Excise Invoices are shown as Reversed - J1IP

Dear Friends,
Tcode: J1IP -The status of few Excise Invoices are shown as Reversed, but when checked the table display J_1IEXCHDR against CEIV ETT, these excise invoices are not listed and also checked the document flow which shows these excise invoices active.
This Reversed status is for only few Excise Invoices and for the remaining Iam able to take the printoutout. Can somebody let me know what might be the reason?
Thanks
Isaac

I have tested for an excise document which has been cancelled.  In the said table, the status of DLFC document is R whereas for CEIV, it is showing P.
May be again go to the same table, key in the excice invoice without maintaining any other datas like DLFC or CEIV and execute.  In normal circumstances, system should generate both DLFC and CEIV documents here.
Still if you have the same problem, go to IMG Logistics-General --> Tax on Goods Movements --> India --> Specify G/L Accounts per Excise Transaction.  There check whether the respective G/L Account is maintained.
thanks

  • Multiple excise invoices are generated

Multiple excise invoices are generated from one billing document using transuction code J1iin. Suppose there is a billing document whose number is 123456, now when I am using t-code j1iin to create excise invoice i am able to create two excise invoices from the same billing document.
Please help me to sort out this issue...

    Hi,
I dont think it makes sense to have 2 excise invoices for 1 GR.  Can you please explain the scenario ?
As per std. SAP you can capture multiple excise invoices against multiple GRs only.
    Thanks & Regards,

  • Depot Sales-Excise values are not flowing from J1iJ to VF01

    Hi Gurus,
In Depot Sales: while doing excise invoive from T-code J1iJ Go to delivery -RG23D selection select the delivery number XXXXX Excise Group 51 and series Group: 50 ENTER - select the line item and click on F6 and here we have to click on excise invoice Button for capturing the Input excise duties for taking the reference. And the excise values are shown here correctly.
Issue: In VF01- when we are raising the commercial invoice , the duty values are not flowing from the J1IJ transaction. Instead the values are showing Zero for all the three condition types namely JEXP, JECS and JHCS. We have used the Pricing Procedure ZINDEP and 356 routine.
Inputs on this how to solve will be highly appreciated.. as we are in critical stage.
What are the checks to be ensured to Get the values flow from J1IJ to VF01.
Scenario: STO from Mfrg Plant to Depot and Depot sales to customer.
Me21N-Me29N-VL10B-VL02N-VF01-J1IIn-MIGO-(STO process completes)-VA01-VL01N-J1IJ-VF01(duty values should flow from the J1IJ referenced Excise Invoice) Correct me if I am wrong.
Any user exits, Notes please let me know. I could not find any. I have gone through the forum threads, which speaks about 356 routine, J1ID- checks etc.
    Thanks&Regards
    Sreekanth:

    Hi!
Am sure you would have captured the Excise at Depot with J1IG.
Also, have you saved the billing document to check the duties?
Thirdly, after save, again open the billing doc and go to Header-Conditions then Save. This part does not seems logical, but i am sharing my practical experience.
Please check condition records if any.

  • Capturing Excise Invoice (EI) at depot

    Hi gurus
I am facing an issue while capturing Excise Invoice (EI) at depot.
If non-batch material and batch material are combined into one material document which is generated after post goods issue (PGI) to create EI, two separate Excise Invoices are getting generated automatically.
But while capturing Excise Invoice for both materials at depot, I am NOT able to capture in T-code J1IG by Goods receipt material documents.
How to handle such case? Could you give us some suggestion?
    With Regards
    baalakrushnan.da

    Hi Ashok,
After MB1C, when we are trying to execute J1IG with the material document number and then click "Details" button, the new screen asks for internal document number. We click on "More Documents" and manually enter the excise values along with excise invoice details and save.
This reflects the values in the RG23D and displays in J1IDEPOTSTOCK1 report also.
But when we try to sell from the Depot and create J1IJ, the uploaded invoice is not getting displayed when we are trying to select it to pass excise value.
How can this invoice be selected in J1IJ, if we follow this route.
Is this the correct process or I am making some mistake in the J1IG step.

    Debarshi

  • Number Range (series) for Billing Document (F2) and Excise Invoice

    Hi All,
I want to know how the number ranges / number series is defined for billing documents (F2) and excise invoice, for India business scenario.
In India, the excise invoice is given to the customer so that he can the excise duty/ cenvat. This invoice acts as the Tax invoice (having all pricing elements apart from excise duty) against which customer outstanding is considered. That is, the payment due will be tracked against this Tax (excise) invoice.
But in SAP, the accounts posting is done (customer a/c debited) when we creaate and post the billing document (type F2). Hence, the outstanding amount is tracked against the billing document created. This billing doc/invoice will have all the pricing components like price, discount, freight, etc apart from excise duty.
The excise invoice is created separately....with ref to the above billing doc....for posting the excise duty.
If the number ranges for billing document and excise invoice are different then it is difficult to trace the outstanding amount from a particular customer on the basis of excise invoice created in the system.
Can somebody provide inputs/solution on this?
    Thanks indvance.
    Rgds,
    Amit

    Hi Saurabh,
My question is not how to define number range for billing doc and excise invoice? i mean what procedure / tcode to be used for the same?
My question is whether we need to define same number range for Billing doc (F2) as well as Excise Invoice.
For example: number range 1000 to 1999  --- same for F2 and excise invoice....
Lets say billing doc 1000 is created. Further, when we create excise invoice w.r.t. this billing doc....the excise invoice created will also need to be 1000. ....so that we can identify that against this excise invoice, we need to collect the payment from customer.
If the number ranges for billing doc and excise invoice are different, then it is difficult for the user to trace the outstanding payment .....because genarally the excise is treated as Tax invoice by companies in India ...(so that the customer can claim the excise duty....when he purchases the goods from the company).
Whereas the customer account is hit when the billing doc is posted .....hence i feel, we need to keep the same number range for billing doc and exice invoice.
Hope the question/scenario is clear now.
I would appreciate the inputs on the above, from the consultants/experts who have worked on SAP implementation projects in India.
    Rgds,
    Amit

  • Excise Invoice automatically created during STO Billing

    Hi all,
During creating of billing documents in VF01 for STO invoice, the excise invoice is also created simultaneously without manual creation.  Normally excise invoice are created seperately  by
giving the billing document reference no.through J1IIN.  Suddenly, the excise invoice has also
been created in VF01 itself.  Can anybody explain what may be the reason and how to restore
to manual transaction process of creating excise invoice.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Sadashivan

    Hi,
Check the Excise Group settings which you are using for your STO transaction .
SPRO -- Log gen--Tax on goods movement - India Basic settings --Maintain Excise Groups
Here for your Excise group check whether You have selected Excise inv during billing for Outgoing excise invoice.
If there then system will create automatically Excise invoice during Billing document creation,

  • Excise invoice date and delivery date difference..

    Hi all,
    1. Excise invoice is generated in the month of July for the delivery happened in June. Is there any implications?
When i do registry update and Utilisation, does it have an effect?
    2. Pending Excise are yet to be created for the month of June, started creating the excise document for the July delivery. Do I need to cancel the July delivery excise document and then post the June delivery excise document for continuity of excise numbers, before starting the excise creation for July..
    Kindly guide me..
    Thanks,
    Saravana Raja

    Hi,
As mentioned by Raj... it is OK as long as the goodds have not physically left the plant.
The excise invoice has to be created immediately after the PGI is completed in the delivery and also discuss with your excise department for the regular practise .
Make it a practise to check for all the open deliveries in the last week of the month and ensure that all the required excise invoices are created.

    1) Create the GR -101 material doc.
    2) J1IEX --Capture the excise invoice-with ref to GR-system generated the Part1 and Internal number here
3)J1IEX --Post the excise invoice with ref to Internal number.....now the Status in J_1IEXCDTL table is "P" means posted.
Now iam going to reverse the excise invoice
    1) Cancel the GR--102 material doc generated
2)J1IEX-Capture the excise invoice w r to GR(102) material doc number ...system is generated the Part1 and new Internal number...
3)J1IEX--Post the excise invoice w r to Internal number.......

    Hi,
Refer to SNote Note 1382678 - Pop-up to select Excise Invoice in J1IH/J1IIN cancellation.
    Symptom
While cancelling outbound Excise Invoice through the transaction J1IH or J1IIN, system always picks up the first excise invoice even when multiple excise invoices are present with same excise number and year.

  • Incoming Vs Outgoing Excise Invoices...

    Hi All,
Is there any link between, Incoming Excise invoice Vs Outgoing Excise invoice?
In any table can i get data like against 1 incoming Excise invoice How many Excise invoices are created?
    Reg,
    Amol

    Hi
All Incoming invoice are captured by MM people for which Excise Transaction type is GRPO
For all Outgoing invoices through SD will be with Excise transaction type DLFC.
There is no relationship with incoming and outgoing eexcise.
Except in depot sales there will be a relation as at the time of creating excise invoice in J1IJ you have to select the excise invoice from which the goods has been received at depot.
    J_1IEXCHDR is the header table
    J_1IEXCDTL is the item table

    Hello Experts !!!
my client is a trader of steel.
they have excising . While mapping to standard excise forms in SAP Business One , thier reuirements weren't fulfilled.
so i thought of creating customized forms for client .
can any body please brief me what accounts are affected while incoming / outgoing excise invoices are punched.
and how that tax amount is reflected in invoice level.
or any trading flow if any body provides me then it will be help full for me .
    Please experts !!!
    thanx in advance

    Hi,
You Just Need to Map your Accounts Normally For Excise Invoice in GL Account Determination.
In DI Server you have an option (objects) to create Excise Invoice and Corresponding Journal Entries.
You Need not to insert any value to any table by hard coding. It will leading you a complexity.
To Know more about DI Server and creating Invoice Transactions using Code, Please post your detailed thread in SAP B1 SDK Forum.
Hope you will get some solution
