Read infotype records using the classes

Hi All,
In my system i can see many classes with cl_hrpa*
Here i want to read a infotype record using these classes. I want finally the data in PA0008 or a record in P0008 format.
i tried using the various classes like
cl_hrpa_masterdata_factory
if_hrpa_infty_bl
hrpad_infty_container_tab
I tried using the sevaral calsses passing one class type to other. finally i get is the class cl_hrpa_infotype_0008_in.
can any one suggest how i should be reading the data for any infotype.
Pls do not suggest the function module HR_READ_INFOTYPE. I want to use these classes to read the data.

Hi Madhuri
The macro rp-provide-from-last p0001 will not fetch data from the database, it simply extracts the last record from the available internal table P0001[] for the time frame provided(as 3rd and 4th parameters). You can check the definition of the macro from the database table TRMAC, it simply uses the LOOP....ENDLOOP and IF conditions to arrive at the last record and populates the fields pnp-sw-found, pnp-sw-tabix.
    And coming to your problem, please check all the IT0001 records of the EE concerned, it can happen that the EE is attached to different employee subgroups in different time frames and hence the LDB is fetching all the available records of the EE (even if the employee subgroup is not among the one's selected in the selection screen). If this is the case, I reckon, u've to perform manual check before appending to the internal table.
Note: The macro rp-provide-from-last p0001 space sydatum sydatum will only fetch the valid IT0001record as on date - sy-datum

Identifing duplicate master data records using the MDM Import Manager

hi all
I read the Topis "How to identify duplicate master data records using the MDM Import Manager"
i tried to create import maps and to set rules. but when i import them it creates the new vendor records for each rule with rest of the fields blank.
when i import vendor data all the three fields i.e Match rate , match type and match group are blank.
My Question is :
I am getting vendor data from SAP R/3.
In which source (in lookup xml file or data xml file) do i have to include these above three fields and how all the rules will be reflected in repository?

Here we go when do you Import any data (vendor master) please follow the following steps;
1. First of all apply the map to the source data
2. In the Match Record tab there are 3 possiblities
 a.[Remote Key] : Checks the current source rec with
 repository along with all the fields - This is
 default
 b.Remove [Remote key] - by double click the same; and
 choose any single fields like Vendor Number or
 name - Then the current record will be matched
 with the repository based on the field.
 c.Instead of single field you can choose combination
 also.
3. Based on the Match results, match class will be set
 automatically;
 a. None
 b. Single
 c. Multiple
4. Then Match Type
 a.Exact-All the individual value matches are Equal.
 b.Partial-At least one value match is Equal and at least one Undefined; no value matches are Not Equal.
 c.Conflict-At least one value match is Equal and at least one value match is Not Equal.
5. then chek the Import status and Execute the import.

Deletion HR - Infotype records using BAPI

Hi experts,
I sucessfully added infotype crecords in HR-ABAP using function module HR_INFOTYPE_OPERATION. For deleting the same record using the same function module (operation = 'DEL'), i got error message as 009No data stored for 0008 in the selected period. What is the problem...?

How to import .jar files in order to use the classes within this file

hello guys,
I'm just wondering how can i import .jar files in order to uses the classes within this file.
let's take an example:
i have a folder in which I have many .jar files which contain classes to be called. the full path of this folder is set in the Classpath inside the enviroment variables.
so does anyone have any idea how can i import these .jar files so i can use the classes?

My problem is that: I created a Serializable class in a project. And I added this project (first project) to another project (second project). First project is appearing in the second project' s Libraries folder. No problem. I want to create a jar file from second project. i.e. I want to Build second project (I use NetBeans IDE). I am using Build Main Project tab under Run. It is falling out. I am finding it second project' s jar file under its folder. I am clicking on it. But it is NOT WORKING. Do you know WHY. Could you help me please?

ALV Tree list output using the Class and method

Hi,
How to get the internal table values of ALV Tree List in classes.
My requirement is i need to store the output values in Ztable of a SAP Transaction of CK86_99.
for this, i copied the SAP Standard Transaction into Z tcode and i am trying to poplulate the output display into Ztable. But this standard tcode CK86_99 is using the classes of ALV tree list to display output.
CL_STRUCTURE_EXPLOSION_TREE -- Class
CONSTRUCTOR - method
Finally in the above mentioned method, i am able to see the output values of ALV tree list in the internal table of mt_output_table.
But these are SAP Standard Class and method.
My doubt is, How to get these internal table values in my Zprogram.
is there any user exit or badi can we use in the method of class???? Actually my system is 4.6C
Please suggest me on this problem.

First your getInstance() method returns 'singleton' which you havent declared/init anywhere.
your getAll() method needs to be static if you need to call it the way you are doing.
In your getAll() method u are passing a parameter called patientRecord ... where have you declared/init it.
i think you have to do something like this ... if i have understood you correctly.

Nasty feedback when trying to record using the internal mic

I get nasty feedback when trying to record using the internal mic on my macbook. I'm running Maverick. Why is this happening?

Note: there may be other issues involved, but without further details I can only suggest that using headphones is the best way to accurately hear what you're recording, adjust gain levels, and avoid feedback. So this should be the first thing to try as you troubleshoot.

Now the strange thing is that all this works perfectly well in the simulator: I can record and play at the same time but on the device, the callback for recording is not ran (I check by trying to print something in the log in the callback function.) which men no writing in the file and an empty file in the end.
Any one has any idea of what could be causing this?

Just in case some one might need it, I solved my problem:
I simply needed to initialize the AudioSession before playing/recording. I did so with the following code:

My hp dm3-3027cl card reader can not recognize the class 10 sdhc card. I downloaded and installed the card reader driver from HP web site for this dm3-3027cl, but still have same problem. There isn't a problem on class 6 SDHC card. It seems some other computers have the same problem on reading the class 10 SDHC card. My toshiba e105 laptop has no probblem to read class 10 SDHC card.

It is not possible to deactivate the CHANGE option in themenu bar using the method disable_functions of cass CL_CTMENU. This method allows you to deactivate only the function codes of the CONTEXT MENU, which is available only when u press the left mouse button.
U can use the SET PF-STATUS 'XXX' EXCLUDING fcodes option to disable the CHANGE.

Making system to use the latest Infotype Record for the Current Period

Hello,
I would like to know how the system behave if there is a record modified in the middle of the Pay Period, which record would the PY schema use? Ex: in IT0009 EE has selected multiple Bank Transfer. He say 100$ Bank 1 and Rest to Bank 2. In the middle if the Pay period, the EE comes and makes changes to his Bank Transfer, as he closed the account in Bank1, he creates new Bank and transfers 100$. Now when the PY run, it think both Banks (Bank1 prev and Bank 1 current ) are valid and tries to send 100$ to each back and sends rest to Bank2. Which is not correct. This issue happens when someone changes their record in the middle of the period. So It is assumed to change the process to not to change in the middle of the period. It has to be effecting of 1st of next period.
But I want to check is there anyway we can make the system to use the latest one if it finds multiple record for the same period?
any suggestion please.

This system actually delimits the previous record but since the change is happened in the middle of the period, but record are considered as active.
For Ex: The Pay Period is 01/01/2009 to 01/15/2009 and There was a record for Bank1 for that period and user comes and creates a new record on 01/05/2009 for Bank1. Now for this payperiod since its with the period both records are becoming active. So system uses both the records and deducts. Hope you get what I'm saying.

Use SAP defined methods instead of Logical Database(LDB)
now i want to add this record to the tree in the payroll . could u plz tell me how to add it to a node in the additional payment tree node.

Hi,
1. Create new payroll function code in payroll driver exist. Starts with FU<custom name>.
2. Create new function via PE04 with custome name.
3. Add custom function to payroll schema.
Custom name should start with special character, e.g. %, &, :, etc.
User exit is special for every country driver, check payroll driver program and figure out its name.

PD Read Infotype Record - BEGDA/ENDDA format issue

I'm calling IF_HRBAS_PLAIN_INFOTYPE~READ method in my business object class in an attempt to read a custom infotype on a postion:
When debugging or consuming this method from my main model class, the format of the dates in the returned table (lt_hrp9500) are as follows:
The dates are correctly formatted in the standard code until:
If I were to manually select the records from the tables it would appear normally.
Is there some form of conversion needed, a bug or user error?
Can anyone suggest a better interface to utilse for PD infotype actions?

Looks like you have wrongly defined <pnnnn> or <ls_hrtnnnn>. When you assign, the date field is spread across several columns.
Also, try if_hrbas_read_infotype instead.

Unable to search for first record using the Preview tree

Users are unable to search for the first record in the Preview tab's tree. The reason for this is because the first record is within the first page header of the report. My guess is that, by design, Crystal takes the end user to whatever the first instance of the record iseven if that first record is in a page header. That's not "good". I want the user to be taken to the first record within the details of the reportnot within the page header.
I have suppressed the page header to not print on the first record by using OnFirstRecord. But, I still get the same issue where end users cannot select the first record in the tree without being taken to the page header. Very strange.
Can anybody think of any other ideas?

Thank you Dave Merchant and try67 for your responses. As per my previous post, I contacted the company re the catalogue and they have responded favourably. I'll include their response because it gives the reason for the search failure as document compression which you might find interesting. I'll await their new catalogue and see if they have fixed the problem.

Thank you very much for your input. And yes, you are correct, the compression we used for the current catalogue's PDF format does strip out text included in the catalogue. We used the compression settings we did with the intention of minimising download time, however I take your point about including text for search purposes (which I also utilise when I'm scanning through PDFs).
We will actually be posting out our new catalogue next week and we'll release the new PDF version on the website at the same time. I've asked our graphic designer to ensure that the PDF we use for the new catalogue includes searchable text.
