Phone call

I've put money on my account but when I make a call it keeps telling me to subscribe.I don't want to keep subscribing everytime that message comes up. Can you find the problem and e-mail me. Thanks

Hello p-a-t.
When you say money do you mean Skype Credits, or actual $$Money&&? If you do mean real money, you need to go to the Pay As You Go option and pay for Skype Credits. The other option if you already have bought Skype Credits, is go to the taskbar in Skype, Click on Tools > Options > Notifications > Notification Settings > and the bottom checked box  that says Sends Me A Message, uncheck that box. SAVE after your done and lets take off one more pesky notification. Under the tab Alerts&Messages you'll see a notification called Promotions, Uncheck that one too and then Save again.
Hope this helps. If you have anyother questions, post them here or message me and I'll find the answers for you.

  • Iphone 4s phone call issues

I just bought an iphone4s, white, 32gb. Sometimes when I make a phone call the person that I am ringing cannot hear me but I can hear them. I have to turn the phone off and then on again, then call them before they can hear me.  I dont have the phone in a cover as yet. Is anyone else having the same problem and is there a solution?

Since the latest updates to iOS, I'm hearding more issues reported to my company where iPhone users are not able to be routed correctly in our IVR. From the PBX, I'm seeing such as the following example: Callers dialing an extension 312, for example are able to dial 31, but the 2 is not responding on the iPhone. When the caller does eventually get the 2 to go through, the PBX states 31 is an invalid extension, and then registeres the 2 as a new entry, which is our Sales Queue option. I have confirmed this on my iPhone 4S.
Dialing in the main keypas dialer on the iPhone is fine. However, the additional, smaller keypad for IVR nagivation use is not.
IF the keypad is fine on the iphone, but not smaller keyboard whatever that is, what makes it an iphone/Apple or software issue.

  • IPhone 4 Phone Call Issues

About a week ago I noticed my iphone 4 (updated IOS) was having issues with phone calls.  I would make a call to someone and mid-call they could no longer hear me.  In other cases, I made a call to someone and they never could hear me at all.  Other cases, someone calls me and they cannot hear me.  Finally ther are cases where I call someone and mid-call there is a bunch of static and they cannot hear me.
I spoke with Apple and they told me that I needed to restore the phone and install it as a new iPhone.  This should deal with the issue.  I did such steps and then synced the phone and tried to make a call.  The first three calls nobody could hear me.  The next call they could hear me for 2 minutes and then static and nothing.
I have had a new SIM card installed and have reset the network as well.  In reading the Apple Support Community postings, it looks like the only long term solution is to acquire a new phone.  Is there any other solution anyone knows of to help remedy this situation.  I have had the iPhone 4 for 2 years without an issue and in the last week, this crops up.  It has not been in water, it has a case on it, I am not covering up the mics, the speaker phone is off.
Next to getting a new phone, any ideas?

There is nothing to sort out.
Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new).  Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.
If the issue still occurs, take the device to Apple for evaluation as there is obviously a hardware issue.

  • Ios 6.1.4 Phone calls not working from Jabra EasyGo bluetooth headset

    I updated to 6.1.4 yesterday
I use Jabra EasyGo bluetooth headset.
Music streaming is fine with the headset.
Problem is it doesnt respond to any phone call or dial  commands.
Tried it on another friends iPhone 5 with iOS 6.1.3 it works
Please help to solve as I depend on the bluetooth my work drives car a lot.

I don't think I can restore the back up from iCloud, because I did not back it up to iCloud before the update to OS 6.1.4.  I don't think this is related to voice samples because it seems to cut in and out, like Siri is not 'hearing' me, due to a problem with the microphone.
    Apple please help!

  • Why isn't my iPhone 5s ringing or beeping when I get a phone call or text?

Whenever someone calls me it goes right to voice mail and doesn't ring.  I am missing a lot of phone calls because of it, and it is very annoying.  I don't know if there is something wrong in the settings or just in the software.  I will appreciate any help!

My Iphone 5s doesn't ring anymore (sms, whatsapp, phone call, reminder in the calendar, etc) I can't find why.
I trieds to go on Youtube and for that I have sound so it is just for the rings.
    Can somebody help me please?
    Thank you so much!
    Mary

Have you checked your mute switch (right above the volume buttons)? If you see orange, it is muted and will affect the rings, but not the audio on YouTube.
Just toggle the switch so you don't see the orange and check again.

  • IPhone 4 phones calls interrupted by music

When I'm making a phone call I will suddenly be cut off and the Phone starts to play the music that is on the device.  I'm not doing anything to the phone, not pressing buttons shaking it or anything. I can be talking to somebdoy and then suddely they are gone and the music is playing.  Sometimes it takes me four or five attempts to get the call back , as the music will interrupt the dialling and can cut in at any time.
I checked and the music app is not active after this happens. The iPhone is hardly usable as a phone noew the problem has got so bad. Anybody know if this can be fixed?
My next move will be to delete all the music on the device, pretty poor for a $600 phone.

    I'm on ios 6.1.3 .
Frankly I would consider anything as the phone is almost unusable (as a phone) at the moment.  I only have one paid app that cost 99 cents and I don't care about that.

  • How do I use my Mac's mic and speaker when answering a phone call?

Whenever I receive a phone call on my iPhone and answer it on my Mac, the speaker and mic on the iPhone are used for the call rather than the Mac. On an older Mac I was using, when I answered a call from my iPhone, it used the Mac's speaker and mic for the call. Is there a setting somewhere to fix this on the new Mac? When I make calls from the Mac, it uses the speaker and mic, but it doesn't when I answer them. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

  • How do I make a phone call from my mac with yosemite?

How do I make a phone call from my MacBook Pro on the Yosemite operating system?

The following quotation is from Connect your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, and Mac using Continuity
There is more information in the link, including supported hardware and that you must have Settings > FaceTime > iPhone Cellular Calls set to on on the iPhone.
    Phone calls
With Continuity, you can make and receive cellular phone calls from your iPad, iPod touch, or Mac when your iPhone is on the same Wi-Fi network.
To make and receive phone calls, here's what you need:
Sign in to the same iCloud account on all your devices, including your Mac.
Your iPhone and your iPad or iPod touch need to use iOS 8 or later. Your Mac needs to use OS X Yosemite.
All devices must be on the same Wi-Fi network.
All devices must be signed in to FaceTime using the same iCloud account. This means any device that shares your Apple ID will get your phone calls. Look below for instructions on how to turn off iPhone cellular calls.
Wi-Fi Calling needs to be off. Go to Settings > Phone. If you see Wi-Fi Calling, turn it off.
    Make a call
To make a phone call on your Mac, iPad or iPod touch tap or click a phone number in Contacts, Calendar, or Safari.

  • Is there a way to lock the phone's touch screen during a phone call?

I just purhased my iPhone and I noticed that during a phone call I may accidentally tap Mute or Speakerphone with my cheak, depending on which hand I hold the phone in. Also when I hand the phone over to someone they may accidentally tap a button, and in the worst scenerios they will accidentally end the call.
Is there a way to lock the screen or something to prevent any of the above from occuring?

Their currently isent a way to disable the buttons but what you can do is click the home button during a call after pressing loud speaker and that will separate you from the call options and take you to the home screen and on the top it will have say call active and you can click that to renter the call note the call will still be active but when you hold it next to your face the screen should temporally go dark. Steve jobs was the one who came up with when the top sensor is active the screen will go dark and disable on screen button pressing when it is press against your face

  • Why does it take 22 phone calls and leaving BT to ...

I used to have BT broadband option 3.  For this I required a phone line, I made around 3 phone calls a year from it.
Last year in May some bright spark in BT decided to merge my phone and broadband accounts.  I had been paying the correct amount of around 40 pounds a month for my line rental and broadband (+vat) until this point.  When they made this "merge" they upped my monthly payments to 71.50.  (I found this out much later after many many many frustrating phone calls)
I only noticed this overcharging in January when a bill of 71.50 was DD'd from my account.  I then noticed this had happened for most of last year.  I was refunded the 200 pounds my account was in credit at the time.  I asked the person on the phone to set my direct debit to take the correct monthly account.  He said he would.
What I expected was billing like so:
    Feb 40 pounds
    Mar 40 pounds
    Apr 40 pounds
Its not rocket science.  Its not hard.  Am I missing something?  Was my request too difficult?   I had paid monthly by direct debit since I have had a phone line.
On the 21st of January my account was debited £117.70 by BT.  This was on top of the £71.50 already taken earlier in the month.  It was directly before my payday and put me overdrawn with my bank who charged me for the pleasure.  The bank refunded the amount.
I was about to go on holiday and called BT billing who apologised and stated clearly that I could call back in February to arrange the correct billing, that they were sorry and would put notes on my account to ensure no further attempt was made to take the incorrect amount.
While on holiday ..... an incompetant person in BT billing emailed me to say that she would be trying to take the £117.50 from my account "in the next few days".  So, while on my holiday I had to ensure this did not happen by contacting this BT billing department.  I cancelled the BT direct debitat this time.
After calling BT around 15 more times, speaking to various levels of incompetance i was finally told in Mid February  that I had been switched to quarterly billing, but on a monthly direct debit:  I was being charged for 3 months use up front and nothing could be done, I had to live with their mistake.  Could I please pay up the £117.50 or I risked interuption of service ... which was a shame .... as after so many phone calls I had already put the wheels in motion to leave for Sky ....
Calling for my MAC code the poor lady offered me broadband at half price to keep me, at which I had to respond that she could offer it to me for free but I had no confidence that would be what appeared on my bill or what would be taken from my bank account.  The billing department is the sole reason for my leaving.
So, I had left BT in mid February.  Despite this, the billing department still insisted that I pay the £117.50 for the period "up to the 31st March".  On pointing out that I would not pay for a service I was no longer receiving and could they produce a bill up to the 16th February, I am told "oh no, you must pay in advance and then we will kindly refund you the money".
Amazing ... pay up front for a service I no longer receive and hope the company repays me?  Considering my confidence in their handling of money ...  Heck no ...
I am told they will produce a final bill, "within 14 working days" (such speed!) which may ... oh so kind of them .. have the correct amount I owe them on it.
So after a few more frsutrating phone calls where I am demanding a bill, it transpires that BT have been sending my bills to the WRONG address.  It appears that despite using the home move service some years ago and BT moving my phone line from one property to another that BT billing live on another planet and never received this news and were sending my bills to my old property.  I was asked "Can you not go to the property and ask for the bills".   My patience had now pretty much run out.  I just wanted rid of this company.
Today, I call .. yet. .. again .. to ask where the **bleep** my final bill is and they tell me its been put in the post.  It is for the correct amount.   I will be paying it when it arrives.
Its such a shame.  All BT had to do was charge me the correct amount per month for their own services.  They failed utterly.  From all my conversations with them I have an impression of a department in meltdown where the left hand does not know what the right hand is doing, let alone what the the feet might be up to .....
I have left BT for good,  I have been left with a very bitter aftertaste.
From the posts on this board, it appears my frustration is felt by many.  I do wonder if any action is being taken internally with BT to correct the mistakes being made?   Would a moderator confirm?

    Hi Oxfordataloss,
Thanks for posting. I'm really sorry you've had such problems with BT, it's certainly not the kind of service we would hope to provide. I'll take your comments on board and if you don't receive the final bill as expected please drop me an email with the account details and a link to this thread for reference.
    Cheers
