my phone ended up resetting somehow and losing all information well i got all my address book and some other stuff back but my email icon and email got disconfigured....i do not know how to reconfigure my email, everytime i go into personal email setup my email address is in there so i click on edit and that does nothing and then i click add and that does nothing>>>
im wondering on how to configure this and figure out my isp

  • COMMON CONVERTING PROBLEM "PLEASE HELP"!!

    Hello fellow Ipod owners, I just purchased a 30 gig I pod video today. I currently have approximately 1100 songs. Itunes is only converting 460 songs. I have the same problem Tabs has.     The "Do Not Disconnect" screen will continue to stay displayed on your iPod, simply because you either have Disk Use enabled, or you are manually managing your iPod's songs.
    If you are automatically syncing songs to your iPod, then disable disk use.

    It's probably something really obvious but I'm new to this and just can't see what I've missed out or done wrong.

    It's a really bad idea to post your email address - it's an invitation to spam - and I've asked the Hosts to remove it. No-one is likely to email you (except spammers).
    There's no need to post the text of the feed - it's not a lot of help much of the time. The URL of the feed is what's needed to enable detective work.
    You have a fatal error in your feed, though it's in line 16 not line 19. Line 16 reads:
    <itunes:image href="https://s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/podcast01/LosslessLogo-1400x1400.jpg” />
    It's not that easy to see here, but you have 'curly quotes' at the end of the URL. These are not allowed in XML and wreck the feed. Because they aren't recognized as closing quotes it looks as if the next few lines are part of the URL, hence the error showing up as being in line 19.
    You need to use the same 'straight' quotes that you have at the beginning of the URL.
    You are also likely to run into problems when submitting the feed to the iTunes. Same URLs will work with http at the front rather than https.
    Though it may not cause any difficulties, to be strictly correct you should have this line at the beginning of your feed:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    It must be the very first thing in the feed, with nothing whatever before it. Otherwise the feed seems to be OK.

    Another user had success doing the following:
    I got some help from an apple assistant on the phone. It is kind of round about way to get in.
    Here is what he said to do and it is working for me...
      a. on the device that is asking you for the security questions go to "settings", > "store" >
          tap the Apple ID and choose view"Apple ID" and sign in.
      b. Tap on payment information and add a credit/debit card of your preference then select
          "done", in the upper right corner
      c. sign out and back into iTunes on the device by going to "settings"> "store" > tap the
          Apple ID and choose "sign-out" > Tap "sign -in" > "use existing Apple ID" and you
          should be asked to verify your security code for the credit /debit card and NOT the
          security questions.
      d. At this time you can remove the card by going back in to edit the payment info and
          selecting "none" as the card type then saving the changes by selecting "done". You
          should now be able to use your iTunes store credit without answering the security
          questions.
    It's working for me ...I just have to put in my 3 digit security pin from the credit card I am using.

    I'm having a big issue here with Adobe Muse cc 7.0
    I have my personal domain www.shepherdtextiles.com
    and third party host (here in China which is 72e.net (and yes, got all php and so on requirements Adobe Muse needs)
    I follow carefully all steps to add a simple contact form, adding first [email protected] and changing it to my personal hotmail when I saw it wasn't working to try if with hotmail could work, but didn't.
    I have checked the Muse PHP Diagnostics  and as you can see the mail one failed.....
    I used first the simple contact form that comes with Muse and later I used one from museresources.com but none of them seemed to work
    I'm just guessing that something is not well setup on my server because I just follow all steps Adobe mentioned and I watched many videos where people do it very simple.
    The error I get on my website when I click on submit button is "The server encountered an error"
    There is NO error when I export to html or warnings, just exports fine.

    I'M having a similar problem with my Muse website Formally hosted by GoDaddy. The contact me widget does not send an email when you click submit button. Normally, it accepts with a green check mark in another screen. It does not do that. The submit just turns black when clicked, but nothing else happens
    THe he regular email works. I am able to send and receive. It just does not work with the contact widget

  • TS3988 Can someone please help me?   I have an Iphone 5 and Love it except for one thing. I changed  email address from yahoo to Gmail and updated it on my Apple ID at Apple.  Apple recognizes and accepts this change but Icloud won't update the new email

    I have an Iphone 5 and Love it.  Except for one thing;  I recently changed from ymail email account to a gmail account. I updated it on the
    Apple/ Itunes site and it does accept the change.  I can still access the APP store and Itunes. 
    However, sometimes I get a pop up box from Apple showing the old email address and asking me to sign in..... I hit cancel and move on.   But, now Icloud keeps popping up promting me to sign in and it shows the old email which I don't have anymore.... I tried signing in with the old info to clear it off screen of my phone but, it doesn't allow and I hit cancel and it goes away. only to appear later again....  This is so frustrating and annoying.    Is there any way to get the Icloud to update the email address with my Apple ID log in info--without having to delete stuff or lose things on my phone?

    i bought the itunes music credit, and when tried to redeem it asked for my ID, i have put the details, then it asked for the security questions answers, which i can not remember. when i try to reset, the email get sent to un unknown email address which i dont own... i tried everything to update my email addresses and its still not changing. i dont know how this weird email got there, i dont own it....

    You won't be able to change the rescue email address on your acocunt until you can answer two of your questions, if you don't recognise the address then you will need to contact iTunes Support / Apple to get the questions reset.

  • I have a 27" imac. If I log on to yahoo mail, the color wheel comes up and i cant check email or send. It only happens as soon as i log into my yahoo mail! Please help someone.

    If you are using web based email (accessing from Safari), from the Safari menu bar click Safari / Preferences then select the Security tab.
    Click: Show Cookies
    Delete all Yahoo cookies.
    Now from the menu bar again click Safari / Empty Cache.
    Restart your Mac, launch Safari. Try Yahoo.
    If the problem persists, there's a better way to access your Yahoo mail without a browser.
    Launch the Mail application. Either from your Dock or Applications folder.
    From the Mail menu bar click Mail / Preferences then select the Accounts tab then the Account Information tab.
    Click + under the Accounts window on the left.
    Type in your name, Yahoo email address and password.
    Click: Create
    No more having to use Safari or any browser to access your Yahoo mail. Just click the Mail icon in the Dock.

    I made the mistake of changing my email, however because it was an email that wasn't activated anymore I thought it would be in my best interest to do so. However with a new email came a new password ... and it seems that my phone can't accept the fact that I changed my email, and won't let me change it - so my password is Always wrong, when I know it's not. How do I change my email? I am about the restore my phone to factory settings... but I'm hoping that is a last resort... please help!

    Try clearing Safari's cache : Settings > Safari > Clear Cache (and Clear History)
    If that doesn't work then try closing Safari completely and then re-open it : from the home screen (i.e. not with Safari 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Safari app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
    A third option is a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.
