Plugin cannot be loaded for a certain computer

My plugin compiled with Acrobat SDK 8 by vs2005 and ReaderEnabled it.
I test it for some machine for the same Reader(V9.3),all these are OK.
But there is a certain machine can not load my plugin.
How to resolve this problem?
OS:Windows XP SP3 Chinese Simplified
"Use only certified plug-ins" is not selected.
The plugin is release version.
The plugin's extension is "api" and installed the right path.
Not pressed SHIFT key

Update:
After i installed Acrobat 9 and uninstalled Acrobat 9,it can be loaded.
So, what's the reason of this problem?

The problem is that the plugin was developed through VS 2005 which need Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 SP1 Redistributable Package for release.
From Reader 8 the plugin must be developed through VS2005,but i'm the first time using this tool and dont know there is a package for plugin.
I think Adobe should mention this in the plugin develop guide,at least i think so.

I'm sharing this issue we encountered earlier today so that others might benefit from what we discovered.
We're using Win8.1 Ent and on two of the systems, any accounts created encounter the following message upon attempted login (i.e. login fails):
"User Profile Service failed the sign-in. User profile cannot be loaded"
The event viewer shows this:
Windows cannot copy file
\\?\C:\Users\Default\AppData\Local\Microsoft\VSCommon\12.0\SQM\sqmdata-7696-039-00000.sqm to location
\\?\C:\Users\TEMP\AppData\Local\Microsoft\VSCommon\12.0\SQM\sqmdata-7696-039-00000.sqm. This error may be caused by network problems or insufficient security rights.
DETAIL - Access is denied.
Solution which worked for us
In our instance either setting the appropriate permissions on the affected file, or deleting the file resolved it.

It seems this issue with SQM/CEIP creating a poorly ACE'd SQM file has been around for a very long time, with many causes being the installation of Internet Explorer (as was my case, of deploy IE10 to Win7), but other reasons also occur (as in your case
with VS).
It seems to me that this is a defect in the SQM/CEIP component, but the issue does not consistently occur is all scenarios, which appears to be an excuse to leave the defect uncorrected, so we have to implement ugly workarounds.. :(

Images wont load for a certain website how do I fix this ?

Please help me !! I do a lot of surveys but on one website in particular (Global Testmarket) has for a while stopped showing me their images when I come out of one survey to start another, all I see is a blank white screen. I have asked their support for help on numerous occasions but either they don't understand what I'm trying to tell them or they don't have an answer and wont admit it. This problem is one that only happens on Mozilla Firefox, the others are fine, I am using Windows 7 64 bit.
If anyone has the answer I would be forever grateful as this problem has plagued me for a long time.

Make sure that you allow pages to choose their own colors.
*Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors > Colors : [X] "Allow pages to choose their own colors, instead of my selections above"
Note that these settings affect background images.

If images are missing then check that you do not block images from some domains.
*Press the F10 key or tap the Alt key to bring up the hidden Menu bar.
Check the permissions for the domain in the currently selected tab in "Tools > Page Info > Permissions"
Check "Tools > Page Info > Media" for blocked images
*Select the first image link and use the cursor Down key to scroll through the list.
*If an image in the list is grayed and "Block Images from..." has a checkmark then remove this checkmark to unblock images from this domain.
Make sure that you do not block (third-party) images, the permissions.default.image pref on the about:config page should be 1.
There are extensions like Adblock Plus (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) and security software (firewall, anti-virus) that can block images and other content.

"plugin cannot be initialized" dxf import

Hello,
When I attempt to open a dxf file in Illustrator CS5.1 mac I get the error 'The plugin cannot be initialized for lack of the initialization file "ADINIT.DAT"'. The dxf files are a variety of versions from several different sources. Exporting to dxf seems to work fine. It's quite the pain to run them through another program and convert them first, any help would be appreciated.

I do not know if there is a way to fix this issue if you are having it except to mention that if it is always by the same proportion you can report it as a bug and you can also perhaps use and action with a keyboard shortcut to rescale it. That would get your accuracy back and though a work around not a terrible one to have use a simple keyboard shortcut and voilá!

Plugins don't load

When I open up final cut my plugins don't load for some reason. I haven't done anything to FC lately or loaded any new plugins so I'm not sure why this is happening. Does anyone have an advise.

I had that happen recently. Another poster suggested checking the extension in your plugin folder (Under Library/ Applications support/Final cut pro/plugins. By changing the extension from .bundle to .plugin fixed it for me. You'll have to autheticate with your password each time you make the change.

Screen Shots not loading for various browsers

I am accessing BrowserLab through Dreamweaver CS5 running on MAC OS 10.6.6. There is no problem signing in however when I choose a browser to view a screenshot it times out telling me that the Browser version has "failed to load. The screenshot cannot be loaded for the following reasons: page error". When I click on the Retry button, I get another message saying that "the screen shot was cancelled".
This happens for either MAC or Windows browser versions but not consistently. When I first sign in, I can get at least one screen shot to show up but when I request a different browser, I get the error message. This is a simple XHTML, CSS file.
Any ideas what I'm doing wrong? Thanks.

A few questions:
Are you requesting a local or server preview of the files from Dreamweaver (from the dropdown in the BrowserLab panel in DW)?
Do you still see the same issue with screenshots if you test a public url (e.g. yahoo.com, etc) from within the BrowserLab interface?
After you make the request from DW, don't switch to BL. Do you see any dialog appear within DW asking for permission to access files?
Is it consistently the same browser(s) you're having issues with? And if so, which ones? Have you tried others to see if you get the same messages?
As I understand it, you're making the request from DW, then adding more browsers to your browser set later. Can you try modifying your default browser set to include all the browsers you want to preview, then shut down BL and try the preview again?

Suddenly, certain vi's cannot be loaded into project.

I'm using LabVIEW on a Windows XP machine and a PXI-1031 to send and collect information for an experiment. It's a fairly complicated project with multiple VIs. Suddenly, when I try to open any project on one particular machine (and not the othe 2 in lab), I see an error that certain VIs and CTLs (such as whitespace.ctl and ErrorCluster From Error Code.vi and VISA Configure Serial Port (Instr).vi) cannot be loaded and will be deleted from the project. We've tried restarting both computer and PXI and reinstalling LabVIEW 2009 without success. Any suggestions?

‘iPad is disabled’ fix without resetting using iTunes
Today I met my match with an iPad that had a passcode entered too many times, resulting in it displaying the message ‘iPad is disabled – Connect to iTunes’. This was a student iPad and since they use Notability for most of their work there was a chance that her files were not all backed up to the cloud. I really wanted to just re-activate the iPad instead of totally resetting it back to our default image.
I reached out to my PLN on Twitter and had some help from a few people through retweets and a couple of clarification tweets. I love that so many are willing to help out so quickly. Through this I also learned that I look like Lt. Riker from Star Trek (thanks @FillineMachine).
Through some trial and error (and a little sheer luck), I was able to reactivate the iPad without loosing any data. Note, this will only work on the computer it last synced with. Here’s how:
1. Configurator is useless in reactivating a locked iPad. You will only be able to completely reformat the iPad using Configurator. If that’s ok with you, go for it – otherwise don’t waste your time trying to figure it out.
2. Open iTunes with the iPad disconnected.
3. Connect the iPad to the computer and wait for it to show up in the devices section in iTunes.
4. Click on the iPad name when it appears and you will be given the option to restore a backup or setup as a new iPad (since it is locked).
5. Click ‘Setup as new iPad’ and then click restore.
6. The iPad will start backing up before it does the full restore and sync. CANCEL THE BACKUP IMMEDIATELY. You do this by clicking the small x in the status window in iTunes.
7. When the backup cancels, it immediately starts syncing – cancel this as well using the same small x in the iTunes status window.
8. The first stage in the restore process unlocks the iPad, you are basically just canceling out the restore process as soon as it reactivates the iPad.
If done correctly, you will experience no data loss and the result will be a reactivated iPad. I have now tried this with about 5 iPads that were locked identically by students and each time it worked like a charm.

Once you download it, you can install it, input your serial number, register it and apply all necessary updates.

I don't see any errors in the file - these can be found by searching for '1E ' (note the space after
the E or '2E ' .
At the end of the logfile it shows:
C:\Users\XXXX\AppData\Local\Temp\Temp.Sap\SAPGUI_INST_720\Sap1F6\system\sapbtmp.dll' successfully copied to 'C:\Windows\system32\SAPbtmp.dll', so it does copy the file to the destination directory sucessfully.
I would suggest reinstalling the SAPGUI again but this time without any /package switches
In the logfile it shows:
NwSapSetupEngine.dll: 8.6.1.74
We recommend that you update your installation server with the latest sapsetup patch as per
note below:
http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1587566
You will also require .NET4 runtime to use the latest installer files.
run nwsapsetup again from the server and it should install again.
Any more errors, update the nwsapsetup.log file again.

Why did a ton of adware come with your Firefox down load for your browser? It corrupted my computer and crashed it several times.

I down loaded firefox from your site and all of a sudden all this adware popped up on my computer. I thought I visited a bad site for a minute and tried figuring it out from there. I was wrong. It came with your down load for firefox. Did you intentionally add that to your browser? Or was your site hacked? Adware Linksy was what I found and it went ape on my computer too. I used to use Firefox because I loved the versatility of it. Now I have to use Chrome. I am not happy. Firefox was what I recommended to everyone and recently everyone I know has been getting the same issues.
Is there a reason for all this?

The download link there should not be loaded with adware. If you do not download from the official site, some sites will package Firefox with PUP (potentially unwanted programs). In these situations you should uninstall applications that look suspicious, including Firefox, and run a virus scan after removing them. Then download Firefox again from the link above (or if you prefer a different localization of Firefox: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/)

Do you still have access to the old MacBook Pro? If so, you can transfer the license by copying the com.apple.iwork.plist from Macintosh HD > Library > Preferences to the same location on the new Mac. Note that this IS the main HD Library, not your user library. I have found that these files are not moved during setup or migration.
Are you really running Tiger 10.4.7? If so, you should update to 10.4.11. You can find the updater here. You also might consider buying the retail disk of iWork '09 from a third-party such as Amazon.com or eBay. It will add a lot of features for you. iWork '09 does require Tiger 10.4.11 at a minimum.
