PHP iPhone version

I'm wondering…
I made a page so my clients can connect to my ftp server.
This page, generated by Muse is html, of course.
After adding some php script to test if my ftp is open and send me a mail if not, I changed the extension of the file to php.
This page loads perfectly in browsers on Mac, PC an iPhone.
Now, I want to make an iPhone version of this page.
So, I did the same procedure:
create the page with Muse
export in html from Muse to desktop
add the php script with TextWrangler
change the extension to php
upload the file on server
This page is not showing on iPhone.
Is there a workaround?
I tried to change the extension in sitemap.xml but no go.

Do you have a Windows Server or Linux Server selected on your hosting site? ... you would need a Linux server for PHP files to run properly ...
Also when you change the extension from HTML to PHP ... you may still have HTML code in there telling the servers that it's an HTML file and not a PHP file? ... make sure you have this at the top of your PHP file:
<?php
?>
that tells the servers to process that file as a PHP file ...
Using NOTEPAD, or whatever is easier ... copy/paste this into it ...
<?php
echo "My first PHP script!";
?>
Then name the file as test.php ... then upload that test.php file to your website and in a browser type your website URL address ... www.mydomainname.com/test.php
You should see ... My first PHP script! on the screen ... if not then it's possible that you do not have PHP capabilites on your server ...
