PNPCE LDB search help shows all action types?

Hi All!
I use pnpce in my program. Want to select all vacations in 302 infotype.
By "search help" button i use "HR Master Record: Infotype 0302 (Additional Actions)" sh.
P* structures (such p0298, p0302) filles up with ALL "Action types" - not only with "V7" which i specified.
Tell me pls why?

Hi,
I understood from the qn that you have used PNPCE as LDB.You want to select some specific action from F4 help in input.That is not getting populated.
Sometimes, entry might be restricted for hits.After pressing F4, make the maximum no. of hits as blank.

    The Rh10 Multiscreen HTML5 output will work on many devices but I don't think there is any output that will work on any device. "Any" covers Kindle Touch and so on and is just too broad.
    Restrict that to any PC, smartphone or tablet and things change.

  • Search Hierarchy for All Enumerated Types

    I have inherited a large hierarchy of code (about 1200 VI's) and am in the process of modifying it.  Unfortunately the previous developers who have worked on the code either did not know about Type Definitions or chose not to use them for the challenge.  I have updated an enumerated type and after poking around have found that there are many others like it peppered throughout the hierarchy that also need updating.  Their names are similar but not necessarily the same, close enough that if I could search over all enumerated types in the hierarchy I chould most likely pick out the ones I need and dare I say replace them all with a single type defined enumeration.  The problem is that I dont know how to search a hierarchy for all enumerated types, I see an option to search for all front panel terminals but the search quits after finding 2000 (not to mention that this enumeration will exist as control, constant or indicator).  Anyone have any ideas?

    For the BD this should work.

  • Restrict search help results on order types

    I need to restrict search help results on the account assignment category  for order type for the users when creating a SC. I have define fix values on the attributes PM_AUART & ANR & KNT (Order type, Order & Account assignment category) and maintained the related others PM attributes as well. But when I select the search help the system brings up all the Orders type and not the ones defined at the user attributes -  PM_AUART (Order type). Do I am missing something? How can I restrict the search help when searching for order types?

    Standard SAP has the following methods For Stock transport order:
    1) One Step Transfer stock without using purchasing documents; Use movement type 301.
    2) Two Step Transfer stock without using purchasing documents; Use movement type 303 in Supplying plant and movement type 305 in receiving plant.
    3) Using Standard Transport Order (STO) without delivery in two steps. STO created in T-Code ME27, receiving plant posts goods issue (for returns), movement type 351 and supplying plant post goods receipt from using movement type 101.
    4) Using Standard Transport Order (STO) with delivery in one step. STO created in T-Code ME27, Receiving plant creates shipment and Goods issue document (for materials to be returned) with movement type 647 and goods receipt document with movement type 101 both created in one step.
    5) Using Standard Transport Order (STO) with delivery in two steps. STO created in T-Code ME27, Receiving plant creates shipment and Goods issue posted (for materials to be returned) with movement type 641.Goods receipt is posted in the supplying plant, movement type 101.
    6) Using Transportation scheduling agreement (TSA) with delivery in two steps. TSA created in T-Code ME37. Receiving plant creates shipment and Goods issue document (for materials to be returned) with movement type 641. Goods receipt is posted in the supplying plant, movement type 101.
    To achieve it, necessary configurations has to be done in Tcode- OMGN.
    SPRO>> Materials management>> Purchasing>> Purchase Order>> Set up Stock transport Order:
    1. Plant: For the receiving plant, maintain customer No-Plant (If using STO with delivery), for the Sales Org, Dist channel and Division.
    2. Checking Rule: Create checking rule.
    3. Define checking rule : Usually no change required here.
    4. Assign delivery type/checking rule: Assign the document type(UB) - Supplying plant- Delivery type(NL).
    5. Purchasing document type: Maintain the supplying plant- Receiving plant relationships for the doc type-UB, either 1-step or 2-step, as per business.

  • 'All My Files' doesn't show all file types (e.g. .Zip)

    Does anyone know how to make the 'All My Files' option in Finder display Zip files and Folders? 
    When I look at the search criteria, 'All My Files' seems to be only looking for 'Documents' and 'com.microsoft.'.

    'All My Files' doen't even show pdf and doc files that I know are on my machine.
    Maybe should be called 'Barely Some of My Files.'
    I went into 'Search Criteria' and put in only one criteria line, searching for "any" file of "any" type.
    This seemed to work.

  • Is there a limit to step types? "Insert step" doesn't show all step types.

    I am observing a weird behavior with TestStand 2.0. As soon as the number of step types that i created goes beyond 60, I can't see some of the steps in the "Insert Step" pop up dialog. It doesn't show the arrows at the top and bottom, as usually, and only shows 53 options to pick, even though there should be 61 items. If remove the step type I created last, I get all of the step types available to be selected. On the other hand, if I open the same files in version 4.1, all of the types are shown. Is there something I can do with version 2.0 to get over this issue?

    I tried replicating this issue in TestStand 2.1 and saw a similar problem, though not exact.  I had enough step types to make two columns in the Insert Step pop-up dialog, but some of the steps before it broke into a new column did not show up.  I could still access those though using the arrow keys.  After using the mouse pointer to highlight a step type, you can use the arrow keys to navigate down into the part of the list that isn't shown on the screen and hit enter to insert the step.  If you know exactly where your step should be in the list, you can select it and insert it, but other than that, there's no other way around it.  As you noted, this was a bug in TestStand 2.0/2.1 and it was resolved in a later version, so this is no longer a problem with current versions of TestStand.

  • Spotlight search not showing all files

    Hello,
    I am trying to do a spotlight search on several 10.4 machines that I know have a certain folder.
    When I do a "name contains" search for this folder, the search does not find it on some machines.
    However, the same search finds the folder on other machines.
    On the machines where it doesn't find the folder, it does find files with-in the folder, if I select them, I can see the path.
    Is there an issue with the spotlight search where it sometimes won't return folders?

    Client machine version 10.4.6

    Have you specified any settings in Spotlight's System Preference pane, such as deselecting certain file types? If not, reindex the drive.

  • Finder search not showing all files

    I'm using Finder to search for files on a server connected to my computer at work. The search results I am getting do not include all the files that meet my search criteria. For example, I am looking through photo files for any files with "34" in the name. Some files show up, but not all of them. See screenshot. I am searching in the "Branded Photoshoot" folder, and I am getting some results (Branded Photoshoot/Hilton Universal/IMG_1434), but another file that is in folder, though a different subfolder, (Branded Photoshoot/Architectural Center/IMG_1534) is NOT showing up. What is causing that subfolder and its files to not be included in the search results?

  • Captivate 8: Zoom area doesn't show all action going on inside it

    I'm using Captivate 8. I want to zoom in to a line and then explain what elements it has by highlighting each element in turn. I have three Highlights, and the Zoom-area shows only the first one, then this Highlight stays in the Zoom-area and other Highlights are not shown. The first Highlight overlaps with the 'Zoom for' time of the Zoom-area.
    When I play the slide in the Playback mode, everything works fine, but in the Preview mode, or when I publish the project, it doesn't work. Has anyone seen anything like this? Is there a workaround?

    As you have discovered, the zoom source area is not dynamic. It just grabs a static copy of whatever is in the area and zooms it to be larger.
    What you need to do is fashion the highlights so that they are on that larger area where you want them. Or, create a new slide with an image of the zoomed up as part of the slide and add the highlights to that slide.

  • Search help for orders not showing favorites because of backend search help

    Dear Experts,
    We are on an SRM 5 implementation.
    As a cost assignment, we want to add an order. We have added authorization object BBP_FUNC to the authorization profile because we need the backend search help, showing all orders. Is there a way that we can change the binoculars to a drop down box? That way, users could assign multiple orders in PPOMA and use as a favorite. Or is there another way to use a favorites selection of orders (from PPOMA) together with the use of backend search help.

    If you've given users access to the search help functionality you will always get the binoculars.
    This would still be the case if you have favorites maintained for users.
    If you want a drop-down list to appear instead you'll need to maintain all the relevant entries as attributes in the org structure via PPOMA_BBP and then remove the search help Auth Object.
    It's a bit of a catch 22 really.

    how can i change the data elemte of an parameter in the search help?
    The selektion method of the search help is a view and the data element comes from the DB.
    Maybe it is possible to change the length of the parameter in the result list? That would help, too!

    Is it helpful? In search help show full name, but in parameter, only 8 first chars. Is it what you want to do?

  • Search help for position field

    Hi All,
         I am working on custom infotype and I have included a field called position, here the problem that I am facing is, the F4 help is getting displayed without any restriction.
         But in Infotype 0001's position I could able to see the structure search and aswell I could able to select the option of 'More Search help' where in i can select the F4 to be based on either Search term or Structure Search or Abbreviation and Name or Search Term with Restrictions or Free Search.
        But in the custom infotype I dont have the option of selecting these option. How can I make this field to provide the structure search instead of the current F4 which is getting populated without any restrictions.

    Actually, this search help has dialog type as 'display results immediately' so, it directly shows help result. What you see in PA30 or other standard transaction is due to code written in '...on value-request'.
    So, either you do the same thing in your code or create similar search help with different dialog type unless someone can give better solution.

  • Dropdown help on textbox just like Google textbox search help dropdown

    I am on a requirement to show dropdown help while typing a text in textbox in ABAP webdynpro
    For ex: If I type "P"  in textbox, dropdown help show all related coustomers name whose names starts with "P" . Similarly, If I type " Bang" then dropdown help shows all words whose name starts with Bang.
    Is this dropdown possible? or what else you think might be best suitable for such kind of search help just like in Google TextBox (Where you type and it shows all related words in tghe dropdown)
    Please help if anyone worked/aware in such reqmt?

    Try with OVS (ObjectValueSelector)in web dynpro ,in this we search with  employee name like P*   , it gives all employee names started with P.

  • Need some help in creating Search Help for standard screen/field

    I need some help in adding a search-help to a standard screen-field.
    Transaction Code - PP01,
    Plan Version - Current Plan (PLVAR = '01'),
    Object Type - Position ( OTYPE = 'S'),
    Click on Infotype Name - Object ( Infotype 1000) and Create.
    I need to add search help to fields Object Abbr (P1000-SHORT) / Object Name (P1000-STEXT).
    I want to create one custom table with fields, Position Abb, Position Name, Job. Position Abb should be Primary Key. And when object type is Position (S), I should be able to press F4 for Object Abb/Object Name fields and should return Position Abbr and Position Name.
    I specify again, I have to add a new search help to standard screen/field and not to enhance it.
    This is HR specific transaction. If someone has done similar thing with some other transation, please let me know.
    There is no existing search help for these fields. If sm1 ever tried or has an idea how to add new search help to a standard screen/field.
    It's urgent.

    A search help exit is a function module for making the input help process described by the search help more flexible than possible with the standard version.
    This function module must have the same interface as function module F4IF_SHLP_EXIT_EXAMPLE. The search help exit may also have further optional parameters (in particular any EXPORTING parameters).
    A search help exit is called at certain timepoints in the input help process.
    Note: The source text and long documentation of the above-specified function module (including the long documentation about the parameters) contain information about using search help exits.
    Function modules are provided in the function library for operations that are frequently executed in search help exits. The names of these function modules begin with the prefix F4UT_. These function modules can either be used directly as search help exits or used within other search help exits.     During the input help process, a number of timepoints are defined that each define the beginning of an important operation of the input help process.

    1. SELONE

    Entries that are deleted from SHLP_TAB in this step are not offered in the elementary search help selection. If there is only one entry remaining in SHLP_TAB, the dialog box for selecting elementary search helps is skipped. You may not change the next timepoint.
    The timepoint is not accessed again if another elementary search help is to be selected during the dialog.
    2. PRESEL1
    After selecting an elementary search help. Table INTERFACE has not yet been copied to table SELOPT at this timepoint in the definition of the search help (type SHLP_DESCR_T). This means that you can still influence the attachment of the search help to the screen here. (Table INTERFACE contains the information about how the search help parameters are related to the screen fields).
    3. PRESEL
    Before sending the dialog box for restricting values. This timepoint is suitable for predefining the value restriction or for completely suppressing or copying the dialog.
    4. SELECT
    Before selecting the values. If you do not want the default selection, you should copy this timepoint with a search help exit. DISP should be set as the next timepoint.
    5. DISP
    Before displaying the hit list. This timepoint is suitable for restricting the values to be displayed, e.g. depending on authorizations.
    6. RETURN (usually as return value for the next timepoint)
    The RETURN timepoint should be returned as the next step if a single hit was selected in a search help exit.
    It can make sense to change the F4 flow at this timepoint if control of the process sequence of the Transaction should depend on the selected value (typical example: setting SET/GET parameters). However, you should note that the process will then depend on whether a value was entered manually or with an input help.
    7. RETTOP
    You only go to this timepoint if the input help is controlled by a collective search help. It directly follows the timepoint RETURN. The search help exit of the collective search help, however, is called at timepoint RETTOP.
    8. EXIT (only for return as next timepoint)
    The EXIT timepoint should be returned as the next step if the user had the opportunity to terminate the dialog within the search help exit.
    9. CREATE
    The CREATE timepoint is only accessed if the user selects the function "Create new values". This function is only available if field CUSTTAB of the control string CALLCONTROL was given a value not equal to SPACE earlier on.
    The name of the (customizing) table to be maintained is normally entered there. The next step returned after CREATE should be SELECT so that the newly entered value can be selected and then displayed.
    10. APP1, APP2, APP3
    If further pushbuttons are introduced in the hit list with function module F4UT_LIST_EXIT, these timepoints are introduced. They are accessed when the user presses the corresponding pushbutton.
    Note: If the F4 help is controlled by a collective search help, the search help exit of the collective search help is called at timepoints SELONE and RETTOP. (RETTOP only if the user selects a value.) At all other timepoints the search help exit of the selected elementary search help is called.
    If the F4 help is controlled by an elementary search help, timepoint RETTOP is not executed. The search help exit of the elementary search help is called at timepoint SELONE (at the

    This module has been created as an example for the interface and design of Search help exits in Search help.
    All the interface parameters defined here are mandatory for a function module to be used as a search help exit, because the calling program does not know which parameters are actually used internally.
    A search help exit is called repeatedly in connection with several
    events during the F4 process. The relevant step of the process is passed on in the CALLCONTROL step. If the module is intended to perform only a few modifications before the step, CALLCONTROL-STEP should remain unchanged.
    However, if the step is performed completely by the module, the following step must be returned in CALLCONTROL-STEP.
    The module must react with an immediate EXIT to all steps that it does not know or does not want to handle.
