PCR for years of service calculation in time management

Hi all,
i need to write a PCR for calculating the years of service from a date type in time management.
HRS=FYAD01 gives me the full years but i need the exact fraction.
suppose years of service is 5 years 6 months i should get 5.5 years in HRS?
can anyone please help me?

The employee should have spent 1825 days in the organization, from his DOJ.For the excess day that he has worked,He would be recieving a leave quota of 2.3 days per a time evaluation period.(Monthly)
Would you please guide me in writing a PCR for this & where do this PCr to be inserted in the Schema Exactly.

  • Infotype 552 Years of Service Calculation Error

    Good day,
    Has anybody experienced an error in IT552 when calculating years of service?  We have an associate that hired in on 04-01-1985 and retired on 12-31-2006.  The years of service calculates as 21 years 9 months and 0 days.  If I calculate this by hand it is 21 years 8 months and 31 days.  Now if I change the start date to 03-31-1985 the service is 21 9 and 1 which is correct.  If I change the begin date to 04-01-1985 or 04-02-1985 the service date still remains at 21 9 and 0.  However, if I change the start date to 04-03-1985 then the service is correct again at 21 8 and 29.  Has anyone else experienced this issue before?

  • On Going for Years: Windows 7 taskbar some times hidden with FF 7.0.1

    I've noted that this problem has gone unanswered for years. Occasionally, passing my cursor to the bottom of the monitor screen fails to reveal W7's taskbar. If I restore FF down to a smaller screen size, then the taskbar will pop up when the cursor is passed to the bottom.
    Because this is a random problem, it is very difficult to definitively determine just what causes it. But I'll say that it seems to happen when KeeFox is being manipulated in some manner. And, can be temporarily put straight by fooling around with restore/maximize...

    For those of you who are interested in this problem, it appears that it is a Window's bug dating back to Vista and has yet to be fixed by MS. This problem has also been reported with IE and Chrome, but not Maxthon (been a long time user of the latter and never had this problem). The easiest workaround appears to be clicking the Windows button to recover the taskbar. You can read about this problem on these two urls:

  • I wasted most of yesterday 2/4/15 trying to connect to no avail which was a 1st having used Mozilla for years, what's up with that?

    From morning to late evening I tried countless times to connect w/Mozilla Firefox to no avail, the issue was not w/my computer as I was able to connect to Internet Explorer. I've used Mozilla for years & this is the 1st time I've not been able to connect at all, some times it may take longer than others, but nothing like this. Today thankfully I had no problem.   • Attendance type for training in negative time management

    Hi,
    We are using negative time management. Attendance Type T-Training is created. I have specified in the integration switch PLOGI-TIME 1 and specified the attendance type in SEMIN-APART. But even when I firmly book a business event, the attendance type is not stored in the attendances of the employees who are booked to the training event.
    Is the attendance stored automatically when the business event is firmly booked in negative time management? Or this is applicable only to the Positive Time Management?

    PLOGI,,TIME,,1,,Integration switch: Training and Event Mgmt/ Time
    SEMIN     AINST     "value as maintained in Time Managment" for Attendance type for instructor in T554S
    SEMIN     APART   "value as maintained in Time Managment" for Attendance type for instructor in T554S
    SEMIN     TIMEP    According to your requirement
    kindly check the value for the above two field under
    Time Management --> Time Data recording and Administration --> Attendance/Actual Working Time --> Define Attendance Type
    and check the value maintained Trainee Attendance and Trainer Attendance. Following is maintained as default.
    01     0420     Trainee Attendance
    01     0425     Trainer Attendance

    Hi,
    Could you please provide the steps for end to end implementation on time management module in SAP HR?

    You have to create atleast the work schedule which will consist of DWS and PSW and then work scheedule rule. Also I think you will require to configure feature SCHKZ to default work schedule rule in IT0007.
    After doing this configuration you can create wagetypes related to ur time and you can pay these wage types through IT2010 ee remuneration info
    if the wt will have rate then that rate you can maintain in T510 and may be to meet the complete requirement you need to write little bit code in CATS exit.
    otherwise you will be able to pay through 2010 and you can enter the data thru CAT2 tcode. Just you need to create a profile and set the view for entering the data like single entry or mass entry.

    We have configured Privilege leaves for Client and its working fineu2026
    Requirement u2013 Where as a new joinee should avail the PL accumulated for first years only after completing on year of service.
    New Joinee is getting quota every month but now we have to restrict to avail the quota till completing of one year in Org and on the day he/she completes one year should be allowed to take them.

  • Are Cube organized materialized view with Year to Date calculated measure eligible for Query Rewrite

    Will appreciate if someone can help me with a question regarding Cube organized MV (OLAP).
    Does cube organized materialized view with calculated measures based on time series  Year to date, inception to date  eg.
    SUM(FCT_POSITION.BASE_REALIZED_PNL) OVER (HIERARCHY DIM_CALENDAR.CALENDAR BETWEEN UNBOUNDED PRECEDING AND CURRENT MEMBER WITHIN ANCESTOR AT DIMENSION LEVEL DIM_CALENDAR."YEAR")
    are eligible for query rewrites or these are considered advanced for query rewrite purposes.
    I was hoping to find an example with YTD window function on physical fact dim tables  with optimizer rewriting it to Cube Org. MV but not much success.

    I dont think this is possible.
    (My own reasoning)
    Part of the reason query rewrite works for base measures only (not calc measures in olap like ytd would be) is due to the fact that the data is staged in olap but its lineage is understandable via the olap cube mappings. That dependency/source identification is lost when we build calculated measures in olap and i think its almost impossible for optimizer to understand the finer points relating to an olap calculation defined via olap calculation (olap dml or olap expression) and also match it with the equivalent calculation using relational sql expression. The difficulty may be because both the olap ytd as well as relational ytd defined via sum() over (partition by ... order by ...) have many non-standard variations of the same calculation/definition. E.g: You can choose to use or choose not to use the option relating to IGNORE NULLs within the sql analytic function. OLAP defn may use NASKIP or NASKIP2.
    I tried to search for query rewrite solutions for Inventory stock based calculations (aggregation along time=last value along time) and see if olap cube with cube aggregation option set to "Last non-na hierarchical value" works as an alternative to relational calculation. My experience has been that its not possible. You can do it relationally or you can do it via olap but your application needs to be aware of each and make the appropriate backend sql/call. In such cases, you cannot make olap (aw/cubes/dimensions) appear magically behind the scenes to fulfill the query execution while appearing to work relationally.

    Realistically it would take an experienced application person who could do the personalizations about 3 months in an existing implementation. This would include testing, training etc. Perhaps 2 or 3 weeks for an experienced person to customize the various workflows.
    If you have never done this application before, triple the time as you figure things out.
