PC Sync couldnt refresh data in the mobile phone m...
Hi,
I have a problem with Pc Suite. Every time I try to synchronise my contcts from the mobile phone with my pc contacts when the phone arrives at 44 contacts sent it turns off and then turns on (restarts).
I don't know if there is a problem with the phone or there is a problem with PC Suit, hope you'll help me.
I'm using
Windows XP
Service pack 2
Pc Suite 6.82.27.0
The conection is via cable
Sorry about my english, i'm from Spain...
Hi Yatskan,
Hopefully I may have a suggestion that will work...
Try clicking on Start, Run and type in the following:
Regsvr32.exe %Windir%\System32\Ole32.dll and hit enter
Then try synchronising just your calendar on its own... if that works, great. If it doesn't, try adding a dummy calendar entry to your phone and then try the sync again.
Also, make sure the keypad on your phone is not locked when you do the sync or the phone will not be able to respond.
Let me know how you get on.

PC Sync could not update the data to the mobile ph...
Ok now I am a little annoyed with my Nokia 6680.
For the last four months it has been working fine but all of a sudden it has stopped synching with either of my PC's.
The phone connects ok and I can do file transfers etc however when I try to sync it fails with the message
"The Synchronisation has been Terminated!"
and
"PC Sync could not update the data to the mobile phone."
I updated PC Sync to latest version on both PC's and I have tried cable and bluetooth connections but get the same issue.
In the end I bit the bullet and re-initialised the phone and it began working again.... for three days and then its doing the same thing again. It still connects ok but no sync.
My Laptop is using WinXP SP2 and my home PC is on WinXP SP1.
Anyone able to help with this please, my phone is effectively now a paper weight and I will go back to Pocket PC phones again. Thanks for the tip I had the SAME problem on the 6822 same error. The phone had been fine for a month or so. Then nothing would synch, thought it was the PC fixed / reinstalled the software changes options nothing would work same error.
Read your note, powered down the phone and Bingo all synched fine!
Thanks very much. I'm using a Nokia 6822 -
E61 sync problem: 'Waiting for the mobile phone to...
Setup: Nokia E61 Windows XP Pro w/Service Pack 2 PC Suite 6.80.53.3 Nokia supplied cable.
The body of this has been essentially copied from two other people who've had the same problem. One's problem spontaneously disappeared while the other's was solved by removing the phone's battery for a minute. My problem was not solved by that and I throw it to the group for its collective wisdom.
I have successfully synchronised my Outlook Contacts & Calendar for over a week. Now I can't. On selecting Synchronise Now in the Nokia PC Sync dialog, the blue & green bubbles continue to rotate and the message 'Connecting to E61'continues to flash for some 5 mins. The message then changes to 'Waiting for the mobile phone to send data'. This continues for approx. 3 mins, where upon synchronisation stops and the message Synchronisation Completed appears. However, 0 entries have been updated, despite several updates to contacts. Previously, having pressed the Synchronise Now button, synchronisation would take typically less than a minute and all updates would be transferred OK. I have tried everything I can think of. Included, completely de-pairing the phone from the PC, uninstalling PC Suite, installing again from scratch and re-establishing the connection. The other functions in PC Suite seem to be fine. For example, I can use the file manager to see what's on my phone. At the bottom of the PC Suite page it says that my phone is connected via USB. At the task bar at the bottom of the Windows screen it also shows everything OK. The icon there says"Nokia PC Suite Nokia E61 conected via USB". It's only when I press the synchronize button on PC Suite that the next screen pops up and says that it's trying to connect. Any suggestions to this vexing problem?try recreating the sync settings from PC Sync, select settings - create bew settings - and run through the wizard. then sync

Application on C#.
Steps:
1. Get Report without data from the database
2. Change the dataconnections in report to the current user
3. refresh data on the report (FilePath = TempFilePath)

Is there any way to magage push data on the Q5 phone?
Is there any way to magage push data on the Q5 phone?
POP IMAP EAS
http://kb.hpwebos.com/wps/portal/kb/mobile/common/article/18838_en.html
go to settings, accounts, choose the account in question, tap on advanced on bottom, do you show server address and port 443 below it and using SSL with PUSH on? if no then you might not be using EAS (Exchange Active Sync). which usually syncs most PIM info like calendar and contacts.
if using port 25,110,587, 465, 995 you are most likely using POP/SMTP and usually require a manual sync of contacts and calendar. Some services allow CalDAV and/or CardDAV connections
if using port 143, 993 you are most likely using IMAP and some services require a CalDAV and/or CardDAV connection to sync content other than emails.
Not all version of exchange sync everything with EAS

'The mobile phone rejected the operation' Error - ...
Hi,
Using E70 via Bluetooth. Everything works for sync etc.
When I click on contacts, it gives me the error 'The mobile phone rejected the operation' and does not allow me to view my contacts.
On occasions it will show the contacts, then something 'hides' them again and will then go back and browse the 'root' directory of the phone.
Im not aware of any security settings or such. At the moment, when I try and do something the phone asks to allow the connection, I do - but still nothing.
Any ideas?
Thanksworking now - upgraded pc suite again - a few reboots - and sorted. bug in previous pc suite??

Came to the site scams that under the guise update to Safari asked to enter the mobile phone. Enter there not your phone number, asks to enter some code. From these boxes can be removed only by unloading of the ambiguity of the Safari and then quickly close the tab. But how to make these Windows do not appear at all? This same problem is observed on my iMac.

The screenshots interface in Russian, sorry.Try Settings > Safari > Clear History and Clear Cookies And Data and then close Safari via the iPad's taskbar and do a soft-reset
To close Safari : from the home screen (i.e. not with Safari 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar at the bottom of the screen, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Safari app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
A soft-reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.
When you re-open Safari it should be just a blank tab -
Me and my partner are currently using the same apple id and have no space left on our devices. We are currently waiting on the iphone 6 plus to arrive and don't know how to transfer all data to the new phones.?
I don't know if I'm asking this all in a way that can be understood? Thanks ED3K, however that part I do understand (in the link you provided!)
What I need to know is "how" I can separate or rather create another Apple ID for my son-who is currently using "my Apple ID?" If there is a way to let him keep "all" his info on his phone (eg-contacts, music, app's, etc.) without doing a "reset?') Somehow I need to go into his phone's setting-create a new Apple ID and possibly a new password so he can still use our combined iCloud & Itunes account?
Also then letting me take back my Apple ID & password, but again allowing us (my son and I) to use the same iCloud & Itunes account? Does that make more sense??? I'm sincerely trying to get this cleared up once and for all----just need guidance from someone who has a true understanding of the whole Apple iCloud/Itunes system!
Thanks again for "anyone" that can help me!!! -
My iPhone 5 has broken and is being replaced with a new iPhone tomorrow. However, My carrier (orange) will b picking up my broken iPhone and I am unsure how to secure the content and icloud data on the broken phone. Is there a way to disable the data held on it and ensure that if it is fixed, nobody can use/see my data and access my account?
Hi Gazpan,
Thanks for visiting Apple Support Communities.
I recommend using the steps in this article to back up your iPhone if possible:
iOS: Back up and restore your iOS device with iCloud or iTunes
http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1766
You may also find this advice helpful for your situation:
What to do before selling or giving away your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
http://support.apple.com/kb/ht5661
If you no longer have your iOS device
If you're using iCloud and Find My iPhone on the device, you can erase the device remotely and remove it from your account by signing in to icloud.com/find, selecting the device, and clicking Erase. When the device has been erased, click Remove from Account.
If you're unable to complete either of the above steps, you should change your Apple ID password. Changing your password won't remove any personal information that is cached on the device, but it will make sure that the new owner can't delete your information from iCloud.
Cheers,
Jeremy -
recently had to purchase a replacement phone a friend of mine had backed up the data on the lost phone to his Mac laptop how do I get that backed up data from the lost iPhone that's on his Mac laptop to my new replacement phone? Please give step by step instructions xoxoxo
And my iTunes sign in is also screwed up... It is underneath my friends email (the one with my backed up data on his Mac laptop) HOW DO I CHANGE THIS SO THAT I CAN DOWNLOAD APP's again...I suspect unless he had some items in iCloud backup then they are gone. Connecting an iPhone to a different library from that to which it was previously connected will result in the device asking if you want to erase it.
