Peoplesoft Enterprise Program Management Download
Hi,
I'm looking at assessing the Program Management application from Peoplesoft, but I can't seem to find the download anywhere.
I am assuming its like normal Oracle downloads in the sense that you can trial the software. Are there specific downloads for this?
Could anyone point me towards any other requirements for the application, such as Oracle 10G database and if it comes with example projects built in.
Many thanks for any assistance
K
;)
Program ManagementProgram Management is a part of FSCM application. As previously suggested, you can find all the downloadable software on http://edelivery.oracle.com
Download from there all the required components (Tuxedo, Weblogic/Websphere, PeopleTools, FSCM application), install them, and build a DMO database to get samples.
Of course, you'll need a database software previously installed.
Nicolas.

Question - PeopleSoft Enterprise Maintenance Management
What PeopleSoft modules have to be installed prior to installing PeopleSoft Enterprise Maintenance Management?
Thank you Nicolas. Do you know what PeopleSoft modules have to be running before a customer can implement this product? Someone had mentioned that General Ledger has to be installed before Maintenance Management and I wanted to verify if that was true.

Anyone using Peoplesoft Enterprise Learning (LMS)?
Hi everyone,
My organization is currently considering Peoplesoft Enterprise Learning Management (aka Peoplesoft LMS). Could anyone who has used/currently uses it please share their experiences with me?
Any feedback on PS LMS would be appreciated - and it would be great to a demo if possible.
Thanks,
Eric Benson
e-Learning Business AnalystHaving our own LMS, we do not use the Peoplesoft one, but we have a client that I'm pretty sure does. They've referred to it as the Peoplesoft LMS and the Oracle LMS...but pretty sure it's one in the same (as Oracle bought Peoplesoft months ago, right?)
The biggest issue we've heard about it is no Interaction-level tracking support. Now I don't know what version they have but not being able to track interaction data was a big disappointment to them. They hired a contractor to customize and add such functionality and it works, mostly, but has some flaws...and, of course, if they ever update their LMS, likely that customization will be blown away.
Otherwise, the only other complaint I heard was the cost and time of integration with their other systems (whatever those may be - HR and such, I imagine). It wasn't cheap or quick.
I'd like to balance this out but I've not heard any positive comments on it, other than it does integrate with their HR system.

Oracle PeopleSoft Enterprise Manager Plugin Installation on oem grid control 12c facing error
Hi Friends,
I am planning to monitor Peoplesoft 8.52 HRMS application through oem 12c grid control. First I have installed 12c grid control successfully. Followed by I am installing the Oracle PeopleSoft Enterprise Manager Plugin in 12c oem repository containing 11g database. I am facing configuration assistant error message as below
OUI-25031 some of configuration assistance failed.
Configuration assistant "PeopleSoft Environment Management Repository Plug-in" failed
The "/u01/oracle/cloudcontrol/middleware/oms/cfgtoollogs/configToolFailedCommands" script contains all commands that failed, were skipped or were cancelled. This file may be used to run these configuration assistants outside of OUI. Note that you may have to update this script with passwords (if any) before executing the same.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Please assist me how shall I proceed further...
Regards,
Rajesh PachiyappanHi,
I just came across the same problem.
In my case, I hit this issue while trying to reinstall Oracle EMCC 12g.
Since previous installation failed, I decided to start from the beginning again but I am now hitting this.
Before trying to reinstal, I dropped SYSMAN and a few other users created on the provided DB.
Did you solve this issue?
I believe I may have not "clean up" the database properly. Which would be the right way of wiping out the DB without actually rebuild it again?
Thanks

We are developing an iOS and complementary Mac OS X app for in house use by about 1500 users. I need to manage the devices and distribute the in-house app to these users.
We have an iOS Developer Enterprise Program (iDEP) licence.
Can I combine OSX Server and iDEP to distribute and manage the app? Or do I nee dot move to something like Air Watch? You should not have to do anything the user/group import should be automatic and you should not have to manually create any accounts and it does onging syncs automatically but I do not know how often.
Once you are install and connect to profile manager all the accounts should show up just by clinking on users or the groups icons and they will work with that. You should not need to mess with them in the actual server application Although I would assume the other services all ink into the OD directory I don't know exactly how services like email, file sharing or VPN work as we have other more full featured better scaling services for that like MS Exchange for email/calendar and Cisco VPN.
We are only using OD, Profile Manager and Software Update.
Just a note I am using Server 3.2 on OS 10.9.5 if you are using Server 4.X your mileage will probably vary slightly as I am not sure what the areas of major change are. -
The Application Manager does not list Light Room as a program to download?
The Application Manager does not list Light Room 5 as a program to download? I have downloaded Lightroom Version 4 in the past.
Application Manager Version 7.0.0.324I had the same issue yesterday on OSX Lion.
I manually downloaded another copy of AAM and LR5 appeared.

I have no other applications open, when I try to update with 9.2.0, but I receive subject error message. Task Manager shows NO Image Name called "Program Manager". There is nothing else running, that is obvious to shut down. Any suggestions, Please?
rickHave these posted suggestions worked for anyone? I have been using the same installation files on several different machines. Most machines upgrade just fine but, I have a few that receive this error and I cannot seem to get past it: "Some files that need to be updated are currently in use" "Program Manager" is the program that the installer is complaining about. Does anyone know what program "Program Manager" is? I'm assuming it is an Adobe file but, why would it interfere with one of my installations and not all of them?
I'm using the same installation files for all installs so, I don't believe that it could be my downloaded installation setup files.
Thanks so much in advance for your assistance -- -

Allows a user to download programs, Functions, DD definitions, etc
*to the presentation server. This
version searches recursively for nested includes and function
*modules, and allows you to download
the resulting code as standard text or HTML web pages within a
*suitable directory structure.
You can either search by object name, using wildcards if you wish,
*or a combination of Author and
object name. If you want all objects returned for a particular
*author then select the author name
and choose the most suitable radiobutton. All objects will be
*returned if the fields to the right
hand side of the radiobutton are left completely blank.
Compatible with R/3 Enterprise only, for older versions of SAP you
*will need Direct Download version 5.xx.
This version removes the programming limitations imposed by

This program is intended to allow a person to keep a visual
*representation of a program for backup
purposes only as has not been designed to allow programs to be
*uploaded to SAP systems.

There is no standard report or any program which calculated ratios in SAP. Only ratio calculated is contribution margin in Profitability analysis. you can achieve this functionality using report painter or form based report in Profit Center Accounting or in Financial Accounting.

Tables created using Enterprise Console Manager do not show up in SQLPLUS
I am struggling with Enterprise console manager and command line SQLPLUS.
I have tried scott/tiger , system/manager and the new user that I have created. But I am having the following problems:
1. I cannot connect as NORMAL through Enterprise Console Manager if I use scott/tiger OR new/paswd. Only way I can connect as NORMAL is using system/manager
2. The tables that I create using Enterprise Console Manager (while connected as system/manager in NORMAL mode) do not show up in the command line SQLPLUS. I am check this by running the following command:
SELECT OWNER, OBJECT_NAME FROM ALL_OBJECTS WHERE OBJECT_NAME LIKE '%TEST%';
While running the above command I am conected to SQLPLUS using system/manager WITHOUT SYSDBA
3. Lastly, I have a JAVA class which establishes as connection to the database using system/manager. But I can access only the tables that I create using the Enterprise Console Manager. If I create a table using command line SQLPLUS (while connected as system/manager), I cannot access it through Java program.
I am struggling with this since last morning and now I have run out ways to debug what is happening. Can anybody suggest any ways to tackle this?
Thanks in advance,
MaheshPrior to 11g, when you created a table or whatever, you automatically allocated one extent.
This is now no longer true and depends on a parameter I don't remember.
dba_segments is a summary of dba_extents.
Obviously, if there is no extent allocated, the table (view is defined with inner join) will not show up.
You could qualify this is as a bug and submit a SR to Oracle. But then the performance impact may be huge.

Cisco Enterprise License Manager
Is Cisco Enterprise License Manager the samething as Cisco License Manager? I just want to make sure I am downloading the correct thing to work with CUCM 9.0. This is the only thing I was able to find in the Support downloads when logged in with my CCO:
Cisco License Manager 3.2.3 Client and Server Package (Windows)And thus, same HW requirements as CUCM if you want to do a standalone install.
Otherwise, just use the one that will get installed with CUCM or CUC.

Enterprise Learning Management for External Learners
I need to roll-out enterprise learning management to 300k users who need self service access to create and access their account. Does anyone have experience doing so with Enterprise Learning Management? What did you use to enable the user to create their own account? How was the account validated? How did you enable them to pay for their own class?
Jimmy, I greatly appreciate your reply. I have never worked with ELM, I took this position to get experience in peoplesoft and experience in Project management. But sense I used to be a .Net developer I want to understand the back in of ELM more than just trying to implement ELM 9.0
Of course I'm new to this forum as well. Any help you can give me during my process of trying to implement ELM 9.0 would be greatly appreciated.
Currently where i'm working they are bringing in ELM guy to help with the implentation process. I will be shadowing him to learn the process and then I'll be trying to implent ELM for my gov agency as well as other agencies.
So I will be posting ELM 9.0 questions quite frequently for the next 12- 16 months.
Thanks again for your reply and any help you can give me in the future.
