What do you mean by "but it creates two check´s and I want just one."
Have you selected one vendor and you are getting 2 checks  OR
Have you selected 2 vendors and are getting 2 check
Please clarify.

  • Outgoing payment with Payment Wizard with Bank Transfer

    Hello to everyone !!!
I'm Configuring a Company who want to use the 'Payment Wizard' to make Outgoing Bank Transfers payments with it.
I did the configuration in 'Payment Methods' of Outgoing Bank Transfers, where I chose a File Format from the list (Even I don't know which one should I choose) and I also chose de 'House bank', bank and account where the Outgoing Bank Transfers will come.
At the time when I did the payment wizard it suggest me to make an outgoing payment of my due A/P invoice very well. The problem is in the next step (STEP 7) when i run the execution and in STEP 8 it says:
    0 Payments were added
    0 Bank transfers were added
So, It did not make any bank transfer Transaction!!!! =S
Someone knows what i'm missing from the configuration???
Someone knows if this is a bug??
    Thanks for your Help!!!!

    8. Go to the destination folder and check the logfile and the bank file(s).

In F-58, you have the Payment Advise printing option.  You can make use of that.

  • Payment Wizard not selecting open AP invoices

    Hi,
I am having a problem with the payment wizard outgoing check run picking up open AP invoices.  I am using the OEC Computers test company and input an AP invoice for Far East Imports and one for Acme Associates.  Both invoices have docdates of 2/2/09 and due dates of 3/4/09.
When running the payment wizard I selected payment type of outgoing and payment means of check.  Selected due date of 3/1/09 and posting date of 1/1/09 thru 3/5/09.  At the next window I marked the "Outgoing Checks" option.  However, on step 6 (Recommendation Report) the grid is empty showing neither of my 2 AP invoices.
I checked and both vendors have the outgoing payment method of "Outgoing Checks" assigned to them.
Why aren't my open AP invoices showing up for selection in the payment wizard process?

    Hi,
Check the Tolerance days in the payment run defaults. Take the days as zero and run the payment wizard.
In 2005 version available under following path :
Banking Module > Payment Wizard > Payment Run Default > Tolerance days.
    In 2007 version :
Administration > Setup > Banking > Payment Run Defaults.

  • Problem with creation of Bank Transfer file by standard Payment Wizard

    Hello,
I am currently trying to check if the file created by the Payment Wizard is gathering the appropriate data for Bank transfer payment.
All the steps of the wizard are undergone successfully. However, no file is created or updated.
Do you have an idea of what would be related to this problem and what could be the solution ? All the bank and accounts information are in the database, so basically nothing is missing as for data.
Is the path for the file location important ?
Do I have to create the file before and with an appropriate format ?
Thank you for your help !
    Francois

    Hi,
First of all you need to verify that you have allocated a bank file format for the particular payment method. I assume that you have since you are able to successfully generate the payment run. Once you reach the last step which is step 9 of 9 where you are able to print reports carefully observe and locate the bank file icon to the bottom right of the screen. Once you click on that icon you will be able to select the output file location and need to complete the test run successfully whereafter you need to execute the production run. Once the production run has been completed the output file will have been generated.
    Regards,
    Andre

  • Payment Wizard Run does not create Payment/Check

Does anyone know possible reason/s, why payment wizard run will not create payments and checks?
The wizard goes up to Execute Step, after execution, it shows:
              0 Payments Created
              0 Checks Created
I have compared settings (Banking, BP, Payment methods) with Demo Company (Where wizard runs to create Payments and Checks)
The client is on SAP B1 2007A
    Thanks in advance for help

I've found several reasons for the Wizard not creating checks.  I don't know if any of these are relevant to you, but take a look.
    1. The vendors do not have default pay-to addresses.  They may have pay-to addresses, but if there is not one that is designated as the default for each vendor, the wizard will not select any checks for them.
    2. The vendors have a default house bank that is different than the bank you are using for the checks.  It is OK if the house bank for a vendor is blank, but it cannot be different from the bank you are using.
    3. If the vendor reference number on any AP invoice is more than 34 characters long, the wizard will not select any invoices from that vendor for payment (yes, the reference number field is 100 characters, but SAP support confirmed this limitation).  Since you are not getting selections for any vendors, this is probably not the issue in your case - but keep it in mind.
    I hope this is helpful.

  • Payment Wizard - Recommendation Report - Prints Un-Checked Lines

    Hi,
I am running the Payment Wizard and when I get to step 6 (Recommendation Report) I un-check some of the Payments. When I click the Print Preview or Print icon, it previews or prints, but it shows all of the payments that I have, including the un-checked payments. I tried to find the field / variable of the check box or any filed / variable that I could use to determine if the payment / line is checked or not and I couldn't find one. Can anyone help?
    Thanks

That rings a bell.  If this client has not yet been lived yet but it start with 2005 version, some configuration may not been correct in the first place.
You may need to restore current db to test environment to do more testing to find the real issue.
Compare to working one to find the differences.

  • Vendor Payment Advice with Manual Check Creation

    Hi Frnds.
My Company Code following Non-sequential check lots. and it is not possible for us to use sequential check lot in present business scenario.
The requirement is I need to generate the Payment Advice for the payment doucment by assigning the Check number which is manually generated.
I can't use F-58 as it is only useful when I specify a check lot with sequential number only.
    Regards

    Hi Satya
    Thankyou for the update.
Even I have tried with this but the system giving an error message saying
"You cannot print the manually created check IOBCC IOBCC LC093936"... of which IOBCC is my House Bank, IOBCC is my Account ID & LC093936 is my Chech number.
I feel that in FBZ5 the system is trying to print Payment advise along with check also... I want to know where I can disable the Check Print From and only keep active the Payment Advise form.

  • Pay an AR Credit Memo with Payment Wizard

The Customer uses to create a Bankfile for Outgoing payments, among them there are some AR Credit Notes that he has to pay to his Customers.
However with the Payment Wizard there is no way to pay the C. Notes and include them in the Bankfile.
Is there any way to create a Bankfile for Outgoing payments including AR Credit Notes?
    Best Regards, Andrea

    Dear Developers,
I had opened a message at SAP-Support, but they told me, that it is not possible at the moment. And that I should post it here on the developer forum, in order to have it implemented in some future release or patch.
    Scenario:
Our customer has lots of payments every day. They are using the payment engine to create bankfiles to send these to the bank. This works great for invoices, but not for credit memos.
It is not possible to create negative payments in payment wizard. So if you don't have another invoice (wich needs to be more expensive then the credit memo) open on this customer, you have to deselect the credit memo, and then it will not be in the bank file.
Payment wizard is based on payment methods, but you can only select outgoing payment methods on suppliers, and incoming payment methods on customers.
This is different when creating manual payment. For example in an outgoing payment, you can select "customer" and create the payment for the credit memo. But there is no possibilty to create a bank file from manual payments.
    Summary:
Our customer needs the possibilty to have credit memos in the bank files, because it the only way they communicate with the bank. Either by beeing able to select them in payment wizard (wich creats the bank files) or by beeing able to create bank files from manual payments.
    Kind regards,
    Marina Henn

  • Cannot create Payments with Payment wizard

    Hi experts!
Using the payment wizard I select the invoices to be paid by bank transfer.
Even if I list all the necessary data and run no payment will be created.
If I create them one by one by the function of outgoing payments all goes on without problem.
I looked into Non-included transactions and for my bills appears  the message:
An error occurred while writing to the results table payment, no payment. 925
Does anyone knows how can i resolve this problem?

    Mahesh,
Go to F110, Enter the run date and then click enter - After that click on edit and then proposal and proposal list and you can see all the details - which actually runs the program RFZALI20.
    Hope that helps..
