I am getting ORA-20001: The external account flexfield structure is invalid.

On troubleshooting the HR api's you can use the pyupip logging mechanism . This would allow you to pinpoint what stored procedure section is being executed when the error ocurred.
set serveroutput on
spool trace.log
begin
hr_utility.set_trace_options ('TRACE_DEST:DBMS_OUTPUT');
hr_utility.trace_on;
-- your code here
hr_utility.trace_off;

dbms_output.put_line(sqlerrm);

  • Linker Error while building files refering to NI-DAQ API

    We are trying to make an executable of an Application involving both of MatLab and C Files
    The file SCANsingleBufSync2.c is C program calling National Instruments NI-DAQ API's. This C program is called by displayCnt3.m,a MatLab Program. Both of the files are individually compiled using

    That works fine.
    When trying to make a build , using

    Also the Windows path has been set to the above two directories through the autoexec.bat.

    I'm not very familiar with MATLAB, but you are getting link errors most likely because you aren't linking in the .LIB files for NI-DAQ properly. They are nidaq32.lib and nidex32.lib in the NI-DAQ\lib directory. They need to be linked in with the code to resolve these symbols.

  • Sibling Link Error After Updating Software

    Ok, two days ago I updated my imac software. Afterwards, the imac started running slow and freezing (which it never does). I booted through my OS X DVD and ran disk utility, repair HD. It came up with a sibling link error: can't repair drive. Not knowing what to do, I erased my HD and reinstalled Leopard. Everything ran well until I updated my software, then the same problem. At this point I erased my HD (zero out) and reinstalled Leopard with no problems. Again, I ran software update and the same problem happened, sibling link error. So this time, I erased the HD and haven't updated the software. What should I do? Should I not run software update? It appears that the problem (sibling link error) only surfaces when I update my software.

    After installing Leopard off the disc (which is where you are at now), try running Disk Utility and using the +Repair Disk Permissions+ routine. Then, run Software Update and only select the 10.5.7 Update on the list of available updates. Run that one update only. After it is done, check to see of you have that same error. If you do not, run the other available updates. When it is all done, run +Repair Disk Permissions+ one more time.
    Note: I always run +Repair Disk Permissions+ immediately before I have Software Update install any update.
    If you still get that error after the 10.5.7 update, you can try installing Leopard from the disc again, and using the stand-alone updater for installing the 10.5.7 combo update.

  • Link error with Forte C++ Update 2 -compat=4

    We've just upgraded to the Forte 6.0 update 2 C++ compiler on

    I use the following flags when linking:
    CC -mt -g -xildoff -pto -KPIC -D_REENTRANT -compat
    -features=rtti,namespace,bool,localfor,mutable -zmuldefs
    I use -features as I also link with some libraries that use features
    of C++ not available in the 4.2 compiler. However the link
    errors are from the library that is built with the 4.2 compiler.
    Everything compiled and linked fine with Forte 6.0 Update 1.
    This is something new with the update 2 compiler.
    Any help is appreciated.

    Hi There,
    I see that youare using the compiler flag -compat
    with no value assigned.
    This means it defaults 5.0C++ compiler comatibilty mode.
    Since you mentioned in your email that you get the error message from the library built with 4.2 C++
    compiler, try -compat=4 flag.

  • Linker error in ldap api program

    I wrote a small c++ program to access sun one ldap server. I used "ldap_init()". It shows a linker error. Can you please guide me by providing what all lib files i must include during building.

    The solution is right there in your error messages. You cannot have duplicate position names - please review your data.
    For the EIT stuff, you may want to double-check the name of flexfield context. You are sending a NULL to the API (i.e. p_pei_information_category => Null). Is this really correct?

  • How do I fix a "Unsatisfied link error"?

    ProQuest provides a Java application for auto parts. It did function on my system [10.3.9 with all updates]. After logging in on a web site, a "jnlp" file is loaded to the desktop. Double clicking this file causes another download to load the auto parts database.
    But now a, JAVA error Exception reads:

    I deleted the "Depe.startekinfo.com " folder, but it reappeared after logging into their site.

    The default VISA timeout is 2 seconds, so your program is missing a byte and timing out.  You might want to log your serial port traffic to see the actual data coming through.  Portmon is a fantastic tool for debugging serial applications: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb896644.aspx

  • 'Link errors' while compiling Palm OS app using CodeWarrior

    I tried to compile the the sample application given in Oracle 9i lite MDK (Mobile Development Kit) using Codewarrior demo version 8 and it gave me a lot of link errors. Please help...I've been stuck at this point for quite some time now.

    Hi Rao,
    As Timo said, it is difficult to say the exact solution to your problem but you can try below suggestions as well.
    1. Schema check: the entity objects which you are referring might have got schema changes (lets say it is in XX_SCHMEA1 today and now they might be in XX_SCHEMA2, it happened for me in my earlier project where DBA team has moved the tables to a different schema totally). In that case, you need to edit your code to update the correct schema.
    2. Alias check: Open any of the entity for which you got error and check in the editor if it got any wrong alias name infront of it "XX_SCHEMA1.XX_TABLE_1", you can remove this alias and try again ( this happens when you modify the Configuration in AM -> Connection Type, for e.g. you converted it to "JDBC URL" from "JDBC DataSource" and in that case, you can manually delete those alias names infront of all entities because all your VOs are referring to entities without that alias (unless you refresh your vos)
    3. For entities, check the Tables as well as Synonym in case if these tables are synonym in the schema you used for your entities.
    4. Username/Password check: To do a bulk change, right click on Model project->click on "ADF Business Components"->check the connection details and see if anything got changed (like username/password). You can edit and test the connection to see if that is working or not.

    <p>the error that you are receiving is most likely due to a name resolution issue...check to see that the name of the report in your enterprise environment matches exactly with the name in the WESubmit formulae.</p><p>if you&#39;re using a december 18th version of the report (date is in the page header PH section) then the name of the report in enterprise should be webElementsBasicFunctionality</p><p>note that having a .rpt extension in the enterprise environment in this case will cause name resolution issues...i.e. webElementsBasicFunctionality.rpt is not the same as webElementsBasicFunctionality</p><p>jw</p>
