Phoenix 1280 USB camera gives IMAQ USB Init error?
We're trying to use a Phoenix PC-1280 USB video camera with either Labview or the Vision Assistant. In both cases we get an error in the IMAQ USB Init.vi (eg, "IVA Acquisiition Tools palette.vi was stopped at node 0x140 of subVI IMAQ USB Init.vi"). We have the latest version of labview and the vision module. The Mutech people are being totally useless, but I suspect the problem is in their driver which is supposed to use DirectShow and should be compatible. Before we toss this $1000 camera in the trash, can someone suggest a quick fix? ...or even a slow one
PS -- it's not the language problem, we're all in english

One thing to check is to see if your camera is being recognized
by LabVIEW. One way to do this is to use
the USB enumerate cameras.vi. If this is
sending back the camera name, then make sure you are connecting the USB Init.vi
as shown in the attachment. If the USB
enumerate cameras.vi isn’t feeding back any data then there is probably something
wrong with the driver. I hope this

I've installed arch last week. I've some problem with my usb audio. The audio usb device works but i can't use a mixer, so audio control is everytime set on max.
I can't use my normal intel audio 'cause is broken. This is my aplay -l output:

When i try to play audio files on audacious, arch give me following error: Audio usb ALSA error: No suitable mixer element found.
I've set the audio usb device as default with asoundconf. If i try to use hd intel audio, the mixer works good, but when i get back to usb audio, mixer is absent. There is a way to set a mixer for the usb audio device?

If you simply want to control the volume it would be easy to implement a softvol plugin. But this headset should have a volume control. What is the output of:

Today I noticed that when I plug in my digital camera, I receive a 'USB Overcurrent Error' message. I don't receive this message when I use my only other USB device (iPhone 3G).
Would this most likely be the camera or the USB cable?Happens both ways actually.
I tried the USB cable on my old eMac and when I do, the eMac freezes immediately. So, I assume it is the cable. As a result, I ordered a new cable. I will see soon enough I suppose. Thanks so much for the response. -
When I call viMoveIn using a VXI-USB controller the data returned is sometimes corrupted.
I don't have this error with any other VXI controller including the Prodac USB.

You mentioned that you are having a similar issue. Does this mean that you are also receiving corrupted data when using a VXI-USB device? Does this also occur when calling viMoveIn? Have you tried any of the suggestions Logan S. made above? The more information you can give me about the errors you are having, as well as the hardware and software you are using, would be extremely helpful.

USB Power Error with iPod Touch and 2012 MBA
I am getting a USB power error when I connect my current generation 32 GB iPod touch to my 2012 MBA.
Since both iPod and MacAir are running current software. I am also starting to get errors from iTunes telling me that my iPod can not be accessed. Any ideas? Mac or iPod problem, or BOTH? I cannot seem to load raw images into LR 2.5. I've been using this for years. I always load from memory card, but it gives me an unknown error message. I tried to load from camera, hard drive, & external drive and still will not work. I checked import menu and nothing has changed. I loaded the photos onto my tablet and images are fine, so do not feel it is the memory card. Any thoughts?
The error message probably said "unsupported or damaged"
The T3 requires Lightroom 3.4.1 or later. You can either upgrade to a more current version of Lightroom (version 5.6 is the most recent) or you can use the free Adobe DNG Converter to convert the RAWs to DNG, which should import into Lightroom properly. -

I m having troubles with my iphone 4s since day one of its activation: status bar displays searching every now and then, and i m loosing a lot of calls.
I have upgraded the ios to the 9A406 but this did not solve it.

I have been getting a USB power error that says....
Because a USB device was drawing too much power from your computer, one or more of your USB devices have been disabled.
Originally, got it last week when connecting an iphone to charge. I tried multiple white cables, still error. I restarted and now, each time i restart, without ANYTHING plugged into the 2 USB ports, I still get the same error.
So....it would seem that some other device inside the computer, is causing the problem? I have a mid 2009 13 inch macbook pro....and it was never a problem before last week.
Ideas to fix, or is something dying?Try SMC and PRAM resets.

TS3430 Apple usb driver error code 19 - How do I rectify?
My iPhone 5 does not connect with my laptop; it was working fine. I have a usb driver error code 19. how do I fix this?
Well, Apple's Support site states that "error 19" refers to:

package 2 not present [Disk Initialization]
So since the hard drive is unable to initialize, the implication is that the hard drive has failed, and your computer's symptoms tend to confirm this. I'm afraid its time to take the computer in for diagnosis and repair at this point. -

My eMac (2nd Generation, I think...) it was plug into a AirPort base (one of the old ones) and after a lightning, my emac, on the right side (Ethernet, USB, etc) it was all backlighted... The computer as been shutdown automatically, I have rebooted an the first thing i notice, is that it blinks a couple a times that power light, and only if we wait a few minutes (like 4-5) the monitor starts and it shows the Open Firmware with messages saying: USB Setup Error: 5c000000 82002 and USB Setup Error: 5c000000 82000 and on the end it says: 0 2 2 failed to respond...
I don't know how to do, but I've already reset all, I've dismantle the eMac and nothing seems to be burned and if this matters, the keybord and mouse are the original!
Btw, when I write "reset-nvram" and "reset-all", the eMac reboots, it shows the Apple logo, but only for 3/5 seconds...
Please help me! I need my computer, and any help would be appreciated!

Try replacing the small battery,

and then you may need to reset the PRAM via the keys.
Resetting the PRAM and NVRAM
I hope that is all it takes and your logic board is OK. -
i have a iphone 4s and its stuck at the apple logo to comes up then fades away and every time i try to restoring with iTunes it gives me a 4013 error i changed the charging port/dock and the battery ive also used a different computer and cable

However, the most likely reason is your self-repair of a device that is only factory repairable broke something. Note that Apple does not sell replacement parts, so whatever parts you used were not made by Apple's supplier and are of questionable quality. -

please note that the words "utton ID" are exactly as the error message gives it; and at the end of the message there are exactly 19 hyphens.
I don't know why this faulty code is referencing things to do with "chrome"... the Chrome browser is not installed on this PC or anywhere on our network.
Also, this is not the first problem I had after clicking Firefox's prompt for the latest update. Before Firefox retreated into this error message, it was loading but running with some faults...
1. the bookmark symbol was not appearing on the right hand side of the URL line, so I had always to click on "bookmark this page", after which the bookmark symbol did appear; however I don't know if the bookmarking function worked properly.
2. the back and forward buttons were not highlighted, as if I had not come from a previous page; so once I clicked on a link to a new page I could not go back to where I came from because Fiefox thought I hadn't come from anywhere.
3. there may have been other errors, but I did not find them.
How do I reinstate my Firefox program to work properly please? do I have to download the latest version and reinstal? if so, do I have to remove the old version first? or is there a fix?
Even to write this message I have been forced to use (yuk -- I don't like to say this!!!) Internet Explorer. So please -- I need help urgently.

NOELSome how I solved my problem by opening a user account and downloading Firefox 4.0 beta and installing it, I did try it, worked fine, so I did close the user account and did go back to my own account(switched user), the main page that I had problem with Firefox which would not open, I dabble click on Firefox it start working again!! I hope that solves your problem too.

My iMac 8.1 (10.6.8 ) was slowing down and had recurrent permissions problems, mostly with Java. I backed everything up, and then re-installed from time machine. Now all I get is a black screen which says I need to reboot. Power+D gives me a hardware error message: 4 MOT/1/40000003: HDD-1336 or HDD-1327. When I reboot from the OSX CD and start disc utilities everything checks out OK. When I reload 10.5.2 from the OSX CD everything seems to work OK and no more permissions problems. But then I loose all my email and safari stuff. Anyone have any ideas short of going back to my old PC?

No unfortunatley it's too old, you are referring to Target Display Mode which became avialble in 2009, your 2008 needs to have the HD replaced. I'd still do that if everything else is OK or you can simply buy a new MM and display or even a new iMac or an Apple refurbished iMac to save money. -
My LR 4 suddenly no longer recognized my memory cards. I am using the same cards and cameras but consisitently get the error message:"files not imported because the files could not be read. they are jpg and nef files...I am stuck without my workhorse! Any advice is helpful. This has never happened in 6 years
