Personas web-link does not work. it just shows texts and doesn't show up correctly. It used to work but after I had my computer reformatted, and reinstalled fire fox, the personas site just shows text and I can't view the personas.

When i go to http://www.getpersonas.com/en-US/ it just shows up as text and the graphics and details don't show up. It used to show up, but then I had to have my computer reformatted from the beginning and after I installed fire fox, this site doesn't work properly. wy?

PDF in Frame - Open Web Link does not open in new window

I actually have 2 problems.
1. Acrobat 7.0.9. Added a link to open a web page. When the pdf is viewed from within a frame on a web page, the web page link in the pdf does not open in a new window but replaces the pdf in the frame.
2. If I download the pdf to my workstation and open it and click on the link, it does open in a new window BUT opens up 2 browser windows where the 2nd one opened is blank (yes, I am single clicking on the link)
Issue 1 occurs in both IE 6, IE 7 and Firefox ?.??

I am unable to connect to the web on my desktop with Firefox 8, the program displays but will not connect to the Internet, Other browsers Internet Explorer and Opera do connect on the same machine. McAfee is not blocking it, virus checks detect no virus yet yesterday it worked perfectly

I tried what was suggested by starting in Safe Mode but the problem still exists. I am frustrated as I cannot connect to my Verizon Fios page. I can connect to the Internet with the Firefox Browser and can go to any web site except finding my Verizon Home page.

I can't view the MVDemo on a standalone OC4J!

I deploied mapviewer on a standalone OC4J server.
I can add datasource and post the map requist correctly.
But I can't view the mv's demos navigating its links.
The error is like "the page does not exist".
I can use the mvdemos on OracleAS.
In addition, I can't view the default homepage of the OC4J using "http://localhost:8888" but I can view MapViewer's homepage by "http://localhost:8888/MapViewer".
Does anyone tell me how to solve it?

make sure you are using JDK not JRE java. on a typical windows install, when you type 'java' it refers to the java.exe under $your_java_home/jre/bin, which will NOT work with oc4j and mapviewer. you must explictly start oc4j using java.exe from a JDK install, something like c:\j2sdk_1.4.2\bin\java -jar oc4j.jar.

I tried resetting Firefox and deleting the preference file, no change.
By the way, I hate that the tabs are on top and not where they belong above the pages they are for. There should still be a way in Firefox to put them back without having to use an add-in.

Here's the error message I get.
Note the TC is connected to my Airport Extreme via ethernet and my iMac is also connected to the AX via ethernet so it's not a wifi issue.
I can see the TC in the finder so it's not 'gone' from the network either.
Also note that just then the TM system pref pane was claiming a backup error, citing my 'network password' and still refusing to backup. I waited 5 minutes and did some tidying of my office while I pondered this and then tried again and voila it worked ok.

I found that the SAP/webcuif services was disabled, if it was the SP that caused it or not, I don't know, but when I enabled it everything started to work!

Also, you say that you are working with 6.0sp3. Are you sure? sp3 hasn't been
released yet, except in a very limited beta. (I believe only internally, but I
could be wrong about that.)

Google is using a visited color (#551a8b) that is hardly distinguishable from the unvisited color (#2200cc), so may not notice it.
* Make sure that you not run Firefox in (permanent) [[Private Browsing]] mode
* You enter Private Browsing mode if you select: Tools > Options > Privacy > History: Firefox will: "Never Remember History"
* To see all History and Cookie settings, choose: Tools > Options > Privacy, choose the setting Firefox will: Use custom settings for history
* Uncheck: [ ] "Automatically start Firefox in a private browsing session"
You can look at these prefs on the about:config page to make sure that you keep history.

I have an HP Pavilion dv7 6178us Entertainment PC I just bought it last week. My operating system is Windows 7 Home Premium Service Pack 1 64 bits.
The problem I have is that yesterday I install Skype in the computer and realized that the HP TrueVision HD web cam does not work. The light right next to the web cam will light up but no image will appear on the screen.
I have checked the software that I have in the computer for the webcam and the program is CyberLink YouCam BE version 3.5.
But the web cam does not work. The light right next to it will turn on when I activate Cyberlink, Skype or Messenger but no actual image will come out in computer screen. The computer is fully updated BIOS, Windows 7 and HP.
But the web cam is not working. Could you help me fix this problem?

I have a pavilion dv6 notepad. it's about a year old.
about a month ago internal webcam truevision hd stop working.
Called hp tech. they sent a box for me to ship the laptop.
they hp tech attempted to correct the problem via internet
did not work.
wanted me to do a restore to factory setting i stopped him there.
Webcam detected in device manager.
the webcam light come on but no image.
I actually see the back drop through the image space.
running windows 7, fully updated.
I found many comments on the web about the webcam connector disconnecting.
But if it was the case with my computer, the webcam would not be detected.
Many other comments suggests to do a restore to factory setting but \i read also that
does not work often.
I read many comments where disappointed clients believe hp should update
the software but the driver is actually microsoft dating back to june 2006.
Is it possible it's a hardware problem, ie webcam is burned out.
I have received a box to sent it and know they will do a system restore.
Don't feel to go that way.
Many comments refers to hp making an effort to get a driver update.
ps I decided to purchase a logitech webcam, works perfectly.
What else can I do to fix this problem.
Can hp send me another internal webcam.

A posted document link does not work in EP.

I am trying to add a posted page of BPC Web, into EP. But the posted link (as http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/OSoft/Common/ShowFile.aspx?FILE=DESKTOP.HTML&TYPE=DOC) shows below error message. The link does not have any problem in case that it is displayed in BPC Web.

I am completely disappointed by this product of Sony. I had big regards for a brand like Sony and always believed that Sony delivers what they commit. But my heart broke when I installed this ****** stereo in my Honda car. The mirror link does not work on any compatible phone as they have shown in the box or website. The App crashes system shows Device not detected. Tried many times. So folks Dont buy this Mirrorlink ******....copy of this review is going to all major review sites..so people dont fall into this ditch.

I would just like to inform you that the available operations of the MirrorLink function vary depending on the smartphone or the application being used. Therefore, some of the applications installed in the smartphone may not work when using the MirrorLink function. You can close the application and remove the USB connection between the smartphone and the car stereo then, reconnect again to resolve the issue. Here's the list of compatible devices.
