Planner Order routing deletion

Hi,
In a Production Order initially the number of routing operations are 6, now the requirement is to change the Routing from 6 to 3. We can do it in the Production order change or after release, but can we do it in the planned order stage.

Hi,
- First make the required changes in routing itself.
- Then Check in your existing plan orders.You will find updates routing data in plan orders also.
If operation are reduced then it will update automatically but if you have incrise the operations then you have to rerun the MRP using planning mode 03 (delete and recreate)

Actually you have to check the scheduling type while taking the MRP run. If its basic schedulinf(1) then routing will not get selected. But if it is Lead time scheduling(2) then it should get selected. And if it is still not getting selected then check whether you have maintained the values for std keys in routine. Theses values should be maintained for selection of routing.
For the existing planned orders you can go to the change mode and click on scheduling button. Automatically detailed scheduling tab will appear with coresponding work center. If not then check the log for the same.

Try with t-code COOISPI. In selection,Put material no and system status(sel. at header level) as DLFL
and also check "with deeltion flag indicator"

Changes in poduction order,routing not updating in product cost estimate

Dear SAP Gurus,
i had done mto thru sale order and done some changes in production order,routing,and not updated the standard costestimate of newly updated can anybody tell me the procedure of updating the routings and production orders after production order released .
pls help me the standard cost estimate how to get updated while changing the routing,production order.

How is an Order Routing rule connected to the IC Webclient Profile

I created a simple ERMS order routing rule that If priority equals very high then route to John Smith whom is assigned to the IC Web position in PPOMW.
When I create a service ticket and mark it very high and choose the ESCALATE button the message no rule for routing was found.
I don't see anyway to connect this rule to our IC Webclient profile, or why the rule wasn't envoked. Will give points.

Yes, you are correct. In addition to creating a Rule Modeler policy via the IC Manager role (accessible from the BSP view or Enterprise Portal), the business user also needs to request that IT (or someone) add the name of the Rule Modeler policy as an attribute of the RE_RULE_EXEC service for the applicable Service Manager profile in the IMG configuration for the relevant Rule Modeler context (Order Routing, ERMS, etc.). I certainly agree with you that the business user and the IT user as generally two different people. And if they are the same person, Sarbanes Oxley probably has something to say about that Your point is definitely valid. Perhaps in the future we need to be more considerate of the distinction of job responsibilities of business user versus IT user when designing products and solutions.
By the way, just as an aside... some Rule Modeler contexts can only use one Service Manager profile (for example Order Routing must always use a Service Manager profile called "SAP_ORDERROUTING") while other contexts can use multiple Service Manager profiles. For example, as of CRM 2005 (CRM 5.0) it is possible in transaction CRMC_ERMS_SM_PDET to assign different Service Manager profiles directly to different inbound email addresses for ERMS. And by assigning a different Rule Modeler policy to each Service Manager profile, you can use different root/default Rule Modeler policies for each incoming email address.

How can we restrict users from marking service orders as deleted

Please guide me :
Is it possible to restrict users (who are having authorization of marking service orders as deleted) from marking some service orders as deleted, if they have not created these service orders?
In other words, requirement is : only the person creating the Service Order should be authorized to delete.
Please guide.

when i query the purchase order even in history table the PO is not avaialble. why?
The table i queried
In release r12

FROM apps.po_history_all

Your po archive is probably be set to Archive on "approval" or "communicate".
Since you deleted the po before approving, it never got archived.
Check your document types in PO Setup menu.

Automatic purchase order deletion after SD order is deleted

Hi forum,
I managed to get the automatic purchase order creation to work. Now I have a few issues about it.
- why is the workflow not deleted after the sd order is deleted?
- why is the purchase requisition not deleted after the sd order is deleted?

If you delete the sd order, then automatically purchase requisition will get deleted.
First you delete the sales order, and do the MRP Run - MD02 and view the requirement at MD04. Automatically requiement will get deleted.

Hailiang,
Its not possible to revoke the deletion flag.
so you need to create new orders, and thats why its being suggested that think twice before setting deletion flag.
if you are not sure with the orders you can set TECO , and it can ve easily revokeas and when required.

Rule Modeler, Order Routing - Partner function to update ?

Hi,
I have configured order routing in rule modeler based on categories to determine the org unit to which the order should get routed too.
On execution, the partner function 'SLFN0003 - Support Team' gets changed to the BP for the org unit.
My question is - I cannot find any link between Order routing and Partner function SLFN0003 - How does the system know that it needs to update this partner fucntion only ?
If I create my own Z Parnter function, how can I get the order routing to change this partner function type ?
Any help will be appriciated.

Solution: Problem solved. Error was the name of the attribute. It has to be POST_CODE1_IB
and not ZPOST_CODE1_IB.

What do you mean for Service Order ? If it is part of marketing documents, then you may use Document Owner Authorizations.

Transport Order to delete Update Rule

Hi,
we got a problem with a transport order to delete a Update Rule.
- The delete process was saved on a order A with other objects on it.
- Order A was released but not imported.
- Now we need to transport the delete process without the other objects on the order A.
We try creating a new order B and include all the objects from order A, so we can delete on order B the objects that we don't want to transport. The problem is that the update rules copied to order B doesn't have the delete function asigned.
How can we solve it.

In such extreme cases you can change the target directly (QA and P).
you can delete the Upd Rules in QA and P and then just
transport the new Upd Rules.
This is not recommended but some times its the best and easiest solution.

we are using planning strategy 21 ; make to order : projects.
all the activities are w r t proejcts.
in sale order if i put 4 quantity for material; when i run MRP system should create 4 different plann orders but against the same project and same material. is it possible ?

You can use the Lot -size FX in the material master MRP 1VIEW. and enter the fised lost size as 1 in the field.
Check this sap help.
Fixed lot size
Quantity that will be ordered or produced in the event of a shortage.
Procedure
If the amount of the shortage is less than the fixed lot size, it is the fixed lot size that is ordered or produced (and not the lesser quantity that is actually required).
If the amount of the shortage is greater than the fixed lot size, a multiple of the fixed lot size is procured. The system creates several purchase order proposals for this purpose.
