Please can someone help me urgently re settings
I have accidentally deleted the settings icon from my iPhone. Can anyone tell me how to get it back as I can't alter any settings now.

You can't delete the icons that Apple sets. Have you checked to see if you accidentally moved the icon to another page?
If you cannot find the icon, you can do a restore in iTunes and that will put all the icons back in their original locations.

Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support (if this won't uninstall move on to the next item)
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
The uninstall and reinstall process will preserve your iTunes library and settings, but ideally you would back up the library and your other important personal documents and data on a regular basis. See this user tip for a suggested technique.

I'm unable to send mail please can someone help me fix it
I have suddenly started to get an error message when sending some of my mail it is telling me to go to my "Temporary Directory Settings" as it's unable to send through C:\Users\Tina\AppData\Local\Temp\nsmail.tmp
I have tried unticking my email attachments in my anti virus as I was told to do the last time I had a problem, but to no avail. Please can someone help me fix this and preferably in step by step form ?I suggest you contact McAfee for instructions. I don't use their product and a year after it started making life hard for Thunderbird users i am sure they can offer constructive workarounds.

In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account") -
IPod blank screen-please can someone help ????

i've had my 5th G iPod video for just over 2 years now. No serious problems until today- i now have the so called screen of death. In my case what happens is it a white screen with a grey line down it. The iPod was dropped, but it has been a few times in the past with no problems. i have tried several ways to restore everything, even going so far as to restore the iPod to its factory settings. Having tried to reset it a few times when connected to my computer it is now not detected by iTunes.

I want completely out of iCloud. Please, can someone help!
After putting it off for months I finally uprgraded to Lion and switched from Mobile Me to iCloud. Ugh!! I have been here all day just trying to get my Mac Mail right. I don't have any devices so I don't really need my stuff 'up in the cloud' anyway. I have been trying to find out how to completely close out (NOT turn off) any connection with iCloud at this point. I've been to help. I've been everywhere. It seems like you can only turn it off or delete it from your devices.
Please, can someone help me?!... isn't that just ''signing out'? I don't want my mail being 'stored' somewhere.
I understand that concern, and the answer is yes. Everything stored on Apple's servers will remain stored until you specifically delete it.
In that case, simply delete any and all email messages, contacts, etc before signing out. Empty the trash if that is applicable.
In Mail, the default account settings are as follows:
If yours are like that, your deleted messages are permanently deleted after a month, but "sent" messages stay on the server forever. You can change those settings to "immediately" if that is your preference.
As I say I undertand your concerns, just bear in mind Google Mail works exactly the same way. Even worse, some might say.
No matter what email service you use, as far as I know there is no way to be absolutely certain that copies of your emails aren't stored forever, somewhere, perhaps completely beyond your reach. In fact, US law requires it for company email... and I'm not completely certain that law does not apply to iCloud, Gmail, or even individuals.

I have heard good legal arguments to the effect that the moment you send an email, it ceases to become your "property" so any subsequent attempt to eradicate it may be futile anyway.
Sorry to go off on a tangent, but the bottom line is that permanently deleting email is more difficult than one would think, iCloud or not. -
Hi, please can someone help me?
Have just returned home from abroad where my iphone 4 worked perfectly.
Now at home it wont receive wifi. It picks up the signal which shows in phones display but cant connect to the internet. Computers and ipod all working fine so I assume it must be a problem with the phone.

From your description, it sounds like you may have been using the SMS feature of Continuity in iOS 8. If this is the case and it has somehow become misconfigured after a recent change, you may find the information and steps outlined in the following articles helpful:

please can someone help me to unistall itunes from my laptop control panel, this means it also wont let me install the latest version!
I also have Jolly's problem. I found the iMovie 9.0.9 folder and tried to launch the older version of iMove. It would not launch. I removed all of the iMovie preferences from the Preferences folder, removed iMove 10 from the applications folder, and restarted my Mac. iMove 9.0.9 still won't launch and I can't access my videos created with the older version of iMovie. Is there a way to uninstall iMovie 10 and reinstall iMovie 9.0.9?

If you bought the iphone in the US and it is locked to a specific carrier, then you can't use a different sim (from another carrier). Is this your situation?

First go here - https://appleid.apple.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/MyAppleId.woa/ and login under the manage tab. Check your information and be sure it is all correct.
An AppleID is nothing more than an email address, so if you see another email address in the store, then someone has logged in with a different AppleID than yours. Did you let someone else use your iPhone? -

Have you tried to reset it? Hold down the sleep and home keys for about 20 seconds. If you see the silver apple, let go and let it reboot and see if it comes back
