Expired messages not logged correctly

The Expiration Policy is set to "Log" and the Expiration Logging Policy is set to "%header%,%properties%" yet there are no entries in the server log.
          I am using a JMS template to configure my destinations and I can see that the other template settings (Redelivery Delay Override, Redelivery Limit) are correctly recognized. This is configured on WebLogic Server 8.1 SP5
          I can see the messages are being redelivered as many times as specified in the template but after the final attempt nothing is logged in the server log. Please advise how to resolve this issue.

TimeToLive is a synonym for "expiration time".
          TimeToDeliver is only activated if your application or configuration has enabled an optional extension for scheduled messaging - sometimes also referred to as "setting the message's birth time" to be sometime in the future rather than immediate.

  • Cisco Secure ACS not logging correctly

    I asked an ACS question in this thread the other day and it got answered so not sure if this is the right thread or not but I couldn't see any ACS questions under the Security or AAA threads.
    I'm running 2 ACS 4.2(patch 11) servers and the logging seems to have stopped working. Whilst some events are logged sporadically (some devices in particular consistently work - CatOS switches seem to still log TACACS accounting), the majority of messages I would expect to see in most of the logs are not present.
    I have tried changing the frequency of the logging from monthly to weekly to daily and each time I change the frequency its as if some messages that were "held up" suddenly appear in the penultimate log file where they should have been present the whole time.
    I can confirm that the ACS server is handling the AAA correctly just that it seems to not log it.
    I was thinking about raising a TAC but thought I'd try here first.

  • Imqadmin: No. of messages not displayed correctly in durable subs screen

    This question applies to the standalone platform edition of Message Queue v3.5 SP2 running on solaris.
    I have a number of durable subscribers connecting to a topic. Each & all subscriber have a selector set to filter the data.
    From imqadmin I can select the topic and bring up the broker destination properties. If I happen to have messages that have not been consumed (I halt my consumer code to test this), the count on the "basic" screen shows the current and correct number of messages waiting.
    If I drill down and go to the Durable Subscriptions screen, the number of messages for the durable subscriber with the relevant selector is always 0... and doesn't seem to reflect that there are messages that haven't been consumed. (Even though my code does see the data come in when I reconnect the consumer).
    Is this a bug in the imqadmin display or is there a reason why it can't display the message count correctly at the durable sub screen for consumers with a selector set?

    I don't think I'm seeing the same bug... in my app the producer and consumer are both active.
    Relevant information for this test:
    1) My producer and consumer are both active at the same time.
    2) My consumer is using a transacted session and it is also consuming messages synchronously
    3) I produce 250 messages and send them to my destination (a topic)
    4) For this test I force the consumer to fail on its handling of the data. Say it was trying to handle 50 messages - it rollsback the session and tries again. Therefore leaving 250 messages still in the topic.
    The result is that when I display the destination properties screen using imqadmin:
    1) The current number of messages count is displayed correctly as 250.
    2) However, the count for the durable subscriber with the correct selector is still showing 0.
    Once I allow the consumer to resume its work, all 250 messages are handled correctly by that consumer only and the count (in 1) is shown as 0.
    So the producer, consumer process works fine but the imqadmin gui seems a little confused.

  • 'Sorry, Too Many Cards' message NOT rendering correctly

    I'm seeing the 'Sorry, Too Many Cards' message not render properly for me on Palm Pre 1.3.1. I rebooted the phone and was able to reproduce the problem by opening up many cards. I have uploded a screenshot: http://img188.imageshack.us/img188/6525/browser20091511171212.png
    As you can see, the 'OK' button is not rendered correctly. If I remember correctly it supposed to be a green button? Also, the right side box is supposed to have an icon or something. I've never seen this error message NOT rendered properly before 1.3.1.
    BTW, like others have posted - once I get to a memory threshold I can't even open up core apps - like 'Device Info' (in case I needed to reboot the phone). I would have expected some high availability on these apps w/r/t memory management.
    I would upload more debugging information if I knew how on the Pre. But like I said I was able to reproduce on 1.3.1 before and after a reboot.

  • TMG not logging correct authentication

    I have rather a strange issue where I cant seem to find any logs on any of my servers including TMG. I can log in using AD credentials to various sites we have which rely on the same TMG servers and AD servers perfectly fine with all accounts. However when
    I have an account which the password is going to expire in a month (4 weeks) the users are unable to log in to the OWA site and get a message stating:
    "You could not be logged onto the Forefront TMG. Make sure that your domain name, user name, and password are correct, and then try again."
    However if I use the same credentials on one of the other sites the account works fine as the account is still active and has not yet expired. The users are in different physical locations and different OU's but on the same AD servers and TMG. The issue
    is not present with accounts which have had a recent password reset or are out of scope for a password expiration within a month. In other words if they have an expiry date longer than a month they can log in to OWA perfectly fine.
    The TMG will log traffic which is authenticated on OWA and I can see this on the IIS servers and DC's as well. However with the expiring account I see nothing on the TMG, IIS or DC's. The same thing happens if I fail authentication purposefully on a live
    account (one not expiring in the next 4 weeks). I am not sure where to go as I have no logs to look through so I cant see the issue to resolve it.The other sites which are working as published on the TMG as well which work find regardless of expiration date
    approaching.
    Does anyone else have this issue or any ideas on where to go?

  • OSX 10.9.5 Mail: Flagged messages not listed correctly and/or disappearing

    I have a problem using Mail V7.3(1878.6) on OSX 10.9.5:
    I have about 600 flagged E-Mails in various account inboxes and archived folders, some archives are stored local on the mac, others are archived in folders on IMAP servers (NOT gmail). Total number of mail messages across all accounts is approx. 34.000.
    Since the 10.9.5 update, Mail shows no flagged messages anymore or behaves weirdly. If I flag a new message, it shows up but disappears again after a while, e.g. a restart. Searching for flagged messages shows no results, even though I can see hundreds of flags in my inbox behind the messages.
    I have rebuilt the mailboxes and also rebuilt the index by removing the "Envelope.*" files in user/library/mail/v2/maildata as suggested in other threads a number of times, but nothing seems to change. After each Envelope rebuild, Mail shows flags again (sometimes the correct, sometimes the wrong number, only 100 odd) and after a while they disappear again. Making a simple smart mailbox with "mail is flagged" as the only option, the smart mailbox remains empty. This has never happened before 10.9.5.
    I would appreciate a comment as to what is happening here. Seems this affects quite a few people based on the activity on this subject here and in various other Mac forums on the net, but no other solution has yet been given than rebuilding indexes, which obviously leads to no permanent fix.

    Restart the computer in safe mode. Certain caches maintained by the system will be rebuilt.
    Safe mode is much slower to start up than normal. The next normal startup may also be somewhat slow.
    When the login screen appears, restart as usual (not in safe mode) and test. There's no need to log in while in safe mode.
    Note: If FileVault is enabled, or if a firmware password is set, or if the startup volume is a software RAID, you can’t start in safe mode. In that case, ask for instructions.

  • Error Messages  not shown correctly

    Hello People,
    I do not know if I have posted this topic in the correct forum. We have developed an application for a client. Everything was working perfectly when we deployed it on the server at the client...
    However recently, they upgraded their database from version 9.2.0.1.0 to 9.2.0.8.0
    After we redeployed the application on the upgraded database, now when running the application, exceptions that we caught and handled by supplying customized error messages are no longer showing...
    An example is as follows:
    Field Name is mandatory...
    So we put it as 'required'.
    When this is not entered, our message is that 'Name should be entered'...
    But now this message is no longer showing
    Oracle Database used: 9i (9.2.0.8.0)
    Application Server: 10g AS
    Can someone please help?

    Error 500 is a very general error that implies a failure on the server side.
    Please verify that the server is running opening the XML client from SAP ME XML utilities and sending the same XML request.

    I am a consultant with experience in SOA Suite 11g, but I don't know much about OSB.
    I have a customer who is complaining that in OSB console he cannot sort by the number of messages received. There is a view with a table in the admin console webapp where you can click on the column header to sort by values in the column, the messages column which shows the number of message received seems to do some arbitrary ordering, but it is not in increasing or decreasing order. One theory the customer had is that numbers are displayed in an "American way", i.e. a thousand is written 1,000 instead of 1000. I am not sure if this is the problem, and he has checked the logs to see that the value is in fact stored as 1000. Customer's linux machine has US regional settings but customer is in non-English speaking country.
    Has anybody encountered anything like this, or does anybody have any tips on what we could try to fix this? Customer needs to be able to order by num messages.
    Location of issue is in OSB admin console, "service health" tab. OSB 11g

  • Messages not showing correctly in Nokia PC suite

    Hello,
    I'm using Windows XP SP2
    PC suite version is 7.1.40.1, English
    I use both data cable and bluetooth.
    My phone models are Nokia 2330 and Nokia 2730.
    My problem is that when I open the Nokia Communication centre in PC suite (messages), I see the following issues in the messages.
    For example, if the total number of messages in inbox is 250, in the PC suite, it is listed as a number less than 250 (e.g 242 or so). On a closer look, I discovered that a few of the messages are "mixed up" with other messages.
    For example, let's take the two messages:
    "Hello, how are you? Hope you are fine?"
    "Where are you, and when will you be coming?"
    In PC suite, the two messages sometimes are merged together as one message in a jumbled manner like this "Hello, hoWhere are you, an w are you? Hope you are fine? d when will you be coming?"
    However, they will be visible as "normal" in the phone inbox when I check in the phone screen.
    This issue happens on PC suite in both Nokia 2330 and 2730 in both inbox and sent items. I uninstalled PC suite, cleaned out my system registry and reinstalled PC suite, but the same problem occurs.
    Any ideas on why this issue is happening?

    Okay, so I emailed Nokia about this and this is what they had to say. The key is what they say in the last few lines of the email:

    5. Select "Export Messages"
    6. Nokia PC Suite will prompt for a location to save the .csv file.

  • Messages not shown correctly in HTML BODY tab in workflow notifications

    I am defining a message in teh HTML BODY section. It is a basic HTML table. If I run this in a browser , it shows up fine , i can see the table with the rows and columns. which means there is nothing wrong in the format as such.
    But on the notification page, there is no table, every thing is printed as a single line . I am not sure what the issue is , please guide. Has anyone displayed data in a table in the HTML body of a notification?

    I created an attachment by using a document type attribute . That works fine, it opens in a new window and I can see the values.
    My requirement is to display this data inline in the message body itself. It is just 3 to 4 rows of data. So I dont need an attachment. I just want to display the data in the message of the notification itself.
    This is what is causing issues , it just prints everything in one line as a string.

  • Yahoo Groups messages not rendered correctly

    Is there some issue between FF and Yahoo Groups ?? I'm a member of several Yahoo groups, one of them often sends messages with graphics in them; and lately these messages are mostly blank when I look at them in FF. If I use IE or 'Chrome' they appear to be as intended.
    (Incidentally these messages, when viewed as emails in Thunderbird, also don't work right.)

    Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
    "Clear the Cache":
    *Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
    "Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
    *Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
    Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
    *Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

  • Message - Not installed correctly unable to save or burn cd's to iTunes

    I have recently purchased a new computer wich is running Windows Vista. I followed the moving music to a new computer guides on iTunes and I can update my Ipod, play and view all my music, videos and TV shows. I am having the following problems however.
    1. When I start iTunes I get a message aying that it is not installed properly and I will be unable to load tracks from or burn to a CD. I have un and re-installed the latest ITunes and also re run the set up however I still conitinue to get the message. - Can anyone help?
    2. When I moved my libray ITunes gave me a message that it was unable to register my iPod Games. - Again can anyone help?

    Could you post your diagnostics for us please?
    In iTunes, go "Help > Run Diagnostics". Uncheck the boxes other than DVD/CD tests, as per the following screenshot:
    ... and click "Next".
    When you get through to the final screen:
    ... click the "Copy to Clipboard" button and paste the diagnostics into a reply here.

  • Text messages not restoring correctly

    Hi 
    I have a BB Curve 9300 which I back up completely (i.e.. all data) on a regular basis using the BB Desktop Software for my Mac.
    Today (11 Jan 2012) I went to restore only 'Text Message' data from a back up I did on 9th Nov 2011. 
    On completion of the restore, 12 Text Messages we're restored to my device, but the actual message content is blank. I.e.. the messages appear showing the 'Sender' and the 'Date', but the actual message content is missing. The icon for the messages is the same 'green bubble with a pen' that appears with draft messages. 
    Any ideas at all please on what has caused this issue, and how I can go about getting the content of the messages restored?

    You can extract the SMS messages from that prior backup using a PC software MagicBerry made by Menastep...

  • Messages not displaying correctly

    Hi All
    Finally took the plunge and converted to OS10, I have been using macs for years, but suited me to stay with OS9 for as long as possible.
    The problem I have is in mail, that in certain messages the text views as characters and symbols instead of a readable message.
    If I cut and paste the text to another programme and change the font the message is readable.
    If i go back to OS9 and read the message in Outlook no problem.
    Can anyone help with this.
