Plug-in site says Shockway Flash vulnerable, needs updating. I did but says I already have new version. Still shows as vulnerable. Currently have version 11.0.1.152 . Update is for 10.3.183.11. Why is it still showing up being vulnerable?
Up above pretty much sums it up for me. Mozzilla Plug-in Site shows that Shockwave Flash is vulnerable and needs updating, when I click on it, it takes me to Adobe Flash Player and the version it wants me to update to is 10.3.183.11. But when I did that it stopped halfway through and told me that I do have an updated version installed and wouldn't complete. But when I went back to the plug-in page, it still shows Shockwave as being vulnerable and needing updated. Does anyone know why this is? I even double checked and went under Troubleshooting and it shows what I have installed and went to the plug-in section and it shows Shockwave as having version 11.0.1.152. But the version that it's telling me to update too is 10.3.183.11, so that would explain why when I tried to update it said I had the current version. But still shows me as being vulnerable. Thanks again but when I went there I don't see the correct version to click on. Everything there just explains what it is and now I see something called IE after it some say 32-bit and 64-bit. I have know idea what those are.
I just usually go to my Mozilla plug-in site and update and never worry about what version it is because the system knows. You can tell I'm not a 'techy' person.
But apparently it's Adobe that's dropped the ball. I went back to their site and went to the new version and when you go directly there to download it pops up with the old version that's been telling me to update too which is 10.3.183.11. I tried going directly to support there but it ends up referring me to this type of support. Apparently if you want to call support up you have to pay to get actual tech support from them. In this case you shouldn't because they have it defaulting to the wrong update. I went to other sites as well but am afraid of downloading the wrong version. Actually, the site you sent me too showed someone else that did the same thing from there and it downloaded the wrong version too. So am hesitant to do it from there.
Guess I'll just hope that since I do have version 11.0.1.152 that it will work fine until they fix the update page.

hello, it sounds like the library is damaged.
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one. -
I dropped my phone down the toilet then turned it off and left it in rice over night now it's saying battery dead and needs to be charged but I've read charing it is the worst thing to do, help please?
After taking a dip in my vest pocket in the washing machine for about 10 minutes, my nearly new 5S spent 5 days in rice and silica gel packets. It definitely dried out, but there is damage to either the battery or the circuit board because it turns on, and I continuously get a blue screen and it reboots every five minutes for a half hour, and then miraculously, it stays on and works perfectly. But I wound up having to fork over $700 for a new 6+. because I couldn't stand the rebooting any longer. I had no insurance, but I do now, Apple insurance, not carrier ins.

I need help, I pluged my iphone to itunes and got a message that said there was an update to download and update, I did but when itunes was rebooting and updating I got an error message. and now the phone is telling me that it cant be activated, to plug it in to itunes or to contact support care.
That message usually indicates that your phone was hacked to unlock it from the original phone carrier, then when you updated or restored it locked back to that carrier.

We have a complete CC business membership and currently have the programs installed on 2 computers but need to add them onto a 3rd. Can we add a licence to our membership or do we need to purchase an additional membership?
If you have Creative Cloud for teams, and you bought the licenses through Adobe direct (via Adobe.com), you can add licenses yourself, and they will be invoiced automatically as you get invoiced for the other two licenses.
Log into adobe.com with your team admin Adobe ID and password.
Once logged in you should be able to access a Manage Team option from the menu.
In the top-right corner there should be an Add Licenses button, that lets you purchase any number of additional licenses.
If you've not purchased through Adobe direct, but through a reseller, you'd need to contact your reseller to add the additional license.

Assuming you have an optical drive in or connected to your MBP, the easiest way to go is to do a backup of your existing iTunes library to DVDs (you may need several) . In iTunes 9, this is done with selecting File->Library->Back Up to Disc... and following the directions. I do not see that capability in the current iTunes, though, but if one is using Tiger, one is limited to iTunes 9.
When the discs are burned, mounting any of the discs on the MBP should cause iTunes (you may need to have it up) to ask if you want to import the files. It goes pretty smoothly, or at least it has for me in Mt. Lion and Win-7. It's a little involved but it does work. -

iTunes tells me there is an iOS update (5.1) but it never gets any further than trying to connect to the iPad server. I've tried updating directly from my iPad and it too times out saying it cannot connect to any server. My regular Apple updates work fine.
I haven't updated yet. Apple's download servers have been too busy. Did you know you can update via wifi instead of connection to your computer?

Want to download .pdf doc, but pop-up says it's unstable, need update plug-in. Tried to update, got error message, with "try later". Same for weeks now. Tried check for updates, Firefox is up to date, clicked update plug-ins... it tries, then again... same error message: "Plugin Finding Service Error. Please try again later".
Been so long now -- when becomes a mighty big question. Looked in forum, no joy.
Please, can someone tell me -- what's the go. I'm absolutely no good with computers, but this needs to get fixed. Should I stop using Firefox or what?

Have tried to download via that link but not sure if successful. Very slow dial-up connection is the pits. Waited hours 'n hours, fell asleep in chair even, finally had to give in and go to bed, left it going. Server does time out every 8-12 hours, so not sure how long it went. The download appeared complete -- ie, did not show any note of failure. Not sure if it would -- some things in the past haven't.
Anyway, had success downloading one much older .pdf file, but the link for one I wanted had expired, and I don't know anything else to try. Tried a couple of other links I have, not sure of age of file -- on clicking link, the browser opened, but nothing more happened.
Wondering -- is the download available in separate pieces instead of one big one? Perhaps worth trying again that way?
Please, if you would be forgiving, and persist with me a little further/longer -- would you make your recommendation/s for next step/s please?

I recently got notification that I have 4 app updates but when I try to update it says to verify my credit card information which I do but says it comes back as declined. Why would it try to pull funds for free app updates?
If you're positive the information is correct, ask the issuing bank why the transaction is being rejected.
You're getting this error because the store can not authorize the card with your bank. -

I really need help with this, my iPod was disabled by my brother and I don't know how to get it back to normal again. I connected it to iTunes and it still shows up there with all my songs. However, the iPod itself is not working. I've tried multiple things but I don't want my data to be erased so im a bit cautious about what to do. Everything should be on your computer, so you can just sync it back.

Updated Photoshop CC but when I launch I cannot see the changes. I have restarted computer and still no changes. I also downloaded CC 2014, but how do I get my plugins there? If I could get the plugins there I would just delete Photoshop CC.

I have an Airport Express that I am trying to use connected by ethernet to my iMac G4 running Mac OS 10.4.11. I need to update the Airport Express softwart in order to use security option WPA2 Personal to connect to the internet through my Airport Extreme. I currently have Airport Express software version 5.6.1. How can I update this software? (I can connect directly to my Airport Extreme by ethernet and download the update that way).
