Planned revenue not update in project

Dear All
I have a scenario project triggered from sales order. When my sales order saved my project get triggered in background and my planned revenue from sales order automatically flow in project report. Up till now I donu2019t have any issue.
Now my client required milestone billing activate in system. I have done necessary configuration to activate milestone billing and also maintain revenue element for billing plan in planning profile with element type 11. When I create milestone for activity and maintain invoicing percentage its copy to my billing plan in sales order but now my planned revenue not flow in report.
Please let me know any specific option which I have missed out.

    Hi,
    My client has scenario like he creates projects manually and when he creates any sales order, he assign this sales order to the project though account assignment tab.
    The plan revenue for the project comes from sales order billing plan.
    The issue is the billing plan is not updating project plan revenue. Even if there is a billing plan, project report S_ALR_87013543 shows there is no revenue.
    Please tell me if there is any link between sales order billing plan and project plan revenue.
    How can I resolve this issue?

    I think you have not maintained planning profile in project definition.
    Goto project and  check planning profile in control data.
    We can create planning profile in OPSB t.code.  Select the fields Quotation and sales order in +Automatic revenue planning segment+ and assign revenue element.
    Now create a sales order with billing plan and check S_ALR_87013543 report.

  • Cost Centre Plan data not updating FAGLFLEXT

    Dear Experts,
    In our production environment, our cost centre plan is not updating FAGLFLEXT table. Profit centre plan using GP12N is fine.
    We are using the New GL and have FIN-CCA and FIN-PCA scenario activated.
    Integrated planning is ticked in the planning versions for both Controlling and New GL Plan versions.
    Controlling plan version and New GL plan version have the same name.
    In table Controlling table COSP, I can see the plan data on business transaction type RKP1.
    I expect to see it in FAGLFLEXT with RKP1 but I see no plan values at all.
    In fact, in the previous 3 environments, we have not had this problem and cost centre plan and actual has updated FAGLFLEXT. Only in Production...

    Dear Ravi,
    I don't think this is the problem.
    It seems that:
    - the CC plan was created -> it updated CO tables e.g. COSP -> no update to FAGLFLEXT
    - the CC plan was deleted -> it updated CO tables with negative value -> updated FALFLEXT with negative value
    -the CC plan was update again -> it updated CO table -> updated FAGLFLEXT and balance with negative value is zero
    - the CC plan was deleted again -> it updated CO tabe with negative value -> FAGLFLEXT  is in minus value!
    It seems like somewhere between first and second steps, the scenario FIN-CCA was not behaving like it was active!
    Have you come across this before?

  • Planned Cost & Planned revenue - Not displaying data in Bex.

    Hi BW Experts,
    I have installed 0PS_C04_Q002 query from the business Content and loaded the data for the Cube 0PS_C04.
    While executing the query, I am not getting data for Planned Cost and Planned revenue. I am getting data for Actual Cost and Actual revenue. As I am using standard restricted key figures, I am not getting the data. Can you please help on this Issue.

    Is the load successful to the cube?
    Did u check the data in the cube?
    Is the data populated fine?
    Otherwise check the properties of Planned Cost and Planned Revenue by changing the Infoobjects. And check the lengths given and the datatypes. Compare them with the length and the datatypes of the fields u  are retrieving from your source system.

  • Commitments Not updated in projects side

    Hi all, I've created one invoice and validated , and after that i've run PRC: Update Project Summary Amounts and PRC: Interface Supplier Costs programs for that project. But stil the prjects side the commitments not updated when i check in PSI screen . Please advise.

    Well, entering an accounts payable invoice and moving to job cost will update actual cost amount, not commitment amount. Commiitments, generally speaking, come from the Purchasing/Procurement module in any ERP software that I have seen, including Oracle. The general situation that creates a commitment is when you create a Purchase Order in Purchasing. That indicates you have placed an order to buy something and thus have a "commitment" to pay for it when it arrives. Once the order is received and cost is incurred, the commitment is reversed and actual project cost is updated. You don't see commitments in accounts payable because when you enter the invoice, you will debit Cost and Credit Liability.
    When you create a purchase order, there is no general ledger entry created at that time. Thus the concept of committed cost was developed for project accounting to indicate to project management that you do have a pending cost. By adding commitment amount + actual cost amount, the project manager could see his total expected cost. If you also have budgeting active, you could set up to set an error if Committed cost + Actual Cost is > Budget Amount.
    Look at the Project Costing User Guide. Search for the word "Commit" to get more information about commitments. In the EBS 11i guide, there is a section called "Overview of Expenditures" that gives examples of expenditures and commitments. Chapter 7 also has the integration to Oracle Purchasing information and talks a bit about commitments in there.

  • TOC not updating when project is saved

    The Table of Contents is not saving when project is saved. To see saved changes, I have to close and reopen.

    Just to be clear, this *IS* RoboHelp HTML, no?
    In RoboHelp HTML, there is no dynamic link between the TOC items and Topic Names. Sure, if you rename the File Name in a topic so the HTML file name changes, it will automatically update the TOC so that the link isn't broken. But the TOC elements are stored in a separate file completely. So I'm really confused as to what you are seeing or expect to see. Once you have a topic in the TOC, the TOC node may represent the Topic Title. Perhaps:
    How to confgure the gizmo.
    But if you later change that Topic Title to read:
    How to configure the widget
    The TOC will not change automagickally. You will have to either re-run the wizard to create a new TOC or you will need to manually edit the TOC node so it is now correct.

  • HT6012 iMovie 10.0.6 not updating old projects after upgrade

    I upgraded my kids iMac to Yosemite, and upgraded iMovie to the latest version. Existing events and projects weren't showing up, so I did the step outlined to update the projects and events from previous versions. My events are there, but the projects aren't. i've verified they are all there in the top level directory for Movies, just like the folder with the old "iMovie Events" but it doesn't seem to want to pull them in. Is there any other way to get my old projects into this new version of iMovie?

    Hi I had the same issue and fixed it with deleting "UpdatedtoiMovie10" see step 4.
    n the Finder, click the Go menu and choose Home.
    Open the Movies folder.
    Move the “iMovie Library” file to the Trash.
    Note: If you have imported content or created projects with iMovie version 10.0, do not delete this file.
    In the iMovie Projects and iMovie Events folders, you’ll find a file named “UpdatedtoiMovie10.” Move this file to the Trash from both folders.
    Open iMovie.
    Choose File > Update Projects and Events.

  • Revenue not update in the project

    Dear All
    I had created the Project  and i had assigned to the sales order in account assignment  tab.Then i have created Billing with reference to sales order and i had checked in report i can't able to see the Plan and actual revenue for the proejct.Here we are useing milestone type of billing.In the planning profile i had ticked bottomup planning i had selected annual values And i had ticked automatic revenue planning from sales order Please guide me to solve this error

    check with your FI consultant what is the revenue element type - should be 11 not 1
    also check the account determination entries in sales order - does the sales order determine the revenue account - if that is correct than this should be reported against the assigned WBS (billing element). In sales order go to Environment -> Analysis -> Account determination - check the GL account determined
    In planning profile maintain revenue from sales order - in this case revenue element maintenance in planning profile is not required
    also remember to assign the billing plan for the line item else there will be no revenue against the WBS

  • Planned quantity not updated in the report.....

    We have created a production order and entered the qty as 10. After that partial confirmation is done and WIP calculated. Now during month end when we ran the report KKAQ, it is reflecting both Planned qty and GR qty as ZERO.
    Can anybody let me know how system updated the Plan qty and GR qty in KKAQ reprot. is there any OSS note which provide the more details on KKAQ report or is it link with confirmation/system status.....
    Does the plan Qty in KKAQ will update immediately after the Prodcution order creation......

    In MC7F choose the info S025 and click on details
    There in System parameters remove the tick for "key figure restricted DB update:off" if selected.
    Probably this may be the reason for your Problem

  • Project Revenue Plan Not Update from Sales Order Item

    I am generating a network and project from the sales order item using Assembly processing. I am using milestone billing on the sales order item and the milestones attached to the project network activities are appearing as billing blocks on the sales order item billing plan. However, the project revenue is not getting updated from the sales order billing plan. Can someone please help?
    I have deleted the billing plan on the billing WBS element and activated revenue planning update from sales order in cusomization for PS. I am looking at CNS41 under the project revenue sched in version 0. Is there a different report I should be looking at?

    HI Venkat,
    You are looking at the correct report & I believe you have also done the necessary customization. If you create a sales order and reference it to a quotation, the related plan values in the WBS element are refreshed automatically.
    When the payment data is recorded, the terms of payment and the customer payment history are taken into consideration. One of the probable causes could be the credit limit of the customer might have been exceeded. Take help of your SD consultant & increase the credit limit for that customer (from the sales document), t-code FD32 if it is permitted in the business.
    After the new credit limit is set execute the following steps:
    u2022     Go to the t-code Change billing request (VA02)
    u2022     Open the required billing request
    u2022     Remove the account assignment of WBS element from each line item
    u2022     Save the billing request
    u2022     Reopen the billing request in change mode
    u2022     Reassign the WBS elements to all line items
    u2022     Now the changed credit limit will take affect
    u2022     Check the Planned Revenue for the said project in CNS41, it should get updated.

  • Captivate 6 - Updating template does not update project

    I am just learning Captivate 6 and have started by creating a theme and then a template.  If I create a project file using the template and then go back and make a change to a graphic in the template should it automatically update the project file or do I have to apply the template to the project file again some how?  Currently if I make a change to the template it does not update the project file.

    Have you ever inserted a document into a copier and made a copy?
    If so, this is really the way Captivate templates work. They are designed so you have a consistent look and feel to projects you create from them. So returning back to the copier analogy, once a copy has been made, any changes to the original are NOT reflected in the copy created from the original. But future copies WILL have the changes as the copies were made from the altered original.
    Likewise, any changes to the Captivate template are only reflected in the Template as well as Future projects you create using the template. Once created, there is no longer any association with the template.

  • Why planned revenues is being changed because of credit block on sales orde

    HI,
    when project is blocked because of credit limit the planned revenue disappears from the project. Planned revenues should not be blocked at all, when the project is created. Planned revenues should not be changed because of credit limit. Now the planned revenues disappear from the project when customer is blocked due to credit limit. This is not correct. Planned revenues should only be changed if billing plan is changed.
    Planned revenues for project is updated only when the sales order is released from the credit block. However if  the sales order is blocked due to the credit limit again and planned revenues disappears. When we release the sales order, planned revenues is updated again. This should not happen. Once it is updated it has to remain on the project.
    Kindly help if anyone knows.

    If you make price change in sale order and customer falls under credit category that will impose credit block.
    Moreover if you are changing price in sale order that will also affect your billing plan accordingly.
    Since plan revenue is coming from pricing in sale order that means it should also get update.
    lets wait for other post also, we may come to know other possiblities as wel.

  • Updating task does not update project plan

    In PWA, the following steps are taken
    User updates their time in the task window for a task, than submits this task
    The PM approves the time entry from approval center
    The PM then opens the project from PWA or Project pro and the time that approved for this task is not showing up in the project plan
    This happens in all projects
    Project server is not configured with SEM
    At queue jobs, Job state is "Skipped For Optimization" for status update jobs
    Why is the project not recognizing the time entry?

    I am running into this same issue with PWA 2013.  I publish a task, have the resource update it via my tasks in PWA, then Open Pro and Check Progress.  Pro redirects me to the Approvals page in PWA.  I approve the task update, Pro pops several
    message windows asking me to wait while the update is processed.  The update processiong finishes and...
    No progress indicated.  No actual work indicated.  I have tried opening the Working vs. Published version of the schedule.  No difference.  It appears to be something specific to this project schedule, as other schedules work just fine. 
    I have multiple resource assignments on the task in question.  I've checked the assignmnet dates, updated task progress in PWA using various methods including work earlier than planned, as planned, work less than planned, anything to get Pro to reflect
    the update.  Pro rcognizes that there IS an update, indicated in the File / Backstag (Updates pending indicator) but it will not process them. 
    Personally I think the assignment level date in the DB is not being handled when accessed by PRO.  All the data is right if you look in PWA.

    The behavior you are seeing on your system is correct system behavior.                                                                               
    The system rolls costs/revenues up to the assigned wbs element                
    if an order or network activity is flagged for deletion so you                
    can archive orders/networks while the project is still 'alive' without        
    loosing information on costs/revenues.                                        
    The logic is that costs of deleted networks should not get lost but are       
    rolled up to the superior wbs-element.                                                                               
    SAP has the understanding that released activities are used immediately,      
    carry actual costs and, therefore, can not be deleted. To keep the            
    objects clearly arranged the reorganization run can be used to move           
    some objects (those with status DLFL) to the archive without losing           
    data (in the meaning of costs).                                                                               
    If you want to remove these costs of the WBS elements you have                
    to cancel the deletion flag of these networks, remove the planned costs       
    start network costing and save. You can then set the DLFL again and           
    the costs will not appear in the structure report.

    i am assigning the WBS element in my value contract general.I need to get this value reflected in the PS report S_ALR_87013542 in the  planned revenue .i am not able to acheive this.i am using a service material with item cat TAD.
    when i create a sales order type ZOT copied from standard order OR and assign the WBS element i am able to get the planned value in the above PS report.could anyone guide me how to get the same in value contract general.

    Kindly do following checks
    check your planning/Revenue profile i.e. OPSB whether revenue from Sales Order is ticked in that.
    Also checkk if WBS is a billing element.
    Check Tcode OLPE.
    If problem, still persists, then refer following SAP Notes
    - Note 96404 - VA01/21/41: No quotation value/order value/planned revenue
    FYI - How does the planned revenue update for contracts work?
    Contracts have customer quotation character - their planned revenues are reduced completely by the first contract release order.Since the value of the first contract release order does not correspond to the complete contract value in general, the planned revenue is consequently reduced.
