Plant Address Changing

Hi All,
I have to change the plant address in spro . Enterprise structure -->Definition --> Logistics - General --> Define, copy, delete, check plant --> Define plant.
Here i am selecting the plant and going to address format and changing the address but its not asking for request when i am saving. But i have to save here and transport to my production system. How to save the address in the request.

I am facing the problem of Plant Address Changing automatically.
It is taking the address of the Customer.
and when i am changing the address of the plant, system is changing the address of Customer in sales and distribution.
After changing the customer address again system is taking customer address for the plant.
Please suggest me the solution on the issue.

Hi,
this seems to be correct if your plant is a Retail Site and the customer is a Retail Customer.
In that case, yes it is true that both are sharing the same address.
The vendor could also be in that case.
Start transaction WB02, open the plant and check if the customer is related.
Technically speaking,
ADRC-ADDRNUM = KNA1-ADRNR = T001W-ADRNR
and
T001W-KUNNR = KNA1-KUNNR
and/or T001W-LIFNR = LFA1-LIFNR
Some other relations also exists.
I'm not sure there is a solution from the transaction to remove such link.
But from a technical perspective, broke the above links and remove the useless ADRV links could be enough.
I would suggest that you open a SAP customer message in market place to let experts investigate before changing any data.

Cost Center / Profit Center -- Validation for Plant Address Change

Hi There - One of our team [PTP] have a updated St'Adress for a Plant. From FI, is there something needs to be validated? and How do i find cost center/profit center related to that plant. I belive there is no assignment of those to plants?

no, the "accounting" object that can be related to the plant is the valuation area, but it is updated automatically.

Plant adress change in enterprise structure .

Hi All,
During print preview of purchase order in delivery address only plant name is coming which it is taking from the delivery address maintained in Item detail of PO .This address is fetched from the plant address maintained in SPRO-> enterprise structure-> logistics general ->
define,copy,delete,check plant ->define plant .So if I change the address now in denelopment and transport it to production will that be any harm to the system .Why I am asking this question is ,I heard enterprise structure is very critical portion ,so we should not touch it after 4 months of SAP running in a plant .
Anybody who is 100% sure reply .

Hi,
It is correct that you should not hamper the Enterprise Structure in a Production Environment. But if it is regarding deletion of any Organisational Element or assignment of Organisational Element or removing the assignment of any Organisational Element, etc...
If it is regarding Plant Address change then it is OK, you can do it.

Customer address change: Audit issue

Hi All,
Although address is the only feild of customer master which if you change then the change is immediately effected in all preceeding and sussequent docs. Now the issus is:
A plant address changed and after 6 months when audit is been carried out and auditor printed invoice dated 7 months back then it came with new address of plant. He immediately raised an issue on this. Now although he was explained the technical behaviour of the address feild but functionally his issue cannnot be denied.
How do we handle and explain this. Is there any way that old address is assesed and used using some user exits. I mean to say validity period wise maintenance of addresses??????

It is not possible to maintain address as validity period. Print program is always considering the current address.

Plant address not changed in PO delivery address

Hello, I have changed a plant address in DEV & moved to QAS.i can find all the changed data in QAS in OX10.but when i create a new po for the same plant, print preview & delivery address tab is picking old address. how to handle this? please guide me.

Where exactly did you change the address and check for the address?
Often misunderstood, the address has to be maintained by clicking the envelope button in OX10

Plant address can't be changed?

I go to SPRO, enterprise structure/logistic general/Define, copy, delete, check plant, but I find the address field, house number, post code number are all greyed out, how to change the plant address, thanks?

OX10. Under Define, select your plant.. Select detail.
Then, Shift-F5 to branch to the address screen.
If you have Retail installed, you can also edit the address in WB02.

Change log of Plant Address

Hello,
One of the plants had an address change. The change log does not list those changes. Is there any way I can figure out as to when the address of the plant was changed and who changed it. Any help will be appreciated.

When plant address is changed transport request will be created ,based on the transport request you can findout the changes

earlier we had old plant(branch) address and after creation of invoice we change the plan location .now i hv update address in OX10 but still its showing old address in invoice .so is thr anything i hv to update?
how to make changes in invoice already print?

Kindly Check with ABAPer what code he/she mentioned like Standard they mentioned in the Smart form / Script and system should fetch data from data based table
I think they mentioned in the program they mentioned default plant address
try to check with ABAPer and also in Invoice level VBRP- WERKS (Plant) , we will get the address by using the Table V_T001W
here you can find out the fields which is related to the plant address like NAME1,NAME2,STRAS etc..,

Follow the path to change the plant and shipping point address.
SPRO -> Enterprise Structure -> Definition -> Logistics General -> Define, Copy, Edit Plant -> Define Plant -> Select your plant by doubling clicking and press (Shift + F5)
SPRO -> Enterprise Structure -> Definition -> Logistics General -> Define, Copy, Edit Shipping Point -> Define Shipping Point -> Select your shipping point by double clicking and press (Shift + F5)

How to include plant address data in price calculation procedure in PO?

I need to include in conditions PO the field REGION from plant address data. Price depends on region of recivable plant. I included the field in condition table (it was in the field catalog KOMK and KOMP), it was included as KOMK- REGION. As a result price in PO depends on the field REGION from vendor address data in header PO. How to change to   REGION from plant address data in item of PO?

Since SAP standard routines don't fill KOMK-WKREG
the badi implementation me_po_pricing_cust
would be the best option. User exits would work
too at the end of function me_fill_komk_po, since it's called right after the check for the badi in function
me_fill_komk_po.

In SAP 4.6 - Purchase order delivery address - Change

Hi All
I have created a PO and in print preview i can see the delivery address as plant address, which is also in PO item details. Now the EKPO-Address number does not have any value.
Once I have changed the delivery address in item details, the delivery address is blank in PO - print preview and also i can see a value in EKPO - Address number.
This value is exists in ADRC, which has the changed address. But the changed address is not in PO print preview, the preview is without deliver address only.
Please give some views about this. SAP version is 4.6

Delivery address follows the rule
1. If Plant Address is maintained in Customisation, system will pick Plant address as delivery address
2. If Plant and Storage location address is maintained in customization and both plant and Sloc is maintinaed in P.O line item then Storage location address will pick.
3. If you cahnge the derived Default address to your own address, system will take precedence over the above 2 and create a address record, where you can see at ADRC, ADR6 I believe.
At present when you are making blank manually in the delivery address system is behaving properly by not picking the address.
Hope the above clarification will help you understanding , and you also simulate to get the result.

Plant address picking wrong

While creating Stock transport order ,the delivery address of the plant is picking wrong. I chcked in the T001w table , the plant address iscorrect but it is not picking in the STO.
Please suggest what could be the reason.

Dealing of address change of org. units

Here I am putting my question again. If we define the org. units like Plant,Sales org. ,Company code etc. and then change their address,the address changes in the previous documents also.
Are there any settings through which we can let the old address in the previous documents be the same and at the same time can create new documents with new address.

I am not sure if that's a bug or a feature.
If you consider it is a bug, maybe you should consider some kind of Archiving system so you keep a copy of the original invoice "as-is".
Imagine you change a SAPSCRIPT or SMARFORM and you need to re-print the invoice. Not only the address will change, but also the format of the printed billing document itself!
An Archiving system would solve this problem because it would allow you to re-print exactly the same invoice that was printed months ago.
