BAPI KPF6 POST PLAN COST FOR INTERNAL ORDER AND COST ELEMENT
Hi all gurus,
I would like to use in a custom report a BAPI/Function Module that help me to simulate KPF6 in order to post planning costs for internal order and cost element (layout 1-401).
So the input should be:
1) Version
2) period from
3) periodo to
4) year
5) internal order n.
6) cost element n.
7) value
I found a lot of BAPI but don't know the correct one and how to use it (example how to fill the input value).
Can anyone help me on that?

Raw Material Item and Finished Goods Items
I need to write a query which gives me the Raw Material Item and the Finished Goods Items.
Which table contains this kind of data. Raw Material Item is Processed and a Finished Goods Item is produced, so i need all raw materials items which went into the resulting Finished Good.I figured out the answer to my own question. The BOM_INVENTORY_COMPONENTS table has information about the components (raw parts), and the BOM_BILL_OF_MATERIALS table has information about the assemblies (finished goods). The two tables join via the BILL_SEQUENCE_ID column. Here's an example query:

Button condition on page item and Validation error Conflict
Hi,
I have a select list page item and a button on page whose condition is based on the select list page item value(eg, If (:P2_item1='val1'){return true;}) with condition type=PL/SQL function returning boolean. This buttons submits the page.
It' coming fine in normal case. However, if I select some value val2 from the list and then click the button, and if there are any validation errors (like mandatory check or email check fail etc), then the button disappears because it evaluates the button condition based on the changed value(val2), but the page has not yet been submitted because of validation errors.
I think this can be solved if I create the button condition based upon database column value instead of page item as db col value won't change until the page is submitted.
This look like very basic use-case and I would like to know if there is any better solution to this problem.
Note: I am using Apex 4.2.1I don't want to show/hide the button on the change of the page item lov value, so i am not using Dynamic action.
What i was is to make button visible based on a condition(which is based on page item), for which we have condition attribute of a button available.
This is a very common thing where a user chooses the button condition as Value of item/column in expression 1 is null/expr2. But what if the user changes the page item value but it doesn't get submit due to validation error. In that case, the button condition fails.
So, i guess i have to use column name in expression 1, can u tell how to do that?
Expression 1 = IF (:P2_STATUS='val1') then return true;
How to change the above to use db column 'status' instead? Any direct way(like #Status#) or I have to query db to get it using select.
Any alternative approach? -

I am looking for a report to check the GL accounts and the cost elements. I want to check if the cost element is been created for all the GL accounts and incase if I missed on the cost element for any GL account then I should create it.
Is there any standard report or even if I have to check 2 reports that would be fine.

1. If automatic creation of the cost element is selected in your chart of accounts then you check it out list in transaction OKB2 where there is less scope to miss the creation of cost elements.
2. If it was not activated or activated later then take the GL Account list from SKB1 and cost element list from CSKA and use VLOOKUP functionality of excel.
Creating query will not help here because filed GL Account and Cost element are different even though they have the same value.

a non material item can be a text item but it can be also a service item.
This depends from your customizing. Which item type is relevant for your non material item.
In the item type you can maintain if an item is relvant for pricing or not.
Please have a look in transaction VOV7. Here you can set the flag 'Pricing'.
This flag can have the following specification:
Blank No pricing
X Pricing standard
A Pricing for empties
B Pricing for free goods (100% discount)

Difference between Material type and Item category
What is the difference between Material type and Item category?
We can differentiate different kind of materails according to material type then why do we have Item category which is also more or less on the same lines.
Both can be considered as a terminology in SAP to group similar kind of materials.

We can list out so many differences.
When you create a material master record, the material type you choose determines:
- Whether the material is intended for a specific purpose, for example, as a configurable material or process material
- Whether the material number can be assigned internally or externally
- The number range from which the material number is taken
- Which screens appear and in what sequence
- Which departmental data you may enter
- What procurement type the material has; that is, whether it is manufactured in-house or procured externally, or both
Together with the plant, the material type determines the material's inventory management requirement; that is:
- Whether changes in quantity are updated in the material master record
- Whether changes in value are also updated in the stock accounts in financial accounting
In addition, the accounts affected by a material entering or leaving the warehouse depend on the material type.
-Most importantly, Users can be authorized to create materials of specific material types but not based on item category
- Item category will define whether the material should be valuated for stock or it should be considered as non-stock
- Pricing is carried out based on Item Category and not based on Material type

I am not clear on what you are wanting DW to do for you? Is it that you want it to insert a three item unordered list? No - there's no such function. You would need to click in Design view where you want the list to go, click on the bulleted list icon on the Property inspector, and then enter the three items separated by carriage returns. Then you'd have to link each item specifically.
To enter the named anchors to element ID values, CS5 has no way to do this. You'd have to enter those links manually. -

My Dear Shayamal is absolutely correct and we are corrently using this SAP facility. You can create 'N' number of inspectio plans for a material and then whenever the inspection lot will created ( Thru a process order or Manual) then you will get the Inspection Lot Status 'CRTD' (Created mode) then you have to select your Inspection Task list manually by two way...
Either go to QA02 and then select it from the list of multiple plans.
Or you can directly go from QA32 ...select your inspection lot row and directly click on the Inspection Lot icon to go directly to the inspection lot window to slect the Task list.
Further there is no need to remove the Automatic Assignment from the QM View of the Material Master as if there is only one task List then system will automatically assign the TASK LIST, if you deselect it then you have to select in every case.

Error in MIR7 - Different Material Vendor planned for del. costs item in PO
Dear All,
We getting error during MIR7.
We add two freight condtion ZFRO and ZFRT in purchase order as below :
ZFRO = we have add Rs. 350 against freight to Vendor(MATERIAL VENDOR)
ZFRT = We have add Rs. 100 for local freight which is paid to FREIGHT VENDOR directly (cash payment) i.e. paid for Transporter's Godown to our factory.
Now during MIGO, store department has enter as :
1. ZFRT (Freight Vendor - FREIGHT VENDOR)
2. ZFRO (Freight Vendor - MATERIAL VENDOR)
Now during MIR7 we are getting following error :
Different Material Vendor 300255 planned for del. costs item in PO 4500028018
(300255 is FREIGHT VENDOR which is at Number 1 in freight tab of MIGO)

In MIR7, select the option Goods/Service Item
First do only for Good/Service item...
After that, in MIR7 select only Planned Delivery cost and give the same PO number..
Then you will receive a pop-up message to choose vendor..
Here select one vendor and press continue..
Then save you invoice..
And again do the same and just select the other vendor..
You can see 3 invoice number in PO history..
One for goods charges and another two for freight charges.. -

I can see in the config the material group and associated valuation class is for Items without a materisl master, however where is the cost element derived, as I cannot see this data anywhere.

For some POs on cost center, (account assignment category K for example), you should have to enter a material group.
In configuration, you will assign a valuation class to these material groups (in spro, tcode OMQW). SAP will derive the cost element by reading table T030 (tcode OBYC) for the given valuation class. -
ROUCH CUT PLANNING-capacity in terms of Material,Month and Qty wise

I have the following scenario
The client will input the Rough cut planning Sales Plan for "Material A" in MC87. Then he will generate Production Plan in the same screen by create prodcution plan ->sychronise to sales
SO Material specific and Month specific Quanitities will be inside
His requirement is For Material Specific he is having some capacity Availability in terms of Quantity Material specific and Month wise. Say, Material A he can produce only 5000 in a month, Material B 2500 in a month by the way
So he will compare this with sales/production plan in MC87 and correct the MC87 data
Is our rough cut planning will use any way for comparing and putting his available material specific capacity in terms of Qty. How to map this requirment in SAP
I tried with MC35 rough cut planning it is giving the error stating resource..
Might be i have not used it properly

In mc35, choose the resource as work center & enter min.
Then in the main screen, enter the time for processing 1 Pc. (base qty). (Calculate this time for the processing of material A & then enter the time.)

Link between Financial Statement Item and Break-Down-Category
Dear all,
we try to create an own data entry functionality in SAPNetweaver for our BCS Data.
Therefore we need to implement a coding vor a validation (IP-coding). Do you know in which table we get the link between the financial statement item and the break-down category?
The customizing phath is
TA UCWB > Master Data > Items > Item (select item) > Field Breakdown Category (field name: ITGRP).
We need the tecnical link (table/structure) so that we can create a validation based on the financial statement and the breakdown category).

XmchXThe tables themselves are generated objects that are structured based on how you've defined your master data (custom attributes, etc).
You can probably find them through table UGMD2011 and entering the fieldname of your FS Item (I think the delivered item is /1FB/CS_ITEM).
The following snippet is from a function module I wrote to check movement type restrictions (min/max selection set) might be useful. I've previously created a custom task for posting custom documents (that could not be defined with standard reclassifications or IU eliminations).
I've never worked with the portal, but presumably you can create an RFC interface and replicate the selections which normally come from the cons monitor (Cons Area, GC, FYV, Period, Year, Cons Chart, + and additional fields fixed in the cons area) on a portal page and inherit them that way. I actually thought about creating an Excel workbook that would send postings directly into BCS...just never got the time, and it was never a "requirement" as the volume of manually entries has been pretty low (or, at least always planned to be low)

Would recommend debugging these two methods to get an idea of what BCS is doing:
