Play in sequence.

I have three movie project and I would like to make them play in sequence. I would like when video A finishes to start video B. When video B finishes for video C to start. How can I do this without using menus?

OK. You can export each iMovie to QT and then drop each one in sequence into the slideshow well. They should then play one after the other.

  • I'd like to know how to play a sequence of podcasts. Does anybody know?

    I'd like to know how to play a sequence of podcasts?
    Finishing to hear a podcast, it comes back to main menu! Why can it play all the contents in sequence, like music?

    Hold down the mute button on the steering wheel until you hear,"Ready" and then say "Voice". That will bring up Siri.

  • Playing a sequence of video files

    Dear all,
    I'm trying to use JMF to play a sequence of video files, i.e. one after the other.
    The program I have written creates multiple players, one for each video file. It then realizes and prefetches them all. Then the program starts the first player and on an EndOfMedia event, plays the next and so on.
    The problem that I have is that on my Swing gui, it shows the first video but none of the rest, although you can hear the audio! Below is the code that is called on an EndOfMedia event to start the next player.
        private void nextInSequence() throws EndOfSequenceException {
            // Close Previous Players
            if (current > 0)
                clipPlayers[current-1].close();
            // No more clips in sequence
            if (current >= clipPlayers.length)
                throw new EndOfSequenceException();
            myVisual = clipPlayers[current].getVisualComponent();
               if (myVisual != null) {
                  visualPanel = new Panel();
                   visualPanel.setLayout(new FlowLayout());
                   visualPanel.add(myVisual);
                   add("Center",visualPanel);
            else {
                remove(status);
                   add("Center",status);
                   status.setText("No VisualComponent available.");
            validate();
            myVisual.setVisible(true);
            // start current player
            clipPlayers[current].start();
            current++;
        }I have set the LIGHTWEIGHT_RENDERER hint for the manager. The nextInSequence() method shown above is in a class extending JPanel.
    Anybody any ideas?
    Many thanks,
    Oli Gosling

  • Albums Will Not Play In Sequence

    Since the recent update to my iPod Touch, my albums do not play in sequence. I am not in Shuffle mode, which works, by the way. But, in standard play mode, the albums do not play in sequence. Has anyone else had this problem? Is there a solution?

    I had the exact same issue a while back. The "fix", if you can call it that, may not be something you want to hear.
    Basically, my albums got randomized, but it was only a handful on my device (like around 15) and they were all either albums I had downloaded or albums that were originally in windows media (because of my zune that I had before my touch).
    Here's the only way I know how to fix it: If you own a physical copy of your album, take the albums that are randomized on your ipod OFF of your device. Then take them off of itunes. Take the master CD and rip it to itunes again and finally put the newly ripped album back onto your ipod again. It should be in order now.
    However, you may not own a physical copy of the album because you downloaded it. Ipod Touches (mine at least) are mostly prone to getting downloaded albums out of order. If this is the case, there MAY be an alternate method, although I have not tried it myself: Try burning the album onto a CD in itunes (where it should be in order) and uploading the files off of the newly burned CD onto itunes again after they have been taken off. You MAY need to rename all your files (I recommend allmusic.com for tracklistings), but this method should, in theory, work.
    I just hope you don't have to many albums on your touch that are getting randomized, and if so, that they aren't downloaded. You may end up spending a lot of time and possibly money (on blank CDs) on getting your device to run properly.
    Try these and let me know if they work.

  • Premiere pro 5.5 stops working when playing a sequence, saving a project or closing,any ideas why?

    I can open a project, import files or other projects, but when I want to play the sequence the program stops working and closes. When I try to save the project or close the program I get a "software not responding" message.
    I hope someone can help me with this as I cannot work on any projects.
    thanks.

    Hi john,
    thanks for taking the time to help me. I have updated the software and rendered the files and now I am able to play them, but still neither the sequence nor the clip play/show on the corresponding screens, I can only hear the audio file. I also continue having problems when saving the project, the software stops working and I get the "non responding" error from microsoft.
    As you suggested, and I have to say I am pretty much a dummy with the codecs and alike, I installed the mediainfo and run one of the files.
    This is the info that appears on the screen
    I am not getting any error messages from Premiere, so I am kind of stock. If you need other info let me know.
    Thanks for your help and patience.

  • Is there dvd software out there that allows you to create a dvd menu in which the viewer can choose to play different sequences of the videos offered?

    Is there dvd software out there that allows you to create a dvd menu in which the viewer can choose to play different sequences of the videos offered? It was described to me as a dvd matrix menu but I can't find anything like it for mac. The idea is that there are multiple videos on the dvd menu and you can choose to play "video A, then B, then C" or "video B, then C, then A", etc, in different orders each time. And it would play the sequence that you choose.

    meghanica wrote:
    I think that's on the right track but I'm wanting something that allows the viewer to choose the sequence when they're looking at the DVD menu. I only see how the creator of the DVD can make different sequences. It's a yoga tutorial DVD and we are wanting the viewer to be able to pick a sequence from the menu items as such: pick one of the 3 warm-up videos, then pick one of the 2 yoga practices and then pick 1 of the 3 cool-down videos and then the dvd will play the sequence of selected warm up, practice, then cool down. And it can be differently chosen every time the viewer uses the menu.
    You can do this on a DVD with DVD Studio Pro.
    DVD's have some very basic storage called SPRM/GPRM scripting IIRC.
    There are a few tutorials around for DVDSP…
    http://www.kenstone.net/fcp_homepage/dvd_language_nattress.html
    http://www.digitalproducer.com/article/DVD-Studio-Pro-Scripting-Part-4-28784
    You use scripts to set values that are stored in a tiny amount of memory on the player & then have to use additional scripts to respond to the values set, so that at the end of a sequence it will jump to the one a user previously chosen.
    Some things to consider…
    DVD's have limits on the number of chapters & titles, you need to plan around that.
    Some DVD players are terrible to navigate, the settings that a user selects will be forgotten when the player is powered off. Users will need to make the choices over & over, every time they use the DVD (computers may remember it - I haven't tested this in years).
    You will also need to setup many variations of menus to be able to indicate what selections they chose.
    It is not a trivial task, you may want to hire a programmer to set it all up.
    Testing is also a lot of work - too many combinations can quickly cause issues for testing, different players can also do odd things too.
    I have used scripting for basic, 'play all' or 'play chapter' menus where the video is encoded once on the DVD & the scripts will either play through, or simply play a chapter & return to the same menu.
    You may find that it would be better to invest in setting up a website with this. On a custom site it would be possible for users to save a playlist or several, they can also share playlists etc, it would be more flexible & usable IMO.
    See roaring apps for info on others who have used DVD Studio Pro with various OS's…
    http://roaringapps.com/app/dvd-studio-pro …it looks like 10.8 may be the last OS to work correctly with DVDSP.
    Other DVD authoring apps may be able to do GPRM scripting too, but you will have to search for them.
    I think the registers are part of the DVD spec, so devices should support them, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DVD-Video

  • Adobe Audiotion CS6, why won't it preview my audio when i try to play my sequence back?

    So, before, my audition worked fine but when trying to edit my current audio project, I am unable to play the sequence back so that I can make changes to my audio efectively. My audio is at 48,000 and so is my video. Me needs help now!

    Will it play back at all? If it won't, then check that your audio hardware is still connected correctly in Preferences>Audio hardware. If this gets disconnected, the transport won't work at all.

  • Playing Clips/Sequences in background, while using other application?

    I am working for a reality TV show and we are trying to take notes in Microsoft Word while the editors sequences are playing.
    Is there any way to change the preferences so that Final Cut will play a clip or a sequence while we are using another application, like Word.
    I know that quicktimes will play while I use other applications but will Final Cut do the same thing?
    Thanks for all your help!

    The program is not so sophisticated as to track both sequence TC and clip TC.
    If you need Clip TC, as Michael notes, just open them individually in Notetaker. Be sure to add other info Like Reel Name (number) on your own. The program doesn't seem to read the additional info fields that you add in FCP.
    While not perfect, it does offer a slick way to create review notes for easy communication.
    I understand one of the Adobe Premiere collaborative tools includes a note taking extension. I reportedly creates a file that can be imported by another person and will place markers on the timeline with the comments.
    I suppose if someone were very capable with XML scripting, they could do the same thing with a text file containing TC markers and be able to import that into a project ....
    cheers,

  • Premiere pro/audition bug? Mixdown file won't play in sequence

    Howdy.
    Never had this happen before, so I thought I'd ask you academic types what's going on.
    I created a sequence in PP that contained multiple audio (wav)/video files. I exported the audio to Audition, balanced the amplification, declicked, popped, etc. Created a mixdown of the files and exported (wav). I imported the mixdown to PP and placed it into the sequence (I've done this thousands of times before). Unfortunately, there were no waveforms on the file and no audio can be heard.
    However, if I open the same file in the source monitor the waveforms are there and the file plays as it should. I can also open and play the wav file in media play, for example, and everything appears to be fine.
    Any ideas on why it won't play in the program monitor/timeline/sequence?
    Thanks

    Oh well, not a big deal. I was able to use the clip by creating a new sequence, dragging from source monitor to new sequence, then copy/paste from the new sequence to the sequence I needed.
