PO net price updation with respect to contract net price change

We have a requirement: Whenever net price in Contract is changed, net price in open purchase orders (for which GR has been not done yet) which are created with reference to that contract updated automatically.
For example net price in a conract is 13 USD and there are 5 open POs. now net price (PB00) in contact is changed to 13.5 USD without changing the condition validity date, then it should be automatically updated in those 5 POs.

Hi Manoj,
This is possible using "Automatic Document Adjustment" functionality (MM - Purchasing -- PO - Follow-on Functions - AAA).
Here's the process.
1. Set Document Index active flag in pur. view of vendor master.
2. Create work list (MEI4)
3. Run MEI1
2 & 3 above can be run daily via batch jobs which will pick up contract price changes and update relevant PO's.
Cheers !

    HI
first of all you need to make the plant as the valuation area in the ecc and do the delte download for the material master update through CRM parameters.  here you must be very care full about the system.  you need to seleted the delta down in the srm crm paratmeter not initial down load.
in the delta down load the system will update the current setting in the ecc for the materil. then you will get the exact price for the material what you have sent for the plant.

  • No contract price updation with Catalog

    Hi All,
I am working with classic scenario.I have created catalog for product master. Also I have maintained contract for same products in R/3.
Then I maintained vendor list for those products in SRM.
Now when I shop any product from catalog by refering the contract as a automatic source determination, I am able to create PO which gets replicated in backend R/3 but this PO takes the prices from catalog and not from contract.
Do you have any idea regarding this?
    regards,
    Navneet

    Hi Navneet,
The price from a catalog always leads, even when a contract is involved, the functionlaity may be different if you also pass the SOS directly from the catalog rather than propose it after the catalog transfer, i.e. pass the contract id and item id in the OCI transfer also. If this is done an SOS_CHECK is performed which may (not sure on this) update the price based on the provided contract. Otherwise you can adjust the response by using the catalog transfer badi if desired.

  • PO with reference to contract nett price decimal place

    In a PO  with reference to contract when user ordered qty 0.046 and contract price = $100.00 with a 7 % tax rate, SAP takes (0.046 * 100) * 1.07 = 4.922
However as PO is up to 2 decimal place, the nett price is cut off to 4.92
    Thus calculation of PO price (4.92 / 0.046) = 106.95652173u2026
When rounded off to 2 decimal places, it becomes 106.96
But in actual fact, it should 107.00
Is there any way I can bypass this error?

    HI,
The only solution I see is to create smaller unit of measure in a way that instead of ordering  0.046 you order 46, 0r 460.

  • Sales order creation with respect to contracts

    Hi Guys,
I am trying to create a saleorders with referece to contract for which in the background I configured so that during my sales order creation I see the pop-up box with all existing contracts for a specified sold-to party.
This process is so painful that order entry people have to manually select from the big list (pop up box consisting of huge list).
Is there any way so that I can automate this process insetead of selecting contracts from that list.
    Regards
    Krishna

    Hi Ravi,
Thanks for your solution and could you please give me some more details what is the neame of the user exit.
and welcome for some more suggestions.
    Thanks
    Krishna
One way is to create the order with reference to the Contract and then the system will not give the pop up for the existing contracts.
The other way to automate the process is by using a userexit. Here the system should check all the existing valid contracts for this sold to party and should select the oldest or latest valid contract, as per the client choice.
    Thanks,
    Ravi

  • My local BestBuy store won't let me price match with Walmart because Walmart's price is too low

as what title said(NOT clearance item)
I was supposed to get the movie tonight
here is the movie at BestBuy:
    Titanic (4-Disc)(Blu-ray/DVD Combo Pack)(with e-copy) 1997 BestBuy Link SKU: 5401018      BestBuy is selling $21.99
Here is the SAME ITEM at Walmart:
    {removed per forum guidelines} is selling $3.58
I'm living in NYC, no Walmart around
I would have to pay something like $4 shipping from Walmart to get this movie
I still have about over $300 BestBuy GC plus elite membership to get a free shipping
Is anyone can tell me the price protection/price match policy for BestBuy?

    Hello williamtan,
Welcome to the forum! Using our Price Match Guarantee can be a fantastic way to save some money on your purchases while still visiting your preferred stores. It is discouraging to hear you may have been dissatisfied with your experience requesting this price match on a copy of Titanic at our Atlantic Center store in Brooklyn, NY.
Per our Price Match Guarantee, sadly we do not price match WalMart.com. That being said, we would price match a Wal-Mart that is within a 25 mile radius of one of our stores, assuming the product meets the rest of the criteria, including being the identical item. Unfortunately, as you state there aren’t any Wal-Marts around, we wouldn’t be able to provide this price match. Furthermore, upon my review, it does seem that these may not be identical items.
Given this information, it would seem that the Atlantic Center store would have been correct in denying this price match, although I’m sorry if you were provided any inaccurate information as to the reason for the denial. When such instances come along, we should be sure we are courteous and clearly explain the Price Match Guarantee. I apologize if this experience has caused you any dismay.
Thank you for taking the time to register with the forum to share your experience with us! Please know that I’ve made sure to note your price match experience at our Atlantic Center store in detail so that we may have it available to better our methods in the future. If you should have any questions, please let us know!

  • BOM integrity in SAP with respect to part version, engineering changes-DMS

    Hai folks,
We have a concept of engg bom and plant bom, when a part no. is intiated for the change management
it goes through a version change which is handled through DMS in SAP.
The scenario is, i want to sink the version of the part with my document version .(i.e in our plant our component part number and drawing document number are same.)
When i do a bom comparison using CS14, different field comparison's are thrown, except for the version difference.
I doubt , since DMS is a centrally controlled area, it makes no sense to compare versions in the same SAP boundary, but can it be managed through some DMS object links in our system.
Pl throw some concepts to ensure different BOM intergrity with respect to part versions and engineering changes.

Since there are no replies, I am closing this issue

  • Prevent Inforecord price update in Contract

Hi,  We have a requirement to prevent inforecord price update when creating a contract.  Currently the system automatically populates the price when a contract is created.
We basically want no price to be pulled from the inforecord even if there is a price maintained in Inforecord purchasing org. data.  There are posts on how to prevent inforecord price update in PO but I couldnt find one for contracts.
Appreciate any help from SAP Gurus....!!!
    Thanks

    Hi Paddy,
if I well get you there is 2 issues.
One is the update of the PIR (info rec) when your create the contract.
for this you should look into contract item details there should be a flag info rec update to remove (same in PO)
Second is the only use of contract for pricing.
One easy way would be to set the standard SAP msg :
06-042 Target value of contract & exceeded by & &
with E for error so that no PO is aloowed if contract exist. Another way would be to review your pricing procedure. Have the automatic price cond. type reviewed with a new acc seq that would not take into account the PIR (info rec).
    Hope this helps!
    cheers

  • How come my local variable is not updating it's value with respect to what's happening in the while loop?

    Hello,
I am trying to extract data out of a while loop as my declarations update with respect to the iteration number. I have attempted to use both local variables and shift registers, but with no luck.
I have also done the following example: http://www.ni.com/white-paper/7585/en and it works like a charm.
I attached the PNG file with local variable declaration circled in red. Will attach a VI in the next respnose.

    OK, looking at the code...
Can you explain what it is supposed to do? What's the purpose of the value property node read which only seems to update an indicator.
The inner while loop should proably be a FOR loop, because the number of iterations is known before the loop starts.
Your use of formula nodes seems overly complicated.

  • Not able to view actual Price updated 'Value' in Change Tracker

I was able to get my Change tracker to work and it is functioning. (SRM 5.0 MDM5.5 )... Configured Portal iViews for change tracker.
If I change a description I can see it in the change tracker application. But if I try and track a Price change it only shows me a date-time  and user as to I when the price was changed it doesnu2019t show me the actual value changed, for my audit purposes.
On the portal the change tracker "Field" dropdown shows -> Price Updated. this is what is tracking any change of price.
In MDM Console-> Admin->Change Tracker I am tracking under Catalog Items: Price information, Price Updated, Special search terms, long description.
When I look at the Data manager in the Record Detail, I see  u2018Price Updatedu2019 and it only has a Date and time stamp. In this same Record Detail,  I see the field Price Information that contains :Lower bound, Purchasing Info record ID, Purchasing Organization, Amount and Currency.  Amount-> contains the actual price value. This is what i want to see in the portal iView as Old value and New value....this is what I am unable to view? theres one small step i am not doing...
I am trying to track the actual change in the filed u2018Amountu2019u2026 I have tried to search for it in the Portal iView fields (table, record contains, fields, record)
    cheers
    alex

    Hi Alex,
I would not here comment on change Tracking functionality but can you suggest another workaround to achieve this requirement. If it fits in your requirement you can go ahead with it.
In MDM, Create another field in Main table say Initial Price and for already existing field Amount replace its name with Updated Price in Qualified table Price.
now after this you will see that your by default Updated Price has values as it was your Amount field earlier and Initial Price field as empty. Now for next time, if any record comes using Import Manager then MDM workflow should trigger at Record Import.
    This workflow contains following steps.
    Start(Checkout)>Assign>Stop(CheckIn)
Assign step should have below expression and assignment:
    Price Information.Updated Price
Where I am assuming Price Information is the field in main table which is look up to this qualified table Price.
So in this way you can maintain both existing and updated values of Price and cant then show in your Catalog.
suppose you have already existing record say 1 which has value of Amount as 20.
So that means you have Updated Price as 20 and Initial Price as empty(Null)
Now when same record 1 updates with new Amount say 40, it triggers this workflow on record import which will then assign value of existing updated Price 20 to Initial Field after that Updated Price will update by 40.
Note: This Assignment works well only if your main table record has this Qualified table link as single record. If your main table record contains more than one qualified links then this Assignment would not work fine. So use only if it fits.

  • Price Update on new purchase order in ME21N

We are creating new purchase orders for year 2011 and wanted to do mass update of price in the conditions tab.  It works only when we select each line item.  But if we select all and then hit price update with choice 'B', only the first line is being changed with the new price.   Is there any inconsistency in updating the price - we are copying a previous year's purchase order to create a new PO.  Thank you for your help.

    Hi Chandra,
I think what you are looking for is the functionality called "Automatic document adjustment". Please take a look at [http://help.sap.com/erp2005_ehp_02/helpdata/en/75/ee1fa755c811d189900000e8322d00/frameset.htm]. There select Conditions ... -> Automatic Document Adjustment.

  • Adopt net price from contract  if po created with referance to contract

    Hi expertise,
Can any body so kind to find a way for the below requirement of my client:
When PO is created with reference to contract, the net price of PO should be adopted from the contract & user should not allowed to change the net price of that PO (but allowed to change the quantity).
Your earlier answer should be highly appreciated.
    Regards,
    Sp sahu

    Hi,
You should make use of two very helpful options in SAP.
They are known as the EVO parameter and the EFB parameter. These control what the user can do when generating .
You configure a combination of flags on each parameter and so control things like "can prices be changed", can the user ONLY create by referencing a document (contract or req etc.)
They are configured in the following menu path on SPRO
Materials management > Purchasing > Environment data > define default values for buyers.
This is the EVO parameter it is well worth reading the help text on the config for this. It explains that you have to then add a parameter (EVO) to the userid (in the normal way that they maintain their userid , or via the config).
The EVO parametr is quite useful but the EFB parameter is even better, this conttrols what the user can do.
The menu path  for the EFB is
Materials management > Purchasing > Authorisation management > Define function authorisations for buyers.
This is the one that will help with your problem. It works like the EVO parameter and so you add the EVO parameter to the userid and give it the code that relates to one that you have configured (careful the system is case sensitive for these codes, so use upper case or numbers for the codes when you configure them)
In the EFB config switch on or off the flags that you want (in your case switch OFF the enter conditions and it may help to use an appropriate field selection reference key that makes the fields display only.
Then when you allocate this parameter to the userid the settings will apply.
try them out in your play client, they are VERY useful, especially the EFB parameter.

  • Problem with Purchase Contract Item Price - 2lis_02_itm

    Hello !
I used 2lis_02_itm extractor in order to extract the Purchase contracts (transaction me33k in R/3) with Item Prices. The problem is that the extractor takes the price
from ekpo table but the Contract item prices exist in konp table and its very complicate to calculate the net price.
    Somebody know the solution ?
    Thanks In advance,
    MM. michal

    Thanks for your answer.
I found out that all the subtotal1-6 are empty in my extractor.
If you interest I found in R3 transaction  ME3P
That update the prices from konp in  EKPO and all my problems solved.
    Again thanks , michal

  • Contract Release Value is not updated with Confirmation or Invoice value

The release value for a contract in SRM EBP shows the value of purchase orders created using that contract.  It does not take into account confirmation and/or invoice values.
For example I create a PO for 10 items at £100/each using Contract ABC.  The total value of the PO is £1000 and the release value contract ABC would be £1000.  If I then only confirm and invoice 5 items (£500) for the PO, the release value of contract ABC stays at £1000 even though I would expect it to update to £500
Therefore the release value of the contract could be incorrectly overstated if purchase orders are created against the contract but not actually invoiced/confirmed for their total value.
Please could you confirm the correct functionality and how I could find out the the true invoice value of purchases made using a contract?
