PO release based on CUMULATIVE VALUE

Hi Experts,
I have a scenario to map. Client requirement is to have a release strategy based on the CUMULATIVE VALUE of the Purchase Orders.
CUMULATIVE VALUE would mean accumulation of PO value till current PO & not the individual PO value.
Based on CUMULATIVE VALUE u2013 3 executives are required to release i.e Manger (<1 million), Manager + General Manager (> 1 & < 10 Million) & Manager + General Manager + VP (> 10 Million)
Please advise any possible solution for the same. Thanks.

Hi,
I guess you should dig deeper in the business need.
What is the need or the usage of releasing a lot(bunch) of PO's. Releasing of PO's are done to keep a control on the PO's being raised by users to a particular vendor or their capacity(limit).
If a bunch of PO's is sent for release, do you think it will be serving the purpose. I think the business requirement s well as usage should be looked into once again.

I have found differences in: EKPO (PO Items) and EKAB (Release Orders) tables vs. Cumulative Target Contract value.
The total amount in EKPO net values is grather than Cumulative Target Value in Contract, in EKAB net values as well.
Do you know the considerations that the system are taking?....because the Cumulative value must not be exceeded

I have found the issue, the delivery complete indicator restore the Cumulative Amount in Value Contracts (Quantity = 0). After that, a new PO could be created with Agreement link limited for the amount restored.
So the all PO generated related with the contract could exceed the Cumulative Amount established in contract
Thatu2019s a problem because All PO could be received even though the delivery complete was activated
This behavior is only for Value Contracts

User wants to get the cumulative values based on his input.

I am working one FI Report; the out put values are Cumulative values for Current, Previous years. I developed and it fetches the data last 3 years Cumulative years data without any input FYMonth based on SAPexits and varible offsets. But user wants to put Fiscal year Month as input. So he wants get the cumulative values based on his input. For example, If his input SEP'2005(062005), Then Query gives the Output Cumulative Value (I.e., Sum of Total values of Form APR'2005 to SEP'2005)
Please provide the solution

Mannev,
You can try doing this.
1. If the user input is fiscal period(2005006) , you can create a customer exit variable which will take the user value (i_step =2), and change the variable value to 20005001. (this is a simple code where tye last 2 digits are replaced by 01).
if the user is entering calmonth, you can use FM - DATE_TO_PERIOD_CONVERT, to convert the month to fiscal period.
2. You can create a rkf with restrictions on time char based on the customer exit variable and the user entered variable.

Calculated Key-Figure based on Cumulated Key-Figure

Hi BW-Community,
I have problems defining a ckf based on a key-figure wich are marked as cumulated. I know this topic was discussed before
but I did not find a acceptable solution yet.
Here is my example (as it should be)
*** KF1     KF2   CKF3 (KF1 % KF2)
2            2           100%
4            2           200%
6            2           300%
And this is the Output from BW
*** KF1    KF2   CKF3 (KF1 % KF2)
2            2           100%
4            2           100%
6            2           100%
BW uses the not cumulated keyfigure-value instead of the cumulated value,
I tried several things:
1.) Use the class CL_RSR_WWW_MODIFY_TAB and redefine the method data_cell to do a manual calculation on the results. This works but
it is very inflexible and restricted on WEb Template also the Excel Integration do not work properly.
2.) Mark the CKF also as cumulated but this don't work either.
My customer uses such calculation on almost every Query and Report so I need a practicable solution.
I think the best way to solve this is in the staginf prozess, but i did not find a solution yet.
Does anybody know a workaround, solution? We will put to NW2004s soon is there any chance that this will work
in this release?

I create a new CKF without percentage funktion but it didn't work. Same result as described in the first post.
Even if i put only KF1 in a new CKF (e.g.CKF2 =KF1) the uncumuated value is shouwm
Example:

@ Structure
I know that using structure is possible. But we cannot use structures, because we have a dynamic amount of characteristic-values (e.g. 0calday)

The InfoCube contains non-cumulative values

Hi,
While creating multicube for inventory on two cubes its askin the below "The InfoCube contains non-cumulative values. A validity table is created for these non-cumulative values, in which the time interval is stored, for which the non-cumulative values are valid.
The validity table automatically contains the "most detailed" of the selected time characteristics (if such a one does not exist, it must be defined by the user, meaning transfered into the InfoCube)", what is that and how to solve this,

Your multi cube is probably based on the infociune 0IC_C03 containing non cumulative key figures taht's why you get this message.
You generaly don't have to maintain validity area unless you are in a special configuration (for exemple loading data from two source systems).

Issue with Cumulative Value in BW Query

Here am trying to calculate a percentage over the two key figures which has the cumulative check in Calculation
but in result the percentage is appearing with non-cumulative values though am selecting the cumulative kf in formula.
find below the example :
C-OQTY --> Cumulative Ord Qty -- This is based on OQTY wherein the properties under Calculation i haved the Cumulated
C-TOQTY-->Cumulative Total Ord Qty --This is based on TOQTY wherein the properties under Calculation i haved the Cumulated
OQTY--> Order Qty
TOQTY--> Total Order Qty
C-OQTY/C-TOQTY *100
Calendar Day     C-OQTY     C-TOQTY OQTY      TOQTY       %

As you all can see that the % is showing the value as OQTY/TOQTY*100 Instead of C-OQTY/C-TOQTY *100

Non cumulative with non cumulative value change

hi,
can any one tell the concept of non cumulative with non cumulative value change with an example with numbers,i am bit confused .
like we have for non *** inflow and outflow- stocks inflow and outflow so non *** is based on inflow and inflow.

If I under stand your question correctly you wish to have an example of where non cumulative values are used and you have given the value of stock? If so here is an example with figures
So you would do an initial load loading the opening balances of Stock.
Say material number 12345 = 100 units
After that, only movements will be posted so Stock will either increase or decrease depending on what image is posted via the change log.
So there will be a purchase of material 12345 for 50 units so now the balance of material is 150.
But then you could use or sell 70 units of material 12345 so you stock value would be 80 units
I hope this makes sense and this is an example that you are after if not please let me know and I'm happy to help

We have a requirement to use a formula based onthe cumulation of Keyfigures in the report.
The scenario is like this
KF1 KF2    ***(KF1) ***(KF2)     Fornula1 = ***(KF1) / *** (KF2)

while we can display cumlative values of KF1 and KF2 in reports by using the calculation tick the cumulative valuses cannot be used in formula

As you now know that cumulated Kfs cannot used in a formula, why don u try creating cumulated Kfs using some Time chracteristics?
Like this you can hard code the cumulation.
You can use SAp exit variables on Time characteristics to keep these values dynamic.

if I get you right you want to give the customer the rebate when he reaches the sales volume of 25,000.
Please use the scales (F2)
Scales type "A" (from-scale) is probably standard, so the rule is
from scale value: 25,000 Amount 3%
If you want to give the customer the rebate when he reaches the sales volume of 25,000 and then stop
Go to condition details (F6), change the scale type to B (To-scale), go to scales again and and fill the scales table as follows:
to scale value: 24,999 Amount: 0
to scale value: 25,000 Amount :3%

Cumulative Value Calculation

Dear Experts,
I extracted data with the standard datasource 0CO_OM_OPA_1. Cost from this datasource is costs by month. However, I need to have another key figure for cumulative cost.
1) How can I get cumulative values through the transformation? (I need to display data on Xcelsius, and I am not sure this cumulative value can be achieved in the report)
2) I heard that we can calculate the cumulative value by Non Cumulative Key Figure. However, I don't know how it works. I try to create Non Cumulative Key Figure based on 0AMOUNT from the datasource, but it requires me to add 0CALDAY into my infocube. (The finest level in time dimension in my infocube is 0CALMONTH) Is it true that I can use Non Cumulative value to calculate cumulative value. If yes, how can I do that?

Hi.
Use a bex query to do the cumulative calculation of the monthly values. Hook that query up to a universe and retrieve it in Xcelsius.
You can set the key figure property to "cumulative" in the query designer. That should get over to the BO Universe... if not, then you can cumulate it either straight in Xcelsius (you have to know the structure anyway, in order to build the graphs...) or use a web-i report.

We have executed the material ledger acutal cost WIP Transaction Code -- COMLWIPDISP. This t.code is reflecting the WIP Cumulative value which is inclusion of WIP Price difference. Cany anybody let me know how this value is calculating and in which t.code. In which table or function module we can see the WIP price difference value and cumulative value.

The below example will help you to understand your query:
SFG product standard cost is 90 ( as per the BOM materials).
Production/Process order is created, released and Raw material are issued to this Production/Process order. The status of this Order is not yet changed to TECO/CNF due to there are still some more operations has to be carriedout. So assume at this stage total cost is 100.
When you run your month activities like WIP/Variance/Settlement Calculation and also CKMLCP (Actual Costing Run).
After the month end activities, if you execute COMLWIPDISP, system will display Cummulative WIP value as 100 and difference 10.

POC with Cumulative values linked to Milestones

Our structure is like
Project Defection
WBS
Milestones & We manually confirm the milestones. basing on (percentage of completion and invoice percentage)
The requirement is like; whatever the % we enter in the milestone screen u201Cpercentage of completionu201D it should be captured in WBS POC field (with cumulative values)
Pl. advises do we have any std.process or we need to go for any development.

logically these are different values and have different usage - if I have a milestone of 40% completed it does not mean that 40% of work is complete - hence I would have thought that SAP have rightly not provided any standard provision for this
you could however achieve this by development if you still require to use this

Getting a percentage on cumulative values in Bex Query

We have a Bex Query where we have 4 columns. For the actual and projected attendence, I'm displaying cumulative values and a percentage. I want the percentage to be based on the cumulative values, but it's giving it to me based on the actual values (what's coming in, not what's being displayed). How do I get it to do the calculation on the displayed values?

The OLAp processor in BI cannot take cumulated values - that is - once you cumulate your values - the cumulated values cannot be used further in BeX formulae - even if you use them the actual values will be used.

Can anyone write me how to use 0FYTCFP variable to design query with value of current period and cumulated values of previous periods. I tried to use this variable with 0P_FPER to which I manually enter current period, but BEx returns a message "The variable 0FYTCFP couldn't be repalced"

Rules for applying discounts based on dynamic values

Hi there!
IÂ´m studying the discount features offered by the weblogic portal and I was puzzled by a limitation on the platform that I could not solve. If I have two discounts that could be applied in an item and I want to decide between them based on runtime values (discount value, order total price, etc...) how can I do that ? And if they are cumulative discounts that could be applied in a single product in my shopping cart and are of the same type (item discount or order discount or freight discount), can I do that ? I could not see a way of doing that without beeing intrusive(reimplementing internal classes) or doing it externally creating my own custom classes... Does anyone see a way of doing that ? (IÂ´m using WLP 8.1 SP 3)

and values in a tableYou can use jQuery to hide a tab. So, you create a tab in Apex, but hide it when necessary when running the page. Something like:
