PLS-00923: native compilation failed: make:spdtexmk:

Hello,
I am using Oracle 92 on Windows Platform.
I am trying to change Interpreter to NATIVE mode.
I changed parameters as needed. Below are the parameters I have after change.
SQL> show parameter plsql_compiler_flags
NAME TYPE VALUE
plsql_compiler_flags string NATIVE
SQL> show parameter native
NAME TYPE VALUE
plsql_native_c_compiler string D:\Borland\BCC55\Bin\BCC32.EXE
plsql_native_library_dir string D:\oracle\ora92\plsql\Lib
plsql_native_library_subdir_count integer 500
plsql_native_linker string D:\Borland\BCC55\Bin\ilink32.exe
plsql_native_make_file_name string D:\oracle\ora92\plsql\spnc_makefile.mk
plsql_native_make_utility string make
I am using Borland C.
I changed a bit in mk file. But when I compile a simpe SP, I am getting PLS-00923: native compilation failed: make:spdtexmk: error.
I guess it could be compile error, So is there any one has a sample make file for borland C on windows platform!! That might helps me!!!

Hi,
i tried everythind to get to runs this under windows 2000
but nothing worked,
the question is, if it's supported
doese anybody knoe here?
With linux it worked in 5 minutes of configuration;
The advantage is that always a c compiler is on board

  • Native Compiling error

We are getting the following error when trying to compile a procedure as NATIVE:
    PLS-00923: native compilation failed: make:spdtexmk:?
    We set the following parameters:
    plsql_native_make_utility     /usr/bin/make
    plsql_native_make_file_name /local/bin/oracle/9.2/plsql/spnc_makefile.mk
    plsql_native_library_dir /local/bin/oracle/9.2/plsql/lib/
    and plsql_compiler_flags=native
The make utility can be envoked and all utilities used in spnc_makefile.mk (ld, nm, cc) can be envoked as well.
    All directories exist.
    We are running 9.2.0.5 64bit on AIX5.2
    Anyone?

The basic problem is that Borland C and VC++ define some things differently, and the header files are geared to VC++.
The way I got around this is to make some adjustments to my C code to impose the Borland definitions in place of the VC++ definitions. I do this creating a .h file that
    o Includes my definitions.
    o Includes jni.h
I then #include my .h file instead of directly including jni.h. That way, I don't need to change jni.h or jni.md.h
Here is roughly what it looks like. (Can't give you the exact code - the files are proprietary and include a lot not-relevant stuff.)
If you run into troubles with some files compiling, and some not, then I suggest you move some of the macro redefinitions to a .cpp file, and just # include that into your own .cpp file.
    (file shell.h)
    #ifndef ShellH
    #define ShellH

  • Package into a native installer fails on Linux (Flex SDK 4.5) : "Invalid AIR file"

    Hi,
We've moved our application to compile against the 4.5 SDK.
We're compiling it with Flash Builder (on mac) into an air file and as our application is using NativeProcess API, we're packaging it on each platform into a native installer with the following command (linux example) : adt -package -target native app.deb app.air
We think we fall into the same issue ashttp://forums.adobe.com/message/3271944#3271944 but for the 4.5 DSK.
On Linux it used to work with the following environment (env1):
    - Ubuntu 10.10
    - Java Sun 1.6.0_24
    - Flex SDK 4.1.0.16076 + Adobe Air SDK 2.5.0
It stops to work when we upgrade to the new Flex SDK (env2):
    - Ubuntu 10.10
    - Java Sun 1.6.0_24
    - Flex SDK 4.5.0.20967 (with the default embeded Adobe Air SDK 2.6)
The faut message is "Invalid AIR file" and nothing is logged in the log file (/home/<username>/.appdata/Adobe/AIR/Logs/Install.log).
    1) The .air file is installing correctly on env2 (without the support of the NativeProcess as expected)
    2) We also tried to compile the project directly on env2 :
    amxml app.mxml
    adt -package -storetype pkcs12 -keystore cert.p12 app.air app-app.xml air.swf
The .air file is installing fine but the packaging into a native process fails in the same way...
    3) We tried to package a native installer of our .air file on env1 and it works!!! (the installed application seems to work fine also on env2!!!)
Are we missing something or does it seems to be a bug of the Flex SDK 4.5?
Are there some restrictions to package a native installer with the Flex SDK 4.1 a air app build with the Flex SDK 4.5 ?
    Thanks in advance,
    Mich

    Hi,
Finally we figure out how to solve the issue.
The packaging into native .deb installer fails as explain above because with the hole Flex SDK 4.5 (adt -version told 2.6.0.1920).
The packaging is successfull if only Air SDK 2.6 is install.
What is strange that both adt seems to be the same "2.6.0.1920" (found with "adt -version").
Can someone from the Adobe dev team explain it?
I suppose as the Flex SDK is not available for the Linux platform, the download only contains the Air SDK for Windows and Mac OS as opposed to the specific download of the Air SDK for te Linux platform...
    Thanks,
    Mich

    Hi,
I think you are not creating that ear correctly.
Could you check the following points ?
    1. make sure all the files you need are there
    2. make sure folder hierararchy is ok
If that's cool: And its still doesnt work:
Export your example ear from weblogic and use that one

  • AIR 3.8, iOS Packaging Failed: "Compilation failed while executing : ld64"

Since upgrading to AIR 3.8, we can no longer package our AIR Application.
We are getting the following error:
    internal_package-ios:
[exec] ld: -pie can only be used when targeting iOS 4.2 or later
[exec] Compilation failed while executing : ld64
    Screenshot Here: http://cl.ly/image/3h2U1g271n1J
Reverting to AIR 3.7 fixes the issue... but we need 3.8 as we need the 4096 texture support that comes with BASELINE_EXTENDED profile.
From googling, this seems like it's related to the iOS SDK included with AIR, but the issue was fixed in AIR 3.7. Seems it has been regressed...

    Hi Shawn,
Since AIR 3.8, we support only PIE enabled binaries, as per Apple recommendation.
For this, the minimum supported iOS version is 4.2. The ANE you are using specifies a minimum iOS version of 4.0 in its platform-iphone.xml, present at: https://github.com/alebianco/ANE-Google-Analytics/blob/master/build/platform-iphone.xml
You will need to change the line:
    <option>-ios_version_min 4.0</option>
    to:
    <option>-ios_version_min 4.2</option>
and rebuild the ANE to make it work.

What would be the cause of the error, would it be related to the way I create the datasource and the table? Or other causes, please help. Thank you.
    Regards,
    Nicholas Lok

It's difficult to tell solely by the messages. One there seems to be a problem finding a base class. One thing that I notice is that the package seems to contain 'book' with a lower case 'b' as in:
    EJB name: BookBean.EJB under LibraryEJBProject\book
Whereas all the error messages are saying that they are having trouble finding something with a package name like 'Book' with a capital 'B'.
Perhaps that is the problem, the package has to be consistently 'book' or 'Book' and can't be both.
Hope I'm right and hope this helps.

But the as i had wrote that am using Apache, Jserv and Cocoon, my site is in XML , XSL format..i can do logical work in XML and representation in two formats one is HTML and one in WML through XSL. so only i have to make all these files and put them in to theirs respective place, htdocs. Then , as u know, it automaticaaly parsed, compiled and processed through parsers and processors provided by servers. So i don't need to compile each java file. Now u suggest me what i have to do? Is their any procedure that Cocoon Engine automaticaaly can increased this size.

  • Native compilation and the ROUND function

Native Compilation Advisor lists the built-in ROUND function as not supported for natively compiled stored procedures.  Is there a suggested workaround?

    oracle by oracle  wrote:
I am trying to test performance of one package and there is only one procedure wich uses just instr and substr internal functions ( I am working with varchar2).
I am having the folowing results: native compilation is twice worst than inetrpreted. What may be the reason?
P.S. I did ALTER SYSTEM FLUSH SHARED_POOL;Yuo should take this into account that the Native compilation is not supposed to make the code always go faster. If I remember correctly, the maximum benefit that Oracle benchmarked for it was about 30% only and taht too, if the code has lots of computational code rather than queries. If your package contains lots of this kind of code. than may be the Native compilation may be faster than the other but it doesn't come with any guarantee like this.
Have a read about it from here,

  • Newer version of the program of native compilation NCOMP

    Hi,
I tried to use the ncomp program to make native compilation of a jar file in an Oracle 8.1.7 Database on Unix platform with jdk 1.2.2.
    It returns an error :
Set the JAVA_HOME to the location of the jdk 1.1.x.
It seems the version of ncomp I have is unable to work with our jdk 1.2.2
Where could I find a newer version of ncomp which work with jdk 1.1.2 ?
    Thanks in advance

  • Error creating files. Compilation failed... when publishing iOS app with AIR 3.1 and Flash 11.5.1

Hello, I'm running Windows 7. I'm using Flash 11.5.1 (that's CS5.5 updated once) and AIR 3.1 to make an iPhone app.
I can export the app perfectly fine with either Ctrl+Enter or F12.
I added all the required things with AIR for iOS settings, such as a p12 certificate and icon files.
I then hit publish. After I hit publish, I got this error:
    Error creating files.
    Compilation failed...
I tried dragging the window to see if there was anything hidden behind the elipses. What can I do to fix this problem?

note sure if I'm much help other than to CONFIRM it is working for me by using the sdk WITHOUT the compiler. Check out adobe's little note: "Note : Flex users will need to download the original AIR SDK without the new compiler."
I am using FB 4.7 with AIR 3.6 and seems to compile correctly for iOS.
    Maybe try reinstalling flash builder?
I honestly don't know if the JRE has anything to do with it... I'm using 1.7 ....to see what JRE you're using, open the Java Control Panel (I right click my java orange icon and hit properties), select the Java tab, then hit "View..."

  • Compilation fails

    Hello,
I am having trouble compiling my weblogic application. I have set up a split directory
and use ant + build.xml file generated by buildXMLGen.
Furthermore my application contains two stateless session EJB's (A and B, where
    A uses B).
This is where i run into problems. When I issue a "ant compile" command, I get
an error that EJB A will not compile, because it refers to EJB B and B is not
    (yet) compiled.
Is there a way to make sure EJB B is compiled first?
Thanks in advance for any help!!

    Hello,
This is the output on screen I get when I issue an "ant compile" command.
As you can see, the source for CommandInputEJB will not compile because it needs
another EJB, namely InputHandlerEJB, that is not yet compiled.
    Thanks so far,
    Arjan

    Hi,
Can you please post the exact error you are getting? The exception and
    stack
trace goes a long way in helping us understand the problem. Thanks!

    Hello,
I am having trouble compiling my weblogic application. I have set up
    a split directory
and use ant + build.xml file generated by buildXMLGen.
Furthermore my application contains two stateless session EJB's (A and
    B, where
    A uses B).
This is where i run into problems. When I issue a "ant compile" command,
    I get
an error that EJB A will not compile, because it refers to EJB B and
    B is not
    (yet) compiled.
Is there a way to make sure EJB B is compiled first?
Thanks in advance for any help!!
