Paypal payment error - payment pending

 
Hello,
I tried placing an order for in-store pickup using Paypal. I have a mesage at PayPal about i authorized the payment, but when i got back to bestbuy.com i got this error message:
"We're sorry, we're unable to process your order with PayPal at this time. Please use another form of payment to proceed with your order."
Then i paid with credit card, but the pending authorization message at Paypal is still show up. Please find out what happened and refund the money because as i wrote i paid with credit card. Thanks in advance.

Purchasing something online should be a relatively easy and rather convenient way to get your hands on something you need. It can be a frustrating experience if we are unable to verify your payment method though, so I'm sorry to hear the funds on your PayPal account are being held despite our inability to accept it as payment for your order. 
When orders are first placed on BestBuy.com, a pending authorization should show up on your method of payment to make sure funds are available for the order until it is fulfilled. Once the order is shipped or picked up from your local store, the authorization should drop off and the collection charge should appear.  As we were unable to verify your PayPal account, the charge you mention should only be the pending authorization. This means that once PayPal realizes we aren't authorizing a collection of these funds, the hold should drop. In my experience, this typically happens within 3 to 5 business days.
If you have any further questions about this process, please feel free to let me know. As far as the charges on your account, I'd suggest reaching out to PayPal directly if the funds are released within the aforementioned time frame.

    The error you have indicated can be related to a location setting issue on your BlackBerry PlayBook.
    Please confirm the following information is set correctly:
    1. From the Home Screen, select the Settings icon (top right corner).
    2. From the Settings screen, select Language.
    3. Change the Country/Region to current country.
    4. Restart BlackBerry PlayBook
    (Shutdown/Restart - Click and hold the Power button for 2 seconds.  This will bring up a prompt with the options to Turn Off or Restart.)

  • Build payments error

    I am trying to run a cheque payment batch but the Build payments request is erroring. I have run this successfully many times a month or so ago.
    I have tried searching metalink, on OTN and googling the error but no luck.

    Hi,
    Since you were able to run this successfully earlier, i would rule out the possibility of this being a BUG...
    The second most likely cause is that, the payment document used by this payment process request is also being used in another payment process request which is in incomplete status....So, make sure there are no other payment process requests pending apart from this one ... either complete those or terminate those...
    The Third cause is that, the payment document defined would have exhausted its sequence numbers, hence you should either increase the sequence or use a different payment document which has enough number of sequences available for generating checks...
    By sequence i am referring to the number of check leafs...
    If the above does not apply, then you would be better off logging a service request with oracle, as it could be something new which many are not aware of ...

  • My payment is on pending even if I didn't complete...

    I was trying to pay for "Skype Number" service and it was stopped because of the unexpected error. Then, I can't start the payment again because the payment is on pending. I would like to cancel the payment in order to start from the first step. Or, could you just advise me if there is any way to resume my payment? Thanks for reading!

    Please would someone at Adobe do the following on their PayPal account -
    Go to Account Overview > History > Find the relevant payment > Details > Cancel Payment under ‘Cancel this eCheque payment’ > Review the information and include a message to buyer > Cancel Payment
    I tried to buy Adobe Photoshop Elements PC download this morning using Paypal but the order did not go through because I am in Jersey, Channel Islands. However, my Paypal account now has a payment to Adobe pending. Adobe need to cancel this request immediately.
    I cannot buy this product from Adobe apparently so I will not be paying them.
    Please would someone at Adobe action this immediately.

  • Is Paypal a supported Payment Method in Oracle Order Management?

    Hi there -
    Has anybody implemented Paypal as payment method for Oracle Order Management?
    We are on 11510 and looking to add Paypal as payment method apart from existing Credit Card, ACH etc.
    I found a very old (2008) note on metalink that says there is an enhancement request for this.

    Hi Stephen-
    First of all thanks for your response.
    Please note that I am not talking about using Paypal as payment processor (similar to Paymentech) but I am talking about using "Paypal" payment method for getting payments from your customers.
    As per my brief understanding, I know that Paypal too provides payment processing functionality where I can get my customer Credit Card, bank accounts etc. validated through paypal tool (I think it's call payflow pro similar to paymentech).
    Again, we are on 11510 right now so R12 functionality may not be useful for us.
    Also, we have already integrated and been using paymentech for payment processing for Credit Cards, ACH etc within 11510. There is no issue about that.

    We are trying to do a outgoing payment error. Everything seems to be allright (dates, amounts...), but when adding
    the payment the following error is appearing in red in the status bar:
    "Invalid payment to name"
    Do you know why?

    Have you changed the BP data like BP name or address since the purchase document was generated?
    Try to edit that data in the original document (like Invoice) to seeif you can use the current address at the drop down box at the Logistcs tab.

  • Outgoing Payments Error

    In SAP2005, after inputting the vendor code and all related invoices in Banking > Outgoing Payments > outgoing payments, I encountered the following error:
    'Number of documents in payment is greater than maximum allowed - Message 3524-45'.
    Where do I increase the number of documents in the settings to make it work? Thanks.

    please check the document settings of the outgoing payment under Administration -> System Initialisation -> Document Settings -> Per Document -> Outgoing Payment.
    There you can define the maximum number of documents in a payment.

    I have created a new payment term, and incorporated in customer master and created sales order . payment term is getting populated in sales order with an error "payment term is not defined". Please help to resolve.'

    There can be many possibilities for this error,  in tcode OBB8,
    - the terms of payment is not marked for customer.
    - date limits are not mention properly.
    - if the installments are not config properly
    Or
    Try it putting manually in to the sales doc.
    If problem persists, take assistance of FI team member to sort out the error.

    First try logging out oand back into the iTunes Store and see if that helps.

    Hi,
    A possible reason of the error : Payment reference number should not be empty for AP invoice 1
    may be that you have not input Supplier Ref. No for some documents(such as AP invoices)
    Supplier Ref. No is not a mandatory field for AP invoice,but it is a mandatory filed when you run the payment engine for those AP invoices.
    Please check all the AP invoices used in this payment one by one and make sure to input the Supplier Ref. No for every AP invoice.
    Check in the TEST enviorment and see if it helps.

  • Setting Up Paypal Website Payments Pro Payment Gateway

    Hello,
    My customer is using Paypal Standard and the setup was straightforward and easy.
    Now we are looking at using Paypal Website Payments Pro Payment Gateway because we want to accept paid Events Bookings.
    My two questions:
    The instructions to set up the Paypal Payment Gateway look straightforward. After I upgrade my Paypal account, I add the Username, Password, API Signature into my Business Catalyst website. Is that it? Will our shopping cart will continue to function like it has? Or are things more complicated than that? Or will I have to make other changes for the shopping cart system to work?
    There is mention of setting up Cardinal Centinel. (We are not using recurring billing). I'm not really sure what the Cardinal Centinel is all about. Is that an important part of the setup of Paypal's Payment Gateway?
    I'd like to be prepared before I start down this path.
    Any advice would be appreciated.

  • IPhone 4S not allowing PayPal as a payment method

    Hi,
    Before when I used my iPod with iTunes quite a few years ago I was given the choice to use PayPal as a payment method when purchasing apps, music and movies. Now that I have got my iPhone 4S I can't seem to be able to use PayPal anymore as its not showing up on both my iPod or iPhone. Has the PayPal method been removed from purchasing applications and such on the iTunes store?  How do I go about purchasing applications using PayPal?

    Only iTunes support can answer that question...there's no one from Apple here. I suspect has to do with what country & iTunes ability to verify the payment. Same thing has happened to some users that used Debit cards in the past, only to find they are no longer accepted.
