Photoshop CS6 will not install: "The download appears corrupt... (-60)."

"...Press Cancel, wait a few minutes and try again. (-60)"
I've tried multiple times, but continue to get the same error. I've been able to download and install Dreamweaver, InDesign, and Premiere Pro with any problems.

I am experiencing the same problems on Mac OSX 10.7.3. I did have the CS6 Photoshop Beta installed prior to subscribing to the Creative Cloud, but uninstalled it per request of the Adobe Application Manager (Creative Cloud Client?). First few attempts of installing PS CS6, ended with "The download appears corrupt... (-60)". All of the other software programs that I needed installed fine. Numerous restarts did nothing to help. I then ran the CS Cleaner Tool and removed all of CS6 and also CS5 from the computer, and rebooted. The next attempt resulted in an error code -4. After another reboot, I am back at "The download appears corrupt... (-60)". Restarting the computer does nothing to help.

It's strange that you ran the cleaner tool and still didn't worked
you can try to login to Root user account and then run the cleaner tool , and then check.

Photoshop CS6 will not install from Adobe Apps manager

I have the cloud subscription and I tried downloading PS, it said it could not so so because i had the beta installed. So I got rid of the beta and tried again....still said no. So I emptied my trash and restarted, and it still will not download PS. I got all my other software ok, but cant get PS for some reason. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I talked with support, go download the adobe cleaner and it will allow you to see what files from PS CS6 are still on your system and get them off. I am trying now, will let u know if it works.

Adobe reader disappeared from my Windows 7, 32 computer, and will not install the download?

I have not been able to open my PDF's since this occurred, and the download completes but the installer is a black screen. Please help!

Photoshop CS6 will not install- associations issue

Every time I click the install button in the cs6 set up I get this error:
"this file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action.
Please install a program, or if one exists, create an association in the default
programs control panel"

It appears that the file associations for your .exe files seem to be corrupted.
I suggest that you follow the below support doc from microsoft that will fix the file associations.

Photoshop CS6 is not installing properly and i am unable to locate the application

HELP ME!!!! My trial Photoshop CS6 is not installing properly and i am unable to locate and open the application on my mac. I am just going around in circles from file to file and back to the starting "intall" icon

I am on the Adobe Download Assistant. It was stuck at "less than a minute" for an hour and a half, showing that the installation was basically done, since the installation bar was full. But it was stuck. Now it has stopped all together, and is restarting the download from scratch.
Apparently it does not save the download, or only saves a small portion.

It is at 85.6 MB, even though a short time ago it was close to 99.9% done with the 6,352 MB download.
My internet connection is fine, all is working, and I am able to browse, etc.
I have been careful to keep activity minimal on the computer, so as to avoid conflicts.
The conflicts are with the Adobe Download Assistant.
I amabout ready to just give up, and look for alternatives.
Please help.

The trial version of Photoshop CS6 will not activate

The trial version of Photoshop CS6 will not activate and gives the message that I do not have Internet connection, yet I do but it is hardwired via university LAN. My IT person cannot find a fix for it either. I obviously have internet connection since I am sending this question via the same PC.

What exactly are you trying to do? Trials require no serial, but full versions do. Are you trying to activate a trial to convert it to a licensed version?

I have tried to install at different times over three different days with the same result each time. My version of Bridge now no longer shows DNG files except as an icon. The update is supposed to install Camera Raw version 9.

Photoshop CS6 will not open any graphics files

Photoshop cs6 will not open graphic files, i have reset the settings. I get to see all the files in preview but when I try to open a file nothing happens, no error messages, no file opens, nothing.
When I use bridge I try to open the file with open in photoshop cs6 but again nothing happens. I found that if I reboot my PC photoshop will work correctly until I shut photoshop down but if I reopen it later before rebooting my pc now graphics files will open.

Mountain Lion downloaded from App store on 11th and 12th June will not install. Downloaded TWICE it times out after 20 secs into install. Can't get any help!!! Going around in circles!!
My Machine MacBook Pro OS 10.6.8
Processor 2.66Ghz i7,
4GB memory
128GB solid state drive
Purchased 2010

Thanks very much for the advice. I trawled through the other answers on the site and it appears others had the same issue. I doubled the available space and the install went like clockwork... which is what one would norma;ly expect from Apple :-)
Maybe Apple should have a ' definitely read me first' notice before a download takes place with CLEAR instructions to have more than the 6GB they indicate ofr the Mountain Lion download

Beta cs6 will not install error bridge running but it is not running

Can not install cs6 error close bridge but bridge is not running

I am running windows 7, I check task manager and bridge is not running

Which operating system are you running? It might still be running in the background. You may want to check your Task Manager or Activity Monitor. Or better yet, if you feel uncomfortable with that, try logging out of your user account, then back in. That might kill any stray processes.

My iPad 2 will not complete the download of software upgrade 6.1.2?

Hi. My iPad 2 will not complete the download and install of the iso 6.1.2 software upgrade to fix the calendar exchange that is draining battery. It goes through the process and then just says there is an error but does not indicate the error. Any ideas gratefully accepted.
Also I don't know if it is connected but it also will not download new apps or iBook I purchased. Please assist if you can.

Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Power off the router and then power it back on
- Reset network settings: Settings>General>reset>Reset Network Settings. You will have to rejoin all networks

Latest patch for Fireworks CS6 will not install

Tries to install latest patch but it will not install, the application manager just hangs and crashes, on OSX 10.6.8

1) Open Control Panel and Navigate to Control Panel\Programs\Programs and Features .
Under Program and Features list, locate the option : Adobe Creative Cloud and uninstall the same.
2) Open C:drive and navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe.
Open Adobe folder and delete folders named Adobe Application Manager and OOBE.
3) Navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe.
Open Adobe folder and if present delete Adobe Creative Cloud folder.
4) Press Windows button (located between Ctrl and Alt buttons) along with R button together at a time , you will get a run command window.
Type in below command and hit 'Enter' key.
appdata
Then navigate to Local>Adobe.
Open Adobe folder and delete folders named AAMUpdater and OOBE.
5) Click on the below link and download Creative Cloud setup file and use the same to install the Creative Cloud Desktop application.

In trying to download Firefox 4.0, it "paused" at 37% of the way and will not finish the download. Why?

I could not open NY Times articles today because Firefox would not let me. I reported this twice. I received a window telling me to update Firefox ~~ and I'm trying to do this. As I said, Firefox download4.0.dmg paused and will not finish the download. It's been over 10 minutes and I don't know how to proceed.

You see the orange (on Linux gray) Firefox button if the Menu Bar is hidden, so you need to hide the Menu bar to get the new appearance.<br />
If you need to access the hidden Menu bar then press F10 or hold down the Alt key to make the Menu Bar appear temporarily.<br />
You can place the Tab Bar on top.
* View > Toolbars : [ ] Menu Bar
* View > Toolbars : [X] Tabs on Top

Photoshop CS6 will not install: "The download appears corrupt... (-60)."
