PHP namespace not recognized in DW

Dreamweaver CS5 says that i have an error in my code when i write "namespace" eventhough it's correctly written according to php manual. Is there a workaround for this? Am I able to define my own language constructs in DW?

Dreamweaver CS5's PHP support is based on PHP 5.2. That's why it doesn't recognize the use of namespace. AFAIK, there's nothing you can do about it, apart from submitting a feature request (https://www.adobe.com/cfusion/mmform/index.cfm?name=wishform) to upgrade support to PHP 5.3.
Although PHP 5.3 was released at the end of June last year, it was still only in development when work started on integrating the syntax checker and other PHP enhancements into Dreamweaver CS5. As I understand from my contacts in the Dreamweaver engineering team, waiting for PHP 5.3 to be finalized would have resulted in having to drop many of the planned features. So, a decision was made to go with the stable 5.2 release.

• NameSpace not recognized in Call-template

I have declared name space
xmlns:StringUtils="http://www.oracle.com/XSL/Transform/java/com.xyz.xyz.utils.StringUtils"
as part of the stylesheet element.
When I use this name space in calculating a variables value XSLT processor picks up properly. But when used as part of Call-template with-param element name space is not recognised and we get XSLT exception XSL-1008 (Name space prefix StringUtils used but not declared).
This error does not come when we use oraxsl but comes when we use oracle.xml.parser.v2.XSLProcessor.processXSL
Jar file being used
xmlparserv2.jar came as part of Oracle8.1.7.
We have a work around for now, but any Idea why It won't recognize the name space when used as part of the with-param element.
Syntax of with-param
with-param name="pXYZ" select="StringUtils:multiply($pvalue1,100)"/>

Hi
I need a help from the same problem.
I am getting the same error ie: Namespace prefix 'http' used but not declared
Actually the error is obtained when i use
"http://www.glode.com// in one the variables in xsl Or if
i pass a param with "http://www.globe.com" like this.
String plsql_ret_url = "http:/www.globe.com"
g_gx_xsl.setParam("p_url", plsql_ret_url);
In the xsl sheet it is defined as: <xsl:param name="p_url" />
Do we need to do some modification to the url to use
in xsl stylesheets.
Can you please help me how to solve this.
thanks a lot in advance

• Php include not working

Good Afternoon.
I am having a hard time trying to find what needs to be set to allow url
include statments in php on Netware 6.5 sp3, php5.
I know my code is correct after trying it on an external server, and it
seems all other php coding works. Just not the http includes as shown
below:
<?php
include ('http://your.website.here/filenamehere.php');
?>
php.ini is posted below:
; About php.ini ;
; This file controls many aspects of PHP's behavior. In order for PHP to
; read it, it must be named 'php.ini'. PHP looks for it in the current
; working directory, in the path designated by the environment variable
; PHPRC, and in the path that was defined in compile time (in that order).
; Under Windows, the compile-time path is the Windows directory. The
; path in which the php.ini file is looked for can be overridden using
; the -c argument in command line mode.
; The syntax of the file is extremely simple. Whitespace and Lines
; beginning with a semicolon are silently ignored (as you probably
guessed).
; Section headers (e.g. [Foo]) are also silently ignored, even though
; they might mean something in the future.
; Directives are specified using the following syntax:
; directive = value
; Directive names are *case sensitive* - foo=bar is different from FOO=bar.
; The value can be a string, a number, a PHP constant (e.g. E_ALL or
M_PI), one
; of the INI constants (On, Off, True, False, Yes, No and None) or an
expression
; (e.g. E_ALL & ~E_NOTICE), or a quoted string ("foo").
; Expressions in the INI file are limited to bitwise operators and
parentheses:
; | bitwise OR
; & bitwise AND
; ~ bitwise NOT
; ! boolean NOT
; Boolean flags can be turned on using the values 1, On, True or Yes.
; They can be turned off using the values 0, Off, False or No.
; An empty string can be denoted by simply not writing anything after the
equal
; sign, or by using the None keyword:
; foo = ; sets foo to an empty string
; foo = none ; sets foo to an empty string
; foo = "none" ; sets foo to the string 'none'
; If you use constants in your value, and these constants belong to a
; dynamically loaded extension (either a PHP extension or a Zend
extension),
; you may only use these constants *after* the line that loads the
extension.

; and encourage cleaner coding.
; The price is that with these settings, PHP may be incompatible with some

; For general information about the php.ini file, please consult the

; This file is different from the php.ini-dist file in the fact that it
features

performance, while
; possibly breaking compatibility with the standard out-of-the-box
behavior of
; PHP. Please make sure you read what's different, and modify your scripts

• CUPS not recognizing Epson USB-Printer

I'm trying to get an Epson Stylus Office Box BX300F to work with Arch x86_64.
I have followed the CUPS wiki page closely and have installed everything it told me to.
When i connected to http://localhost:631/admin and clicked 'add printer' the USB printer was not listed. dmesg however showed me that the printer is at least recognized to some extent:
[ 2295.813154] usb 2-1: new high speed USB device number 6 using ehci_hcd
[ 2295.951540] usblp0: USB Bidirectional printer dev 6 if 1 alt 0 proto 2 vid 0x04B8 pid 0x0848
[ 2297.177498] usb 2-1: usbfs: interface 1 claimed by usblp while 'usb' sets config #1
I tried blacklisting usblp, but then, after rebooting, it got not recognized at all, so i undid that.
Then i found the printer in the openprint db (link), found the driver that is listed as working perfectly there in the AUR (link) and installed that package. But it doesn't seem to help at all, CUPS still doesn't list any USB printer. I've included the full section of /var/log/cups/error_log with loglevel=debug, hope it helps. Any suggestions on how i can get the printer working are greatly appreciated.
cupsd restarted at 20:31:19 ; i refreshed http://localhost:631/admin at 20:31:24 ; and i clicked 'add printer' at 20:31:30

I have gotten around to give this printer another try and when i connected it and read through /var/log/cups/error_log i noticed 2 lines close to the end that seem to be the problem:
D [24/Aug/2011:12:42:23 +0200] [CGI] libusb couldn't open USB device /dev/bus/usb/002/006: Permission denied.
D [24/Aug/2011:12:42:23 +0200] [CGI] libusb requires write access to USB device nodes.
i checked the permissions, but they seem to be allright:
$ ls -l /dev/bus/usb/002/006
crw-rw-r--+ 1 root scanner 189, 133 24. Aug 12:42 /dev/bus/usb/002/006
$ id
...,7(lp),10(wheel),96(scanner),97(camera)
here is the complete part of error_log from connecting the printer:

i found a related thread ( https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=110477 ) but that deals with digital cameras, so it doesn't really help me. Other forum threads i found about libusb permission errors were mostly people that forgot to add themselves to lp and the like. Does anyone know why i get the permission errors and how i can fix it? Any help is greatly appreciated!

• IPAD2 is not recognized by my IMAC i7

I've read just about everything in the forums, both relavent and not relavent to my problem, including the links some answers included.
I have a new WIFI IPAD2 which I purchased about six months ago.  I have been charging and syncing it with my IMAC i7 Quad, which I have had less then a year.  I plugged my IPAD into the IMAC today and it would not charge or be recognized by Itunes(10.3.1).  The IPAD would charge on the wall outlet.  All programs and OS are current.  I followed some suggestion found in the forums.  One appeared to start to work, but I had to RESTORE the IPAD.  So I went through that process but when it started to load I got the 1611 error message.  I tried it again using different USB ports on the IMAC, no joy.  So now I have a wiped IPAD2.  I dug  out an old IMAC I had in the basement and did the same thing.  After updating the IMAC's software, it did go into the RESTORE mode.  It's not completely done yet but the Apps are loaded and it is almost done.  But it isn't charging. I hope I have enough power to complete the process.   I'm assuming it's because it's an older model it won't charge.  How do I get this IPAD2 to be recognized by my newer IMAC?
I also, for grins, plugged in my IPOD4.  It also is not recognized by iTunes on the new IMAC, which I use all the time with my IPOD4.  But, it does charge on the IMAC.
Any Ideas?

• Restoring iPod then it's not recognized by iTunes

HELP?!! I have restored this 80GB classic 6 times, and after I load all the songs on it, and disconnect, iTunes tells me it can not read it when I reconnect. And Now, also, after I have loaded ALL the songs, the iPod says "no Music"...but then it will show there's like 35 GB left...so what the heck? It's half full, but says no music and iTunes won't read it. Again, I have done this whole thing 6 times now.

Hi there,
This list of hints http://www.copytrans.net/helpcopytrans.php#22 helped me when my iPod was not recognized either.

• Develop software for connecting to creative zen touch and other devices not recognized by wind

hi there,
as a programmer i wonder, is it possible to obtain information of how to connect to usb-connected creative device (which is not recognized automatically by windows, as the zen touch) and how to communicate with it's is there any documentation about that available to "non-creative" ;-) developers?
the idea is to create a plugin (e.g. for musikcube) that enables the programm to access the files on the device.
i know there are third party companies that do provide software for connecting to e.g. zen touch, but i do not think that they have figured out every little bit by themselves, have they?
greetings and thanks a lot
asdf

Try this:
Download <a href='http://www.delldjsite.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=444' target=_blank>this file. Extract it to whatever folder you like. Inside that folder run the file fixup.cmd. A DOS window will open up and start display messages on what its doing, when its done it will instruct you to remove the device from Device Manager and reconnect it.
Try this and see if it works.

Hi, Jake. Welcome to Apple Discussions.
It's possible that your AirPort card has fizzled out on you. AirPort card failure doesn't happen very often, but it happened to me once, and it was very frustrating.
We diagnosed what was wrong with mine by my husband swapping his AirPort card with mine. Then my iBook would connect, but his wouldn't, so we knew it was the card.
Will the iBook work on any wireless network? Do you have someone with whom you could swap cards to see if that's the problem?

Have you tried using the other USB port? If neither port works, try plugging in a USB mouse to see if it works to confirm that your USB ports aren't damaged.
Have you installed any new software? Maybe a Security Update or something similar? Sometimes that will break functionality of third-party drivers.
You may need to go to the website of the manufacturer of the USB wireless device to see if an updated driver is available.

When did you buy it, Jake?
There is a driver that was released on June 19, 2007.
http://www.belkin.com/support/article/?lid=en&pid=F5D9050&aid=5925&scid=0
Even if this is the one you have installed, you may want to reinstall it.

Hi, and welcome to Apple Discussions.
Since Jake hasn't posted in over two months, either that driver worked for him, he found the answer elsewhere, or he gave up. Since he hasn't posted back, we have no way of knowing.

Since you're running Leopard, I surmise that your iMac takes the AirPort Extreme card?
May I ask why you don't just get one of those? As I post this, the Apple Store has a refurbished one for $29.00.

I am not running Leopard... using 10.4 and I already own the product. It is suppose to work and there is no reason to purchase another unit. All I need to understand is how to make the IMac recognize the USB device or how to configure the unit. Others have stated in this and other forums that they have used this unit with success.
Thanks for address this specific issue.

Your specifications at the bottom of your post state that you're running Mac OS X 10.5.1?
You may want to post in the Internet and Networking your iMac (Flat Panel) Forum. Maybe someone there can help you out. (You've posted in the iBook G3 Forum.)

I am using a laptop to connect to the internet not the machine that I am writing about. If I could do that I would not need any help. I will check out the other forum but this thread is on topic.
Mac OS X (10.5.1)

The information in your thread references an iBook quite a lot but the title of this post says iMac so I going to assume that you are trying to use this device with an iMac.
It is also unclear what version of the Mac OS you are using.
Let's start by stating the fact that these USB networking networking devices are not inherently supported by the Mac OS. Therefore they need drivers. These drivers are usually fragile and only work with a well defined version (or versions) of the Mac OS. Anytime that you make any upgrade to the Mac you are able to create an incompatibility with the driver and the device.
The Belkin F5D9050 does have some Mac OS drivers available at this link.
You should uninstall/remove the current driver for this device.
Restart your iMac.
Download and install the appropriate driver for the version of Mac OS on your iMac.
Restart your iMac.
If that doesn't work, either get the original AirPort card for the internal wireless slot in the iMac or get an Ethernet wireless adapter. An Ethernet wireless adapter requires no drivers and therefore will work with any Ethernet device.

• TS1538 iPhone 2G not recognized by iTunes after erasing all content

Okay, I am trying to fix and iPhone 2G. I decided to erase its contents, which apparently erased the iOS as well. However, how can I add an iOS if iTunes and my computer are not recognizing it? I already have the 3.12 IPSW downloaded so I could have restored in iTunes, but for no reason now. Also, it only shows the Apple logo with a loading, freezing circle. I have no idea what is the cause, and would really like a solution. Thanks.

You need to put it in DFU mode.

• Now, USB External Hard Drive Not Recognized after 10.6.8 Update

My external Hard Drive is not recognized on start up.  I have to unplug it and plug it back in for it to be recognized.
All this since 10.6.8 updated today.
I'm a fool for updating the same day.
This has happened before and I always forget the bugs in the software when it first comes out.

Alright, I'm gonna go ahead and close this thread. I found out the solution to my issue. Turns out it was a problem with a system file I changed right before installing. The error only occurred on a restart... the required 10.6.1 reboot was the first reboot since the change, so thus it looked like the culprit.
If you want a more thorough explanation of my problem (highly HIGHLY doubt it's gonna help you guys out), check this thread --> http://forums.appleinsider.com/showpost.php?p=1480362&postcount=8
Sorry for the trouble!

• Found a fix for windows not recognizing vision M, possible for oth

I went through the same frustration as so many people about windows not recognizing my vision M. Here's how I solved it. Go to device manager (right click on My Computer, choose manage then device manager) go to the unrecognized usb device, right click and choose update driver. choose no fior connecting to windiows update, then install software from a specific location, now choose don't search, I will choose the driver to install, find and install the driver for portable devices called MTP device. this should solve the issue. this is only for players not recognized by windows. I'm not sure if some versions of wondows can't figure out where to find the driver or what.

Yes that is one way to get it working
Otherways are suggested <a href='http://www.nomadness.net/modules.php?name=FAQ&myfaq=yes&id_cat=8&categories =Nomad+Jukebox+Zen#228' target=_blank>here.
Glad to hear that you got your issue solved on your own.

• External keyboard and mouse not recognized after waking from sleep

This started happening all of a sudden. It was working fine before that. When I disconnect the power cable, keyboard, and then connect them back, its not recognized. To make it recognize the keyboard and mouse, I have to logout and login or restart the laptop. I looked at this related post, but the PRAM reset fix did not work for me : http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=870482
Any idea how to fix it?
OS version: 10.9.2
MacBook Pro 13-inch Mid 2012
Processor 2.9 GHz Intrel Core i7
Memory 16GB 1600 MHz DDR3

I have a similar problem on our G3 iBook with Panther. Most of the keys don't work, and of the four or five that do, they print only gibberish.
For a while I had control of the "C" key, and I was able to start from the Installation CD-ROM. I ran Disk Utility. It found and repaired a whole bunch of permissions and reported no problem with the hard disk. But I still cannot use the keys, and since then I've lost the use of the "C" also.
Because I cannot use the keyboard, I cannot type in my administrator's password, and for that reason I cannot use System Preferences to start from the Installation CD-ROM. I did not see the Hardware Test on the CD-ROM, but it sounds interesting.
Any ideas on how to get back to the CD-ROM when my keyboard doesn't work?

• CSS okay in IE but not recognized by FF and Safari

I have a style sheet for image floats that is attached to a html document within a php file that is recognized by IE but is not recognized by Firefox and Safari. I have attached it as an internal style sheet as well as an external style sheet and neither makes a difference.  HELP!

I've cleaned up the code in the html file within the php file per your instructions by removing the embedded CSS and deleting the <html>, <head> and <body> tags.  This seemed to clear any conflicts on the php file (http://www.mdy.lib.in.us/index.php). However the page is still showing okay in IE but not in FF and Safari. Below is my revised html code...what am I not getting right?
