Plz help me regarding jsps

Hi all,
I have menu.jsp which is included in 100 jsp's
in menu.jsp i have lots of db calls so each and evry action this menu is getting called so my application performence is getting decreasing so how can i include menu.jsp in all 100 jsps so i my application works faster and faster.., any suggetions are welcome

PLZ HELP ME PROBLEM :- JSP Pages is slow

HI, i am using oracle 10g application server to deploy my jsp pages.
When i am running the jsp page ie. default.jsp which consist of three combo box which are dependent on each other.
Database :- oracle 10g.
Logic : I am retrieving all the data from the database in to a nested structure and using that nested structure to fill up in the combo box,
Problem : when i m refreshing or opening the page , it takes a lot of time to open. well the data are also not so much huge that it take some time. ]

Why have you declared your own interface Tag?
The server knows nothing about your custom classes.
You should be implementing the javax.servlet.jsp.tagext.Tag Interface.
Actually the easier way is for your tag to extend SimpleTag, which implements the basic interface for you, leaving you to override the bit you want to.

DMS-Object link to business partner (ISU-Module) required. Plz help.

I require to give an object link from DMS to Business partner of ISU module t code BP.
So checked up in SPRO- Control data- maintain key feilds, & i found that BUT001 is the transparent table which is used here. so i inserted the same in object link for my document type, but there was no screen no defined to it so i gave the screen no as 500, the tab has appeared under the objectlink tab in DIR, but the screen is not appearing, it is blank, also in the business partner Transaction the DIR table is not appearing.
What should i do? is there any other setting required, or the table which i have found is wrong. Plz help.

i m creating a rtftextEditor.. with bold, italic ,underline, strikethroug features... i want to save the text with this attributes in a file but the strikethrough attribute does not save in the file.
the code for that i write is..

Sun's RTF package is old and I am not sure they have plan to update it. Many RTF keywords are not handled by the java RTF package. You might want to modify their rtf package. Most of the files in this package are protected, only the RTFEditorKit is public. Look into the src.zip file and check out the RTFGenerator.java file.

Compaq presario c795tu sound driver needed...plz help me...

Plz help me ...... i need conexant HD smart audio 221 sound driver.....
Actually i reinstalled the XP and came to know that the sound is not coming...
when i checked it...sound driver was missing some files likes AUDSYS.exe and UIU32A.exe etc.
By mistake, my friend had been uninstalled the sound driver. then the problem has been increased...
2 days back...i went to local compaq shop...they installed some sound driver which is working but at the same time
head phone and speaker both are working continuously...means if u want to listen through head phone... speaker also working with head phone....
sound is coming through both devices.....
Plz help me regarding this....and provide me presario c795tu audio driver.....

Hi,
Here are the drivers.
Unzip to a folder...use Device Manager.
From Device Manager,right click "Audio Device on High Def Bus",choose Update driver,
No to connect,
Install from a list or specific location,
Select Don't Search, I will choose the driver to install,
For the Hardware Type select 'Show All Devices'
Remove the check from "Show Compatible Hardware" and click on "Have Disk".
Next...browse to the unzipped folder and choose the "WiSVHe5.inf".
Ignore XP when it complains.

Classpath problem plz help me

hi!
i am unable to run my RMI server program .Name of My server class is SumServer.java,it implements SumInterface.java all the files(.class,.java and stub) are at location c:\javaprog\rmi\sum.
I have not put them in any package.
value of classpath is
classpath=c:\jdk1.4\lib;.;c:\javaprog\rmi\sum
i go in sum folder and run the program
c:\javaprog\rmi\sum > SumServer
it gives me following exception.plz help me out.

hi.
you have written in URL i sperfectly right but if this is also not complete one.
i.e url = "http://localhost:8080/dir/xxx.jsp?userName=jasmit&password=vala"
now when u establishing connection i.e
HttpConnection con = (HttpConnection) Connector.open(url,3);
this will work as an declaration but if u want to send that parameter for that you have to get response from the server and that time only original connection is going to establish i.e
when u r writting
int responseCode = con.getResponseCode();
if(reponseCode == 200)
then ur parameter were passed to jsp page.
in jsp page u have to get parameter using request class

String password = request.getParameter("password").toString();

i worked the Jsp in the Tomcat 5.5 Environment it shows me some error.

The implicit objects are avbl only inside scriptlets <%........%> and not inside your own custom methods (which you shouldnt anyways be having, in first place. However its ok since you have just about begun with jsps).
To use the implicit 'out' object within custom methods, you will have to pass them as parameters when you call the methods from within your scriptlets.

How to open a JSP page from a form ??? plz help

hi ..
i want to know how to open a jsp page from a oracle apps form using a button .
the requirement is that whenever we click on the button created on the form, it opens a jsp page.

In portlet project, to navigate between pages, you should not use the URL property to link to a page. Instead, portlets use navigation via action handling. You use the Page Navigation editor to set up links to pages; that is, the navigation editor sets the action property.
Here is an example to hyperlink ans button to open a new page:
# From within the IDE, create a new portlet project. This action creates the project and one page, PortletPage1.jsp.
# Create a second portlet page, called PortletPage2.jsp, for the project.

Tabs in JSP- Plz help-Urgent

I want to have 3 tabs say Tab1, tab2, tab3 in my page and based on which tab is clicked , I have to display the contents of a table.
Ex: if Tab1 is clicked, i have to display contents of Table1 and tab2,table2 and so ...
Plz help with how to link the click on the tab to calling of the JSP file which retrives and displays the data???....

i have found my problem...its a problem about delaying emails like spam protection...ur mail server and and script must run on the same ip...and so my problem solved...
maybe there is a trick for delaying emails even they dont run under the same ip but i dont know..!
