POR - Creation date_Release date

I would like to see the difference between the date of creation of a Purchase Order Requisition and the date on which that POR has been released by the responsible with ME55.
The Request Date is the date of creation, ok, but.... how can I get the Date of Release? The Release Date (tab Quantities/Date in the POR position details) is not the date I'm looking for.... and If I consider the "Changed on" date (tab Contact Person in the POR position details) couldn't be true....
I can see the Date of Release if I select the line, click on Environment and then select Item Changes. I want that date.
How can I extract it for a certain number of POR's?
Thanks.

Hi,
You can refer table EKBE as it contains the history.
Alteernatively, you can make use of tables CHHDR & CDPOS
to get the change history nad hence the intended results.

  • Issue in creation of data from extended segment in background mode

    Dear all,
I am facing an issue in creation of data in receiving system using IDOC for an xtended matmas segment(Extended for classification view in user exit). The issue is that the idoc is received successfully in r3eceiving system but not created successfuly in data base .(Though it is shown green/successful).When i execute this from we19 the data is created successfuly in data base.I will be thankful if you can guide me resolve issue.
    Thanks.

    Hello,
you can use CALL TRANSFORMATION id, which will create a exact "print" of the ABAP data into the XML.
If you need to change the structure of XML, you can alter your ABAP structure to match the requirements.
Of course you can create your own XSLT but that is not that easy to describe and nobody will do that for you around here. If you would like to start with XSLT, you´d better start the search.

  • Creation of Data Element

    Hi,
I am working on special project of Automation of all utility billing and housing system for a big company in SAP.
For that I have to create 26 tables and obviously I am creating a lot of dataelements.
Now the problem is my quality dept says that I should use the inbuilt data elements and refrain from creating new ones. In this case the field label is not matching my field. He says that who is going to see the table and says that you can change the field description in reports as you like. Is it justified.
I can see that there are more than 500 standard datalements created for  a char field of length 4 by SAP. but none of the description matches my field description. if the case is of reducing the load then does sap recommend not to create z data elements.
Can we create dataelement just for the sake of field label and what is the other purpose of a dataelement if not
How much load will be generated by creating a dataelement.
kindly give some insight into the need to create dataelements.

    Hi!
If your Quality people are that much particular about creation of data elements, there is one way to solve this problem. Use standard data elements.
I know here you will get a doubt that after creating a maintenance generator you will not be able to see the description whatever you want in SM30. For this follow the below procedure.
While creating maintenance generator you will give the function group name right, go to SE80 -> and give the function group name there -> double click on the screen number of maintenance -> click on element list tab -> click on 'Texts/I/O templates' tab -> now against the field names under 'Text or I/O Field' column remove the value '+____________' and type the field description there -> repeat the procedure for all the fields -> now save, check and activate the screen as well as function group.
Now if you go to SM30, you can see the field description for every field.
This is somewhat time consuming, but it may help you.
    Reward points, if useful.
    Regards,
    Venkat.

  • Creation of data type

    hi all.
sorry i just want some information in creation of data type which i svery ease to solve.
and it is i had seen one data type which was creatd by my colleague and its haveing occurance 1..unbounded for some and 1..10 for remaining elements and the other thing is in details she has given MAXLENGHT.
i just want to know y she has given these things under data type.
    waiting for any great answer.
    bye.
    regards.
    seeta ram.

    Hi,
All data types are described by XML Schema. All required information about XML Schemas you will get from:
    <a href="http://W3C XML Schema">http://www.w3.org/XML/Schema</a>
You can create data types either directly in IR using data type editor or import from external definitions.
Occurence, maxlength are properties of tags, attributes etc. and are defined by XML Schema.

  • Dynamic creation of date in selection variant

    Hi All,
I have a Z program for updating a field in BOM item. One of the input field in the report is "Valid From Date". Actually the current date is automatically fetched through a function module and it is defaulted in that field.
Our client is using selection variant for ease of use. The problem here is old date in the selection variant  is replacing the current date. I want current date to be created automatically during insertion of variant also. How can i solve this problem. Is there any selection variable inside the variant for dynamic creation of Date?
    Thanks
    Sankar

As I know there is no setting for this. For any std or Z report variant function with L should act same way...anyway you discuss with your ADABer.
    See the help for variables
    Selection Variables
The following three types of selection variables are currently
        supported:
    o   Table variables from TVARV
You should use these variables if you want to store static
information. TVARV variables are proposed by default.
    o   Dynamic date calculations:
To use these variables, the corresponding selection field must have
type 'D' (date). If the system has to convert from type T to type D
when you select the selection variables, the VARIABLE NAME field is
no longer ready for input. Instead, you can only set values using
            the input help.
The system currently supports the following dynamic date
            calculations:
            Today's date
From beginning of the month to today
           Today's date +/- x days
           First quarter ????
           Second quarter ????
           Third quarter ????
           Fourth quarter ????
           Today's date - xxx, today's date + yyy
           Previous month
    o   User-specific variables
Prerequisite: The selection field must have been defined in the
program using the MEMORY ID pid addition. User-specific values,
which can be created either from the selection screen or from the
user maintenance transaction, are placed in the corresponding
selection fields when the user runs the program.
The SELECTION OPTIONS button is only supported for date variables that
fill select-options fields with single values.
i.e means we can do that with D also.

  • PDF Creation with data from SAP system

    Hi All,

  • CRM - SAP ECC 6.0- How to keep creation user data

    Hello gurus,
I'm working on a SAP project which scope is CRM - ECC6.0 (IS-U +SD) - BI 7.0 and we are facing an issue trying to extract from IS-U the user who created a business operation.
You have to know that process designed is :
    - business operation is created in CRM (as for business partner, contract account ...) by a user A.
    - business operation is replicated from CRM to IS-U
    - Communication user set up is called RFCUSER.
So that every business operations created in CRM, is created in IS-U and get mentioned in user creation area : RFCUSER instead of user A.
Similarly when an business operation is modified from ISU to CRM, the modification user is RFCUSER.
This is an issue when we try to know which user has created this business operation in ISU. We must go in CRM to read data.
So I want to konw if it's possible to change the communication user (make every user a communication user. It seems to be the worst solution, or if we can change bdoc structure exchange to keep creation user data, or if a customizing exists to solve this issue).
Thanks in advance for your answers.
    Jacques Toubon.

    Hello
Please give me suggestions on prerequisites for upgrade.
Start with these SAP notes and the guide.

1566412 - Enhancement package 6 for SAP ERP 6.0: Required SWC
    1496212 - EHP6 for SAP ERP 6.0 SP stacks - Release & Information Note
    1598141 - SAP Enhancement Package 6 for SAP ERP 6.0:Compatible Add-ons
1.How can we decide it is one step proces or two step process?
Upgrade from EHP4 to EHP6 is a single upgrade.
Bear in mind that EHP6 needs a higher version of OS and DB.
Please check PAM for supported OS and DB for EHP6
2.can we skip shadow instance creation step??
Download the SUM guide and read the chapter "Preconfiguration Mode Planning" and the "Current Capabilities" section. Here is the SUM guide for SAP on Unix with Oracle.
    https://websmp208.sap-ag.de/~sapidb/011000358700000783532011E
There are different upgrade scenarios. The section "Recommendations for Choosing the Preconfiguration Mode" explains the use of each mode and the mode you should select.
3.can we copy sum tool in /usr/sap/sid/sum??
Yes you can. But I suggest you to create a new file system called /usr/sap/SID/SUM for the upgrade purpose instead of creating a directory called SUM under /usr/sap/SID file system.

  • Document creation statistic data

    Hi,
I've been task to create report that will show some kind of statistic about document creation, by date, username etc in our ERP system. First thing I came up with is to pull documents header data and count them in query designer.
I know i need data from EKKO and VBAK tables for purchasing and sales, any other?
Also if you have any better suggestion ...?
    Regards,
    Mijodrag

So you mean to say that you need to create a report which will give you the count of creation date based on different type of orders.
You have only considered--Purchase orders and sales orders..How about Production orders and Planning orders.
Please think about them as well.
    Regards,

  • Safari annoyance - creation/modification dates are reset on downloads

When downloading files (images for example) by dragging them from a Safari window to a Finder window/drive, the files' creation date and modification date is reset to the date/time it is downloaded; this also happens if you choose "Save Image" from the contextual menu.
It seems the only way Safari will preserve the original creation date and modification date of downloads is by option clicking a hyperlink that points to the file. Anyone know if there is any other way?
Power Mac G4 dual 867 Mirrored Drive Doors   Mac OS X (10.4.4)

Thanks to the sharp folks at macosxhints.com I discovered that file creation/mod dates are preserved by dragging image files to Safari's Downloads folder, so I guess it suffices for my needs...still, drag-and-drop to the Finder should do the same.
Also you can paste the file's URL into the address bar and hit option-return, or option-double click the file's URL in the Activity window.

  • Creation/modified date from files

    Hi all,
    I work with Forms6i on a 8.1.6 database.
In my Application I copy/move files from e.g. C: to an folder on the server. Now I will check, if the application really had copy/move the file. I would do this with the creation/modified date from the files. (e.g. If the modified date on the server is the same as the modified date from C:, then the application had really copied.)
How can I find out the creation/modified date from the file in Forms6i. Which package can I use?
    Thanks. Sorry, for my english.
    Regards
    Sandra

In Client server forms you can use D2KWutil (See the WIN_API_FILE package).

  • How to Check Creation/Change data for PO Service Line item

Hi, I was wondering what field(s) from what table(s) I would have to check if I wanted a report to look for the creation or chnaged date of a specific service item in a PO?
Currently it is using the EKPO-AEDAT field to check if a PO line item has been changed, but I would like to narrow it down to just some service line items instead of capturing all the service lines in a recently changed PO line item.
Thank you very much in advance for the advice!

Hi Rashid, thanks for the advice, but it doesn't really solve my problem.
What I want to know is if there is a field where the date of a service item was created in a PO line item is stored, so that an ABAP report can be written to retrieve newly created service items from POs.

  • Sales Order creation/ change date for the items

I have a unique scenario and i need to get a Report for this
A sales order is created for 4 line items.
Out of these , for 2 line items a delivery is created. I need the sales order creation date and time  for these 2 items in a custom report
Now the other 2 items go in to some kind of block- Now these are released by going in the sales order VA02 and after releasing the delivery is created. Again for these two items , i need the sales order change date as after a user goes and changes the sales order to remove the block only then delivery is created for these two items
Also another scenario is the 2 line items go for back order and when we get stock  at tht time system confirms the stock and then the delivery is created for these. So also for this when this change occured i need to get the date for these 2 line items
Can any one please suggest how to get this data  from the scenarios?
I dont want to get the date when the delivery is created as i can get tht from the LIKP table. I need the sales order create and change dates for these.

You may be aware, any changes to a document will be recorded in CDHDR (for header changes) and CDPOS (for item changes).  You can explore these two tables.
    thanks

  • Is there any User Exit or BADI- Where LTAP-WDATU is as change parameter ,So during or after Transfer order creation GR date would be as per given logic not as current date

    Dear All,
There is a requirement in which when the material (Not batch managed) is getting return from Non WM managed storage location to WM managed storage location than at the time of creating transfer order or after creation of transfer order would like to change LTAP-WDATU (GR date) automatically , So here i am unable to find the right user exit or BADI in which i can write the logic for same. Below is full description of the requirement.
Here we are following Removal strategy "FIFO" while picking the material (Not batch managed) from WM managed storage location (WMS1) & transferring to Non WM managed storage location (ODS) ( than from there it use to go to Production) , at certain times partial quantity use to come back from Non WM managed storage location (ODS) to WM managed storage location (WMS1) and while doing putaway of the same "GR date" use to change which was not the actual when the material 1st time comes to WM managed storage location (WMS1) (before getting transfer to Non WM managed storage location). So here i want the user exit or BADI in which i can write my logic so that GR date ( LTAP-WDATU) would automatically change while creating transfer order or after creation of transfer order as per the "GR date" of same material which last moved from WM managed Storage location (WMS1) to Non WM managed storage location(ODS) because as per FIFO material dated before that would not be exist in the warehouse.
Below is the flow of the material while transferring to production & returning from production.
WMS1 ( WM managed warehouse ) --> ODS ( Non WM managed warehouse) --> Production  At the time of issue to production
Production --> ODS ( Non WM managed warehouse) --> WMS1 ( WM managed warehouse ) At the time of return from production
I hope i m clear on my requirement.
    Thanks in advance.

    1. You have to get a key from SAP to modify the two includes in which the user exits are present.
    2. You have to enter statement 'INCLUDE z**. ' in both user exits in the MV45* includes. Then save and activate the MV45** includes.
    3. You have to figure out the code that carries out the functionality described in your specifications.
    3. Write the code in includes Z** .
    4. Now the code written by you will be executed when you run the relevant SD transaction

Are you on XI3.0/Pi 7.0 or PI 7.1?
if its XI3.0/Pi 7.0, then note that XI doesn't validate the length of the data/field even though the option is there.

Else if you are on PI 7.1, you can expect validation.

  • Dynamic Creation of Data Tables and Fields

Hello all. I am currently working with a system that contains a bunch of windows. These windows are divided into two groups that represent their presentation style: Columns (such as a table) and Free (such as in a form). I created two tables in database to describe each and every window. These tables describe the type of presentation style, the fields of each window (title of the field, size of the field, position in window, and many more...)
I did this to make the creation of the windows more effective. In this way that I have, I only have to make one window to display all the thousands of windows that I have in my database because the values of presentation are taken from the description in the tables.
I was able to do this through TextFields and JTables in Swing. But now I run into JSC. Is this possible with JSC? Say in case the presentation style of the window is Column, can I tell the data table to go read the description of the window that needs to be opened to obtain the amount of columns, the column names, the size of each column... then create the tables and present the values?
Or say the presentation style is Free... I need to go find how many fields need to be created and their positions in the form, and then the titles of each field. Any ideas how this can be performed?
    Thank you.

Creator won't help you with the graphical design, but it's definitely possible to dynamically compose the set of components that are children of a particular component. Doing so leverages the basic component APIs of JSF (javax.faces.component.UIComponent), so you'll want to grab yourself a copy of the JSF Javadocs (or use Creator's lookup facilities as you type your code) to understand what's possible.
The most important detail is that all components have a getChildren() method that returns a java.util.List of the child components for that component (as well as a getParent() to get the parent component). Any manipulation you do on this returned list is reflected in the structure of the overal component tree.
As a simple example, assume you want to add an input text component as a child of the form. You'd do something like this:
    HtmlInputText input = new HtmlInputText();
input.setXxx(..); // Set properties as needed
form1.getChildren().add(input); // add new childCraig McClanahan
