PDF document not open and SAP logon closed by CV04N,

Hello,
When I try to open the PDF document by transaction CV03N/CV04N, it's crash the SAP login.
Please give anybody solution for this issue to fix

is it the same with CV03 as well?
Is it the same crash using Display Document WebUI? (if you have EhP5+)
You can uninstall your Adobe Reader from your computer and download the latest version from here:
https://get.adobe.com/hu/reader/
Which SAP Logon version do you have? You may have to upgrade it too.

Adobe acknowledges problem with the latest Snow Leopard update 10.6.8 and with this work around, I can open PDF's using the Google Chrome Browser.
Is this the ideal solution---NO. Safari is my main browser. I now have to use a separate browser for PDF's.

You can't believe the time I spent to solve this problem before calling Adobe for help. My Apple Care policy expired a month ago . As I use Photoshop Elements, I was not charged by Adobe for their help on the telephone.

you may want to search under "PDF" in the Nokia Store, as some solutions such as Picsel Smart Office exist, where they do open password-protected PDF's.

Document not opening in /sap/bc/contentserver

I am having this issue when i try to to to open the document which i stored "/sap/bc/contentserver" , it takes me to a webpage.
here is the detail.
1. Able to check in the Document
2. Initially when i clicked the document i was getting this error "/sap/bc/contentserver not active" . I fixed the issue by following this note "685521 - Logon data for /sap/bc/contentserver service" .
3. Now when i click on the file , it take me to a webpage

You can't find the file on the OS since that directory is part of the ICM you just activated.

I would use the GTS configuration guide available with the installation media.

PDF documents not opening in Mozilla at all, PDF option is not there under the options tab applications

Firefox has automatically been "asking me" if I want to save the pdf document instead of showing them in the browser. I have update 22. I have tried to look for the pdf options under the options>applications settings and it doesn't even show up! Is this because I updated? I updated on July 4th and didn't need a pdf until now and this problem showed up. Before, I did not have this problem. PDFs were opening on the browser and I had that pdf option under the application's list.
So I don't know what to do since I don't even have that option on here. What should I do?

Yes, I have Adobe Reader installed and that's my preffered option. I have recently and manually uninstalled Adobe reader,Reinstalled it again, restarted my computer, and I am still having the same problem. I cannot see the option to preview the pdfs in firefox using adobe. It either uses the the Firefox pdf reader Zeon? or the other option is to Always ask me to download it to my desktop.
I have attached what I see, maybe you can help me based on that. It seems the plugins work well (Figure 2) but only the pdf plugin for adobe to be previewed in firefox is missing (Figure1).
Also, I attempted to re-initialize the plugin database but it still gives me the same option as always.

No, if I set it to "true" then the pdf option under applications disappears. So I have kept it as false. (Figure 3 shows that it goes missing, not the same as in Figure 1)

In my BSP application a PDF document opens on a button click. However, the PDF seems to work on some machines and not on others. This is mainly in production.
Can you please provide any suggestion for why it is behaving as such?

My initial thought would be that the pdf extension (I hope that you provide the pdf extension, MIE needs it) isn't linked to AR.
Check http://www.microsoft.com/resources/documentation/windows/xp/all/proddocs/en-us/win_fcab_reg_filetype.mspx for this.
If you have eg Mozilla, check this http://www.mozilla.org/docs/end-user/helper-applications.html
If that's not the case, I would add this in your BSP page that generates the PDF:

Adobe Reader XL and PDF Documents not opening EULA

I have successfully loaded Adobe reader xl several times now and each time I try to open a pdf I get this prompt that says must accept EULA. I can't find a EULA and am so frustrated. I have a MAC. How can I fix this?

You need to open Reader by itself (not in a browser), then accept the license agreement.

PDF documents not opening in Outlook 2010

I have a problem AFTER doing an update from ADOBE...I can't open a PDF that is attached to an e-mail. I can open it when OUTSIDE of Outlook. I have sent attachments to clients only to have them say there is NO attachment or they cannot open it. I have had a similar issue 6 months ago and had to revert back to the one that worked. I thought "OK" try again maybe in that 6 months they "FIXED" it...Nope! How do I fix this?????

trying open numbers docs, told need newer version to open them, go to apps search for updates and none exist, *** Apple??? please tell me how to commence and open my business docs to do my work?

This is confusing to a lot of people. When you downloaded the new version of Numbers (this would have happened automatically unless you turned off 'Install app updates' in System Preferences > App Store) the old version remained on your Mac. The new version is in Applications. The old version is in a subfolder within Applications. The icons look similar so it's easy to think you're trying to open a document with the new version whereas in fact the old version has been activated and is trying to open it.
If you tend to open documents from Finder then right-click and Open With ... Numbers.app (3.0).
Or you can open Numbers 3.0 (the one in the Applications folder, not the iWork '09 subfolder) and open the document from there.
Any icons you had on the Dock before the upgrade are of course still pointing to the old version.

.PDFs do not open and Reader XI itself does not open either

I can see an instance of AcroRD32.exe in the Process list in Windows Task Manager and the Mem Usage keeps increasing, but nothing ever displays. Running XP.
Reading through other posts, the common remedy was to repair in Control Panel. Tried that. Also completely uninstalled Reader, then ran another Adobe clean-up program in case fragments remained, then reinstalled. Still nothing.
I'm pretty sure that this problem began when I installed Reader XI.

Found a post by Pat Willener (sp) replying to someone else with a similar issue. The following suggestions were made:
"Regarding your problem, three things to try...
Using Windows Explorer navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Reader 11.0\Reader, then double-click on Eula.exe and accept the license agreement
Can you open Adobe Reader by itself? If so, try disabling Protected Mode [Edit | Preferences | Security (Enhanced)].
It could even be a malware issue; see http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/reader-core-dll-error.html
I followed #1 and accepted the EULA. No change.
I cannot open Reader by itself.
Already followed the steps in #3.
Still trying to patiently wait for someone with some more insight. Thanks.

Viewing PDF documents on iphone and ipad

Hey, I just ran across something that makes no since to me so maybe some of you have ran across it before.
My son-in-law just sent me a PDF document that opens and is filled out completely but on his iphone and ipad it shows up as a blank document
I resent him the form that I can read but when he opens it the form is blank. If he selects quick look the form fills out and can be view. I would believe it has to be a setting because the form can be viewed on both my iphone and my daughter's iphone, but not on his.
The form was emailed.
He and I are using a iphone 5 and my daughter is using an iphone 6,
When the same email is viewed on the ipads it shows up as a blank document until you select Quickview then the form fills in and can be viewed.
I would believe it to be some setting but I can find nothing that is different on his phone than mine.
Any suggestions.

If he can read the form when he selects Quicklook, that's a new one on me. That has never, ever worked for me. Form fields have never been visible as attachments in the built in Mail app on any iOS device that I have ever owned. he needs to download a real PDF reader app in order to view, edit, sign, etc. form fields. Tell him to download Adobe Reader which is free and it gives him all of that functionality. Other pdf apps will do the same things, but Adobe Reader is free.
it's tough to beat free and functional.

Automator application: Rtf's converted from pdf's do not open and word files from same rtf's are blank--???

I found directions for converting pdf's to word documents to facilitate editting. The process used Automator by selecting
pdf's to be converted to rtf's. The resulting rtf file could then be saved as a word document. The problem is that the resulting
rtf's do not open and the saved word document opens blank. What's the problem and the solution?

mns579 is correct, but it is even more complex than that. To put it bluntly, the only thing a PDF is guaranteed to do is print. There is no guarantee that any PDF will convert into any format other than an image (for printing). Some PDFs are composed of actual text or vector data and those are nice to work with, but not commonly encountered. In fact, pretty much the only time you are likely to have a PDF in a format that can be easily converted is when you have the document in some other original format from which you made the PDF. And, if you have said original format, why do you need PDF?

Yes I can it only happens in the browser..
I reinstalled Windows on my machine and started over a couple of weeks ago.
When my desktop started up I didn’t have Acrobat installed and clicked on a pdf file and the open with xxx dialogue box came open.
I chose a different program as Acrobat wasn’t installed yet so it associated pdf files with another program.
Later Installed Acrobat and couldn’t associate the pdf file with acrobat so I went into Folder Options and manually associated PDF files with Acrobat.
Ever since then I get the error when something is downloaded and opened in the browser.
Works fine everywhere else and when I cancel the blank error, highlight the web address and press enter to reload it works 90% of the time.
Not sure what to do..
