Pick quanity with reference to confirmation qty

Hi,
In our scenario, we are using picking transaction to issue the raw material againt process order by using the transaction COIK after confirmation of process order. But in picking quanity is defaulting total requirement qty from reservation irrespective of confirmed quanity of finished product.
I want in picking after final confirmation requirement qty of raw material in line with (proportional) confirmed qty of finished product as in backflush.
Suppose a process order of order qty 100 nos. and for this required qty of raw material xxx is 1000. Then i confirmed the process order of 50qty with final issue indicator. Then i am issuing the raw material through picking. In picking raw material full qty 1000 nos are defauliting. But i confirmed only 50 nos. In this case raw material required is 500 Nos. only. So i want in picking 500 nos only.
Thanks & regards.
N. Laxman

Dear Lakshman,
still i am unable to understand ur query
I want to issue the raw material after confirmation
yes u can do that, after confirmation
u can still issue in MB1A
OK now i got ur point
u mean to say while issuing in MB1A & after clicking adopt details system is picking full quantiity
yes this is the std SAP behaviour
if u want to do in MB1A, then don't click on Adopt details
just give order number & pressw enter & give manually
BTW are u working on AFS ??
just wait for expert replies

  • Service PO with reference to Service Contract "Qty appearing as '1' in PO"

    Hello Gurus,
I am creating a service PO with reference to a service contract. For service line there is lets say "1500" qty but while adopting the service lines from the contract to PO, system pick the qty as "1" only eventhough "1500" is remaining for PO release.
No other PO is created for this qty and for this contract.
    Thanks in advance....

    Hi,
Usually a contract is created for establishing a price with the vendor.
This is the reason for is the only purchasing document which can be
created without quantities. The quantity in contract has the purpose of
limitation, as a guideline for all orders created with reference to
that contract and is not an immediate requirement like a quantity in
    purchase requisition, for example.
When a purchase order is created with
reference to a contract, the services selected from that contract will
have ALWAYS  the proposed quantity 1, and was designed and hard coded to
    be like that.

  • Control over qty in outbound delivery created with reference to P.O

    Dear Gurus,
I am trying to create a outbound delivery document with reference to the purchase order. But, the system is allowing more
quantity in delivery document than in purchase order. How to control it.
    Regards,
    Krishna

    Hi,
    You can control this through item category fetched in delivery. Please check whether you have set error message or note about situation for overdelivery under following customization path;
SPRO>>Logistics Execution>>Shipping>>Deliveries>>Define Item Categories for Deliveries
Here for your relevant item category, check under quantity table the entry maintain under 'Check Overdelivery'
You can set it as A- So that user get the note of the situation or B- so that it gives error message.

  • Confirmed qty is always zero..

    Hi all,
I am testing the Consignment Process in SD.
I have done the below settings in IMG.  But when I create the Consign Fillup Order, always the "Availability Control Screen" pops with the Confirmed qty showing always ZERO....even though the plant has sufficient stock.
When I create Normal Sales Order, I don't get this message. Is't becos in Schedule Line cate CP the Av check is not ticked in t-code : VOV6 for movement type 601 ???
    1. Consignment fill up:
    Sales document type is KB
    Item category KBN
    shedule line category E1
In this step, since we are not invoicing the customer. document flow is sales order -
delivery item category. It will not be relevent for billing and pricing because we are not charging money for these goods in this step.
In schedule line category, we will set movement type 631 & set for availability check and TOR.
    2. Consignment Issue.
Once the customer informed us that he used all the goods or partial goods then we will create consignment issue for used goods.
    Sales document: KE
    Item category: KEN
shedule line category: C0 or C1
Here we are invoicing the customer(because he used the goods). We assign the delivery documnt and billing document to the sales document.
In item category, we are setting relevent for billing, pricing, special stock.
In schedule line category, the setting is 633 movement type, relevent for availability check & TOR.
    3. Consignment Return: Customer found that some goods are damaged or he not able to sold the goods he want to send it back. that we are creating this document.
    Sales document type: KR
    Item category: KRN
    Shedule line category: D0
Then I assigned delivery document and billing to sales document. We create return order, return delivery, return billing.
The setting for item category is relevent for billing, returns, pricing, special stock.
The setting for schedule line item category: 634 movement type, NO availability NO TOR.
    4. Consignment Pick up:
Even if we create the consignment return the goods are not coming directly  to our plant. For that we need to create consignment pick up. here the owner ship is not changing so we do not need to create billing.
Assign retrun delivery to sales document type.
    Sales document: KA
    Item category: KAN
    schedule line category: F0 & F1
The item category is relevent for returns. any shedule line category relevent for 632 movement type, MRP, availability check, delivery.

    Pri

    Dear Anne
My suggestion would be create the issue order with reference to proforma (F8).  Then only, you have the track record of whatever material despatches from plant tallies with material available in issue order.
If you create  issue order with reference to fill up order, at a later stage, you will not be able to track despatch details accurately.
To explain your requirement in detail, my comments would be as follows:-
You created Consignment fillup order for x1 material 10 pcs.  For this you create fillup delivery and proforma invoice.  Based on this proforma invoice, you create an issue order so that whatever you transfer the stock to warehouse, for that quantity only, you issue order will show the details.
Against this issue order, you create a issue delivery for 10 pcs and generate commercial invoice (F2) for the same.  Now as you said, if end customer rejects 2 pcs out of 10 pcs, you create a return order with reference to commercial invoice.  It should NOT be with reference to issue order.
I am sure, now your flow will be in line with the standard process.
    Thanks
    G. Lakshmipathi
ps:-  think you took most of my today's time ::).  no problem in turn, I am also checking my capability in this process.  reward if this really useful

    DIVISION = 00
    Reference document number.
Please suggest me right way of approach.

    Hi,
In SAP, when the sub-sequent document is existing , we can not cancel the preceeding document. Therefore if you want to cancel the billing document you need to calcel the documents which are created with reference to that.

  • Collective posting of Inbound Delivery with reference to External ID

    Hi,
I have created few Inbound Delivery (for different PO) with same External ID reference.
Now when I try to process these Inbound Delivery through T. Code: VL06IG with reference to External ID, system doesnot consider any Inbound Delivery.
The External Identification Type used is "Free usage".
I have checked in the Inbound delivery all the informations are correctly copied. for e.g. the storage location, etc. Also the Storage location is WM activated
Can you please help me if I am missing any settings.

First of all I want to clarify this transaction will pick deliveries which are ready for goods receipt.Tat means pick and confirmation should be completed. Now you have to check all your inbound deliveries which has same external id Picking and confirmation completed ?.If yes are you entering same test external id which is in delivery in report.Just copy test in delivery and paste the text in report.System will pick those deliveries.Text is case sensitive.so you should type text correctly.I have tested your scenario and it is working fine.

  • Adding item positions with reference to contract in sales order

    Hi all,
I would be very grateful if some of you could help on this:
I have a requirement to add lines with reference to a contract while the user is creating or modificating it via VA01 or VA02. The logic flow will be as follows:
if the user enters a new item position with reference to a contract, and the qty entered exceeds the qty in the position selected of the contract, we have to skip the standard error message and try to spli the quantities in several positions with the same material in the contract.
    As an example:
the contract 000000000001 has 5 lines:
    line     material       qty
    01       mat1           100
    02       mat1           50
    03       mat1           50
    04       mat2           n/a
    05       mat2           n/a
if the user picks up the line 02 of the contract to create a new line in the sales order, and enters 180 as qty, the sap standard will raise an error, saying the qty has exceeded the contract qty. Ok, we have to skip that error (maybe could we set it as a warning??) and 'split' the qty as follows:
in the sales orders, 3 lines will be created automatically
    line    material     qty
         mat1         100
         mat1         50
         mat1         30
and of course, the released quantities in the contract must be updated: i.e the contract should be as follows:
    line     material       available qty
    01       mat1           0
    02       mat1           0
    03       mat1           20
    Any ideas? : )
What i've done by the moment is to check is that 'split' is possible, in userexit_save_document. If not (e.g. if the user enters 220 for mat1 in the previous example), a custom error will appear. If it is possible, then the sales order will be created (only with the line the uswer entered) and I will trigger somehow a FM processed in background to modify the sales order.
my question now is: how can i add lines to the created sales order, making reference to some contract lines?
I've seen BAPI BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2 is used to create a document with reference, but can i use it to MODIFY an existing sales order?
any help would be greatly appreciated.
thanks a lot for your help.
    regards.

    Hello,
there's a function module called 'BAPI_SALESORDER_CHANGE', which could change a sales order. The problem could be,that these BAPI's enque the salesorder. So if you start them in background via an userexit, you have to be sure that the salesorder is updated and dequeued by posting.
An other way could be to use the exit 'userexit_check_vbap' in MV45AFZB. It's called after creating a new position or changing a position. All existing positions at that time in a internal table 'XVBAP', which you could change. (But be carefull, that you don't create an endless loop !).
The check about the contract quantity is in a form routine called 'vbep-wmeng_pruefen_folgebeleg(sapfv45e)'.
Have a look into the form 'vbap_pruefen_ende' in FV45PFAP_VBAP_PRUEFEN_ENDE. There's the whole thing done including the call of the userexit.

  • Return Order with reference to Proforma invoice

    Dear All
Is it possible to create a return order with reference to proforma invoice. How ?? if possible.
Our scenario is when we do stock transfer order and truck meets with an accident or anything and material needs to written to the factory premises. we dont want to complete proforma invoice.
    Suggestions PLZZ
    Regards-
    Ram

I don't see any the relevance or logic of creating of return order from proforma invoice.
You can follow - Returns flow:
PO type is same ( Intercompany STO PO type is NB )
While you make this PO there is a return indicator check box at the line item where you will give qty etc (scroll on the rt side)
    Tick that
Then save the PO with all other information
There is a configuration Return delivery type has to be assigned
    IMG-MM-Purchasing-PO-Returns Order-Return Plant to Plant
Here for your plant you need to assign delivery type as NCR This config is reqd to be done from your end
    So, the Flow would be
    - ME21N (with returns indicator)
    -VL10B
-VL02N (delivery type will be NCR ) & do a PGR here
-VF01 do billing with reference to delivery created
I Category in del will be NCRN & M type will be 673
If you are using standard document types system will pick billing type as IG which is nothing but a intercompany credit memo
Copy controls between NCR and IG in VTFL is already there in standard
For understanding also, refer following link:
    return process intercompany stock transfer
    Hope this can assist you.

  • Reg: confirmed qty in sales order

    Hi SD gurus,
I have an issue in confirmed qty. I have created the sales order with the qty 27900 but the system has confirmed 26100, but the delivered qty in schedule lines is 27900 and i am able to deliver 27900 qty. why the system has allowed me to deliver greater than the confirmed qty.
In general system will allowed to deliver  less than or equal to the confirmed qty.
Please provide me your valuable inputs on this.
    Thanks and regards,
    Hari Challa.

    Dear Hari
It is really surprising that despite "B" is maintained for item category, you could do PGI in excesss of stock quantity.
Please check in VTFL copy control for the combination of your delivery type and billing type and check for the following:-
    At Header Level
    Copying requirements::::003
    Determ.export data::::::::(Blank)
    Assignment Number:::::::E
    Reference number::::::::::E
Similarly, select the item category and see what is maintained for the field "Billing quantity".  It should have been "B" there.  Similarly, below there is one more field "Pos./neg.quantity".  It should have been "+" there.
    thanks
