Planning doubt
Hi all,
I have a scenario where I have many employees assigned to a cost center and that cost center is part of a org unit. I am in charge of planning for both the org units as shown below. I should be able to see the Excel input schedule as shown below.
the same input shceudle would be used for other managers ( the input shcedule display their respective cost centers, orgunits and employees). When entering data for empl 1, it should update only org1, cost1, 2011.jan for emp1 and not the rest. Is it possible to achieve the same?

I have done 'explain plan' for this query:-

which is having indexes on all the four columns of the 2 tables used: LATEST_SIM_SERIAL_NO,SIM_SERIAL_NO,MOBILE_NO,
MOBILE_NO.
But only 1 index on mobile no. of ppbs_mobile_detail is firing.
Is that, indexes on only 1 table should fire.
I hope, my question is clear. Please help in solving the doubt.

i tried, @?/rdbms/admin/utlxplan.sql but it was giving a error like 'unable to open file "?/rdbms/admin/utlxplan.sql"'.
So, i re-created the table.
I gave both the analyze statements,

1)How the sales history flow from cube to Interactive forecasting screen(in spp,like dp in apo there is no Planning area to store data and no load planning area from cube,so please let me know how it will sales history load data?)
2)Does Sales History of the child location will agregated to entry level ? if so like that we need to run statistical forecats at entry location?
3)where we will create the from and To Product(eg:Maping Product A to Product B ) to do the Relignment /Phase in profile/Interchangebility
4)What is the leading indicator forecasting and the purpose?
5)Where data will store in SPP (forecasting and other data like liveache in dp)? Mpos and Planning area is not there in SPP?

Travel Planning Doubt...
Hi All,
I am new to Travel Management, We need to make a Travel Planning for a month in advance is it possible to do with out Travel Planning object, which the user has to raise his / her plan through ESS. and this Travel Planning should be done without online booking etc.
Note: we are going only with Travel Request and Travel Expenses.

Travel planning is nothing but employee books his own flight, train, etc through the reservation system like amadeus, etc.
And if you dont want the above to be done by employee, then you have to go for travel management where employee will enter his / her travel request and it goes for approval and then travel team books the flight, etc for employee.
In travel management you can book travel request anytime and there is no restriction.

Doubts on Planned HU created against sales order in HUPP3
Hi Experts,
I have following doubt on Planned HU creation using HUPP3 (since i am using this transaction for the first time and not sure if the client has done any modifications)
1. Is it standard to pack more than one sales order line items in one HU using HUPP3
I have a scenario in which business is creating one HU for more than one line items of a sales order (shipping point for all the line items is same).
The issue is in HU the VEKP_NTGEW & VEKP_BRGEW fields takes the weight of first line items of the HU only.
If the above packing process is standard have any one had this kind of issue? Please share suggest the solution.

In standard SAP through HUPP3 only one line item of a sales order can be packed into one HU -

I believe i misunderstood your first post. I had given the BAPI parameters that you need to fill up for the given business requirements you have mentioned. I realized you were asking about the POS.
Answer to Q1: You can not place time characteristics in the POS. You will define the "time characteristics" in your Planning Area by specifying a relevant storage bucket profile.
Answer to Q2: You dont need to add time characteristics in the POS.
Answer to Q3: 9AVERSION is not included in the POS. However, when you use BAPIs BAPI_PBSRVAPS_GETDETAIL and BAPI_PBSRVAPS_CHANGEKEYFIGVAL to read/write data from/to the planning area you need to supply a selection for the planning version (9AVERSION).

Doubts in Organizational Plan in SUS

I need your help. I am working in a SUS implementation (for SRM 5.0). I have been checking about the definition of the organizational plan in SUS and I have doubts.
I checked that is essential the vendor organization in transaction PPOCV_BBP, could you tell me if I have to define the same in SRM an SUS??
Also, I checked and It is necessary define purchasing organization (PPOMA_BBP) and I want to know if I need to define all the purchasing organization from SRM

IvanIf you look at the names of the components of SRM , you can realise what khan says easily.
SRM is a broad term and comprises further components
EBP Enterprise Buyer Professional
SUS Supplier self services &
ROS Registration of suppliers
All these functionalities or software components are bundled in SRM server
so technically can be bundled on client
but not advised by SAP for security reasons
Now the purchasing client (or server ) is EBP
responcible for purchasing
so should have the purchasing organisation and depts
and internal users with necessary attributes.
SUS client (or server) is for vendor data
so should have vendor root node with necessary attributes.

Doubt In PCA Planning...
HI Experts,
I have 2 doubt on Profit center planning.
1)We are in ECC6 but WHY my client is doing PCA planning ?
As per my knowledge,After new GL it will be GL planning.
2)If i will plan Cost element XYZ in Cost center with 10000rs amount attached PC is ABC.
and I will plan xyz GL in PC ABC with 5000rs throgh GL/PCA planning.
What Amount will be shown in Profit center ABC for XYZ GL .It will be 15000 or 10000 or 50000.

I have maintained the formula SAP004, in capacity tab other formula field and also in scheduling tab other formula field.
I have checked in transaction OP21 for SAP004 the following parameters are applicable:
Formula : SAP_10
Indicators: Tick on Generate, Allowed for caluculation, Work center capacity requirement, Allowed for scheduling.
In transaction OP17, for the formula SAP_10 the following parameters are applicable.
Parameter: SAP_10
Origin General operation value
Attributes:
Parameter text Duration
Keyword Other formula
Dimension TIME
Standard Value 0
Standard value unit MIN
Field name DAUNO
Please suggest me if anything is wrong here.

E-Recruiting 604 Doubt about the planning of the background job.
Hi,
We are on E-Rec 604 with seperated standlone e-rec system.
I did the initial transfer of the Org Management data through PFAL from ECC to E-Recruit and all were ok.
Now I have to planed the job for the future changes.
This is my doubt, I just have to plan the program RBDMIDOC in the HR system, or should I add something more?.
Please somebody could guide me?.

there are some more configuration steps for the regular update after the initial load.
Probably already done by you is the activation of the change pointers for the message type otherwise RBDMIDOC won't create any IDoc.
Additional settings to the ALE you should apply to the system:
- In the e-recruiting system, go to the partner profile settings for the ALE. Open the inbound parameters for the message type and switch radio button in the "process by function module" section from trigger immediatly to trigger by background program.
- Create a variant for report RBDAPP01 on the e-rec system setting the package size to 1
- Plan the report RBDAPP01 as job on the e-recruiting system to process the incomming IDocs
Ensure in the job scheduling of RBDMIDOC and RBDAPP01 that both are running before midnight and the RBDMIDOC is running before RBDAPP01 of course.
Additional E-Recruiting settings you have to do:
- schedule HRALXSYNC on the e-rec system as daily job
- Ensure that the e-rec periodical service PROCESS_CAND_STATUS_CHANGE (class CL_HRRCF_UPDATE_P_STAT) is activated in the e-rec customizing under E-Recruiting -> Technical Settings -> Periodical Services

Doubts in Organization Plan!
Hello Experts!
I would like to known if there is the possibility to associate one purchase groupe for many companies in PPOMA_BBP?
Because when I try to associated the purchase group for other companies, it show up the error message
Purchasing group XXX in system SXRXXXXXX already assigned to XXXXXXX
Is there a form/way to divide the time for many purchase groups, because in our scenarrio of bussines one purchase group can buy for all companies.

In my Organization Plan the scenario was defined with 3 company codes and for each company code one purchase organization (under). I create one purchase group only and i associated in one purchase organization.
I found that field in responsability tab and I associated in organization responsability the ID reference for 2 companys codes. This procedure is right? Now Can I make the pruchase procedure using this purchase group for others companys codes?

Planning in planning run procedure doubt

I am new to APO i have a doubt for planning in planning run procedure.
I was going through the SCM250 PP/DS and i found this in the book for planning in planning run procedure
"You use this setting, for example, if you do not want to trigger production from the
ATP check in the CTP scenario for this product"
I lost in this.
Can some one please elaborate the meaning for above it would be highly appreciable?

In APO PP, there is bit of Master Data called "Planning Procedure". Planning Procedure can influence when planning is done. You can trigger a heuristic to be executed automatically, based on defined events. One of the events that can trigger an automatic heuristic is an ATP check Planning Procedures can be assigned to a Product in the Product Master.

In APO, there is a specialized type of availability check (ATP) which is called Capable To Promise (CTP). In CTP, it is common to assign a Planning Procedure that immediately covers dependent requirements. This means that upon ATP, the system will generally automatically create a planned order, schedule it, and generate dependent demand.

These types of automatic planning are totally separate from a planning run. It is possible to run a product line with only automatic planning, only planning run planning, or various combinations of both types of planning.

Doubt in Benefit Insurance plan enrollment with respect to Validity periods

i have completed all nodes with respect to Insurance benefit plans.When im trying to enroll insurance palns through HRBEN0001,problem is occuring.In the enrollment screen 2 validaty periods are showing the system
(02-01-2000 to 07-08-2007),(07-09-2007 to 12-31-9999).
What is my mistake..Please advise me.

You have nothing done any mistake. As the 2 records are meant for may be he is having 2 different plans during these 2 periods..

Doubts - PCP/PCPS - Personnel Cost Planning and Simulation
Hi gurus,
How are you? I hope you are very well.
Currently I'm working in PCP and Simulation implementation project. Actually, in our case, the client is using the old component PCP and would like to implementing the new one.
Basically, we have the following scenario here: They have two tables for store some premisses (T511K and P) and, before the scheduled period for PCP execution, they run a simulated Payroll in order to generate calculated values for the future, it means, the values from payroll are calculated for the next year and the payroll rules uses these mentioned tables to change the values in specific months of the next year. Confused? I agree, but it can become worst...
After this execution, the calculated data are stored in logical DB PCL5 and can be used by PCP process. According the payroll responsable told me, each wage type will be associated automaticlly(How???) in a cost item and these meintioned cost items are used during the PCP running. In this current version of PCP, they do not use values associated to Organizational Elements, but they would like to use this from now on although they do not use infotypes 1005 or 1015.
So, I have a lot of doubts related to two specific points:
- Wage Types x Cost Itens: Could I keep all the current cost itens without associate each of these to a simbolic account? Is this association mandatory or can I create cost itens just collecting data from PCL5, for example? Does exists any standard collector for PCL5? If I need to create new simbolic accounts specifics for PCP, how can I do this in order to the real payroll do not be affected by these changes?
- Organizational Elements: Wich infotypes are mandatory? Are there any kind of collector that uses an occupied position as a template for a vacant position, I mean, can I use a hold position to find calculated values for a Person that is associated to this position and populate a similar vacant position? If is it posible, does exists something standard for providing this solution?
I would appreciate if you could help me. I have been reading many materials from SAP, but unfortunally these practical questions was not answered for me yet.
