Poll service is unavailable

Hi,
I wanted to create Poll using webcenter portal using Poll service .For that I have followed following steps in development environment :
1-In the application Navigation right click the connection Folder
2-Select new connection and select Database from the context menu.
3-Specify WebCenter for the connection name.
4-Connection Type. Oracle(JDBC)
5-Username=the username specified during the RCU.
6-Password: Password for the webcenter schema
7-Driver: thin
8-Host Name: The hostname of the database server where the WebCenter schema has been created
9-SID: service name for the database.
10-And done the connection successfully.
Then Run the project.
Successfully loged with Admin user.
But when I clicked on service tab and select Poll : message is displayed that service is unavailable .
Please do the needful to guide me how to make this poll service availed to create the Poll.

I also hit this problem. Its resolved by selecting 'Auto generate and synchronize weblogic-jdbc.xml' option from 'Application Properties > Deployment'

Unable to start Web Analysis .Service Temporarily Unavailable

Hi,
I am using the following URL to access Web Analysis http://testdb.xxx.xxx.xx:19000/WebAnalysis/WebAnalysis.jsp. But it throws up the following error -
"*Service Temporarily Unavailable, the server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems. Please try again later.*"
FYI
1. I'm using EPM 11.1.1.3 on Linux Server (Tikanga)
2. Planning, Shared Services, Workspace, Essbase etc. are working fine. The problem is only with Web Analysis. However, even Web Analysis was working fine in the not-so-distant past.
I have tried stopping and starting the Web Analysis service but that doesn't seem to help.
Any ideas would be appreciated.

Required application module analyzer.reportview is not configured. Please contact your administrator.
Web Analysis was working just fine until recently. Now the problem is only with WA. Everything else is working as it should If nothing gets Web Analysis up and running again, is there a way I can retrieve my saved report files? I can view these files from Workspace -> Explore -> Reports folder.

SharePoint Provider Hosted App (401) Unauthorized Microsoft.SharePoint.SPException: The Azure Access Control service is unavailable

I'm attempting to get a SharePoint 2013 Provider Hosted Application working in a brand new SharePoint environment. I've created snapshots of both my dev and the sharepoint environments along the way and have meticulously documented every step of the
way. I've followed these instructions (among many other resources found along this journey) :

Upon package and publish of my application to SharePoint, I get a 401 Unauthorized error. I use Fiddler to obtain the SPErrorCorrelationID to ultimately obtain the following ULS Viewer Output. Please explain how to fix if you're able.
Please Note: I was under the impression that a Provider Hosted Application does not use the Azure Access Control service, so I'm confused as to why my system is attempting to make this connection?
Also Note: I've used a self signed and godday obtained certificate to successfully f5 debug my basic web.title (out of the visual studio 2012 box) sharepoint provider hosted application... so I know my certs are good.

Yes, actually - I was able to resolve it.
However I don't know how, unfortunately. I suspect it was because I needed to have the names of the certificates, defined during the certificate registration (to sharepoint) process, different.
I have a complete document that shows step by step instructions on the exact process I took to complete the provider hosted application creation, deployment and publishing. It was a daunting task, but I finished it successfully.
If there's a way to send private message on this forum, please do so and I'll respond with a way to obtain my document.
NOTE: I'm not all impressed with the way this forum works. This is supposed to be a Microsoft resource and I'll be damned if I ever get a response to highly technical questions. Completely lame. Boooooo Microsoft.

The error message 503 Service unavailable Application stopped! is displayed.
Description:The server is currently unable to handle the request due to a temporary overloading or maintenance of the server. The implication is that this is a temporary condition which will be alleviated after some delay. If known, the length of the delay MAY be indicated in a Retry-After header. If no Retry-After is given, the client SHOULD handle the response as it would for a 500 response.
Note: The existence of the 503 status code does not imply that a server must use it when becoming overloaded. Some servers may wish to simply refuse the connection.
Possible Tips: Because of J2EE application com.sap.aii.af.ms.app not active
u2022 Try to (re)start the application using the Visual Administrator Choose Server --> Services --> Deploy --> View on Application or restart the J2EE engine
u2022 The problem is that not all J2EE services can be started by the J2EE. i.e Start the Visual Administrator and select Server->Services->Deploy in the tree on the left. On the right-hand side, choose the Runtime tab page. You see a tree in the right window with all applications if you select the APPLICATION radio button. Check if they are running, otherwise choose Start. Usually the J2EE engine starts all services automatically.

I don’t think there are many “must have” features in PSE13 especially if you are doing most of your editing non-destructively in Lightroom and only going to the external editor occasionally.

I am trying to use the worklist component from the webcenter catalog. I have setup a connection and specified the URL for the worklist. But after running the page, i get a message displayed in the page saying The Worklist service is unavailable

Hi fellow Granite Stater - have you looked at Activity monitor to see what's using so much CPU and causing the fan to run so loudly? You might also want to reset the PRAM to see if that will help your icons stick.
Have you emptied Safari's caches? You can try resetting it as well.
Does using Firefox produce the same fan problems?
I suggest you back up all your data to an external and then run DiskWarrior or TechToolPro if you have either, or run the Apple Hardware test from your install disk.
It might be a good idea to check things using Disk Utility:
1. Insert the Mac OS X Install disc that came with your computer, then restart the computer while holding the C key.
2. When your computer finishes starting up from the disc, choose Disk Utility from the Installer menu. (In Mac OS X 10.4 or later, you must select your language first.)
Important: Do not click Continue in the first screen of the Installer. If you do, you must restart from the disc again to access Disk Utility.
3. Click the First Aid tab.
4. Click the disclosure triangle to the left of the hard drive icon to display the names of your hard disk volumes and partitions.
5. Select your Mac OS X volume.
6. Click Repair. Disk Utility checks and repairs the disk.
Reboot and repair permissions from your hard drive.

Hello, I'm using N8. I'm trying to update my Nokia Belle using my computer but still cannot. I'm using Nokia Suite 3.3.89. When I try to update, the message is 'Service is unavailable'. May I know why this happen...?

Thank you for your post and welcome to the forums!
Please check that you don't have an antivirus/firewall software blocking any connections from and to Nokia Suite. If possible, allow Nokia suite to communicate freely through your firewall.
You can also update your phone over WLAN by dialling *#0000# on your device and selecting Software update. Also, you could download and install the latest Nokia Suite beta and give it a try.
If the problem persists, visit the nearest Nokia Care Point and ask them to update the phone for you.

I noticed since upgrading to 10.6 that some emails took a long time to go through on my mail server. Looking at the logs it looks as if a lot of mails are being rejected on the first try with a ...

The next attempt to deliver seems to succeed.
Any suggestions where to look at what is going wrong? I have log level set to debug but there is no extra info so I am unsure which service is unavailable.

DBAdapter Polling service timing out.

I have created a composite application which is polling data (sync operation for in order delivery) from a table then making an asynchronous call to another webservice. The other async service can take upto 5 minutes based on the long running BPEL process and some retries.
The first service polls the records without any issue and call the asyn service, the BPEL process then has a receive activity to receive the callback from async service.
Even though the receive activity is still waiting the dbadapter polling activity is timing out. It then goes on to create another instance for the same record. The next instance again times out and it ends in a loop kind of scenario.
To fix this issue I need some setting for the dbadapter not to time out. Instead it should wait till the receive activity gets the call back. Can you please let me know what settings needs to be changed and where?

For the async service the property is already set to "async.persist". I have also tried both required and requiresNew for bpel.config.transaction property.
The problem is that the dbadapter polling service is timing out.
Note that the polling dbadapter is doing a logical delete. N for not yet processed, R for reserved and finallly Y for processed. On the first instance it picks the record and marks it as 'R'. When timeout occurs it rolls back the transaction so it's marked as N again. Next instance picks up the record again while in the first instance the receive (for async) activity is still waiting.

LMS3.2 - Service Temporarily Unavailable

Hi there
Our Windows Cisco Works Server ran out of disk space, I freed up some space and rebooted the server. After I restarted the server I now get the following message when trying to use a web browser to connect -
Service Temporarily Unavailable
The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems. Please try again later.
Eventualy I then just get "page cannot be displayed"
I have tried restarting the services using -
net stop crmdmgtd
net start crmdmgtd
Any help on how to start troubleshooting this would be gratefully recieved.

The following event is logged when the TomCat service stops -
"The Java Virtual Machine has exited with a code of 0, the service is being stopped."
There is also the following errror straight after the TomCat service starts up -
" The Apache service named reported the following error: >>> [Mon Feb 22 10:32:20 2010] [warn] The Alias directive in C:/Program Files/CSCOpx/MDC/Apache/conf/cmf-app.conf at line 8 will probably never match because it overlaps an earlier Alias. ."
I have attached hs_errr* files however these are date stamped 2009 so not sure if they are relevant.
