PD Read Infotype Record - BEGDA/ENDDA format issue

Hi experts,
I'm calling IF_HRBAS_PLAIN_INFOTYPE~READ method in my business object class in an attempt to read a custom infotype on a postion:
When debugging or consuming this method from my main model class, the format of the dates in the returned table (lt_hrp9500) are as follows:
The dates are correctly formatted in the standard code until:
If I were to manually select the records from the tables it would appear normally.
Is there some form of conversion needed, a bug or user error?
Can anyone suggest a better interface to utilse for PD infotype actions?

Looks like you have wrongly defined <pnnnn> or <ls_hrtnnnn>. When you assign, the date field is spread across several columns.
Also, try if_hrbas_read_infotype instead.

I tried using the sevaral calsses passing one class type to other. finally i get is the class cl_hrpa_infotype_0008_in.
can any one suggest how i should be reading the data for any infotype.
Pls do not suggest the function module HR_READ_INFOTYPE. I want to use these classes to read the data.

Adding read infotype records to payroll

Dear ,
i 've used the code mentioned in this link to read the infotype records .
Use SAP defined methods instead of Logical Database(LDB)
now i want to add this record to the tree in the payroll . could u plz tell me how to add it to a node in the additional payment tree node.

Hi,
1. Create new payroll function code in payroll driver exist. Starts with FU<custom name>.
2. Create new function via PE04 with custome name.
3. Add custom function to payroll schema.
Custom name should start with special character, e.g. %, &, :, etc.
User exit is special for every country driver, check payroll driver program and figure out its name.

What DVD formats can read iMac recorded DVDs?

Hello All,
I have a new intel based 20 inch iMac. When I record a video to a DVD with my iMac I'm I safe in assuming that everyone I send it to will be able to view it on their players? Is there a list someone that lists the formats that will read iMac recorded DVDs? Are they universal?

If you are talking about DVD video format (i.e. using iDVD)...
It's not so much a function of the Mac, or the DVD recorder as much as what media you use. Most recent DVD players should be able to handle just about anything, but some older ones don't handle all formats well. For instance, some may like +R disks, and others may like -R disks. Others may not like RW disks. Some very old players may not properly play any burned media.
If there's one or two particular models you are going to be using to play your disks, visit their company's website and read the specs for that drive. You can usually get user manuals for the older drives. If you can't find any specs, then you will have to experiment with different media, testing them in your target players.

HR_INFOTYPE_OPERATION - Need help w/Deleting infotype records

Hello all,
We have an issue where infotype records got created where the ENDDA is less than the BEGDA (ENDDA = 06/30/2006 and BEGDA = 07/01/2006). We are trying to delete these using HR_INFOTYPE_OPERATION but we are getting message PG-009 (No data stored for 9001 in the selected period) returned in our tests.
BTW, 9001 is one of our customer infotypes.
I know I can remove these records using a direct SQL statement, but I would prefer to remove them more gracefully if possible. Is there a way around this error? I actually think function module HR_READ_INFOTYPE is raising the error.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

You can check report RHRHDC00, I think it can help you with custom infotype too.
Otherwise you might need to delete the records forcefully using DELETE statement, which is not suggested since all the standard FM consider BEGDA and ENDDA and in your case they will always return blank.

RP-READ-INFOTYPE

Hi ,
i need to delete all the records with subty X1 for infotype p0019 . I should n't use the logical database instead i am using macro RP-READ-INFOTYPE to retrieve the valid data but here in case of P0019 the begda and endda of a record will be same and i need to delete the records even if they are in past . But the macro RP-READ-INFOTYPE is not going to work in this case as it checks against dates and the records are in past so it will not retrieve any data . So any thoughts on how to get the data for P0019 with subty X1 without using the logical database PNP.

Use HR_READ_INFOTYPE FM to retreive the desired result.........
Pass begda 01/01/1800 endda = '12/31/9999' and subtype you want.......
Not your infotype table will fill with all the data now you manipulate as you desired

when i use 'MOD' operation in FM 'HR_INFOTYPE_OPERATION' that FM runs perfectly.it changes the enddate to delimit date in the table PA0167.
But, when i use 'LIS9' (delimiting) operation FM is throwing following error message
"E PG 428 A complex application error has occurred".
I need help regarding this error statement.can i use 'MOD' operation to delimit the records (time constraint of most of the infotype record to be delimited is 2).In which case we use 'LIS9'??
Also any SAP function modules for delimiting IT2006 infotypes????

For 167 & 168 have you looked at HR_BEN_TERMINATE_HEALTH_PLAN & HR_BEN_TERMINATE_INSURE_PLAN?
The error message you got is actually mapped to (00)344 ie "No batch input data for screen & &"
For the delimit operation, you probably,need to pass the delimit date separately..
I have a feeling this function call cannot be used for the delimit operation le 'LIS9'.AS the delimit date is usually entered on a pop-up box when you do it via PA30.

Problem in creating 0027 infotype record in background

Hi Experts,
I am facing the problem in creating 27(Costs distribution) infotype record in back ground.
Whenever there is a change in position of the employee or when we hire a new employee (Through PA40)
i have to ctreate 0027 infotype record in background.For that i am using IN_UPDATE method of BADI
HRPAD00INFTY.
Here i am getting 2 problems.
1. I am unable to get the latest positions that is assigned to the employee.
Through NEW_IM AGE structure we can get the latest position but if a person is assigned to multiple positions for the same period then i am getting only one position from NEW_IM AGE but not all.can any body help me?
2. I am calling HR_INFOTYPE_OPERATION FM to create the IT0027 record in background in the above method (IN_UPDATE). but it is not updating the PA0027 table. any idea?

XSU: Reading each record at a time

I am using XSU12 to retrieve database contents in XML format. I am passing the Connection and ResultSet objects to create OracleXMLQuery object. I want to read each record at a time and so setting the maxRows to 1 and then getting the xmlstring.

xmlString = qry.getXMLString();
I keep this in a loop and read each record at a time. The problem is whenever getXMLString() method is called, the application is hitting the database, which will be a performance issue.
Is there any way to read contents of a table at once and then loop each record at a time without hitting the DB everytime?

Friends i'm writing a report. Which give employees qualification and desired and assessed profeciencies. I'm unable to read infotype 0025. Data is there, but pa0025 table is showing empty status.

Custom Domain Causing site formatting issues

I have designed my site in Adobe Muse. It was working perfectly with the BC trial domain: sarahruby2014.businesscatalyst.com
I have added my custom domain: www.sarahrubydesign.com
When you view the site with the custom domain, the formatting on several pages, including the home page is messed up. However, the formatting remains pristine when sarahruby2014.businesscatalyst.com is used.
To add the custom domain, I had to delete it from a legacy website, which I did.
Then I went into my GoDaddy records (via Google, since I registered my domain through Google). I changed the name servers:

I have no doubt there's something I missed.

I was actually able to fix the majority of the formatting issues by republishing the site from Muse and selecting "upload all files" option (instead of "upload only modified files").
The only place I'm now having issues is on the BC backend. Everything with stylesheets on the backend (news module, login block) and the url for the blog have still not updated.
I suppose I should wait that out a little longer to see if it all updates.

Crystal for VS 2010 - formatting issues in viewer (extra space) again

We're having the same problem as the one in this thread link:[Crystal 2008 for VS 2010 - Report formatting issues in viewer (extra space);. There's no resolution in the thread and it's been closed. I'm hoping that creating a new thread may cause someone to answer this problem.
We have a Windows App that we just converted to .NET 4.0 and updated the viewer to the Crystal Reports Viewer in VS 2010. When we open a report that has a large block of static text in paragraphs left-aligned the spacing around punctuation is awful - there's almost a tab's worth of space between the last letter and the period. U.S. looks like US. This happens both with reports that were created in VS2008 and ones that were created in VS2010. It is only a problem in the viewer's display - if we print to a printer or export to PDF the spacing around punctuation is fine. It's also not a problem on our development workstations which are running Windows 7, but is a problem on our test servers which are running Windows 2003 Server. I ran the modules tool and found that the version of usp10.dll does match what the previous thread said it should be and it's coming from the c:\program files\sap businessobjects\crystal reports for .net framework 4.0\common\sap businessobjects enterprise xi 4.0\win32_x86\ folder. On my development machine when I run the modules tool I notice that a second instance of usp10.dll is called which is the version installed with Windows 7. We've tried changing fonts but none of the ones we've tried (originally in Times New Roman, 12, tried Arial, Times and various sizes) have made a difference. We also tried changing the print options with no improvement. The only thing that makes it slightly better is full-alignment but our customer insists that it be left-aligned.

Re. the other thread. I never did receive a sample of the report to test with. Perhaps I can get one from you? I need you to ensure that the issue occurs with a "saved data" report. If it does, let me know if you can share it and I'll contact you via email. My comment in the other thread re. available time, priorities, etc., still applies. Also, just to be clear. Service Pack 2 for CRVS2010 is closed now. Thus if I am able to reproduce the issue the fix will be targeted for October \ November time frame - no guarantees though...
