Password expired message not prompt when login

I have installed SGD 4.2 on my Fedora Core 3 system. And the login authentication of SGD was set to ENS & Unix Group. PAM 0.77 was also installed. I created a user named test with expiry day. When I tried to login linux on terminal, I got the warning message. But I couldn't when I login the webtop. Any suggestion?

SGD 4.0 on Fedora 3 can work well. I have ever installed SGD 4.1 & 4.2 on Fedora 3 & 4. But they can't work normally. Anybody know why and how to config?

What is the error that you are seeing? Try to login using another App like GameCenter or iMessage? Also try logging in to other Apps like Facebook to check if it is your Internet connection problem.

Initial and expired password status is not checked during login for ITS Services

Dear all,
we have the following Basic problem or question regarding ITS-based ABAP Services provided via browser to internal and external customers:
The user call the ITS via URL "https://<host>:<port>/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/it13?sap-client=03&sap-language=en" his browser.
To access the Service a simple login Dialog appears for entering the credentials (UserID + Password).
The problem with this simple Dialog is that after resetting the users password this initial password status seems not to be checked here.
That means, that the user is able to login with this initial password and he is not forced to change the password.
In difference to this the intended behavior is provided for example when the SAP Standard ITS Service "webgui" is launched by the user:
The user launches der Service via URL "https://<host>:<port>/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui?sap-client=03&sap-language=en"
In this case an additional first SAP WebAS login dialog appears where the users has to click on a Login-Button. This login button opens
another login dialog as a popup where the user is able to enter his credentials. But if the password has an initial status the user is
forced afterwards to change his password.
So the login behavior of the webgui Service is what we also want for the any other ITS Service. We've already compared the service properties and
settings (SICF), but we could not find any difference.
What can we do to change the login behavior for the ITS services ?

Can you attach a screenshot of the "Logon Data" tab of the service 'it13' in transaction SICF?
In SICF - Tab: Error Pages -> Logon Errors
is 'SYSTEM Logon' selected for both the 'WEBGUI' service and 'IT13' service?

Adobe Creative Cloud Window Blank and Does not Prompt for Login?

I have three computers right now. One 2010 iMac, one 2012 Macbook Pro and a new 2014 Macbook pro. I have logged out and uninstalled creative cloud from the iMac. After buying the new MacBook Pro (2014) I have used the 2012 laptop to copy my entire user profile onto the newer laptop (including Adobe applications and creative cloud). However, when I try to open a Premiere project from the external drive I have been working off of, I get this message:
Adobe Application Manager is needed to resolve this problem. However, it is missing or damaged. Please download and install a new copy of the Application manager from 'http://www.adobe.com/go/applicationmanager'.
When I go to that link, I get a prompt to download creative cloud (not application manager). I of course download Creative Cloud again and am given the steps to install but once the Creative Cloud installation progress bar finishes up and CC opens up, the window is blank and I am not asked to login or do anything. I cannot access any projects or login to my CC account on this new computer whatsoever.
I have deleted the opm.db file in the "OOBE" folder and I have restarted the application. I have uninstalled and reinstalled. I have restarted my computer. I have tried everything for the past few hours and have made absolutely no progress.
I am pretty stressed about this as the projects I have to work on are time sensitive. Any help would be greatly appreciated as customer chat support just left me on hold for close to an hour and I have not found a solution in the forums.

I actually found a post after another hour or so looking that pointed out the same potential problem that you did, but thank you for your help anyways.
I actually found some steps that someone had posted from their conversation with customer service. I've pasted it below. Hopefully it will help another lost and weary traveler as much as it did me.

Step 1:
Open Finder application.Click on Go>Go to Folder.
Type /library and press return key.
Then navigate to Application support/Adobe folder.
Right click on Adobe folder and select 'Get info'.
Under Sharing and permissions, click on Lock icon and enter
Administrator user name and password.Click on symbol, select Admini
strators and click on Add, then give 'Read and Write' permissions to Administrators.

Please give full permission as mentioned above.
Step 3:

OOBE to OOBEold.
Step 4:
Open Finder application.Click on Go>Go to Folder>>Type ~/library and

Locate the folder named AAMupdater and rename it to AAMupdaterold and
OOBE to OOBEold.
Once you are done with the above steps, you can try launching the
Creative Cloud desktop application.
If you still face the same issue, please try the next steps.
(These steps were not necessary for me.)
Step 5:
Click on the below link to download the cleaner tool.

Select the product as Creative Cloud and CS6, then select Creative Cloud
desktop/Adobe application manager and select clean.
Step 6:

MDB / AQ / RA problem: message not dequeued when put by PL/SQL to AQ

I’m facing the following problem: I have a setup a J2CA Resource Adapter for AQ (OEMS) and a MDB listener. As polling configuration I use the following:

According to the spec, this configuration should make sure that the underlying the JMS implementation polls the queue (AQ) every 250 ms in order to check whether there are available message.
When I send a message to the AQ using JMS, the message is dequeued within an acceptable time range.
However, when PL/SQL code enqueues messages directly to the AQ things do not work well:
1. When PL/SQL posts a message > 4096 kb (according to the spec messages > 4096 kb have to be posted in a different way, since a CLOB column is used) for the first time it takes about 4 minutes until the MDB picks it up. All subsequent messages are picked up immediately, which is not surprisingly since the documentation mentions that an adaptive strategy is used. 4 minutes is not acceptable for me.
2. When PL/SQL posts a message < 4096 kb the message expires on the AQ-queue (even though it is a non-expirable message), without being picked up by the MDB.
What do I do wrong? Help is needed and appreciated!

With great pleasure I can announce 'a' solution for the problem stated. Apparently the JMS implementation expects certain JMS headers in the Oracle AQ message in order to fetch it from the AQ properly. The PL/SQL code, which caused the problem described in this post, looked like this:

This solution was posted in the following blog: http://technology.amis.nl/blog/?p=2384. The environment in this blog is a Oracle XE database. The writer gets an ERROR when posting a message without adding the described JMS headers (see first pl/sql code snippet). Therefore he was forced to provide them in order to make AQ work for him.
The remarkable thing is that in our environment (Oracle 10.2.0.x) posting messages without the necessary JMS headers do not result in errors. The AQ accepts them but the JMS listener remains silent or receives them after an unacceptable amount of time.
This must definitely be a bug. Hope this information can help you to solve your PL/SQL AQ JMS problem.

Customizing Request not Prompting when i save

Hi Everybody
I configured some settings in spro like Requirent Strategy, MRP Group, ATP Group etc.
While creating those objects customizing request was assigned to all my configuration settings in spro.
Recently i unlocked the request in se03 and deleted the Customizing request because it was not in the sequence.
Now when i go to the same transaction and save the object it is not prompting me new customizing request.
When i change existing settings then system is prompting the Custoizing request.
I would like to reassign custoizing request for all my objects which were created earliar.
Please help.

See if you can change some text fields and try saving it.
I tried with changing the Text , system is prompting me the Request but we have more than 37 Product Allocation Objects and Sequence.
Else on the menu bar Table view option, select transport, it would ask you for a request.
I tried with this option, syste is not picking the objects into request.(Request is generated but system is not picking any objects when i check it in se09 under the node of the request)
Please sugest me.

Printer not prompting when doing double sided copies

According to the manual, my Hp 7645 is supposed to prompt when to place the second original in the feeder when doing double sided copying. Well, is not. I've followed all the directions; checked all the settings, but the darn thing will spit out the first copy of the one I'm making and then pull it back in (even when I have put the second original in the feeder) and then spit the copy back out with no double side. What is going on? Any ideas? Thank you for your help.

I can hep you copy 1 sided originals to 2 sided copies. Please place the pages that need to be copied on the document feeder, then in the copy menu be sure to select the 2 sided copy option and choose 1:2.

IOS Group Messaging not working when Android phones are involved

Group Messaging not working for me when there are both Iphones and Androids involved. iPhones still using iOS 7 don't seem to be having problems leading me to believe this is an iOS 8 problem. Is there a workaround for this yet, or is this a legitimate bug fix that Apple will have to address?

Thanks for the question. After reviewing your post, it sounds like you arr having trouble with group messages. I would recommend that you read this article, it may be able to help you resolve or isolate the issue.
iOS: Troubleshooting Messages
To resolve issues with sending and receiving iMessages, follow these steps
Check iMessage system status for current service issues.
Go to Settings > Messages > Send & Receive and make sure that you registered iMessage with your phone number or Apple ID and that you selected iMessage for use. If the phone number or Apple ID isn't available for use, troubleshoot iMessage registration.
Open Safari and navigate to www.apple.com to verify data connectivity. If a data connection isn't available, troubleshoot cellular data or a Wi-Fi connection.
iMessage over cellular data might not be available while you're on a call. Only 3G and faster GSM networks support simultaneous data and voice calls. Learn which network your phone supports. If your network doesn't support simultaneous data and voice calls, go to Settings > Wi-Fi and turn Wi-Fi on to use iMessage while you're on a call.
Restart your device.
Tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings on your iPhone.
If you still can't send or receive an iMessage, follow these steps
Make sure that the contact trying to message you isn't blocked in Settings > Messages > Blocked.
Make sure that the contact you're trying to send a message to is registered with iMessage.
If the issue occurs with a specific contact or contacts, back up or forward important messages and delete your current messaging threads with the contact. Create a new message to the contact and try again.
If the issue occurs with a specific contact or contacts, delete and recreate the contact in the Contacts app. Create a new message to the newly created contact and try again.
Back up and restore your device as new.

Keep getting the message not responding when playing Facebook Help

HI,
when I am playing a game in facebook, I keep receiving message not responding and I have to shut the system down and reopen I have tried cleaning history which does not help. I believe the problem might be firefox Is there any way you can check and let me know. I have done most of the little message that show on the first here and still it does not help.

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
* Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
*Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

Why app world does not prompt when exitting while installation is going on.

When I install any apps from apps world, why it does not promt when installing anything,
This is bcz it stops the download . Its frustrating when you have to again download it .

Expired messages not logged correctly

The Expiration Policy is set to "Log" and the Expiration Logging Policy is set to "%header%,%properties%" yet there are no entries in the server log.
          I am using a JMS template to configure my destinations and I can see that the other template settings (Redelivery Delay Override, Redelivery Limit) are correctly recognized. This is configured on WebLogic Server 8.1 SP5
          I can see the messages are being redelivered as many times as specified in the template but after the final attempt nothing is logged in the server log. Please advise how to resolve this issue.

TimeToLive is a synonym for "expiration time".
          TimeToDeliver is only activated if your application or configuration has enabled an optional extension for scheduled messaging - sometimes also referred to as "setting the message's birth time" to be sometime in the future rather than immediate.

Active Sync - Password Message Not Prompting - After AD pwd expired or new password reset

We have multiple CAS 2010 SP3 server in cas array servicing Active Sync Requests for Blackberrys and Samsung handhelds.
When a user password is reset on AD …. The users BB/Samsung works fine for approx. 24 hours.
After 20/24 hours they will are prompted regarding their password change on the their handheld devices.
Where is the setting… I want this to be right away …. As soon the password is changed on the AD or may be in 15 minutes.
Are there any pros and cons here ….. or what’s the best practice/recommendation???

active sync establishes continuous sync (direct push) it takes 8 to 24 hours to recognize the changed
password.

HT5624 apple id password reset but not accepting when sign in

when came out from flight, switch on my Iphone5, it start asking to "Sign In to FaceTime" with my apple ID password.
I did reset the password through mail and start sign in. It is not working. What could be the reason?

HP SimplePass Fingerprint Reader not prompting at login

Hi there,
I have just bought the HP Envy 15-j140na diectly from HP. The laptop is fantastic, however I am having a problem with the fingerprint reader. The computer comes with the simplepass software version 8.00.57 already installed.
The problem I have is that once I have set up the fingerprint reader with simple pass, it doesn't prompt me to scan my print during the windows login and i have to log in normally. I have checked all of the settings and it should be set up, however there is no prompt. Just to note that everything else works fine. I can sign into websites on IE no problem at all using the fingerprint reader. It can be slightly frustrating as this defeats the point of having a fingerprint reader.
Any help to get it working would be greatly apprecieted,

You are Eric are talking almost about the same thing -- Eric is trying to direct you to the part of the Logon program that is giving you problems, that is, the Windows Native Fingerprint Logon.
You are looking at HP SimplePass, the "third party" fingerprint software that sits on top of the Native Windows fingerprint reader software and "kind of" gets along with the Windows software -- most of the time.
Sorry, Not very good "geek speak". Frown.
You can try the following to untangle the two programs and make them get along better:
Open the file > Click on Download > Click “Open in Adobe Reader”
Instructions to Upgrade HP SimplePass
Jump down to around Page 10 (at writing) –
Remain calm and perform the Pile of Rubble - Hard Reset Sequence
Next:
On Page 2, Follow the steps:
Procedure - Update / (Re) Install HP SimplePass
NOTES:
Pay attention to the "Order of Events", that is, finish the tasks in the order presented for best results.
Ignore References to Series 6 -- you are going to stay with Series 8 and update to the latest 8.x version.
Most likely you can use the Validity Sensor Driver already in your notebook -- you can check the Version in your Device Manager: if the Driver in your Notebook's support page is newer, you can download and install that Driver.
At this writing, the latest 8.x version package available in the Instruction Document matches that which is available at your notebook's support page - you may download either as you will.
Be sure you Export your Webcards! You may not need to worry about the Import this time; it is good to know how to make the Backup and you should be doing this anyway!

I don't know if this will make the two fingerprint programs get along better or not -- but it will put them on a more even playing field by updating the HP SimplePass to the later version and by resetting everything so the software has a reasonable chance of working.
There is also a bit of "check this and that" at the beginning of the Dragon Document that is specific to Windows 8.1 -- and some bits about your Security Software startup that may be relevant.
