Popup to choose follow-on type of document

Hi friends,
When creating follow on bid invitation, my client wants a popup to be able to choose himself the type of follow-on bid to be created, instead of the type of document SRM assigns.
I´ve found where to do this (an enhancement at the end of LBBP_BID_INVFAE include).
What I need is the "how"...because the commonly used popups don´t work on ITS (by the way, we have ITS just temporary, we're going to implement Enterprise Portal).
Any idea?

While using a drop-down menu i.e. File, edit, image, or even when saving as and choosing the file type; the list appears and I am able to highlight what i want but cannot click on anything.

This is becoming incredibly frustrating. It happens at random time and a restart of the computer is all that helps, then with out any notice it starts to do this again. Mac Book Pro i7 2.2 16 GB 1333 Ram, (2) 450GB SSD both internal to machine. At this point I am losing file because I am unable to save in the file type I need. Does anyone out there know how to solve this issue?

I haven't been unify photoshop much in the past month, but I did try your suggestion and it seemed to work for a while. Today when i went to save a document the same thing happened: click on file>save at this point I can not click on save even though it is highlighted. Tryed to use command s that brings up the save dialogue box, but when I try to change file type I again cannot select it from the drop down menu.

How to choose diffetent PO types in R/3 from a SC in Classic Scenario

Hello everyone,
I am working with SRM 5.0 in a classic scenario and I have a problem. I create a SC, then it is sent to sourcing cockpit where I assign it a vendor to create a PO, but I can't choose what kind of PO I want to create.
In PPOMA_BB, the user has at least 2 different PO's in attribute BSA and attribute DP_PROC_TY. When I create a PO from a Bid invitation I can choose this kind of POs.
Do you know how to choose different POs type from SC??

Hi,
For backend products,In standard you can not choose what PO you want. By default the backend document type 'EC' is chosen. In number ranges for SC followon documents the interval number 'PO' would correspond to backend EC document external interval number. This is the standard behaviour though you might have maintained BSA attribute with other values in addition to EC.
For local products you can choose the PO transaction type. After youclick on create purchase order, in the next screen you will get an option choose your transaction type, provided you have maintained these in PPOMA_BBP for BSA attribute.

SharePoint 2013 custom search Result Type for "Documents" not showing up as option

I'm trying to create a custom search Result Type called "Documents" that will filter to MS Office filetypes and PDF's.
However, when I perform a search, although many of these types of files show up in the results, I don't have "Documents" as a Result Type option.
Here are the steps I'm following:
From my Enterprise Search Center subsite: Site Settings > Manage Result Types.
New Result Type.
Name: Documents
Source: Documents (System) - this out-of-the-box Result Source appears to cover the filetypes I need.
Types of content: I've tried leaving it blank (to match all content) and specifically picking the types I want.
What should these results look like? Office Document Item.
Check Optimize for frequent use.
Save.
I then go back to my search center and search for a common keyword. Many in-scope file show up in the search results. However, under Result Type, I don't see "Documents," even if I click "SHOW MORE."
Please advise.

@Mikael As you say, to display the exact results when we click a result source, we should implement logic code to check whether item should be displayed. I have followed steps nearly the same as the topic owner but I saw nothing different between Everything
and my custom Result Type.
Here are the steps I'm following:
Create a custom result type, named Job, and specify a custom display template for it.
Set its condition to filter list items that have JobName site column ( JobName is site column's managed property) equal of any "IT" or "Doctor".
I search for "Perter", it returns 5 items with Everything. I expect that it should return 3 items since only those items contain JobName site column.
Search is fun but rather headache sometimes, give me advise please :)

Type of document (nif, passport) in BADI

I need to know how to obtain the value of this structure (type of document-nif, passport etc) from infotype 2 in a badi. The badi takes infotypes fields but this one is an structure (in theory I can not use it) and I need it to know if the field entered is a NIF or a passport or other type of available document, that´s why I need it.
Do you know how to do it ? I haved tried to use the field used in the infotype but it has no matchcode associated. The structure has the values fixed and that values are the ones I want to use in the badi.

When i try to view the print preview for a perticular doc type, system is giving the error as "No archive information found for object type and document type"

    No information was found about optical archiving. This may be due to
    either of the following reasons:
    1. No valid archiving parameters were passed
    2. Your system is not configured for optical archiving

Hello,
You are trying to Print & also archive by selecting the option Print & Archive.
You have to do archivelink configurations and then create document type and assign to the object type with content repository with archivelink table.
If you want to archive the spool or output then you have to use object type as DRAW. If you are archiving invoice document or letters or so on then you have to know the object type/Business object of the transaction.
Please note that for archivelink configuration, attachment will be either stored in archive server or in SAP database table based on business requirement.
Hope this will give you some understanding on archiving area.

Getting message: Cannot complete your request because it's not the right type of document

I am taking a CS6 Photoshop class, I downloaded the data files from cengagebrain.com, my task in the book is to click File on the Menu bar, then click Open, then navigate to the drive and folder where you store you Data Files. When I click the corresponding file (PS 1-1.psd), I get the following error message: Cannot complete your request because it's not the right type of document.
Can anyone help please?

Are you sure the file has the correct suffix?
It might have been damaged in downloading, unstuffing, copying …, so if you are certain that the site is legit you may want to try re-downloading the file.

Trying to download HSBHSL in CS4..."wrong type of document"

I have done a search on line and on this forum and can't seem to find a solution to this.
I have Vista and have gone here http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp? ftpID=4050 and downloaded the zip folders containing the HSBHSL plug in.
I download the 64 bit and have the HSBHSL.8BF on my desktop. I double click it, CS4 opens and I get the following message:
"Could not complete your request as it is not the right type of document."
I have doubled checked and have correctly downloaded the plug in for Windows, the 64 bit version.
Just wondering if anyone here has encountered this problem or can suggest a possible fix.

You know you're off to a bad start when you keep replying to your own thread!
The file HSBHSL file is sitting here: Plug-ins/fiilters
It is sitting with Average, Channel Port, Clouds, Colour Halftone etc etc, directly underneath "Lighting Styles"
It says it is an 8BF file, 20kb.
But when I open CS4 (please not again I am NOT clicking to open the HSBHSL file, I am dragging in into the adobe folder) this blasted Owl error keeps popping up.
Again, is there anyone who has encountered this?

Login popup when trying to view the KM documents

Hello Everybody,
We have uploaded some of the Word documents on KM in portal and created links in the KM fo rthe same documents.
Now, we have creted KM link iview on portal to display these links on the screen.
The purpose of above to provide the help documents for perticular application on portal.
Issue is:
when we login to portal using HTTPs and access the help documents, first it gives the popup to either open or save the document.
If user clicks on Open, then it shows the login popup for the portal. If i provide login details and click ok then it opens the document.
If i don't provide the details and simply click on cancel then also it opens the document.
From the network team, i came to know why this login pop up is comnig.
There is something called WebDAV protocol which is supported in KM in portal.
So, when we open the document from the portal, microsoft office document tries to connect to the system to check whether i have permissions to edit this document locally or not. So, even though i cancel it, i allows me to view the document.
Now concern is, we are going to present these documents to the users just for view purpose and login pop up should not come.
Do we have any settings or configuration on the portal from where we can ignore and document should nto check for the permissions to edit locally? If there is some configuration and if we can disable it then i would think document will not ask for the login pop up.
If somebody come across such scenario then please help me to resolve this issue.

I am not sure if the following advice is fixing your issue but it is worth to check: In the section "Activities" in the following link to
[Documentation |http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70ehp1/helpdata/en/7d/236cfa17034a37a439dc392ec59eb0/frameset.htm] there is guidance what entries in the URL Generator Service should be replaced. This conversion also suppresses the basic authentication messages when opening MS Office documents.
In standard deliveries these entries are already replaced like described, only for portals that are running since a long time and were upgraded step by step, the replacement might still be needed.

File Download (Type: Firefox Document) message box appears every time I send an e-mail on Outlook

I use Outlook as my email service. When in Outlook, almost every time I send an email or delete an email I get a popup box Titled "File Download". It says "DO you want to open or save this file?" "NAME'' Is a long string of alpha-numeric characters such as "{53BDCB52-F771-4692-B039-55C62COD6390}.html". Then "Type: Firefox Document, 6.66kB", Then "From: C:\Users\Neil\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows.....", Then "Open" "Save" "Cancel". There is a box with a check mark "Always ask before opening this type of file".
Question---How do I stop this box from appearing?

That means you are looking at the form online with a browser that uses its own (incompatible) PDF viewer, not the Adobe Reader plugin.
Either
download the form to your local disk and fill it from there
