OTHERTHING I WANT TO CHANGE THE TEXTFIELD OF STANDARD INFOTYPE..

HOW CAN I PUT F4 HELP ON MY CUSTOM INFOTYPE FIELD AND STANDARD INFOTYPE FIELD...

1. after adding the additional field goto SE80 ->open the module pool for that infotype and change the display type for that added field on the screen. This dont require key.
2. You need to either change the standard screen text for the same or use the screen exit. But this kind of change to standard infotype is not advisable. Instead hide that field and add another field to that infotype.
3. Provide standard Data Element, Ref Field or the Domain to that that field. It will attach the F4 help to it.

Very urgent - validation failed in field

hello friedns,
i have an issue field called weight in ADF page. i am very new to ADF Technolgy.
1) if user eneters invalid value enters in weight filed it will show alert that Weight - Value should be 0 to 9999.999 only ,i cliked the ok of that alert window, but immedeately it can let me go to the next filed in create page, it should not let me go to next field until i eneter valid value.
2) same validation update page working fine - when i eneter the invalid value , then it should not go next filed to eneter value, until i enter valid value in weght field.
i did the same below validation create and update page.

Include custom infotype 9101 in IDOC

We have configured infotype 9101 and want to include it in an IDOC (HRMD_A07) to be passed to Novell identity management. The appropriate entries have been made in T777D but identity management does not recognize it. I have been told it is not in the correct format however it is very similar to infotype 1013 and it looks to me to be formatted the same.
I am new to IDOCs and would appreciate any suggestions.

I need to know LS200 compatiblity with which backend system...4.7 only or also with5.0 and 6.0.
Is LSO200 comatable with ECC5 and ECC6 also or for ECC 5 and ECC6 we have to use LSO300.

Syntax error in program "SAPLXRSA " -SENT

Hi Guys,
I have done user exit in R/3 datasource when I do the test extraction using RSA3 and geting the data without any error. I've transport the requet to Test Box and tried to do the extraction in TestBox and getting the below SYNTAX Error message. Kindly advise it's very URGET. Thanks in advance.

What happened?
Error in ABAP application program.
The current ABAP program "SAPLRSAP" had to be terminated because one of the
statements could not be executed.
This is probably due to an error in the ABAP program.
In program "SAPLXRSA ", the following syntax error occurred
in the Include "ZXRSAU01 " in line 21:
"Field "ZOXPRO0043" is unknown. It is neither in one of the specified t"
"ables nor defined by a "DATA" statement. "DATA" statement."

What can you do?
Please eliminate the error by performing a syntax check
(or an extended program check) on the program "SAPLXRSA ".
You can also perform the syntax check from the ABAP/4 Editor.
If the problem persists, proceed as follows:

and make a note of the actions and input that caused the
error.
To resolve the problem, contact your SAP system administrator.
You can use transaction ST22 (ABAP Dump Analysis) to view and administer
termination messages, especially those beyond their normal deletion
date.

I think some objects should still lying in the dev. server which are yet to be transported, also try to deactivate and reactivate the project for user exit for BW and transport it .
Also manually request can be created for transporting object "ZOXPRO0043" into quality environment and transport it .

Error "Internal error occurred checking the external " while creating a job

Hi All,
        I am getting an error while trying to schedule a job, Im not very shure abt what the job does, the user tried it and she got an error and asked me to do it.
        A similer kind of job has been created in an other system and it works fine there. This job should run monthly and belowis the job step
        The job runs on an external command and following are the paramerters

I think the issue is with the server .
Please check whether the Server name you are giving has the all the RFC connections.
I mean Remote Connection with the Server is establised or not.

Payment run getting released ERROR

When trying to do the payment run I have executed the following steps:
1. Entered the parameters
2. Proposal run has been done
3. Proposal has been edited
4. After the above steps when I make a payment run , the status tab shows
           Parameters have been entered
         Proposal has been created
         Proposal has been edited
         Payment run has been released on 13.09.2009 14:53 Can any one help me with solution as to why is this happening. The invoices also got bloced during one identification run
Its very urget. Solutions appreciated asap.

We have the same F110 batch run with this status:
Payment run has been released 05/19/10 08:18:25
We tried the delete output suggestion but the option is not activated thus we could not proceed with deleting the batch and facilitate reprocessing.
This "released" status came about when the USER is starts to do "payment run" a power shutdown occurred making the batch
"stucked" somewhere. Worse is, no FI-Document was created.
We tried changing the prioritization status of the batch job but it did not help.
SAP experts, your support is highly appreciated.

Error in startsap on HP-UX

Hi All,
 I installed SAP 2004 Dialoge instance on HP-UX. After Installing, when I try to start SAP, I am getting the following error:

Problem in mapping-BAPI to file.

Hi all,
I am working on an bapi to file scenerio.My requirement is 2 files need to created in the target ,
First file has the payload and its name(filename) needs to hav message id.
Second file is a catalog file which only holds the name of the first file(Howmany ever file are reaching target,this file wil hav names of all those files.).
I have used multi mapping wherein for the first structure i hav done dynamic configuration to generate filename and its wrking fine.
For the second stucture (has only 1 field for passing filename)i wrote following UDF and mapped it

but now output of the second file is empty ie the filenames of the first file is not present in it.

heyy...thanks for that, but that was a typing mistake..problem is elsewhere, i had tested by mapping that field to a constant, even then no value was present in output.
My structure looks like below.

Message1 and message2 are 2 separate files in output.
Message1's output is correctly generated.But for message2 no output atall.

How to handle the pop-up Screen in LSMW - Recording

I am doing the LSMW-Recording for Pricing Conditions.there are so many condition types are there.
my problem is while uploading the data from flat file,if record alredy exists in SAP system, it will display one Pop up screen, says "the record already exists do you want to overlap it".so that time it has to hit enter and has to overlap the existing records.
can any one please help me..this is very urget to me.

Create a Distribution list using SO23 and add Users whom to recieve messages.
Modify your Inbound function module to handle if idoc failed to post by calling the function module: SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1

i am using generate to option to convert the oracle report output to rtf format. i am getting the rtf file but the file is not as report all columns were comming one after one means in report

u can convert report into text file using below parameter setting
first u set report's design in character units to yes
now u set system parameter
DESNAME : path of destination file where u want to create file
DESTYPE: file
MODE :character
and u search dflt.prt file into oracle froms and report's folder
and just change that file and set height and width as per requirement
and now run report
u can get text file output

Capture File name from the messageFileUpload bean

Hi All,
Please let me knw, how to capture the file name from the messageFileUpload bean. I have attached a blobdomain type view attribute to this bean. I am able to get the file content , but not able to capture the file name entered.
Please help me ...very urget...

Error installing the Application in a different instance after import

Hi,
Very urget..logged a TAR but hoping to get some input from the forum.
Version: 1.6.0.00.87
Problem: 1.Generated the application export file from development (tried both UNIX and DOS formats).
2. Imported the file into test instance successfully
3. Tried to install and getting the following error:
ORA-20001: GET_BLOCK Error. ORA-20001: GET_STMT error. ORA-06502: PL/SQL:
numeric or value error: character string buffer too small ORA-06512: at
"FLOWS_010600.WWV_FLOW_LANG", line 548 ORA-06512: at
"FLOWS_010600.WWV_FLOW_IMP_PARSER", line 678 ORA-06550: line 107, column 1:
PLS-00103: Encountered the symbol "0" when expecting one of the following: ) ,
* & | = - + < / > at in is mod remainder not rem => .. <an
Did initial walk-thru of the code in the export file (size 4.11MB) and found the following:
In the calls to flows_010600.create_report_region procedure some of the varchar2 parameters are being passed number format values and number parameters varchar2 values, for example:
p_display_sequence (defined as IN VARCHAR2 DEFAULT NULL) => 10 (passed value),
p_display_column (defined as IN VARCHAR2 DEFAULT NULL) =>1(passed value),
p_query_num_rows (defined as IN NUMBER DEFAULT NULL) => '10'(passed value),
p_query_row_count_max (defined as IN NUMBER DEFAULT NULL) => '15000'(passed value),
Is this okay?
And I have not found the calls to FLOWS_010600.WWV_FLOW_LANG and FLOWS_010600.WWV_FLOW_IMP_PARSER in the export file.
Any help is greatly appreciated as this is impacting the testing schedule, which is in turn impacting our go-live date for this application.

There seems to be intermittent bugs in the App Builder Import application parser when the code has large un-broken chunks of text without whitespace.
Try running the export file in SQL*Plus (connected as the parsing schema), that usually works better.
