Pnone engaged after receiving outside call

We received a marketing call yesterday , and have not been able to make or receive calls since. I assume its still connected somehow ? How do I disconnect?

It would normally disconnect on its own. If you pickup the phone, can your hear anything?
Try picking the receiver up, and pressing the "recall" button, to see if you get dial-tone again. If not, then its more likely to be a fault on your line, or in the exchange, so you will have to report it to BT.

  • After receiving a call and ending, it doesn't go back to the task you were on.

After installing to ios7, my iphone 5 started to bring me to the "phone app" after receiving a call instead of the task I was on. For example, I would be on safari and I receive a call while on Safari, then, after hanging up, the phone would not go back to safari. Instead, it will open my "phone app". I've tried resetting my phone and it continues to do this. It's quite annoying. Has anyone else experienced this bug?

Ok, don't press STOP, just press "menu" or "title" without pressing stop.
BTW, I tested both a commercial DVD (Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade) and and a iDVD disk in my Panosonic player and on my Mac with the Apple DVD player.
On the Panosonic Player: If I press Stop on either DVD, I go to a blank screen. If I press menu once and wait a sec or two, both DVDs go back to the main menu.
On the Apple DVD player: If I press Stop on either DVD, I go to a blank screen, and pressing "menu" gives me the "not permitted" warning for both DVDs.....
So It seems like fro me, iDVD works just like the commercial DVD on both the Mac and the DVD player.....

  • Losing connection with in-car bluetooth few seconds after receiving a call

My iphone is only able to hold connection with my Nokia CK-7W bluetooth for a few seconds when i receive a call. i'm wondering why the phone disconnects, as this results to not being able to use the car's audio system.

If you are concerned, change your Apple ID Password:
Apple ID: Changing your password - Apple Support
After you have done that, on your iPhone go to Settings > App Store and iTunes
    Tap on your Apple ID
Sign out of your Apple ID
Sign back in with the ID and new password

  • Iphone4s keyboard doesn't appear when I add a new contact after receiving a call

iphone4s keyboard doesn't appear when I add a new contact after receiving a call

Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new).  Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.

  • Phone locks after receiving a call whilst taking a picture. This is a bug!

Does anybody else have this issue? I'm sure it's a bug with the iphone5 and iOs.
Basically, I accesed the camera function from the lock screen (upwards swipe), then I received an incoming call. After the call ended the phone did not return to the camera function, but instead just showed a black screen with the top icons still present. After pressing the home and lock keys nothing happened. The only way to get me out of the "freeze" was to hold down the lock key for 4 seconds. The "Turn off Phone" prompt was shown, by selecting cancel the phone was returned to the home screen display.
This is repeatable and  is only on my iPhone 5 with iOS 6.1.2. This was tested on an iphone 4s (6.1.2) and did not lock up.
Looking forward to see if this is another Apple issue!

I tried to return my iPhone today. They did a factory reset in the shop and the problem got fixed.
However, I then returned home, synced the phone to iTunes and the problem came back.
I returned to the shop again, he did a factory reset again and the phone was fixed.
But now, I cannot plug it into iTunes in fear that it will break again!
I am using Windows and the only apps that I am syncing are Facebook, Skype, Remote and Google.
Has anyone else had this problem? Is it my iTunes set up or does my computer have a virus or something?
    Please help!

  • Browser is non functional after receiving phone call while streaming audio

If I browse to a site that streams audio and play that audio, when a call comes in I am able to answer the call and hang up but when I go back to the browser it appears that the Quicktime window that plays the audio is in the background behind some kind of black modal window except for a thin space at the top of the screen. About the same size as the window for an active call if you do other things with your phone while in a call. I can still hit the Done button on the top left hand corner but that is the end of it. I can't use the browser anymore until I reboot the phone(which I find myself doing quite frequently since the iOS4 update...it reminds me of my Windows Mobile 5 phone it replaced).

  • IPhone question:  when I receive a call from someone who is not in my contacts and I then decide to add that number to my contacts, is there a way to put it directly into a specific group?

After receiving a call on my iPhone 4s I decide I want to add their number to a specific group in my contacts using the "Create New Contact" option.  When I do this it only is established in the "All Contacts" group.  Is there a way to add it directly to a specific group?

  • IPhone 4 Can't receive incoming calls and sms after 3G has been activated

I can't receive incoming calls and sms on my iPhone 4 after the 3G connection has been activated and used actively by me. Outgoing calls and messages do work and as long as I use the Wi-Fi connection everything's fine but the problem appears after switching to 3G. Any help? Thx in advance!

I think the next step is to do a reset by holding the sleep and home buttons down at the same time until the Apple logo appears.  If you haven't done this before, keep holding the buttons when the turn off slider appears.  The screen will go black and after what seems like an eternity, actually several seconds, the Apple logo will appear.  When the logo appears, release the buttons.

  • After update to IOS 4.3.5 my Iphone incoming and out going calls is not working properly and I have to remove the SIM regulerly to conduct or receive a call

after update to IOS 4.3.5 my Iphone incoming and out going calls is not working properly and I have to remove the SIM regulerly to conduct or receive a call
It is not practicale to do this always any one faces the same problem

There may be a problem with the SIM card. Get a new SIM card from your carrier - there should be no charge for a replacement.
If no change with a new SIM card, the standard troubleshooting steps in order are:
Power your iPhone off and on.
An iPhone reset, which is done by pressing and holding the home button and the sleep/wake or on/off button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo and then release.
Restore your iPhone with iTunes from your iPhone's backup.
Restore your iPhone with iTunes as a new iPhone or not from your iPhone's backup.
If no change after any of these steps in order, your iPhone has a hardware problem.

  • After updating to iOS 7 the contact photos no longer appear when I receive a call. How can I get them to show again?

After updating to iOS 7 the contact photos no longer appear when I receive a call. How can I get them to show again?

I'm having the identical problem on my iPhone 4 after upgrading to IOS 7--no ability to update apps or download new apps.  Here is what Apple tech support emailed to me:
I understand that you are unable to download or update applications after updating iOS7 on your iTunes. I know you must be eager to get this resolved and I will be happy to help you today.
... to help you better with this issue I would request you to please try this steps given below to resolve your issue.
    Please follow this steps:
    1) Double tap the home button
    2) Hold down on an icon
    3) Tap the red "X" on iTunes, and the App Store.
    4) Tap Settings > Store > Tap your Apple ID, and choose sign out
    5) Tap Settings
    6) Tap General
    7) Tap Reset
    8) Tap Network Settings
Once it has been closed with multi-tasking, and you have rebooted the device in the network settings reset, please sign in, and try again.
Howevr, if you are facing the same issue than for this issue, you may need to call our AppleCare technical support team. A technical Advisor will be able to tell you about Apple's complimentary and fee-based support. The technical Advisor can also assist you in determining what option might be most helpful to you in this case.
Mildly amusing that the instructions for force-closing a program are the IOS 6 instructions, which do not work on IOS 7.
Otherwise I'm having a little success with this.  Some apps (not all) are updating. It seems that a few more apps update each time I go through the process (close everything, sign out, and either reset or reboot, then go to the app store, sign in and try to update all).  So far it has been a very lengthy, iterative process.

  • Lync response group stops after a while with receiving incomming calls

    Hi Folks,
We have a strange issue with the response groups of Lync.
It seems that the response group randomly stops working, what means that the users can't receive their call trough the response groups.
Only the response group call(s) don't work, the pstn -> lync lync-> lync call just works fine.
The quick fix is to restart one of the Lync front end servers.
But, that is not really a solution.
The event viewer don't show anything about this problem. Also the Lync monitoring service don't show anything.
Sometimes restarting the Windows Lync response group services solves the problem, but most of the time we need to restart the whole server.
I'm curious some people has the same experience.
If you need more information about our deployment, please feel free to ask.

    Hi,
I suggest you try to gather some logs on the Mediation server to see what is happening. Please use Lync logging tool and capture the data for S4
and then try to see if there are any errors after reporduce the problem.
Please try to enable logging tool to get detailed report:

  • How do I get the contact photo to full screen size when receiving a call after iOs 7.1 update..?

how do Iget the contact photo to full screen size when receiving a call after iOs 7.1 update..?

I went to the link. I selected iPHONE.  There was a big iPhone icon above the comment box -- so I was absolutely, positively on the right page.  I spent five minutes or so crafting a constructive comment as to why I wanted the full photo feature back on incoming calls on iOS7.  Then...i noticed the box below the comment area asked 'What operating system are you on?'.  And the drop down selection list included every operating system since Job's garage days -- but not one single iOS entry.  No iOS entries on an iphone page.  Unless I'm missing something, I think anyone writing a feedback comment is wasting his/her time.
