PD problem: missing organization units in t-code PPEM-plan for organizaion

An organizational unit do exist in organization management. If you display the structure by using PPOME you can see it. From expert mode, you can also see the relationship B002 to it's supervise organization.
But when using PPEM, it was missing. If I click "view -> other organization", I can see it. But I select it, it was unable to be carried to the PPEM screen. I select it's supervise organization, it was missing, too.

I think you've got a single-radio AP, in which case that explains why you don't have the second radio.
Can you post a Show Ver please?

If I understand you correctly, you want to create a PROGRAM to create an Organization Unit (IT1000) and it's relation to it's parent Org.Unit (IT1001 with relation A_002).
Check out program RHCOPY00, and create a Z version adapted to your needs.

Missing Organizational Unit Data in Organizational Data Sales

Hi,
when using and working with CRM transactions, I cannot put in the neccessary Organizational Data Saes according to my wishes. (every field should be filled in,)
Org. Unit, Object name, Org. unit, Sales Org. Sales Off. Sales Group, Dis. Chan., Division
VKORG001 Sales Area.. o 50000015 VKORG001 01 01
=> no data are set for Sales Office and Sales Group so far in "F4" entry
This data occur in our Org.Modell and can be choosen manually as well. BUT as soon as they are maintained, the field "Organizational Unit" is empty again and so the transaction has error again.
Any idea about?

In CRM goto tcode - SPRO - Customer Relationship Management - Master Data - Organizational Management - Assignment of Organizational Units from SAP ECC - Assign SAP CRM Sales Offices to SAP ECC Sales Offices & Assign SAP CRM Sales Groups to SAP ECC Sales Groups - To maintain Sales Office and Sales Groups.
Then goto tcode PPOMA_CRM and configure the organization model as per your requirements.

How to not use one organization unit without using tranfer org plan?

Hi Huyen,
You will have to delimit the Org Unit to a New End Date...to disallow using of this Org Unit...
To do so, Run the TCode RE_RHGRENZ4
Enter the following values in the Report:
Plan Version - 01
Object Type - O
Object ID - XXXXXXXX
Reporting Period - All
New End Date - 31.12.2009
Infotype Selection - Leave it blank as it will delimit all the Infotypes that were maintained for this Org Unit...and will delimit to the new date..
Existing End Date - 31.12.9999
Checkmark the following:
Delete records with start date after delimit date
Lock Object
Display Delimited Objects

Problem about Organization Unit and Role in BPM

Hi,
I am developing BPM project which have some roles and will be deployed for many organization. In JDev, I want to assign users to each role and organization and when the project is deployed to WorkSpace, each user in specify org can only manipulate with his task (other user can not visible). I tried configure in Jdev and WorkSpace but it is working incorrecttly
I used BPM, Jdev 11g.

1. When you add new Roles, Users to Roles etc from JDev and Deploy it, ONLY for the first time deployment, all these information is added to the Workspace and you can see it in Admin tab of workspace. You should see them in one of the tables of soainfra like BPM_CUBE_ROLE like that. The point is, after first deployment, when you add more users to the same Role, they will not be reflected in Workspace. I guess this was Designed intentionally to avoid overwriting of users with every redeployment. The only way to add more Users or Edit Users for Each Role is from the bpm/workspace application with adminstrator Role.
This makes sense also. Beacause when we develop any BPM Application, all we consider is the Roles names called as Studio Roles (or Swimlanes etc). They are just dummy and virutal Roles. We add all Tasks for each Role. Thats it. Then you Deploy them. And only in Workpace, we map these dummy studio Roles to the real Users from the Security Providers of that SOA/BPM Domain like from default seucrity provider or any external configured AD LDAP etc.
Unless there is a very strong reason, I would not recommend to add Users/Groups etc to the Studio Roles in the JDeveloper itself. Worst case, after you deploy it, if you see any discrepencies, just delete the Roles from workspace admin. Redeploy your bpm app and it will create the new Roles.

I am a self learner for SAP MM.Im haveing following problem when Im trying to do posting in MIGO T-CODE...first its was saying that posting is only allowed in 2007/02 & 2007/01..then I closed the periods in MMPV up to 12/2007 but now its saying
posting is only posible in periods 2007/12 and 2007/11 in compant code....
plz any expert can explane what is this problem & How to slove it & where....plz explane me in detail..

You please see first which period is current thru transaction MMRV.
If for example if we consider case oas on 30.09.2007 and if you are on april to march calender your current will be 5 and 6. Now you want to open period for october and close period for august. Then in transaction MMPV you have to put company code , period as 7 and fiscal year 2007.then system automatically opens period 07 ans closes 05.
Similarly If you are on january to dec calender then your current period as on 30.09.2007 will be 8 and 9. then in MMPV you have to put 10 for october.
Considering above concept you check what you have done.From your message it seems that you have open december and november.If it is a matter of study only then do your posting in 2007/11 and 2007/12.

Organization Unit Replication..

Hi All,
 we are doing upgrade srm3.0 to srm5.0.
i am facing a problem in Organization unit in srm5.0.
my question is how to replicate organization unit between two SRM systems, say for example. SRM3.0 instance is 'A' and SRM5.0 instance is 'B'.
is there any way or t.code avilable to replicate all organization unit from 'A' system to 'B' system.
generally when i create new organization in any system, transport request will not ask so i cant do by transport request, then how can we replicate organization unit between two system.
please this is very urgent one.

PPOME - Can't insert the SAME task for different organization unit

Hi all,
I have a doubt; in SAP 46C, it seems that is impossible to insert in PPOME, Detailed window, Tasks tab the same task for different organization unit. The only way to do this is in PP01 - General management, where you can explicitely create a [B-007] relations with the same "T" Object. Now, it is a little bit difficult for a user to switch from PPOME ad PP01 when defining new organizational structure.
The question: is there any way to insert the SAME task directly in PPOME, overwriting the standard behaviour of the system that by default create a new task for each new insertion?

The issue that I want to solve is that some organization unit (not all) must be flagged for an external export to another system, depending on some characteristic of each org unit. I didn't find a similar attribute on standard field, so I thought to insert a common task to all the org units to export, so that this relation can serve as the missing attribute on org unit definition.
PP01 let me insert a task (type T, and not TS) on an org unit directly, so I want to know if I'm going to break some standard behaviour of SAP if I insert a task on OU.

its navigating to organization unit only (choose relation ship)
But for production system i can assign the BP with out any issue
Can u please suggest us, do we have any settings to chose the relation ship as position...

Vijay,
There should be some relationship attached to those BP. Select any BP for which you are getting error, go to trx BP --> Open that BP --> then go to "RELATIONSHIP" tab and check. If entries there, you can delete those realtionship and try again.

CRMD_BUS2000108 - organizational unit and attributes for org. unit

Hi all!
As I'm customizing Lead creation (and in a second step lead generation)
I would like to receive tips about "selection of organizational unit and attributes for org. unit".
I expected that, by entering a BP number of a prospect or sold-to party, the organizational unit and its attributes would be displayed automatically on the tab "organization".
This is not the case. When I start the lead creation, there is a pop-up screen inviting me to choose the organizational unit. afterwards a pop-up screen for the attributes of the org unit. Only after setting a flag in both pop-ups, I see the actual "lead" transaction. When I enter a BP number, the sales assistant and sales rep are found automatically.
Could anybody please explain how to change the customizing?
I would like to see the lead transaction (create) first, enter a bp number and than have the org unit and its attributes, the sales rep and sales assistant found automatically.
Any usefull answer (would make my day ), will be rewarded.

hi
this is happening because you have not done the org data determination in your transaction,just go to SPRO and there in org data determination ,you have many standard ORGMAN rules available which you can use which will pick the data according to the user ,BPs etc.
it will enable you to first give BP and then the org data will be driven automatically from the system according to the rule in org data determination.
so first go and use rule ,try using rule ORGMAN_12
then attach this rule to the org data profile and then add this org data profile to the transaction in basic settings in transaction where you have defined your lead transaction.
it will solve your purpose

Usage of Department/Staff switch in Organizational Unit

Just would like to know the detail usage of the Department/Staff switch for the Organizational Unit. Currently neither the Department nor the Staff switch is selected for all the organizational units created. What would be the effect and impact if I set the Department switch for the organizational unit?

Hi Francis,
A staff flag does not have to be marked as such. It does, however, influence the presentation of positions and organizational units in the graphic. Positions or organizational units marked with a staff flag are shown in the graphic next to their respective superior nodes. Without a staff flag they are shown under the superior node.
As for the department,marking an org unit is optional and relates to integration.
If integration with Payroll Accounting is active, certain records are written from Personnel Management to Master Data. If you flag organizational units as departments, only the marked units are written to Master Data.
Marking units as departments makes sense when your organizational structure includes organizational units that are not actual departments (for example, a special project team).
NOTE: In order for the department marks to be recognized, you must also make adjustments in Customizing.
Department Switch in T77S0 (PPABT PPABT):
    o   0 = causes the organizational unit directly above a position     to
        be read
    o   1 = causes the organizational unit with a department flag
        (infotype 1003 "Department/Staff") above a position to be read

Positions under Organizational Units.

Dear All,
I need to maintain a Ceiling for Organizational Units with respect to Positions.
For example :
There is a Org Unit - HR Dept , and it has a restricition of 25 positions.
So when i try to create a 26th position under this Org Unit ,it should show me "Error Message".
I have tried with Quota Planning, which is totally different concept from the above case.
Does SAP provides such option to restrict Positions under a OrgUnit..? If Yes, Pls Suggest me ...!!

Do not know of any way to limit the number of Positions per Organizational Unit. Not sure how or where you would even keep the numbers so that one org unit could have 25 positions and another org unit 40 and another org unit only 10.
What you want to control is the number of Persons - employees. They cost you money, positions do not. This is controlled by the number of Positions available - one Person per Position. If you have control of your Organizational Structure maintenance, then you control the number of Positions you create for each Organization.

I did a search on this error code (c0000005) and there seems to be a workaround but no solutions, why is this? I ask that because this problem seems to be years and years old, going back to at least 2005 (do the math that is 10 years).
I don't even have the Camera hooked up and I get this error on download. I redownloaded everything and reinstalled. I allso saw the AVI issues reported with this proble so i updated Quicktime though without the camera being hooked up when I get this error I didn't expect that to work. I tried support and they wouldn't help because I bought it in March this year. Pretty frustrating as I have re-purchased Elements about every 2 years. I think I might need a new CODEC? I had this problem on an Earlier version And I seem to remember that being the Fix but this may be something completely different

I finally found that it was missing a picture so the Catalog was "corrupted". I just deleted the picture and it started working.
I hate Adobe and their total lack of support - thanks for nothing Adobe . Also get this - they offered me to upgrade to 13.0 ( My 12.0 is only 6 months old but they still don't support it on errors. Only install errors!

I want to create a new Organizational Unit code for a rollout project.
For Example, the current company organization unit say 500000000 - Pepsi Corporation Limited and now I need to create a new company code and for that company code I need the Organizational Unit as 6000000 - India Beverages.

First check whether u are maintaining number ranges if yes then create new no. ranges for org unit and proceed with creating.
ask fi/co people to create company code and then you can assign credentials as per your requirement.
