Playbook Microphones recently lost sensitivity

Hello, I recently updated my Playbook's OS and everything seems to be fine, but I noticed when using Voice Notes that the mics are no where near as sensitive as they were a week ago. The needle used to go to the far right of the scale, but now it won't pass the second bar, even with shouting. It's as though something has happened to the gain. The recordings are still very clear just much much quieter. Using a mic via earphones the needle moves as before (but of course quality is much reduced and no stereo). It may be nothing to do with update. I don't know. I'm really stumped. Any help would be most appreciated. Thanks. J

Reloading the OS may resolve the issue as it seems to be a Software issue but if you Happy with the voice recorder apps then , Good Luck

I recently lost wifi capabilities on my 3rd generation ipod touch. I reset the network which did nothing so I did a complete reset. This actually removed the Safari icon off my itouch and still wifi is completely grayed-out. Has Apple removed the wifi capabilities to force the purchase of new items?
I find it completely disturbing that only recently has this become an issue for 3rd generation itouch users.
Can someone please help as I am exceptionally frustrated

If you have a backup, restore the ENTIRE iTunes folder to the computer. This restores the library and device association files. If for some reason you chose to only back up the media and not the entire iTunes folder, then the only option is to let iTunes wipe the drive and re-sync.

... AFAIC Location Services is a joke.
With both devices sitting side by side on my kitchen table, Location Services has NEVER shown the devices to be any where close to each other, and at times Location Services has been as much as a 1/4 of a mile off between the two devices.
Your iPod Touch has no GPS receiver so determining its location relies upon wireless routers whose location is known. Its "location" is actually that of a wireless router. Your iPhone 4 can use GPS, cellular triangulation, and Wi-Fi. One would think GPS would be most accurate but urban areas have a greater density of cells and GPS signals are easily obstructed so cellular triangulation is often more accurate.
Therefore the two devices' locations can be expected to be different. Differences of a quarter mile are easily explained if you understand how location services works: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1975

Location Services is not a "joke"; its intended use is for basic navigation and for such applications as determining where the nearest restaurant is. It cannot tell you that your iPod is under the couch cushions and that your iPhone is in the car.

There are no contacts in itunes.
Your contact should be on your computer in whatever program you have selected to sync. Just sync them to the new one.

If you are referring to the first generation Apple TV, then you cannot sync content which is stored on its hard drive back to iTunes.

Try the following steps, check whether things are working after each step where appropriate, before trying the next.
Check AirPlay is turned on on the Apple TV (turn it off and on if it already is)
Check that both devices are on the same network (Settings > Wifi, on the mobile device and Settings > General > Network, on the Apple TV).
Restart the Apple TV (Settings > General > Restart).
Restart the Apple TV by removing ALL the cables for 30 seconds.
Restart your router. (Also try removing it’s power cord for at least 30 seconds)
Restart your mobile device.

Music is intended to go from your computer to the iPod. Going the other way is contrary to the design and is not trivial. To extract music from your iPod requires the assistance of third party utilities.
If you purchased music from the iTunes Store, no worries, you can simply download it again with the one caveat that the music is still available in the Store.

I have just recently lost use of 2 USB ports and my isight camera. I have an isight G5 imac that has been working great. I have rebooted, reloaded my OS, and tried PRAM reset. I can use my keyboard, but not other peripherals. Any ideas on diagnostics?

I have rebooted, executed a PRAM reset, and reloaded my OS, but to no avail I am out 2 of my 3 USB ports. I don't know how to diagnose the issue. Any ideas?

Well, if you've tried different USB cords and devices and have reset your PRAM:

I'd say your USB ports are shot - since they are an integral part of the logic board, replacing it will most likely be expensive. I'd still go for a definitive diagnosis at the Genius Bar.
