBNET_MASK),
           long2ip(END_HOST),
           long2ip(START_HOST),
           MAX_HOSTS,
           long2ip(BROADCAST_IP),
           NETWORK_CLASS,
           NETWORK_SIZE,
           HOST_SIZE
    from   YC_CM_IP_SUBNETS 2. Then, in "Column Attributes" for "SUBNET_ID" a have set a "Column Link" to URL as : javascript:ViewNetworkDetails(#SUBNET_ID#); 3. Now, when I run my page and point my mice on any item in my "SUBNET_ID" column I can see that it is getting a "SUBNET_ID" number from my table and it shows it in the buttom of the browser as :javascript:ViewNetworkDetails(1);, or (2) or whatever "SUBNET_ID" is. So, that is good.
    4. And here I am getting confused, basically I have to pass a value of javascript:ViewNetworkDetails(#SUBNET_ID#);, which seems to work as it gives me correct numbers from my table, to my "ViewNetworkDetails" JavaScript function, so it can paste this value into "f?p=........." iFrame URL. Below is my Jquery Modal form script and Javascript to redirect me to my popup page (the script is in HTML Header):
    <script type="text/javascript">
    function ViewNetworkDetails(){
    var apexSession = $v('pInstance');
    var apexAppId = $v('pFlowId');
    var subnetIDNumber = document.getElementById(#SUBNET_ID#);
    $(function(){
    vRuleBox = '<div id="ViewNetworkDetailsBox" title="View Subnet Details">
    <iframe src="f?p='+apexAppId+':103:'+apexSession+'::NO:103:P103_SUBNET_ID:'+subnetIDNumber+'
    "width="875" height="500" title="View Subnet Details" frameborder="no"></iframe></div>'
    $(document.body).append(vRuleBox);
    $("#ViewNetworkDetailsBox").dialog({
                            buttons:{"Cancel":function(){$(this).dialog("close");}},
                            stack: true,
    modal: true,
                            width: 950,
    resizable: true,
    autoResize: true,
    draggable: true,
    close : function(){$("#ViewNetworkDetailsBox").remove();
                            location.reload(true); }
    </script> P.S. My assumption is, that there is a problem with this part of my scriptvar subnetIDNumber = document.getElementById(#SUBNET_ID#); where I cannot get my "SUBNET_ID" value from javascript:ViewNetworkDetails(#SUBNET_ID#); into "subnetIDNumber" variable and that is why I cannot pass it to my iFrame URL.
    P.S. P.S. the child page 103 has a "Automated Row Fetch", so it is not a problem. In addition, I did a simple test, where I had a page item "P102_Value" with some value and in my script I had instead var subnetIDNumber = document.getElementById(#SUBNET_ID#); this var subnetIDNumber = $v('P102_Value'); and it worked perfectly fine....but cannot make it working against SQL Select statement :-(
    HEEEEEEEEEEEEEELLLLLPPPP.
    Thanks

    Change your column link to send the subnet_id column's value to the function call (you mentioned it, but I m not sure if you actually did)
    javascript:ViewNetworkDetails(#SUBNET_ID#);<u>You are passing the parameter value to the function, but not defined any parameters in the function definition</u>(this is possible in JS, any extra parameters is ignored)
    So, modify the function to accept the subnet ID parameter(I am actually surprised how you missed this) and assign that parameter to variable.

  • How to pass a value to a bind variable in a query report in oracle apex

    Hi Guys,
    I have requirement to send weekly reports via email to some users. The users should receive their own records in the report. The user details is stored in a table. What I am planning to do is to create a report query in oracle apex to generate the report and then run a function/procedure via a scheduler to email the report to respective users. Now my query is ............. is it possible to pass a value (user name) to the report query to pull records of only that user? I know we can have bind variables in the report query but I have no idea how to pass a value for bind variables from a function/procedure.
    Can anyone help me on this issue or suggest a better approach?
    Thanks,
    San

    You need to use dynamic sql
    But please keep in mind that since you're using Oracle you may be better off posting this in some Oracle forums
    This forum is specifically for SQL Server

  • Pass value from report on skillbuilder modal page

    I am using the skillbuilder modal dialog. I have a report that displays in the modal. I want to pass a value from the report back to the page that called the modal and then close the modal. I have tried several different things, but I have not been successful. Any ideas?

    Not sure if you have completely read the instructions.pdf that comes with the plugin. The "Events" section (Auto Close event) under "Advanced Usage" in the pdf may help you.
    Anyways, I have not tried this solution.

  • Passing multiple values to another page via a sql report

    Having trouble passing multiple values to another page via a popup SQL report
    I have two fields one called "descr" and another called "Met"
    when I use the code below all works fine and the value of "descr" is passed
    Select '&lt;a href="javascript:popUp2('''
    || 'f?p=&APP_ID.:950:&SESSION.::&DEBUG.::'
    || 'P950_TYPE:'
    || descr
    || ''', 790, 460);"style="color:darkred; font-weight: bold;font-size: 90%"&gt;'
    || descr
    || '&lt;/a&gt;' "Note"
    But when I want to pass another value, all goes bonkers and instead of the value of the field being passed the literal text is passed.
    can someone look at my code below and see what may be wrong
    Select '&lt;a href="javascript:popUp2('''

    Hi Frank,
    You should close this parameters with single quotation. Try this -
    Select '&lt;a href="javascript:popUp2('''
    || 'f?p=&APP_ID.:950:&SESSION.::&DEBUG.::'
    || 'P950_TYPE,P950_CODE:'

    || ''', 790, 460);"style="color:darkred; font-weight: bold;font-size: 90%"&gt;'
    || descr
    || '&lt;/a&gt;' "Note"
    Hope this helps.

  • PASSING EMPTY VALUES TO THE REPORT

    Hello,
    I am having an issue with generating reports published on Crystal XI Server.
    When I do not pass any value for a parameter and try generating the report, an error is occurred which says "REPORT LINKING ERROR - There was an error in launching the viewer: empty String".
    Crystal Version 9 reports are fine even if I do not pass any value to a parameter.
    Can anyone help me out in resolving this issue?
    Thanks,
