Plantronics voyager legend not pairing to iPhone 6

My iPhone 6 does not recognize my Plantronics Voyager Legend headset. It worked fine on my iPhone 5 with OS 8.02.  Any ideas how to connect the two?

This worked for me:
To Pair Voyager Legend to a Different Phone or Re-Pair to the Same Phone:
Turn the headset on. Slide the power switch to the 'on' position showing green.
Using voice commands. Tap the Voice button on your Voyager Legend and say “Pair mode,” or  Press and hold the Call button on your Voyager Legend until you hear “Pairing”
Turn on your phone’s Bluetooth feature. While the Voyager Legends LEDs are flashing red/blue, activate Bluetooth on your phone and set it to search for new devices.
• iPhone Settings > General > Bluetooth > On
• Android™ Smartphones Settings > Wireless & Networks > Bluetooth: On > Scan for devicesNOTE: Menus may vary by device
Select Voyager Legend. Select “PLT_Legend" on your phone as a found device.  If your phone asks, enter four zeros (0000) for the passcode or simply accept the connection.
Complete pairing process. Once successfully paired, LEDs on the Voyager Legend will stop flashing red/blue and you will hear “pairing successful.” from the headset.NOTE To enable caller name announcement, allow access to your contacts if your phone prompts you.Your phone should now be paired with the Plantronics Voyager Legend headset and ready for use.

    anyone can help me?

If you have Samsung Android phones, get Viber or Whatsapp, it feels just like texting but it's a free messaging/chat service instead.
But talk to your provider, they should be able to identify if there's any international restrictions active on the accounts.

  • I can not pair my iphone with Powerbook Pro 10.6.8

I could not pair my iPhone 4 with Powerbook Pro 10.6.8 using Bluetooth. The code # is displayed, but refused.

I am not familiar with the Mini bluetooth system, but in most cars there is a possibility to enter it to see what it was paired to. In that menu delete all earlier devices that it was paired to. Set the bluetooth in the iPhone to off, then to on again, and then let iPhone and car search again: probably they will find each other again and then type the pairing codes.

  • Galaxy S5 and Plantronics Voyager Legend

I got the Voyager Legend Headset when I preordered my S5. The headset worked perfect with my Motorola Razr maxx.
Now with my S5 the headset auto answers every call as long as it is turned on and paired to the phone. Doesn't matter if it's on my ear or not it will auto answer the call.
I took it into a Verizon store they weren't able to determine why. They even grabbed a brand new one off the shelf, paired it to my phone and it did the same thing. I contacted Plantronics whet through all of their troubleshooting and still no change. Plantroncis recommended exchanging it for a new one.
Since I had seen another one already have this issue I thought I'd post this on this forum and see if anyone else is having this problem and see if anyone has found a solution.
    Things I've done.
    1) Installed the Plantronics app and checked all the settings
    2) Updated the firmware on the headset and checked the settings with the plantronics website
    3) Tried changing all the "answering and ending call" options on the S5
    4) Unpairing the headset and repairing it.
    5) Tried using the headset with the s5 in safe mode
Anyone have any more thoughts or suggestions?

I have recently just got the solution.
Even Samsing wasn't able to help. After going through all the settings on the S5 I found the fix.
Go to Settings --> Applications --> Call --> Call Accessories. There is an option for Automatic Answering. Uncheck that.
The headset will now work perfectly.

  • Logitech HS03 V04 "not paired" to iPhone 4

I have a "Logitech HS03 V04" Bluetooth headset that works properly with my old Blackberry.
When I got my first iPhone 4, I tried to get it to hook up with the headset, but while it could discover it and displayed the name properly in the Bluetooth page in the iPhone settings, it never got past "Not Paired".
I didn't investigate too much, as that iPhone 4 went back for a completely unrelated reason. But yesterday I got my second iPhone 4, and when I try to hook it up with the same headset, the iPhone discovers the headset, but never gets past "Not Paired".
    Am I doing something wrong?
    Thanks in advance.
    Greg

Seriously. This device is great and works with all my other devices including my ps3. Come on Apple I didn't think this would be a problem with my iPod Touch 3G. I was hoping the 4.1 would fix this. Do we really have to rely on jailbreaking to get the most out of the products we buy from you? It would be nice to see the company giving us everything we need for a change. Not that I don't love your products. I do, but sometimes I feel there needs to be more.

  • MacBook Pro 15 inch 2013 late not pairing with iPhone 6 Plus

I have Yosemite and have iPhone 6 Plus running latest OS updates. Whenever I tried to pair my iPhone through Bluetooth (for Hand-off or Continuity application to work), the connection status in both devices go "Not Connected" mode. I have done SMC reset, deleted the Bluetooth plist file as mentioned in some blogs.
Not sure what is the step I may be missing.
FYI, I had the same issue several months back with my iPhone 5 which got resolved with the deletion of plist file. Now the same magic do not seem to work.
    Appreciate valuable input

    Hello ramachandranfromchennai,
Thanks for using the Apple Support Communities. I understand that you wish to use Handoff and Continuity features between your iPhone 6 Plus and MacBook Pro. There is no need to pair your iPhone with your Mac like you would with a bluetooth mouse or keyboard. As long as your system meets all of the applicable requirements and is setup correctly, you should be good to go:
Connect your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, and Mac using Continuity - Apple Support
    https://support.apple.com/en-us/ht6337
    To use Handoff:
Sign in to the same iCloud account on all your devices.
Turn on Bluetooth on all the devices you want to use. Make sure your devices are near each other.
Connect all your devices to the same Wi-Fi network.
    Cheers,
    Matt M.

  • Bluetooth not pairing between iPhone 5s and 4

    i have a new iPhone 5s ( iOS 8.1 ) and iPhone 4 ( iOS 7.1.2 )
I want to pair some ring tones from the old one to the new, both of it searches but not connecte.
    any help

This table is the ways you can use bluetooth on your iPhone: http://support.apple.com/en-us/HT3647
Pairing 2 iPhones together for file transfers isn't an option, unless you are using an app that has that feature. The iPhone can be paired to a variety of bluetooth devices, such as headsets, and the details of your options are in the article I linked.

  • Mac Air will not pair with iPhone 5

I can not get my iPhone to connect to my MacAir--even though I go through the process and see the code number on both devices. After I click on connect an error message comes up that the MacAir in "not supported." Help

The iPhone DOES support Bluetooth profiles beyond audio.
    See: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht3647
However, most profiles won't work with a Mac.

  • Plantronics Voyager Legend and my iPhone 4

sometimes my audio will switch from my Plantronics blue tooth to just coming out of the iphone.
i will push the audio button and sometimes it will show the blue tooth still checked, other times iPhone will be checked.
Also, there are times I push the button on my Voyager, hear the tone, and wait for voice control to be activated on my iPhone, but it doesn't happen.
anybody else seen this?   why does it just switch back and forth, and why can't i consistently invoke voice control via my Voyager?  I recently updated the firmware on my Voyager and am still seeing the same problems.

    Hi wbnelso1,
Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!
I undress and that it can be very frustrating when your car Bluetooth connection is not working as you would expect. In your situation, I would recommend using the troubleshooting steps outlined in the attached article.

  • I can not pair my iPhone 5S with my 2013 Mini. Previous iPhone 5 did pair. What do I do?

How do I pair iPhone 5S Bluetooth with a Mini Cooper. iPhone searches but does not find. Note previous iPhone models did search, found and auto connected. What am I doing wrong?

I am not familiar with the Mini bluetooth system, but in most cars there is a possibility to enter it to see what it was paired to. In that menu delete all earlier devices that it was paired to. Set the bluetooth in the iPhone to off, then to on again, and then let iPhone and car search again: probably they will find each other again and then type the pairing codes.
